• Kimberly (10/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. It was in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was great as well. Our room was cleaned our second day. Really liked the outdoor area, however the door is hard to use once it’s already been closed. I would stay here again and I recommend it to anyone else.
• RIA KRISTEN (10/5): - Free bfast. Clean facility. Working internet. Free toiletries. Has rules and policies in place. Tenants keep to themselves. A lot of food establishments nearby. Good place for an overnight stay or being in transit. Just the smart lock sound is soo loud someone else in the building can decipher the lock code by listening consistently to the combination sound. Breakfast was plentiful and great coffee machine.

• Daniel (10/5): - The property was in the hear of Barcelona and within a 10 min walk from a metro station. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, although it may seem light for those used to heavier breakfasts.The rooms were nice and the complimentary slippers were a nice touch. I had to check in after hours and the staff provided detailed instructions that I was able to follow. The biggest downside is that there are some nightclubs nearby and their music is audible in the night. I was able to sleep though it, but light sleepers may have difficulty sleeping. Overall, I will definitely consider staying here again if I return to Barcelona.
• Mike (6/5): - The place was hard to find. Parking is not on site as advertised. 3 blocks away which is a nightmare with luggage! If you don't have a flyer from the hotel you pay full price too! Shower door coming off the rails. No breakfast or coffee until 830 which is useless to people traveling early. Would be nice to at least get a cup of coffee before hitting the road. I would pay more to stay at a better place. Staff was nice and place was clean. There was partying until 630 am. We had the window open (which let in a nice breeze) couldnt get AC to work. We didn't want to bother anyone so late in the evening. We didn't mind the noise as we think it's just part of being in a fun city the night before labor day and the football team did well. The sound of motorcycles, celebrations, music, fighting, and the singing all through the night was part of the experience.

• Steven (10/5): Great option at a great price - Blanc guesthouse was a great place to stay but hard to find the first time around. It’s has great access to many restaurants and public transportation. Since it’s not a hotel per se my room had loud music coming in from 10p-2a

• Karl (8/5): - Nice property. Good neighborhood, just out of the heavy touristy locations so it made it more normal and less crowded. Easily walkable to other area of the city.
• Gwendolyn (8/5): - Had a pleasant stay at Blanc Guest House. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was spotless and nice touches with complimentary water bottle and slippers. Location is quiet but quite a walk from the main tourist areas, although it is easy to navigate the public transport system - I found buses, from bus stops close by, were frequent, reliable and a better option than metro. The downsides of the guest house for me was the noisy air conditioning unit in the room and the repetitive breakfast. This wouldn’t be a problem if staying for one or two nights but for a weeks’ stay, it is tedious and lacks balance and nutrition. Cheese slices, processed chicken slices and salmi, granola, muffins, biscuits, pastries, cakes, chocolate roll, brioche, and white and brown bread plus a sparse fruit bowl. Young kids seemed to love the sugar overload breakfast but not the adults. Overall, I would recommend the guest house for a short stay but not a full week.

• RAJASEKHAR (8/5): Couple vacation stay - Had a comfortable stay for four nights. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous ( variety of pastries, bread, cheese, juice, fruits and coffees etc.). Staff was very helpful and courteous. Only issue is there’s only one shared bathroom for 10 guest rooms. Though we didn’t have any problem.. it could be sN issue for people getting up late. The guesthouse is bit farther from the subway /metro stations ( Diagonal). Difficult to walk if you have luggage.

I told them many times that I was unsure of the time as we had a lot of things in the air, but they asked about 5 times. There is a restaurant under the guesthouse that plays loud music until about 3 AM. I know this because it kept me awake each night. I understand this is a city, and there is nothing the property can do. However, it should be known. Pros: beautiful room! Very clean. Large room. Nice cakes and pastries for breakfast. Good location in the city. Bathroom was large for the city size.

Good location and plenty of restaurants nearby. Free coffee and cookies. Very well managed. Friendly staff. I stayed in room ten which has the disadvantage of the bubbling sound of an immersion heating water during the night. But overall a great 4 night stay.

Estacionar o carro (o que não recomendo em Barcelona mas no meu caso foi necessário) é complicado, visto que a rua tem um lado apenas para estacionar e está sempre cheio. Pagamos estacionamento vinculado ao hotel (15 euros por noite), estacionamento ao lado era 23 euros o dia.
• Valeria (6/5): A rip-off... - First the pros: great area, and the guesthouse is clean and nicely kept. But the problem is that it is definitely NOT worth what they charge: it is a premium hostel or bed and breakfast at the most, not a 150euros-a-night hotel. We stayed in a proper hotel the night before on the nicest part of Passeig de Gracia and paid 160 for a proper 3-star room. It is ridiculous that an Ikea-furnished flat, with no reception, a tiny lift, walls so thin that you can hear the toilet being flushed next door, and a less than basic breakfast charges these rates. Shop around and you'll find a much better place for the same money.

• angela (10/5): Perfect Barcelona Hideaway Hotel - This was the last stop on our European trip. I was a little dubious about this place but it turned out to be the best accommodation by far. Located just away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the tourist spots. The closest “hop on hop off” bus stop was about a 15 minute walk. There were lots of local bars and restaurants within the immediate area too. The hotel is very secure, located on the 2nd floor of an old Spanish building. Inside is very modern, it’s basic but perfect. You can help yourself to coffee and tea all day long and the breakfast was a nice touch. There’s an outdoor garden, which is where we ate breakfast, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Small guesthouse in a nice part of the city - This hotel is really just a guesthouse. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be like that. The rooms are really tiny and do not have bathrooms. There is one tiny bathroom for 8 rooms. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, but the walls are paper thin. We had a baby so it was a bit of an issue when the baby would cry at night. I definitely do not recommend this place if you have any children at all. Also, you have to climb a ton of stairs with no elevator and we had lots of luggage and a stroller so it was a bad way to arrive after traveling for almost 24 hours to get there. The breakfast was pretty good which was nice to have because finding food in Barcelona was actually quite challenging with all the Spanish hours. Overall this place was somewhere to sleep and that's all that matters really. I would probably not recommend this place to most people especially those who have kids.

• mumms1e (10/5): Small but very pleasant - Having never been to Barcelona before, we had no idea where to stay but looked at reviews and this one stood out for the price. It didn't disappoint. Location was as good as any we came across whilst there. We mainly used the metro and it was about 7-8 minutes walk from Diagonal. Room was very clean, as were the public areas. Breakfast choice was great considering the small number of guests catered for. I took my own coffee and used hot water from the machine as I find continental coffee bitter. There was no problem with this and the machine seemed to be available most of the time. We booked a room with private bathroom which was great and had shower gel, shampoo, shower caps, toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste. We suffered no noise, road or otherwise but can't speak for other rooms. I would go back.

• Nickolaas (10/5): Great place to stay! - I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, my room was comfortable & the breakfast was good. The Metro access is pretty close (10 minutes walk), and it's not much further to walk to some key sights like La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. The only negative is that noise inside the guesthouse does carry, so you're at the mercy of other guests being considerate. This wasn't an issue for me, but if someone was a light sleeper and went to bed early, that could be an issue. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay for the price.

I haven't stayed in a hostel/guest house this nice ever in my life. The rooms are a decent size. Good privacy. Kind people. I couldn't ask for something more. A+. My only complaint was that the wifi was extremely slow.

Having to share a bathroom with others can be a bother, but we were lucky that our schedule didn't overlap with the other room's guests. The hosts are polite just enough, but not too friendly. They made us feel like they were annoyed that we were hanging out in the room too much when they wanted to clean it.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, near Av. Diagonal. - Had thought I was getting a room with bathroom, but shared bath worked out okay. Beatrix is very accommodating. Place was spotless and breakfast was more than adequate to start day. Only complaint is it would have been nice to have had a chair in the room.
• Matt (8/5): Nice, low-cost option - The hotel is well kept (very clean and new looking) and has a nice and helpful staff. The included breakfast is nice given the cost of the room. The hotel is within a moderate walk of a metro station that connects to many popular tourist locations. The room is reasonable. The beds and pillows are ok; not anything special, but I slept fine. The one thing I will note is there is a discrepancy between the breakfast start time listed on the website (8:00) and the actual start time (8:30). For someone who likes to start the day early, this was a little annoying, especially given that I didn't find out about the later start time until I arrived.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a very nice B&B, very clean and relaxing. Breakfast is fine, although we've missed something "pure", for example some fruits, real coffee, but otherwise I'm not complaining. I recommend!
• Verified traveler (2/5): Clean room, but no running water available - There was no hot water on the final morning of my stay, so no chance to shower. Not good.
• George (10/5): Barcelona, Bed and Breakfast and Blanc - A really good atmosphere. The bathroom was rather snug but the shower was great. There were no English channels on the TV so we didn't use it - used the iPad instead. Barcelona has become a hit with us on this, our first visit. We had an issue regarding breakfast. We assumed, wrongly, that we had booked B&B but the special rate package turned out to exclude breakfast. We paid a supplement of 5 euros each, per day. The breakfast was the same every day. Still, we had a great 6 day break and would certainly return to Blanc, but probably without the breakfast.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay in the Gracia neighborhood! - The Blanc Guesthouse is a lovely spot close enough to all attractions but far enough from the busy tourist areas. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The room and facilities were very clean, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
• Joyce (8/5): Clean and pleasant B&B - We usually stay in a hotel so we did notice some differences ( Basic type furniture) but would consider hostels/B&B for future trips. Best experience was the Gaudi Pederas House at night ( we did both the day and night ), roof top laser show was great. Guell Park, harbour boat trip and Mont Juinc also good experiences. ( We went to Sagrada Familia on an earlier trip which is a MUST.) Mixed luck with meals.... Most expensive undercooked partner's steak so ask for "long cook" if you have steak anywhere.
• Melanie (10/5): A great place to stay! - Couple of days in Barcelona - a great place to be based to explore from! Only negative was the building was difficult to find as no external signage and truck to park outside while dropping off bags!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Barcelona City break - Our stay was very pleasant, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable but for both of us the pillows were a little flat so this affected our sleep. The breakfast was basic but nice and met our needs. The one draw back for us was that there was not a kettle in the room so you could only have a hot drink from the coffee machine until 9pm-may need to invest in a travel kettle! Hotel was well placed to access travel for all areas of the city. Would stay there again but would take my own pillow and kettle :-)
• Maria (8/5): Great location - Overall we were very happy with our experience here. The room was clean and adequate. Breakfast selection was fantastic and the food itself very pleasing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
• Anneke (8/5): Clean, small and good service - nice neighbourhood - Small but very nice place with friendly staff. We had a room with two single beds and a shared bathroom which was very closeby and only shared with one other room. Everything was very clean - I even saw them cleaning the bathroom several times on one day. We very much enjoyed the breakfast (fruits, breads, ham & cheese, cakes, muesli) out on the terrace and the staff were very helpful with any questions. The neighbourhood is not so touristy but we liked that. There are some nice places to eat closeby and we also liked to walk to the center of Gracia neighbourhood closeby where there are lots of nice restaurants and bars. If you prefer the Ramblas area the metro is about 10-15 min walk and then it is just 2 or 3 stops.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel with excellent service - The staff at Blanc guesthouse were extremely friendly and helpful. Danny opened the door for us immediately and helped us with our luggage. He provided us with information about our neighborhood, where to go eat or shop, and even provided a nice breakfast buffet each morning. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The location is convenient, very close to the taxi stop and train stations. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance as well. I would recommend this guesthouse for sure!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excelente! - Modern and clean hotel on the first floor of an apartment complex. The service and cleanliness was exceptional, and the room came with wifi and a great breakfast. Ask the staff for food recommendations, they really know their stuff. They also conveniently sell water for a reasonably price. Overall great location within a few minutes from Diagonal Ave. Would definitely stay here again!

• pam (8/5): Barcelona bed and breakfast - this was a very nice and quaint bed and breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful with maps. It is a good location for getting to the sights in Barcelona. breakfast was very nice and there is a relaxing patio out back. I strongly recommend that you asked to not be put into the room next to the bathroom as this was a disturbance in the morning and you do have to share with a couple of other rooms if that works for you.
