Guest Reviews
- Hatsuse (10/5): -
- Wirralians (8/5): Really good breakfast. Very good location. - Deep pile bedroom carpet was so nice underfoot after a footslogging day. Breakfast was very good, although had we not been on the inclusive menu, the prices were high. Minor things: the shutters didn't quite close on one if the windows & the shower temperature controller was stuck at too high a temperature. As we only stayed one night we couldn't report whether they were repaired. The music was too loud at breakfast.
- GEORGIANA (9/5): Comfortable and refreshing. - The location, modern feel and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast was pricey at £21.

- Richard (8/5): Fantastic location, very clean room, friendly staff and good value for money - Compact air condtioed room - ideal for a short stay. Readily iced cold water(sparkling as well) available.Good TV, bed and excellent shower with good shampoos/conditioners etc. Fantastic location for tube 5 minutes walk, buses outside and very handy to walk most places.Very attentive and friendly staff. Good lifts to all floors. Didn't try restaurant -so couldn't comment - but looked trendy and goo, Fantastic cafes over road. Perhaps a little bit bigger room - but ideal for what we wanted

- Inmaculada (9/5): - Clea, well located (5 mins from the tube), nice staff, nice room, excellent breakfast... Perfect stay for a London trip. Everything was fine.

- Rosanna (10/5): - Posizione ottimale, staff cordiale e gentile,ha soddisfatto ogni richiesta. Prossimo viaggio ci torneremo.

- Damian (8/5): Great location, amazing housekeeping but loathed the shag pile - Clean and quiet room: crucial things some hotels just miss. Loved the OCD like efforts of housekeeping.
Great location for Farringdon station, 55/243 bus right outside and 8-10 minutes walk to the array of non chain bars and dining on Exmouth market The interior decor can be weird. The brown 1970s shag pile carpet in the room is a repulsive thing: just horrible to look at, let alone wonder how even with the best will in the world it’s not a breading ground for dirt and bacteria
- Ana (9/5): - Decoración Moqueta y tamaño cama
- Raizza (10/5): - Clean room. spacious. There's a Lebanese restaurant nearby with awesome food. Staff recommended this and it was a great recommendation.

- Eralco (8/5): Great location, lovely hotel - This was a very nice hotel. The location is great with lots of nice pubs and walks close by. Easy enough to walk to Kings Cross too. I had a good size room, very clean, great shower, fluffy towels and the bed was so comfy. I didn't eat or go to the hotel bar, so can¡t comment on that. I would recommend staying at this hotel and would definitely return.
A couple of things to mention for feedback purposes only are the bottom of plug sockets are so close to the tables, that you can't plug things in and only one side of the bed had a plug socket. We didn’t¡t have control of the heating/aircon control. Even though we continuously turned it off, it kept coming on, especially during the night which made the room a little too hot.

- Chrisna (10/5): Great Hotel, super friendly staff!! - The staff were all so helpful and friendly, nothing was to much effort. The receptionist who I spoke to before arriving there, Sha.... Something, sorry, bad with names but she was so great, definitely an asset to the hotel. We managed to book in as soon as we arrived there which was great as I didn't feel well and just needed to have a rest before exploring a bit of London. I also asked if I could do a late check out which was granted which I was really happy about. Thank you x It's really hard to fault anything but if I had to say anything, it might be the bed. We are use to sleeping on a king size bed. Obviously this was a double as the rooms in London is not that big so this is understandable. The mattress was a little soft and we both ended up in the middle of the mattress squashed together as it was sagging a little in the middle. Maybe it's better when a person is of a smaller frame. I would have liked a bit more coffee sachets in the room although I thought that there was not coffee and tea facilities in the room as its not mentioned in the description so it was a lovely surprise.

- Daisy 2 (8/5): Beautiful suite, potentially amazing terrace… but an expensive miss overall - 😊 PROS:
We upgraded both stays to the Rooftop Signature Private Suite and the space itself is fantastic — generous room with an even larger terrace
Terrace setup includes deep seating sofa, chairs, chaise lounges, coffee table, and an outdoor clawfoot tub (this is why we booked)
Beds were very comfortable
Room was spacious with a pretty view
Great in-room bar setup — fridge, Nespresso machine, plenty of water (still & sparkling) and coffee pods
Convenient location if you’re open to public transport — a couple blocks to the Tube and bus stop directly across the street
Luca at the front desk was exceptional — truly above and beyond service. Our first night he actually walked us to a nearby grocery store so we could grab wine and sandwiches after a long travel day. Absolute standout. 😕 CONS:
The biggest issue: the outdoor seating had no cushions, making the sofa and chairs essentially unusable
→ This was incredibly frustrating because the entire reason we booked this specific suite — and chose to stay outside central London (adding significant taxi costs, £140 each way just from the airport) — was specifically for the outdoor space
→ We were given 2 temporary cushions and told housekeeping would have everything fully set up the next day… this never happened during our 5-night stay
The outdoor tub does NOT get hot water
→ At best it was tepid, which again makes no sense given London weather and the purpose of the space
Lack of follow-through
→ We raised the issue again on our last night and were told a manager would call us. No one ever did — it’s now been 4 days, still no call
→ Everyone we interacted with was very nice — but they all felt new and unsure, which likely contributed to the lack of follow-through
Breakfast is wildly overpriced
→ £60 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 single Eggs Benedict (not even full portions or part of a set)
→ We ended up eating across the street the rest of the trip — large breakfast sandwiches for £6 and cappuccinos for £4
💭 PERSONAL MUSINGS:
This hotel almost gets it right. The room, terrace, and overall concept are fantastic — but the execution just isn’t there. It felt like the right hand had no idea what the left hand was doing the entire stay.
The biggest disappointment is that the one feature we specifically booked (and paid more for) — the outdoor experience — was never actually usable.
Would I stay here again? Maybe… but only if they fix the outdoor setup (proper seating + functionality) and improve communication and follow-through.
And give Luca a raise — he’s the only reason this review isn’t lower.
- Raimondo (9/5): - Location, price quality ratio
- Merve Nur (6/5): - Location. Aged Carpets
No Hand shower.

- traceyfish0 (10/5): Great hotel and location - We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel.
Location was great, a few minutes walk from Farringdon station and a 30 minute walk to the West End. Lots of bars and eateries in the area.
The room was pleasant with a large bed and great shower, although no Bose speaker as advertised.
Breakfast was superb, with a choice of fruit/yoghurt, toast/pastry, main breakfast dish all served with juice and hot drink.
Reception staff were very helpful. We requested a late checkout at the last minute, as we were dining at the restaurant for lunch on our last day and this was easily accommodated.
On an aside, the lunch was also lovely at Gazette.
Would definitely stay again at the right price. We managed to get a superb b&b deal.

- Moein (9/5): -
- Mohammed Qasim (10/5): -
- Vanda (10/5): Ótimo a prestação de serviço - Amei Nada a reclamar
- EllaVilliers (8/5): Nice Hotel with Friendly Staff - I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but would have felt more welcome if there had been some vegan options on the menu. There wasn't even one vegan option on the breakfast menu. The option for vegans for lunch/dinner consisted of french fries and green beans.

- lotuseater888 (8/5): Superb location for City and West End - Very good location for City business and West End. Wonderful reception staff. Rooms are not bad, no iron or ironing board. Good value for the money.
Like all hotels now, impossible to get the temperature right with the electronic thermostat. This affliction is ubiquitous and ruins your sleep. Health and Safety nanny state prevents guests from opening the windows to make matters worse.

- bcw2026 (10/5): Clean Comfortable and Pleasant - Quieter location but close to everything. Room was really nice with comfortable bed, clean, quiet and lots of light.
- rosadavidson (6/5): Lovely Stay Undermined by Cleanliness Issue - We were initially very pleased with Marrable’s Farringdon . The location is excellent, just a short walk from Farringdon Station, and check-in was efficient and welcoming.
Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a housekeeping oversight. We discovered visibly dirty underwear from a previous guest left in the pocket of one of the bathrobes in our room. While staff responded quickly and removed the item when we reported it, the bathrobes themselves were not replaced, which left us feeling uncomfortable and less confident about the overall cleanliness of the room.
We understand that mistakes can happen, but for a four-star hotel this was disappointing, and we were surprised that no further acknowledgement or goodwill gesture was offered at checkout.
It’s a shame, as otherwise the hotel has many positives.
Apart from this mishap, the hotel was great!

- B2981RSrakeshk (10/5): Very Good experience - Thank you, Marrable’s team, for offering a warm, welcoming experience from the moment I walked in. The ambience is inviting, the service is prompt, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel instantly at ease. A special appreciation to Barkha at the reception—her friendly attitude, professionalism, and genuine hospitality truly elevate the entire experience.
- Brian (4/5): - Great location and I have enjoyed staying here before. The hotel seems to have taken a turn for the worst. No hot water or tea or coffee making facilities on any of the floors. Come on. You have to provide hot beverages even in a 3 star hotel.
- Victoria (6/5): Great location, ok rooms, need to re-think the coffee stations! - Great location No coffee in room. Having coffee stations in each floor is fine but only if they always have hot water and tea/coffee available. Both mornings we were there this was not the case
- natalie (8/5): I would definitely return here. - Comfortable bed, very quiet, convenient location, pleasant staff. Accommodated earl check in and late check out for free. Wonderful natural light and sky view from
latge windows. Rug seemed dirty and grout on shower walls needs ro be freshened up.
- Donna (6/5): It - Excellent location. Stairs from bathroom to bedroom SHOULD have a hand rail. We both slipped down the steps and had no handrail to hold onto. VERY DANGEROUS.
Also would have been better to have a walk in shower rather than a tub.
A couple of Safety items which would have greatly improved our stay.
- Tanya (7/5): Lovely room, except for broken toilet. Breakfast was really good, nice to have a French themed menu. - Good location for the event we were attending, the room was great, lovely and modern, very comfortable bed. The toilet stopped working, when we got in in the evening, we coped until the morning, and let the receptionist know, when we went to breakfast, assuming this would get sorted with priority, it wasn't and no alternative offered to us. Considering the price of the room, I expected this to sorted whilst we were at breakfast.
The reception staff, are not that engaging, mainly looking at their computers, I wonder if they understood us?
- Raluca Mihaela (8/5): All was according to the description - nice staff, small but comfy room, good breakfast -

Parfait ! Rien
- Veerle (9/5): - Good location : Underground nearby, at 1 stop from St. Pancras, busstop in front of the hotel. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
Nice comfortable room, good shower, coffee and tea are available in the hallway. Very extensive delicious breakfast served, very good coffee. /

- meghanthomas748 (10/5): Such a fabulous hotel for a London break - Breakfast was incredible definitely worth adding!
The staff were lovely and so helpful, the coffee Bar (on each floor i think) was such a great addition, we could access wine glasses, coffee and tea, still and sparkling water whenever we wanted.
The rooms were lovely very clean and amenities were top notch.
Great location with a bus stop right outside direct to waterloo and east towards Hoxton and Dalston. Also 10min walk to Farringdon station for the tube and Elizabeth line.
- F8688FIsarahh (10/5): Great hotel, lovely staff - Such a lovely hotel. The reception staff were very friendly, the room was great, the hotel was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We'll definitely come again, a brilliant find!

- Melvin (10/5): -
- Molly (9/5): -
- Duncan (5/5): A disturbed night's sleep. - Nice room and comfortable bed. Good clean bathroom and good shower. The fire alarm went off twice at around 2am, which severely disturbed my night's sleep. When I queried this in the morning, the mangager was blase about it and said some guest had set it off by accident- as if it were unimporttant that X hundred guests had had their sleep significantly disturbed.
- Ulrich (7/5): -
- Emma (9/5): Clean comfortable, lovely little extras, would stay again! - Very close to transport links, very clean and comfortable with lovely little additions like robes, fluffy towels/flannels , comfy bedding, plenty of water available 24/7 and unlimited tea and coffee. Rooms exactly as advertised and not noisy at all. If the boiling water storage could have been monitored and topped up a little more frequently that would have been amazing as we had to call down to reception twice, but when we did they immediately responded and were so helpful by brining hot water directly to our room as well as re stocking. So that just shows the great level of customer service!
