À fuir Le réceptionniste était mal poli… On nous a donné la mauvaise chambre et après on a bataillé pour avoir la chambre qu’on avait payé. En plus de ça ils voulaient nous scam par rapport à un drap tâché. Je laisse 2 étoiles seulement parce que la jeune réceptionniste était aimable et nous a permis de laisser nos bagages à la réception, contrairement à son collègue…

- Melissa (7/5): Good - Well, it’s in the middle of old quarter and our room is in the inner part so it’s quiet and peaceful Molds on the corner walls.
- Vi (3/5): The worst - We checked in, paid immediately by cash and the receptionist said they did not have small money to return, then they said they did not have enough money for full returning, so just accepted it. The value things as hotel said need to leave in safety box however we could not use because it did not work even the staffs already came and tried. Staffs said we should not be worried, no stolen was there. But if our value things lost, who would be responsible? Bath towel was torn, how could hotel provide a torn towel to customers? Fridge was unstable on the surface (or we should be the one who check it before using?!) that occurred our coca spilled on the floor and we must clean what we had the nearest, hand towel. And hotel charged 100.000vnd for the hand towel, how it is possible!!!

Most things are fine with me. I think this is the best hotel in central Hanoi. My room is quite far from the wifi modem so I can't connect to the wifi signal, it's not good. You should use your carrier's mobile data because the wifi signal here is very poor.

They have great facilities, and the staff were friendly and hospitable. The hotel is walking distance to the lake. We hope that the hotel will offer water dispensers instead of water bottles for environment purposes. Moreover, the space between the bed and the bathroom door was too narrow.

- Takashi (10/5): Actually I had a very good stay - The location of the Hotel is very close to the club street. Nevertheless I heard no massive noises out there. It is quite convenient to get access to main touristic attractions and you will have a good touch with the old quarter. The receptionist who was in charge then can speak English and a bit Japanese. For my personal criterion I think it's okay but some may perceive that the bathroom is not clean. Also, some renovations were in progress then, so if you wish to sleep later, probably you will hear it to some extent if it doesn't get done yet.

Someone walked into our room and woke us up in the morming, the fact that their card could be used on our room thats terrible! If we werent in there, they could of easily nicked our passports or any of our belongings. My partner felt very uneasy being there, we managed to get a refund on 1 night but i would of rather them cancelled our stay whilst we were there, refunded and we could of chose a nicer place. Loud, noisy staff working in the kitchen down below! Cheap and working on a budget doesn't always work guys, it's cheap enough to treat yourselves in vietnam.

The room was really lacking some air and natural light since it had no windows. Corridors were super loud and you could hear everything that's going on outside. No breakfast option which would've been nice.

- Boris (5/5): Passable - Wi fi and tv is good Staff gave us whatsapp number, and thet only read the message, but no reply. Insted of free airport shuttle, they asked 17$ for pick up. Very bad in english. There is also restraurant in hotel, but they are serving only 1 type of breakfast. Do not waste money on it, eat on street.

The rooms are very very small, and to mention windows on the pictures - don’t expect fresh air, the windows are not facing the street! If only we knew, we wouldn’t stay here. The cleanliness is debatable. The water in the shower is either freezing cold or burning! We burned ourselves a couple times and 2 rooms had to share one bathroom cause the other room had only cold water. The “rooftop” was a huge disaster.

They paid back the money, but first they said 70.000 VND/day/person, and we got back only 50.000 VND/day/person. I see that it is Tet now, but this accomodation was booked many month ago and nobody talked about the "breakfast vanished"...

- Jantienm (3/5): Our short advice: book somewhere else! - Maybe we were unlucky, but there were too many things wrong with our room to give a positive review. So our short advice would be: book somewhere else! - our room (1st floor) had no functioning window, only a ventilation shaft that is shared with the restaurant downstairs, so the food smells where very dominant throughout the day - bathroom still had (a lot of) hairs from the previous guests on the toilet, shower and vanity. And when asked to clean again, a member of staff used a piece of toilet paper to gather the hairs and told us everything was clean now. - the restaurant downstairs is very noisy and woke us up in the morning or kept us awake at night - the walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbours conversation word for word. - the room was tiny, so our stuff was scattered across the floor. - only positive thing is the location, but that's not enough to book, please go somewhere else!

- Marc (8/5): friendly staff but noisy neighbourhood - The Staff was great, always a smile and absolutely friendly and helpful and is absolutely my favorite part of the hotel. the room had a slick look and was clean, albeit the interior is in its midlife, so not brand new, even thought it might look that way on first glance. the AC works great even as a heater, albeit is a bit loud the location could not be better in terms of being close to the party and attractions, but this also comes with some drawbacks. the internet works fine albeit can be challenging slow at times. Sadly i have not tried to food so no judgment about that. what normal travelers will like the best part about the hotel is also the worst. the location made it so that i had sound and noise all the time. there were people partying until 1am and it started again at 6am (though only for an hour, sadly after that the drilling started again, which was alos present at midnihgt.) So all in all i got about 4 to 5 hours of sleep. there is a second problem in that one window is into the hotel hallway, while this is no problem in terms of people looking inside since its an opaque glass, the lights in the hallway need to be on 24/7 and the only thing stopping the light is a thi curtain thingy. either way your room will be quite bright all night. aside from those two things i actually have nothing that could be counted as not good.

- Mariusz (9/5): Nice hotem in Old quarter - Good price, in the old quarter, friendly and helpful staff, they met us leave the suitcase with them during 2-3 days that we went to Sapa. Shower had only super hot water or very cold, no in the middle. The rooms have window onto the corridor, so no ventilation nor natural light at all. However the bathroom fan was working well and a/c in the room too.
- Lili (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fun. The room was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for a month and a half, and was totally comfortable and well taken care of. My room was freshened up and provided with clean towels every single day, The staff was superb, professional and proficient, and attentive to my every need. The building needs work, but it is modern and well kept up by a good maintenance team. The only drawback was a weak WiFi as the router was dated and ancient. I will be coming back. The WiFi service was weak. They need to update their equipment.

Very close to several restaurants, and great street food. Beer street was also very close. We expected to have a window, or a view outside but didn't have that. Was a bit upset about that. Also, a discount at your restaurant for guests would be a nice touch!

The breakfast was horrible, you had to let them in advance what you want for breakfast (2 options) and what time you will be having breakfast so no room for flexibility. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It looked nothing like the pictures.
