La posizione strepitosa ed eccezionale, il silenzio nonostante in una delle vie più animate di Roma. Da tornarci sicuramente anzi tra tutte quelle dove sono stata è tra le migliori in assoluto, ma in una stagione dove non è necessario il riscaldamento. La camera era fredda, ho chiesto più volte alla ragazza della reception se il clima fosse funzionante perché non proveniva nessun rumore e il telecomando non era comprensibile e nonostante mi fosse stato assicurato che funzionava la camera è rimasta molto fredda per tutto il tempo del soggiorno.

- monaza (8/5): Amazing location, lovely staff :) - Location is fantastic! seconds from the Spanish steps and so many great places to eat. We booked 2 rooms and were given 2 apartment rooms so not quite hotel vibes but the rooms were sufficient for our stay. The lady on reception, Parisa was lovely. We had a nightmare with our flight but she was so accommodating and helped us as much as she could. I asked a lot of questions prior to our stay and she was always available to answer questions. Thank you so much :) In the centre of Rome, the buildings are very old so there will always be issues with smells and rain lol We visited in the winter and there was a lot of water leakage downstairs while trying to get into the lift because of the rain and there was a lot of mould in 1 of our rooms. There was also a very strong smell of mould in the lift which may bother some people. Again this is no fault of the staff, it is just because of the buildings (which are beautiful) The shower cubical was also very small which could also be difficult for some as it was for 1 of my friends.

- Patti (4/5): Find a different place - The location was great except our taxi couldn’t drive down the street to drop us off so we had to drag our luggage. We had specified we must have 2 beds when booking the room. Not only did we NOT have separate beds but we were forced to share a double bed. When I went to let the gal who checked us in that we were supposed to have 2 beds, she just shrugged her shoulders. She couldn’t care less. Our room was hot. It was supposed to be air conditioned but there was no control, no thermostat in our room. The gal at the desk said there was just one control for the whole place and they couldn’t make it any cooler.

- Wendell (4/5): - I was shocked at the very poor communication. I noticed 12 days before arriving that i had booked the wrong days by one day. I tried calling several times and the phone was never answered other than by machine. When I left a message I received no response. I also tried emaling and again received no response. I used the contact us feature of their web site 3 times, again without reponse. I had expedia reach out to them and they tried for three days but couldn't get a response. I finally got a whats app message a day before checkin saying they wouldnt change my booking. When we did check in there was no person to talk to, just whatsapp message. The combiation to our door was wrong to they remotely unlocked it. When i asked how we could lock the door when we were out of the suite they said just leave it open. There was an external door that did work but there was another door besides ours behind that. They said no one was staying there so I just had to leave our suite unlocked the entire time trusting that the other suite wouldnt be rented. The place had a dishwasher but no soap. When I asked for soap they said they didn't provide that. There was a dirty cup in the sink when we arrived and no dish cloth. We stayed an extra two days in Rome and stayed at a different Airbnb. The contrast couldnt have been greater. They looked after everything wonderfully and anticipated our needs. They even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and snacks.

Parisa was very helpful and made both check-in and check-out very super easy, even though we arrived outside the usual hours. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but with all the other positive aspects, this was just a minor detail. Overall, a great stay!

While the location is close to high end boutiques and the Spanish Steps, there isn’t a ton to do in the area. The room itself smelled and the wifi was inconsistent. Very basic amenities provided (like a bar of soap and a packet for shampoo). The shower was small, narrow, and rusty. Overall a place to sleep at night but don’t expect to be comfortable or relaxed during your stay. Would highly suggest a different option in Rome that’s more comfortable.

- Michael (6/5): - Not a true hotel. There is a desk person in a separate part of the building that is only available between noon and 5pm. I specifically booked a two-bed room as I was travelling with my teen daughter. I got a room with one double bed. No help with sleeping arrangements with this and I ended up sleeping on the floor for 4 nights. It is also a noisy area and you will hear glass smashing at 5am every morning from garbage collection. Otherwise it was clean, in a great central area and safe.

The room was convenient for our quick stay. The only downside was that the receptionist who checked us in wasn’t very welcoming, which left a less-than-great first impression. Overall, though, the location makes this a solid choice if you want to be in the center of everything.

- Gina (4/5): - If you are just looking for location, this property is for you. It is minutes to the Spanish steps, trevi and many other attractions. However everything else is lacking! AC did not work, I stayed for 3 nights and the temperature never went below 25⁰C/ 77⁰F. The room I stayed in was very dark with no windows, not to mention that the curtain on the door to the room is on the outside, so anyone can look in. There are blackout curtains you can close but then you have no natural light at all. The wifi does not work and the bathroom sink did not drain, and even though it is listed the elevator does not work. As a solo traveler it was scary to come back at night. Once you come off of the street you enter a dimly lit entry way and go up the stairs. Once you use code to get into the "lobby" there is a long hallway where the lights are off and into a open space that is also not lit to get into your room. Anyone could have come up behind me while I was trying to get in. I am not sure what else is in this building or who has access as it seemed the hotel was only the one floor. I spent 2.5 weeks all over Europe during this trip and this was the most disappointing accommodation.

I was nervous as the photos did the two rooms we had no justice at all, but the two rooms we had were charming and beautifully decorated! If I HAD to complain, it was a bit noisy with trash collection in the morning, the wifi was average and the water pressure not great (don’t plan on washing your hair 🤣) but definitely nothing that would stop me booking again! Will DEFINITELY be staying again!

The room was nice, but very warm and took a while to cool down (not a reason for a poor rating, but something to be aware of if you’re planning to go straight to bed). My only complaint is that the hotel was difficult to find and many people working in the area were unable to give accurate directions so we spent a long time walking in circles with heavy suitcases on cobblestones. I would recommend asking for directions ahead of time or, once you’re there, the local police seemed to be the most accurate with directions!

The minute you walked out the front door you were next to restaurants a small grocery store, several gelato places and only a three minute walk to the Spanish steps. I would have preferred to have breakfast right on site, but there is an excellent café a one minute walk away that Was very nice. You can walk up the stairs or use the tiny elevator that got the job done.

Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we would highly recommend Piazza di Spagna Prestige to anyone visiting Rome for its comfort, convenience, and prime location.

- David (10/5): A little jewel in the heart of Rome - Wonderful hotel about a 5-10 minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Near a whole wide selection of higher end retail stores, shops, restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Hotel is comfortable, rooms are spacious and roomy with great doors that open out on a terrace overlooking the Main Street. Bed is comfortable (on the harder side, high we like) and the bathroom big enough for a family of 3! Great water pressure in the shower. There’s also a small mini-fridge and the AC/heat is easy to operate.

- Adam (2/5): Great location, but had bed bugs - Would have been great, if not for the bud bugs. We couldn't make it one night here, the room was infested. I woke up at 3am with my arms on fire with multiple bug bites; we immediately found bugs in the bed, on the floor, and on my backpack. We immediately started working with hotels.com to find another place to stay as this room was uninhabitable. Once we had somewhere else to go, we did another check for bugs on our things and went straight to a laundromat to sanitize everything. When I got in touch with the Prestige management they were incredibly unhelpful, and insinuated that the bugs we encountered were brought in on our bags (as if we wouldn't have noticed 10 bed bugs on our things), which also ignores us finding bed bugs at various life stages. A clear indicator they've set up residence in that hotel. I'd be very surprised if they haven't made their way into other rooms there now, especially with how nonchalant they were about the situation. Absolutely cannot recommend staying here.

- B525KBadamg (2/5): Fine if you like sharing a room with bed bugs - DO NOT STAY HERE - my wife and I couldn't even make it one night in their Navona room as it was infested with bed bugs. I woke up at 3am with my arms on fire, covered in bites. I found three immediately, then one more on the floor, three on my backpack, and we saw two more crawl on the pillows after we jumped out of bed. 10 in not very long, and not having to try that hard to find them. The headboard in the room differs from pictures online, it’s a felt backed headboard that’s attached to the wall, no doubt covered in these things. We booked with an external service and thankfully they were able to help us find new lodging for our time in Rome, but the hotel itself was not helpful about this situation in the slightest. The manager insisted that housekeeping didn’t find any bed bugs, and only offered “sometimes they attach themselves to luggage”. This room was absolutely infested and no doubt the rest of the rooms will be soon if not already. They do not seem to take this issue seriously at all, and only offered to refund the city tax we paid when checking in ($50 of a $1150 stay), which they still haven’t done days after we left. This place is a hazard not only to its guests but the surrounding area. That aside, great location!

The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was carpeted which was a bit icky but not really a big deal. Definitely recommend this place if you're on a budget!
