• Natalia (2/5): Canceled 1 hour before check-in after a full day of travel. - I booked this hotel 3 weeks in advance. On the day of travel, we were in contact throughout the day with no indication of any problem. Only 1 hour before check-in, already in Istanbul after a full day of traveling, I received a cancellation. The alternative they offered looked nothing like what I booked — more like a budget hostel than a hotel, with photos that clearly didn’t match the original listing. This is not acceptable treatment of a guest. Canceling at the last minute after stringing someone along all day causes real stress and disruption. I cannot comment on the hotel itself, but the customer handling alone warrants this review.

При настаняването направо се наложи и да напуснем и да прекараме целия ни ден в търсене на друг хотел. При което ние моментално казахме, че не можем да останем в този хотел, но управителя взе нашите паспорти и ги задължа и се наложи да се обадим на полицията за съдействие. Имаше и други гости, които бяха в същото положение и искаха да напуснат хотела, още преди да се настанят. Моля да не бъде възстановена сумата, изплатих имейл към вас с приложени снимки на стаята, както можем и да покажем платежното на другия хотел. Моля за обратна връзка!
• Sergei (3/5): - Расположено близко к метро и на популярной туристической улице, если сделать ремонт и починить все сломанное - дизайн интересный. Отменяют бронирование люкс номера в последний момент, когда я уже был в аэропорту, никаких компенсаций за это. В первый день поселили в эконом номер, очень грязно и сломано вообще все, мусор от прошлых посетителей прямо в номере. На второй день поселили в номер с балконом, он чище, но сломана сантехника, свет и шторы, уборщица успела на уборку прямо перед нами и было в целом чисто, спасибо клинеру. Номер с балконом находится прямо над баром с музыкой, берите с собой беруши. Сама гостиница в очень плохом состоянии, за эту цену можно найти варианты много лучше в соседних зданиях.

• Mika Hämäläinen (1/5): This is not a hotel but a nightclub with rooms - Central location This hotel is located inside of a night club, to get in at night, you need to push yourself through partying people to take an elevator to your room. They play music very loud which makes it difficult to sleep. The rooms are dirty too, there were some pillows with brown stains on them, and one day the house keeping changed our bedsheets to dirty ones with a lot of stains on them. The room smelled like cigarette. The nightclub bouncer is also running the hotel reception. Don't expect to get any help from the hotel staff as they are taking care of the nightclub.

• Sarah (5/5): Great location, but comes with issues which may affect your health and stay. - I’ll start by saying I have stayed in significantly worse places. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and powerful. The room was large, with a fridge and a kettle. And the window seats, had the weather been better, would’ve been absolutely delightful to sit and read on with the window open. The location is absolutely fantastic for ease of access to transport and Istiklal Street. Now onto the issues. You enter the hotel through an Irish bar, this presents issues in that certainly on the Friday and Saturday nights when I was there, loud music (sometimes live) and the associated noises with people drinking, continued until around 3 am. No earplugs were provided. In addition to this the bar presents another issue in that the cigarette smoke, as people are allowed to smoke inside, drift up the communal stairwell and into the bedrooms. If you turn your heater/cooler on this increases the smoke so I assume it must be drawing air from somewhere inside the building. The shower is mouldy with the walls deteriorating, and the water overflow in the shower tray very quickly flooding the bathroom. The room safe didn’t work, but I didn’t request assistance with that as it would’ve just highlighted that I required it for something valuable. Let’s not mention the skid marks in the toilet when I first arrived to my room 🤦🏻‍♀️ Overall, I put up with the cons as I had paid a reduced rate for the room, however, had I been paying a full amount I would’ve been most disappointed and would have raised my concerns.

Det føltes ikke som et hotell, men mer som en nattklubb. Jeg fikk ikke sove i det hele tatt fordi det var altfor høy musikk fra flere nattklubber i nærheten. Mye unødvendig støy hele natten. Jeg kommer aldri til å booke dette hotellet igjen, og jeg kan absolutt ikke anbefale det til andre.

• Alina (6/5): Ok oplevelse - mangler små forbedringer - God lokation. Rart med flere håndklæder man kunne gøre brug af. Personalet den sidste dag var utrolig rar. Han gjorde alt i sin magt for at hjælpe os med transport til lufthavnen, det var rart og betryggende. Værelset er isoleret for den høje musik på gaden om fredagen og lørdagen, dog vil jeg anbefale at man tager nogle ørepropper med, hvis man er lyd sensitiv. Værelset er dejlig mørkt, når man skal sove. Vi boede på værelset med to separate senge. Sengene var ikke behagelige desværre, det synes jeg godt man kan gøre noget ved, i en by som Istanbul og kvarter som Beyoğlu, hvor man går rigtig meget og har brug for en behagelig seng til når man kommer hjem med trætte ben.

The people are smoking in the bar and even when you only pass the people to the elevator, your clothes all smell cigarette, because people are smoking inside. • Marek (8/5): Excellent location, large clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent value for money - Great location, very generously sized and clean rooms, nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Excellent value for money. Was noisy outside on the first night as some event was taking place, but otherwise external noise wasn't too loud on other nights. However the air con generator in the room was very loud so I had to turn it off at night. Can sometimes be a little tricky to find hotel staff as the hotel is above a pub and the reception on the first floor is not always manned. The view from the window was just to an internal concrete area - there also seemed to be lots of pigeons in this area which could be heard from inside the room. Bed was large but was two double beds pushed together.

• Areski (1/5): Horrible Hotel and exceptionally horrible staff. - The hotel was located in a busy strip that was walking distance from a lot. But it wasnt worth it because it was super noisy and we had music from their bar until 2 am. The staff were very unfriendly and not helpful. The music from their bar downstairs played until 2 am and you could hear it in the room. Many of the facilities like the wifi, the shower drain etc were not working and even when they changed our room they still didn't work and the toilet was broken as well as the shower in the new room. The woman at the check-in desk was extremely rude and intentionally marked us as a no show at the end of our trip because she knew they would get a bad review, this made it next to impossible to leave an honest review and we had to contact booking .com directly to make a complaint.

• Andrew (8/5): Very good - The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. As far as I can tell it was probably very recently renovated and all the furnishings were modern and clean. There is an elevator so no need to lug your heavy bags up the stairs, although sometimes it is very busy. Quite easy to get to from the airport from public transport. Staff was friendly and helpful when I spoke with them As others have noted, it is very noisy at night but I always travel with earplugs so it wasn't that big of an issue. The name has recently changed so the signage was confusing and I couldn't find the hotel without help from random people on the street, which felt awkward as a non-Turkish speaker

They told us that they will help with the refund, but at the end they told booking.com that we weren’t there so we won’t receive anything. Don’t book anything here.

• Καλλιόπη (10/5): Amazing stay - The location is one of the greatest for this trip. Lively and with everything you need right at your feet. The room design was impeccable, filled with light and great details, all the amenities provided. The pub is cute and plays amazing songs. The girl at the frontest is the sweetest and everyone provided details to make the stay great. The room has also a desk which helped when neede to work. Highly recommended. If you want full silence when sleeping that won't happen in the neighborhood in general. It's a great safe neighborhood but it's like a big party. I didn't have problem with that since the hotel has done it's best to soundproof the building.
• Mingyi (2/5): Given a room not match booking reserve - The owner leave keys to downstair pub guy for receiving guests. Only open a backup room for oversales. After claims the downpub noise，flaud reply it will stop at 12pm，actually until 3am. Its Sad
• Tara (6/5): great location but very nosiy at night - excellent location, close to the main street, good value for money too noisy at night, music comes from several different clubs, including the pub that is in the hotel lobby, also breakfast is really bad, just an egg and a few other things given on a plate every single day
• Parnian (8/5): Nicely decorated hotel in a super vibrant area - The location was great! Just keep in mind that asmali mescit it one of the most vibrant allies in the istiklal Street, and therefore, very noisy at night. You would love it if you're a party person and like bar crawling (like us!) or get back to your room after midnight, but if you have difficulty sleeping or wish to go to sleep early, this isn't the place for you! There is a small supermarket that is open till very late and another carrefour within a few steps. The sishane metro station is just across the street (2 minute walk!), and you can easily explore the beyoglu District on foot Our room was bigger than the standard size of central istanbul hotels and had a nice design and decoration. The room was clean, and they had room service every day who cleaned the room, topped up the toiletries and towels (except for our last night - they said you're checking out tomorrow, so no fresh towel for you!) The breakfast was very basic and simple but enough - one boiled egg with some cheese and a few olives, small portions of jam and butter. So if you're looking for big portions of traditional Turkish breakfast, consider going out to have breakfast and skip the hotel breakfast. The staff are very nice with fair command of English - and responsive, of course, for the things that were under they control. They tried to accommodate all of our requests as best as they could. The air-conditioner didn't work for the whole time of our 6-day stay, which wasn't great. Thankfully, the temperature dropped a bit for the last few days in Istanbul, and we could survive the heat by leaving the window open overnight (but obviously with the noise...) The TV didn't have any audio. We didn't use it that much but noticed that it's mute all the time. I don't mind a dimmed room - I even think the room being a bit dark gave it nicer vibes and made it a bit more romantic. However, if you like very bright rooms, request one. That was not the case for room 43.
• Rebecca (6/5): Great shower, loud surroundings. - Hotel room itself was fine, bedding clean and bed comfortable. Shower was amazing, very powerful. Downside was the noise from the bar downstairs and the karaoke next door. Hadn't seen any mention of this when booking. Music loud through into early hours 0230am. However, if you sleep through anything or are likely to be out drinking until late. Its worth a stay as its right amongst the bars. Or perhaps, take earplugs. Worth it for the shower.

• Farhan (5/5): Mixed feeling - We got an upgrade and the suite is nice enough First day was terrible. We booked a room that looked completely different than what we got. Later we were compensated with a better room, which was good and clean but no air conditioner in both rooms.
• Trinidad (5/5): Passable - Location Music from outside too loud, couldn’t sleep Air conditioner was broken and never got fixed Hairdryer didn’t work

• Anastasia (5/5): BAR on the first floor - Good rooms, big beds Why no-one mentioned that there is a BAR on the first floor? The party would go on all night long, and corridors smell like cigarettes.
• SADIG (8/5): - I wish the AC was working. But overall I'm satisfied.
• Emmi (2/5): Very poor - Proximity to the Istiklala. The hotel is located above a noisy bar, at least on weekends, sleep is impossible. Cleanliness not up to normal turkish standards (generally quite high).
• Yakovlieva (3/5): Poor - The location is perfectly close to transport. The room was big. The room service is every day. Cosmetics, small water and coffee is provided every day. Breakfast is included in the price. The entrance to the hotel is inside a pub. There’s no one at the check-in desk a level above, just had to look for people, and the girl that met us didn’t speak English so only led us to the room - that’s ok. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned. We found dirty toilet paper (whether or not it was poop or some dark oil residue is a whole different question) and our „fresh“ white towels had marks. A man at the bar, who perhaps happened to be the hotel manager or just the one who spoke English (he didn’t introduce) tried to fix the problem, and changed the mentioned items for us. Other than that, the shower was leaking and the table in the bathroom would leave stains of age-old dust on clothes or towels that you leave to lay there while showering. The walls and floors inside shower seemed to have rust and mold. It’s quite loud at night. You’d hear music coming from a nearby disco bar. Wasn’t a really disturbing factor to us though, as we were tired after the day exploring the city. Breakfast is okay. Just don’t expect it to be a grandios Turkish breakfast. You get a plate with different items usually included into a Turkish breakfast and tea or coffee (that’s the thing you can choose). I believe it used to be a great hotel when they started operating, but now it definitely needs renovation. And at least a bit more friendliness.
• Ok-- (7/5): Good room for a few nights, loud at night - Location was convenient Very noisy. Bars downstairs right under the window are loud with music until 2am, the cigarette smoke goes up too. Breakfast is pretty bad. You get a plate covered with plastic with cut tomatoes, cheese and a basket of cheap bread with spreads.
