• vincenzo (7/5): Buon soggiorno in una città bellissima, consiglio. - La signora Shaila molto gentile, ci ha dato dei buoni per la colazione in un bar antistante, la posizione permette di arrivare al centro anche a piedi, di fronte vi è un grande supermercato dove poter prendere qualsiasi cosa e vi e' un giardinetto dove poter la sera prendere un po di aria fresca. La stanza nei particolari andrebbe migliorata pur nn essendo male, esempio il cesto dove poggiare il sapone andrebbe cambiato, la pulizia potrebbe essere migliore seppur sufficiente in linea generale, basterebbe fare un po di attenzione nei particolari, il B&b è situato al secondo piano senza ascensore ma questo nn dipende dalla struttura.
• Simona (8/5): in conpenso è andato tutto bene c'è di peggio - camera molto comoda e che in corridoi era dotato di tutto l'indispensabile per farsi da mangiare anche a pranzo a cena con un forno microonde due frigoriferi e stoviglie che ad un certo orario di notte il riscaldamento venga spento però nell' armadio ci sono coperte e plaid di scorta da prendere e che era al terzo piano senza ascensore

Все працювало добре. До центру десь 20 хв пішки. Дуже насичений запах "ароматизатору/пахучки" в загальному проході. Особисто я такі не переношу. Ковдра була вся у плямах, її потрібно вже замінити.

• Leigh (10/5): - The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were pristine. We had no trouble navigating into the center by bus. All in all, we would stay here again were we to return to Florence.
• Sarbjit (2/5): - The property has so much potential but its been neglected. Everything is old and in poor condition. There is no cleaning except for the day you check in. The communal areas were never cleaned. The garbage in the kitchen was smelling really bad by the time we left.
• Larisa (8/5): The B&B is a nice and clean accommodation which is within 20 Minutes walking distance from the city center and run b - The B&B is very close to the city center. In 20 Minutes you are at Ponte Vecchio or you are able to take any bridge before that and cross the Arno to the other side. The staff is very nice and always ready to help and adjust you have any wishes. The accommodation was nice and clean. You have to bear in mind that the B&B is in an old building so you can hear some noises from the neighbours. The B&B has no parking places so you have to search some free ones in the vicinity or pay to park in the garage.

• Pat (10/5): - We loved this spot. Shaila was a fantastic host. The suite was clean and beautiful with a lovely view from the balcony where we had our coffee each day. We walked everywhere including right into downtown and beyond. Highly recommend 1900Artevita for anyone traveling to Florence.

La proprietaria è gentilissima e super disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

The recommendations for places to order food, public transport, etc were very useful also. Overall, very pleasant place to stay with good location to the historical center. • Michael (9/5): Firenze Rocks mini break & sights of Florence - The room was so nice and clean, including floors. The bathroom was compact but again fully functional and clean. Lovely crisp bedding. Large wardrobe to hang up clothes and store baggage. The host was very welcoming on arrival and a text away if there were any issues (none). l liked the coffee and water facilities to use outside the room, which was well stocked. We were there for the festival primarily but spent a few days seeing sights in Florence, which was about 25min walk along the riverbank. We also pre booked galleries and museums to cut down on queues. Lots of information in the welcome pack relating to transport or take away food, check in and out, and how to use the ac and tv. Could not hear other residents staying in the accommodation. View from the balcony was lovely of town square where a market is held several days a week. Shops and restaurants are close by so good choice of food and drinks. Our room had a lovely balcony to sit out and look over the town square. However, traffic is very busy, so noisy at peak times. Had to keep the balcony door closed at night to reduce noise. However, don't be put off by this as it's just a preference to allow airflow. A-C is great and keeps room cool.

• rak2023 (2/5): Don't stay here unless you get the room for $100 with fees. - For what you get this is one of the most terrible places I have stayed in Italy. It should not be called a bed and breakfast. When we got there from the US there was no one there when we got there at 8pm and no information on the door!!!!! The only reason I got in was because we ran into someone else who was staying here and gave the owner's information. It seems like it used to be a good place in the past until 2018 and was bought by someone else. This should be listed for at the most $100 not the $200 we paid with fee and taxes per night. It is a simple but clean but for the same price we paid, we got wonderful places in Venice and Rome with full breakfasts. Please don't stay here. It's more like a Super 8 hotel room.

• Kaghast (10/5): Exceptional - A place where you can stay safely. If you are going somewhere for the first time, the place you will stay is significant. The hosts are very kind and attentive. It was a great chance for us to stay here in Florence. Because we forgot a valuable bag, they waited for us for days and protected it. They are OUR HERO! They are extraordinary people! It's not just a bad word, it's a big mistake to even think about it. Much more than just accommodation.

• Ian (10/5): - Great location, the room and facilities were very clean and cozy. The common area had an espresso machine and purified water and snacks. The host Shaila was very friendly and hospitable and presented us with gifts and useful information upon arrival. There was a balcony in our room with an excellent view of the lush neighborhood. The building was minutes away from the various bridges that lead into downtown and the famous Pegaso bakery was just around the corner. Highly recommended, we had a great time in Florence at the 1900 Artevita, thanks again for everything!
• Michele (9/5): Great location for all kinds of visiting. - Its location in a quieter neighbourhood and its proximity to restaurants and buses as well the ability to walk to the city centre. We could walk to one of the stops on the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. The balcony was a nice surprise. All the amenities on site: shared refrigerator, dishes, etc. A large supermarket was less than a 5 min. walk away. Would stay again. The stairs going up to the third floor, especially with luggage! And there was no safe for our passports, etc.
• Linda (6/5): - Shaila was wonderful and very accommodating. Unfortunately the pictures make the room look better then it actually was. Almost felt like a dorm room. Luke warm showers, someone else's hair in the shower, very worn floor. Dated furniture. You could hear everyone else on the floor. Cold AC, walking distance to train. Nice restaurants near by.
• Kevin (6/5): I won’t recommend staying here… - Communication was good with the hotel, apart from that, everything just didn’t stand out for me. I get that most of the top hotels in Florence are expensive and this was one of the affordable ones and this is obviously not 5-star, I won’t stay here again. Wifi was bad. In our 3-4 days stay, it only worked half of the time. And when it did work, it was slow. The location wasn’t the best. Apart from a bus stop nearby, it’s not the most convenient. We ended up walking 30mins one day under the Firenze heat as the bus drivers had a strike - again not their fault. The nearest tram station is a good 15min walk. Very few restaurants nearby. Just not a lot of things happening - it is a residential area so I get that. Two bakeries as well. The rooms need serious upgrading. Old and there was a bit of smell coming out from the toilet. Lastly, be prepared to pay for the city tax. We were not told about this in advance, and although it was just €34 but we were a bit surprised. First time I have experience this in my many visits to Italy.

• Sofija (9/5): A very pleasant stay. - Everything was very nice and clean, the hosts were very sweet. There was a nice kitchenette, with a fridge where we could store some food and cool our water, which was very convenient in the hot summer days. Parking is a bit problematic, specially at night since the whole area is zoned for residents. There was a garage across the bridge about 15min walk away, so we used that overnight.

Its walking distance to everything. The staff are super helpful.
• jordanfR8752LT (4/5): Don't stay here - We don't recommend staying at 1900 Artevita. The cost of the stay was not equal to the quality. It was very outdated and oddly set-up. We stayed in a room that did not match the photos. The WiFi signal was poor and we had to ask multiple times to get the correct password. The bed was very uncomfortable. There were large mosquitos in our room, as they were able to get in through the balcony doors even without them being open. There are a lot of stairs to get into the place, no elevator/lift option, which is a challenge with luggage. We placed food in the shared fridge and it was taken or thrown away.
• nadirah (10/5): - Good bnb for Florence with quiet location easily accessible to tour points. The actual hotel is up 3 flights of stairs...we didn’t know that in Italy ground floor is 0, not 1. So if you see "second floor" its actually 3. Totally fine for us but maybe not great if you have tons of luggage or are elderly. We enjoyed our stay and had no problems at all with the lodging.
• S a (10/5): Great place in quiet area - We loved our stay! The fact that we had use of the kettle, fridge,microwave,tea/coffe/cups/plates/etc Balcony room is a must well for us it was. There is a supermarket 3 min down road. We walked from the train station 20 mins. But believe you can take but. We walked all over. I think if your use to walking maybe stay closer. Especially if you want to be out all day. Come home and go back into town. There is not too many restaurants close by. Shaila the host was friendly.

• Qian (3/5): Poor - Far from Central Railway Station. The hotel is on the second floor, but there is no elevator. You have to carry your suitcase upstairs yourself. The height of the bed is very low.

• Liza (5/5): Good price, great staff but... - The price was good. Communal fridge, dishes, microwave, coffee and tea area. The AC took a while to cool down the room and we were hot at night. There was a part of the flooring that was coming undone. No access to toilet paper we had to ask for it.

For us who like to walk everywhere, the location was a bit far from the sites to visit in Florence. We used the bus service and it was quite good. The owner was very helpful in that area.
• Anita (6/5): - Property was in the quieter part of city about 25 min all from bustling centre. Enjoyed the area with easy bus access to city and train station. We were told that someone would welcome us at the scheduled arrive time but had to wait in the searing heat for over half an hour. Air conditioning was not very effective and there was visible black mould in the room. Internet did not work for the second night of our stay. Was critical as we were trying to book onward train travel.

Big supermarket two minutes away with a great variety of products. Tea/coffee making facilities, water cooler and two fridges for guests. Shaila was a superb host, she couldn't have been more helpful

• Yuenman (8/5): Nice and quiet! - Overall great stay. The staff was polite and helpful. Room was very spacious. Towels, shower gel and hairdryer is provided. There’s a drink station in the hallway, a coffee machine that has decent tasting pods and is always stocked up. There’s also a kitchen area where there’s a fridge for you to put chilled snacks if you wish. The location wise is quiet, if this is what you are looking for. It takes around 28 minutes to walk to the tourists sites, as we are on the other side of the river. But bear in mind it takes roughly that long but if you plan on doing other things etc etc then the miles will add up. Perfect if you don’t mind walking. There is a bus that takes you to places but we knew the walking route so didn’t use the bus. There is also a supermarket which is 3-5 mins walk on the same street, but that is quite small so don’t expect too many choices of food I mean. Other than that it’s a great stay! location is a bit out of the way. Which means if I do go back to Florence I may not go back to this place. But I highly recommend it if people don’t mind walking. just me and my badly designed feet.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Staying at a B&B that doesn't do the Breakfast part was a novelty. The premises is on the 3rd floor with NO lift. So bags and your nightly post dinner climb is up 3 flights. Accepting all that, it was adequate EXCEPT paying $150 per night for what was essntially a room is far more than warranted.
