Nathan (6/5): Great location. - Location was great, being so close to so many good places to eat and things to see makes it a great home base for when in London. I'd recommend this location to people to stay, especially ones their upgrades are complete. Only issue I found was they had construction and this was not disclosed upon booking or before arrival. There were times I'd try to sleep in, but jack hammering and all would disturb me being able to get the rest I needed.

Betty (7/5): All in all, we had a good time because we were there to see the sites and made the best of it, but the accommodations co - There’s a nice park in front of the hotel and The Location was ok It was under construction but I think they’re closing and no one tells you that when you’re booking so be aware . The walls are as thin as paper so you could hear the guests on floor above thumping around like if they had elephants up there. Had I been told about the construction, the noise and the crappy Wi-Fi I would not have stayed there. They bamboozled me don’t let it happen to you.

Mohammad (4/5): - Pleasant staff, great location, and the hotel itself was clean, but unfortunately this was my first and probably last stay here. I booked and paid for the stay through Booking.com, and I understand the standard £50 security hold at check-in (i checked in online). I used my card and everything appeared to go through fine, only to then receive an email at 4am saying there were issues with the card due to insufficient funds. Later, I was told it had actually gone through or was being handled by a “third party,” which already caused unnecessary confusion and stress during a work trip. Then at checkout, everything seemed smooth until I left the hotel and checked my bank account, only to find I had been charged twice for my stay. So what should have been around €440 + the £50 hold for a 2-night stay has now become roughly €880 + £50 taken from my account. I’ll let people draw their own conclusions from that. The staff were polite and apologetic, but that doesn’t really help when you’re told the refund could take several days or even a week depending on the bank. Having that amount of money unexpectedly tied up while travelling home is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. The only positives were the location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, the payment issues and overall chaos completely ruined the experience for me, and I don’t think this is somewhere I’d stay again. Addendum: Fathima from the hotel has since reached out personally and apologised for the situation, which I do appreciate and was very kind of her. The staff throughout my stay were genuinely polite and professional, so thank you to them. Unfortunately though, despite the apology, the inconvenience and stress caused by the payment handling situation still remains.

The hotel was very clean, well serviced, staff very polite and the room spacious, with a small kitchenette. A clean and good size bathroom. Highly recommend! Wasim (7/5): Everything you need, except silence. - I had a good impression of this hotel the moment I arrived a few hours early to drop off my bags. The gentleman who assisted me (a French speaker of South Asian origin - I never quite catched his name) was absolutely superb, and remained so throughout my stay. The room itself was a little dated (it would have been first-rate in 2009), but for functional purposes it had everything I needed (I especially loved the reading light above the couch). The pillows were extremely soft (perhaps excessively so), but the mattress felt like a cloud. Housekeeping were also excellent in keeping things tidy, including my night clothes. The location of this hotel meant that I could come and go multiple times a day without taking too many tube stops to get there (for location, this hotel is almost perfect), and there was an excellent cafe a minute’s walk away. To sum up, this hotel ranks somewhere between a luxury hotel and a Premier Inn. Not withstanding all the positives mentioned, the main drawback to my stay - and perhaps a dealbreaker for any future stays at this particular location - was the lack of soundproofing in the room, which disturbed me on my final night. Not only could I hear quite a lot of what was going on in the hallway, I could also hear a child in the next room screaming at the top of his lungs almost constantly (his parents seemed to have loud voices too). It was intolerable. I used the phone in the room to call the front desk twice, but nobody answered. I then got out of bed (this was around 9-10pm), lugged myself to the ground floor, and reported the issue to the person on duty, who politely said he would send someone up to have a look. The screaming died down a little, but it felt awful having to go down and report the family who I am sure were just having a good time. I felt glad I had only booked the hotel for 2 nights, as any further noise would have been torturous. If you are sensitive to noise, I (disappointingly) do not recommend staying at this hotel. It is fair to assume that a hotel would make soundproofing an absolute priority, but this sadly isn’t the case here. At one point I could even hear the person in the room above me walking around. Although I will probably not stay at this hotel again for the reason mentioned, I still nonetheless think there is very great potential here - if they fix the soundproofing, I’ll return.

Henriette Dalby (10/5): Vi har haft et fantastisk dejlig ophold der - og kommer gerne igen. - Hotellet ligger centralt mellem Covent Garden og British Museum, så man kan gå eller tage offentlig transport til alt. Der gives en super service af de ansatte. Og ens forespørgsler løses straks. Det er dyrt at bo der, men man får noget for pengene. Nogle større værelser har køkkenfaciliteter med kogeplader, køkkenvask, køleskab samt lille spisebord (a larger kitchenette). Det var dejligt at have efter en lang dags oplevelser i London. Så vi gik sjældent ud og spiste aftensmad, når vi først var kommet hjem. Og der ligger to supermarkeder rundt om hjørnet, hvor vi købte ind. Håber, de beholder disse larger kitchenetter efter renoveringen, det er medvirkende til, at vi bor netop der. Hotellet er ved at blive 100% renoveret - og vil genopstå til efteråret 2026 under et nyt navn “Webster”. Men vi hørte ingen støj, og oplevede ingen gener fra håndværkerne i de 14 dage, vi boede der. Mødte blot folk i støvet arbejdstøj en gang i mellem. Alle inkl. håndværkerne på hotellet er meget venlige og åbne overfor gæsterne. Vi boede ud til parken overfor hotellet, en dejlig udsigt. Der er ingen café/restaurant, men det kommer der efter renoveringen.

La piazza stessa dell’hotel è un gioiello, ricca di storia da scoprire. Purtroppo per lavori di ristrutturazione non era disponibile alcun servizio di ristorazione. Forniscono voucher per colazione in un pub vicino, ma la scelta è molto limitata.

LYNDSEY (6/5): Nice location, clean & comfortable room; price didn't reflect the current renovation works ongoing. - The location is lovely, nice and quiet and opposite the park. The room was clean and comfortable and the maid was very friendly. Staff were thoughtful and I appreciated the coffee machine and availability of water & re-usable bottles for guests. I would be happy to return when the building works are complete. It's a shame that the hotel was undergoing renovation works that I wasn't made aware of at the time of booking, nor after booking. I hadn't booked breakfast as I intended to decide each morning whether to eat in or not, but on arrival it became clear that there were no facilities for breakfast and, sadly, no bar to enjoy a drink in either. The building works on arrival on Friday were extremely noisy and they caused some disruption to the lifts and some smoke/dust related issues in my room on the 6th floor, which was next to the 'smoke door'. Before I had chance to mention this to staff (I was rushing off to a prior commitment), when I returned to my room later that day they had left a bottle of wine by way of an apology, which was appreciated, so thank you for your thoughtfulness. Obviously renovations for future improvement can't be helped but I think the price should have reflected the disruption and the lack of facilities. If I am in the area again, I would return to this hotel (only after completion of the building works!), as the location is nice, the staff did their best to work around the disruption and my room was comfortable and clean.

No hubo ninguna informacion al reservar, ni con anterioridad a la llegada. El desayuno daban un voucher para ir a un pub a unos 400 metros. Muy incomodo tener que desplazarse y el sitio era oscuro y no tenia ni la variedad ni la calidad en los productos que hay en un hotel de 4 estrellas.

El desayuno no se ofrece en el hotel y el espacio que se sugirió para cambiar vales que nos dieron no cumplió nuestras expectativas. No había fruta cereales o leche. Dejamos la mayoría de los vales en la habitación y tuvimos que buscar opciones por nuestra cuenta y pagar aparte.

Christine (3/5): Stay clear of this hotel if you want the whole experience of a nice room and breakfast. - The property was ideally located, close to all amenities and very central for everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and comfortable and as an added bonus we were given a complimentary bottle of wine as it was my husband’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The housekeepers were exceptional. I booked this property specifically as I could have breakfast included. On check-in we were told due to refurbishment there were no restaurant facilities and therefore could not provide breakfast. They did however give us £10 per person, per night, in the form of a gift voucher for a local Wetherspoons pub. I wasn’t happy about this but accepted that these things happen. However on presenting the vouchers on the first morning at the Wetherspoons, we were informed they had not been activated and therefore we could not use them. Three different bar staff all informed us they were not aware of this. To say I was upset and embarrassed by this was an understatement. We paid for our breakfast, which was lovely and left. On going back to the hotel the receptionist informed us that were activated and therefore staff should have ‘just scratched off the silver strip to get the number’. He offered to refund £60 to our bill if we brought all six cards down. This hotel management completely missed the point of booking a hotel with breakfast included. If I’d wanted to eat breakfast in Wetherspoons, I could have stayed home and done this. In the process I would have saved myself a whole lot of money. The receptionist apologised and informed us that they had requested head office to remove the facility for customers to book breakfast during the refurbishment, however this has been declined! I would not recommend this hotel to others and would actively encourage paying customers not to book it if they want the whole experience of a nice hotel with a nice breakfast.

Provision of vouchers by hotel for foodstuff/drinks due to closure of facilities for refurbishment appreciated. Can’t think of anything

Adriana (7/5): Estadia razoável, no entanto bastante cara - Disponibilizam água filtrada e garrafas reutilizáveis, microondas e a localização do hotel também estava bastante boa. Quarto muito pequeno, com janela pequena, virada para o interior do hotel, quase sem luz natural.

Mark (7/5): Average at best - Central location Room was dark, not much natural light. Breakfast offsite (but close) and hotel generally felt more like a quality serviced room rather than a hotel experience. Personal choice but not for us. Had a few issues with items not working in room, took several calls to reception to get them fixed. Staff only really provide a check in service, after that service was very much lacking.

agustin (5/5): Desayuno inexistente dentro del hotel - El alojamiento estaba bien, pero lo anunciaron con desayuno y al llegar nos dijeron que no tenían (solo café y té) y te daban un vale por 10 libras en un restaurante cercano (nota, en Londres el café sale 4 libras aprox, por lo que te puedes permitir un desayuno bastante pobre). Decidimos utilizar el crédito en una cena la última noche, la comida era muy mala. Elegimos específicamente el hotel por el desayuno y que nos gusta desayunar en el hotel y nos defraudó
