The room was a sanctuary for 3 of us with comfortable beds and super insulation from the cold weather and noise of the streets. - Carol (10/5): - My husband and I were there for a milestone birthday. It was our first time in Europe. I did not want to stay in the City Centre as we wanted a more local experience. This hotel and neighbourhood did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and safe. The staff went above and beyond to resolve any issues we came across. The owner, Nicolai, was nothing short of charming. The rooms were wonderful, the shower was incredible. I could go on and on but you really need to see for yourself.
- Hagop (6/5): - Average Parisian boutique hotel. Does the job. A bit far from metro for my liking though (8-10 min). If you do end up there, try the eclair from the nearby boulangeries, one if the best I’ve had.

Comfy room, clean, good facilities (hairdryer, kettle, tea). Only disappointment was the eco friendliness, we hung towels to reuse but they will still replaced and toilet roll was replaced when only half used.

- Gina (10/5): Boutique That Lives Up To the Name - Wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely ‘real’ neighborhood. Charming! Very friendly staff and a highly commendable dedication to being green. Room was very comfortable and done in a cool decor.
- Deborah (4/5): - The pictures online did not match the property. It was a long way to the tourist sites. We had to take 2 metro lines every day to access the City’s attractions. There was no phone, coffee or tea in the room so we had to go down 6 floors to get anything. They had the smallest elevator I have ever seen so we had to make 2 trips to transport luggage. We did not feel safe in the neighbourhood. The experience was a disappointment

Breakfast (not included in room cost) is good Location is super convenient and in an amazing neighborhood with awesome restaurants, galleries, bars, record stores, etc Cons: Room had some misc damages (cracks in mirrors, some broken fixtures) Limited control over heating and cooling They do not accept Amex on site (more and more places in Paris accept) Street around property was having work done so was hard to navigate with bulky luggage

- Verified traveler (8/5): not worth it even on a budget - We booked this hotel because for the price it had decent reviews. As far as location goes, it’s fine. It’s a little east of the main parts of the city but easy access on metro. We stayed there during winter and was near impossible to get the room warm and keep it warm. Thus, sleeping was difficult even though the bed was large and comfortable. The shower was also nice and strong. Biggest complaint is breakfast. They made it seem like it was included in your stay but was actually €12 per person for a small croissant and either extremely runny eggs or way to overcooked scrambled. If budget is your only concern then you may be fine, but I would rather spend a bit more on a different hotel for a more comfortable stay.

It was a cute boutique hotel with an incredible area of offerings. Within a 5 minute walk, you wouldn’t have to leave the area for a week! Many boulangeries, many brasseries, incredible food! We cannot express more about how happy we were with our stay. We will be back!

- Eydritt (6/5): - The hotel was clean and nicely decorated but is more about looking cool than customer convenience. For the price paid per day it doesn't match what you pay for. There was eg no wardrobe and hardly any storage to hang your clothes up, the ironing board was a tiny cheap Ikea one to put on your bed, there was no fridge and the design was more about what looks cool than user-friendly eg there not being enough hooks in the bathroom or the room to hang things up on. Don`t bother paying for the breakfast it was just bread, a small amount of cheese and yoghurt and small croissants - much nicer places just around the corner.

Loved the aesthetics of the room and the small touches such as herbal tea, activated charcoal in the water, and the waterfall shower head. Tiny elevator, but never busy. Easy communication with the front desk.

- Michael (10/5): Fabulous hotel near the Marais - This hotel is an absolute gem of a property. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. The hotel's breakfast was an absolute delight and was definitely above and beyond with delicious chia seed pancakes. The room itself was immaculately clean, with a full-sized bathroom and triple-glazed windows completely insulating the room from street noise. The filtered water and herbal tea was also nice touch. Location near the Marais was also perfect. I'm usually not inclined to review my hotel stays, but the fabulous staff and the excellence of the property inspired me to write this review!

Some things were a bit poor quality like window handles and didn’t work properly in room 52. Also, I would suggest to have some currency onsite to help your visitors break the bills upon request. - T (10/5): Great quirky but comfy hotel in a great location - Nice quirky place in walking distance to multiple metro stations - great for transport, but also located in my favourite area of Paris with loads of great restaurants and bars at your doorstep. Unfortunately not everything was working - my Chromecast didn't work and apparently all of the tablets that were provided in the rooms were off for repair... but I don't care, these thing are secondary and it still deserves top marks. I appreciated the little touches like a charcoal-filtered water jug in the room, so you don't have to go and buy plastic bottles. WiFi was fast, bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well... what more can I say. I'll be back!
- William (8/5): Paris hotel - Hotel was quaint and quiet in a so-so neighborhood. Located fairly close to a subway stop, so easy to get around the city. I’m not sure I’d want to be out in the neighborhood after dark.

The room was comfortable and clean but the only thing missing was a fridge. The staff were polite and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a selection of beautiful cheeses and bread! The scrambled eggs were also delicious. The area was perfect too. Located next to several Metro stops and out of the tourist area, I really felt like one of the locals.

Area was away from the the touristy area but access to public transport was easy and made it possible to get anywhere in Paris quickly. - Ole J (10/5): A Surprising gem - This is a cute 3 star hotel in a not so touristy section of Paris. I had actually booked this hotel for that reason and I was not disappointed. The hotel itself is on a side street that is not busy which makes it wonderfully quiet in the evening when you're ready to sleep. It has a very small but inviting reception area... The most inviting part of which is actually the management. And by management I mean, Ijlal Jarid. She runs this boutique hotel as if it were her own largish Bed and Breakfast. With a huge smile and a delightful character there seems to be nothing that is out of the way for her to do for her guests. She is a jewel. My room #12, which is on the street, was quiet, smallish (one gets smallish rooms in Paris) and well equipped with plenty of lighting and unique nightlights for reading that are incorporated into the headboard itself and flip out in almost any direction one might want. A very nice surprise was the Samsung Note which provided access to various entertainment apps, the weather and recommendations for restaurants and spas. Other things appreciated as a traveler were the very comfortable bed, plenty of USB outlets, easy access to a wall plug for your computer at the desk and the Wi-Fi worked well for me both in my room and in the restaurant. The bathroom was conveniently organized and large enough with plenty of shelf space for my toiletries. I would absolutely book here again. No photos since I'm checking out and my room a mess

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I absolutely love this hidden gem with a genuine Parisian ambiance! I love that the dining room had a cosy, Parisian coffee shop type of decor with soft music playing, free coffee and tea and free croissants all day. The breakfast is amazing and the staff super helpful, friendly and speaks English. They are even mailing a stuffed rabbit I forgot to the US for me! The rooms are smart with a rainfall shower, safe and USB plugs, and the hotel is conveniently located between three Metro stops. That makes it easy to get to all the tourist attractions and not have to stay nearby. I love experiencing the true Paris, so I loved that I saw more Parisians than tourists in the area. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Love this place!

- Deionna (10/5): Beautiful, cozy hotel in a great neighborhood! - We really enjoyed our stay!! It was a very well-kept hotel, clean, friendly staff, and our room was not small at all. The only "con" I can even think about is the fact that it was on a small street that was pretty much abandoned. The staff, especially Ryan, was so helpful and very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
- Gerardo (10/5): - This is my third time in Paris and this hotel by far is much better than any previous hotels. Great location (line 3 - Parmenter metro), lively neighborhood. Great amenities, like an awesome shower (best I’ve experienced in Europe), free WiFi, nice t.v. With basic English channels, also Spanish, Portugués, Italian and so on. The icing on the cake is their complimentary breakfast along with the friendliness of the staff.

- Sarah (8/5): 3 Night Stay in Paris - My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Paris. The place appears to be primarily a restaurant and secondarily a hotel. Due to an early flight, we got in before our check in time. They stored our luggage while we explored the city. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute walk between either the Menilmontant and the Couronnes Metro stations. The area around the hotel is not great - dirty, sketchy people and dimly lit streets in the evenings - but it's okay for it's value and distance to the Metro. The room itself was small - bed, two side tables, dresser, rod for hanging clothes and a small bathroom BUT we were able to control our own air conditioning which was nice. The bed was comfortable, WiFi was fast and it had an elevator. Breakfast in the morning was tasty - pastries, bread, jam, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, cereal and fruit and we had free access to the coffee machine at all hours. The hotel staff were difficult to come by and were frequently away from the small lobby doing other tasks. They called a cab for us and it arrived promptly the next morning.

At checkin i was charged for the room even though i had already paid with Expedia. I got refunded no problem but lost money in the exchange. Was close to metro so we could get to anything we wanted to see and the hotel had free maps.
- Anita (8/5): A Very Chic Boutique Hotel - A very chic boutique hotel with friendly and helpful English-speaking staff in a not-so-desirable, run-down local street. But don’t let the location turn you off. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable after the initial “shock”, and appreciated the local feel of the area, its closeness to Marais and Bastille and easy walk to a Metro station and local bus stop for access to the rest of Paris. There are also several small restaurants, shops and a laundromat close by for convenience.
- USA (8/5): - Staff was very nice and accommodating. Answered all our inquires and very helpful during our stay. Room size was small but very clean. Included breakfast was a bonus and was adequate with a moderate variety of offerings. AC worked great during our stay which was during the Paris heat wave. Elevator was small but nice to have as we stayed on a top floor. Location was good - near the metro and cafes of various ethnicities. Price was good for Paris.

- Laura (10/5): Perfection near lots of restaurants and transit - We stayed for 3 nights in June and this was our first trip to Paris. This hotel doesn’t look like much from the street but the room was beautiful. The corridor is really tight but I think that’s just Paris. It had a wireless tablet that had YouTube and Netflix in the room. Quiet, excellent air conditioning and a beautiful shower. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner! Also local restaurants and things to do were loaded onto the tablet. The bed was super comfy and felt more like a king and there were several USB outlets in the headboards.

Tea / coffee facilities in room would have been nice, went down twice in evening to dining area to make tea but no hot water available. A good base if visiting Paris.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel in a great location. - We arrived at 9:30 am after 14 hours of travel and the staff were able to provide us a room as soon as we arived, which we were very thankful for and provided some much needed rest. Throughout our stay the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located in a neighborhood with a growing art scene, and there is plenty of night life around the hotel. The area also provides a much more authentic side of Paris if that is what you prefer. I would not recommend this hotel if you do not enjoy being around a busy night life. Overall great experience for our our stay.

And the breakfast needs a lot of work. I was there 4 days and all 4 days it was the exact same thing and very minimal. That would be my biggest suggestion.

Little bit lacking in storage, so we just kept our clothes in our packs and hung a few things. The dining area downstairs was a great place to bring our snacks and strategize our sight-seeing. The staff spoke English and kept the hotel very clean. I loved all the decorations!
