• Emma (6/5): Correct - Chambre spacieuse, plus de rangements que dans la plupart des auberges, personnel très gentil, auberge très jolie et petit déjeuné compris La chambre était mal isolées (on entendu beaucoup la rue et beaucoup de courants d’air). L’eau se répandait partout dans la salle de bain lorsqu’on prenait sa douche. Le rideau de la fenêtre à côté de mon lit était mal monté (je ne pouvais pas le fermer)

Für unseren Geschmack, da wir sicherlich auch alterstechnisch aus dem Hostelklientel fallen, empfanden wir das angebotene Essen zum Frühstück etwas dürftig, aber jeder konnte sich seine mitgebrachten Sachen in der Küche selbst brutzeln.

• Maria Eugenia (7/5): Buena relación calidad-precio - Para ser un hostel esta muy bien. Por lo general los hostels suelen estar super detonados y este estaba limpio/ordenado, bastante en condiciones y en una buena zona, si bien no es en pleno centro, son solo 10 min de caminata hasta llegar al centro. Lo mejor de todo es que si la idea es cruzarte gente con working holiday, seguro la puedas encontrar acá. La almohada es como dormir con una feta de jamón de lo fina que es, recomiendo llevar tu propia almohada. Hay que decir que es un hostel limpio para lo que es un estándar en un hostel, pero se podría intensificar un poco mas la limpieza en las duchas del baño de mujeres.

• Marie (9/5): - Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist top. Man gelangt innerhalb von 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Opernhaus. Eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer wäre super gewesen.

• Marion (9/5): Super séjour à The Pacific House, je recommande ! - Les salles de bains et les toilettes sont propres. Les chambres disposent de plusieurs rangements. Le personnel est très aimable. L’établissement propose de nombreuses activités. L’emplacement est idéal. La cuisine est un peu petite ainsi que la salle à manger.
• Cerridwen (8/5): Perfect first stop in Sydney! - Great location, friendly staff and nice to have breakfast available every morning. Good variety of activities throughout the week as well. Having 2 lockers is great, and private toilets that are NOT ensuites helps limit noise in the rooms when people are getting ready in the mornings. Rarely had to wait as well and even then, not for long. No proper plug for the top bunks, just an older USB-A, so you can’t charge your phone overnight. There are lots of plugs in the room but it’s really inconvenient if you’re stuck on the top.

• Diane (7/5): If you like to live in ancient buildings, you feel delightful living in this building. If you enjoy social events with p - The traditional design of the whole building. The huge posters, huge locker, a big dining room, the evacuation map in every floor. You have to rent a hair dryer before you go to shower, they don’t offer one in the bath room. The trash bin was at the side of kitchen island and the route of the kitchen could be better if you request an interior designer. The breakfast is NOT « continental » at all to me. I need to BUY extra Fruits, Vegetables and even Eggs too better my breakfast. I would not recommend people book a room with breakfast like this. I suppose it’s very hard for the manager of this hostel to run the accommodation business in Sydney. A bit too hot, and I don’t see any air conditioning in the room. Wonder what it would like in winter.

• Venus (10/5): A nice hostel in a location well connected to transport hubs. - A great place to stay in Sydney. As a wheelchair user traveling by myself, I had no difficulties staying @ Pacific House. The fully accessible bathroom is in the ground floor while my room was on the second floor but it all worked out well. Mr. Nick, the manager, was most helpful with me. The other staff were great, too. I felt very welcome. I’ll stay there again when I visit Sydney next year. Love it. Nothing.

• Marah1973 (9/5): - Ein sehr schönes Hostel, sehr gut organisiert, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, Frühstück ist natürlich auch ein Pluspunkte. Lage super. Man hat den Park vor der Tür, Botanischer Garten auch nicht weit und man kann überall hin laufen. Man muss positiv hervorheben, dass es keine Altersgrenze nach oben gibt, wie in vielen australischen Hostels. Auch als Mensch (weit) über 30 fühlt man sich hier genauso willkommen! Duschen sind in der Regel sauber, es sind vermutlich einfach zu viele Menschen und nicht alle achten drauf...ist viel besser jedenfalls als in anderen Hostels. In meinem Zimmer (DZ 312a mit Gemeinschaftsbad) gab es leider nur einen Kleiderhaken an der Tür. Ein paar Regalfächer waren da, aber keine Möglichkeit, Kleidung oder Handtücher aufzuhängen. Am Platz liegt es nicht.

• constanza (7/5): - clean, tidy and comfy with a good location near to some cafés to have breakfast…the breakfast is good enough with toasties cereal and spread if you dont want to spend oustide, the location is algo good you can walk to st james station in 10 minutes I wouldn’t recommend or come back to this hostel just because they don’t have aircon in rooms and it feels enclosed air inside
