F5179PUmarym (2/5): Not necessarily honest - We booked this hotel for one night via Bookng. The date was incorrect and I didn't notice until the day before. I had the hotel I was staying at in Hiroshima contact the hotel to let them know we wouldn't be there at that date and to see if we could change it to the following night. They advised I would need to do this via Booking as well as cancel via Booking. I did this but my card was still charged for the night we cancelled. We arrived the following evening where I asked the person at reception about this. I was again advised it had to be through Booking. The kne good thing I can say about the accommodation is that it is close to Dotonbori. The rooms were very small (usual for Japan) and cleanliness was questionable. As we were staying with family, we booked 2 rooms next to each other. It was interesting to see how quick they were to respond to messages prior to our visit but only ghosted after when trying to get our money back. Booking has not allowed me to write a review on its sight which I find interesting. Over our 3 week trip to Japan, this was easily the worst hotel we stayed at and due to paying for it twice, was also the most expensive. Dodgy businesses leave a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid if you feel the same way.

They said it is higher through booking.com but I was too tired to cross check and accepted their extra amount for a room for 3 people. Because of that I will not stay there again it was annoying

We have kids and we got 2nd floor, and I was like, gosh it gonna be noisy, quite surprisedly, it's super quiet at night, we didn't hear any noise. Well, the staff there I didn't see they smile at all, don't feel they care much, just another tourist to them, is like we arrange the room for you, get your key and sleep, so even with great location etc, I am not sure I'd like to be back there if we visit Osaka again. Yes, we are aware the beds are small, but when you are there, and yeah, they are really small... otherwise the room is not bad though.
La (1/5): It is my top 1 poorest customer service I saw in Japan hotel industry!!! Very bad and unacceptable e - Nothing Inaccurate description about parking Lot!! It is not "private" at all which users need to walk 5 mins to get to the parking lot which is open to public users!! Bad attitude of front line check in staff. When I arrive hotel at near 3pm, I approached the check in staff and ask nicely by saying excuse me and ask if can I have parking lot please. The female staff rolled her eyes and said no parking lot in this hotel! Only after I said this hotel description on Booking.com says another story, she pull out a paper and said rudely "follow the instruction on the paper, 6 mins driving away". I thought it was a single incident, but then when I return at 3:30 pm after parking my car, I saw her also talking rudely to other overseas customers during normal check in process. It is my top 1 poorest customer service I saw in Japan hotel industry!!! Very bad and unacceptable experience!!

The staff at the front desk said it is hotel policy to provide one bed for 2 children. This is terrible! We would never booked this hotel if we knew they could not accommodate a family of four!

Ces (9/5): Great location, near dotonbori - Very near subway entrance. There is an elevator access from the underground shopping area very near the entrance. Taxis are also available outside. Its very near dotonbori so shopping and restaurants are very accessible. They serve coffee and juice in the afternoon in the lobby. The more mature staff at reception waa very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The rooms are clean. There is a family mart by the entrance. I like this hotel although it seems a little dated the location and staff make up for it. The lobby is a bit dark.
