• Sevim (7/5): Für zwei Tage ausreichend für länger nicht . Es gibt bessere Alternativen in Istanbul - Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich bequem zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen leider sehr beengt und verfügt über keine Sitzmöglichkeit. Auch die Garderobe bietet aufgrund ihrer geringen Größe nur wenig Stauraum. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls sehr klein gestaltet; insbesondere am Waschbecken fehlt ausreichend Ablagefläche für persönliche Utensilien. Das Frühstück wird im Obergeschoss serviert und bietet eigentlich einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Bosporus und das Goldene Horn. Dieser Eindruck wird jedoch durch verschmutzte Fenster etwas beeinträchtigt. Zudem wirkten die Platzsets teilweise ungepflegt, da sie fleckig waren.

The views from both rooms were great, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect for visiting many places on foot. A special mention to Burcu at breakfast, who made the start of each day very pleasant. A great hotel with a warm atmosphere — we would happily recommend it.

Superanbindung an die Öffis. Frühstück einfach aber gut, Zimmer super sauber, guter Wasserdruck keine Spritze außerhalb der Duschkabine kein verstopfter Abfluss als tipptopp. Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das sehr schöne Aussicht, war im sechsten Stock, damit etwas exponiert in der Sonne, dadurch wurde es natürlich etwas warm. Die Decke war aus Kunststoff und somit auch etwas warm. Alles in allem aber absolut in Ordnung, es hätte auch eine Airconditioning gegeben. Die wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Das Restaurant war unmittelbar über unserem Zimmer, daher gab es etwas Sesselbrücken zu Essenszeiten, was aber wirklich kein Problem war.
• Mariam (7/5): - موقع الفندق كويس بس بشارع جانبي مرتفع. الغرفة نظيفة ومرتبة الموظفين لطيفين ومتعاونين وأعطوني late check-out. الحمام جدا صغير و الغرفة صغيرة كذلك خيارات الفطور محدودة جدًا، وإذا خلص الصنف ما يجيبون زيادة. التنظيف ما يتم تلقائي بالرغم انك حاط علاقة التنظيف، حتى لو تركت الغرفة 5–6 ساعات لازم تتواصل معهم، مع إن الفندق صغير.

• Rezwana (8/5): Worth that stay 💯 - The view from the rooftop is amazing perfect view of the mosques. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, they decorated our room so nicely for our 1 year anniversary too! I loved the space in the room perfect for 2. The breakfast was amazing, the lady that does the breakfast was super super sweet too. They also have a restaurant upstairs which was so handy as it was raining during our stay and we didnt want to go outside for dinner. Our stay was quite short and they were super supportive of that and got my laundry done the same day! The bed was very very creaky, couldn't sleep properly without it making noise multiple times during my sleep and waking me up.

The “corner room” was clean and comfortable but smaller than the standard rooms. Location is great, close to the river and the Galata tower. The windows at the rooftop bar a dirty to the point that it was difficult to see the views.

• Chelsey (10/5): Amazing location, great stay! - Amazing location! I originally had a hotel booked up near Galata Tower but switched last minute to Azzap and I’m so glad I did. This location is perfect! 5 minutes from the ferry, the bridge over to old town and the tram up to Galata. Was so nice to be in such a central location and not have to trek up the hill to Galata every time. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and spoke great English. It’s also quiet which is rare to fine in a city like this. It’s tucked back off the busy street so we could not hear the street noise despite being in such a busy area. The rooftop restaurant was also a nice addition with great views of the city. 10/10 would recommend! My only complaint was the coffee at breakfast was very watery and weak. That’s the only negative I can think of.

• Büsra (9/5): Super Hotel für kurze Aufenthalte - Ich habe drei Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sauber, ordentlich und roch angenehm. Es gab im Bad Duschgel, Shampoo und auch Spülung. Das Personal war auch stets nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war frisch und vielfältig. Man konnte aus verschiedenen Ei-Gerichten auswählen und es wurde frisch zubereitet. Die dort tätigen Dame, Burcu, hat auch herzlich die Gäste empfangen. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass das Fenster direkt zur Außenmauer des anderen Gebäudes schaute, sodass kein Tageslicht reinkam. Da ich aber eh nur zum Schlafen ins Hotel kam, war das für mich nicht schlimm. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen. Fenster direkt zur Außenmauer gerichtet

• Fotis (9/5): Recommended for a budget-friendly but quality stay - Very Good location (especially if you avoid Tersane str. and prefer Bankalar str), great price/quality balance, excellent staff. The sea view room was OK, not really spacious and the view was not unobstructed but overall was clean and the mattress was comfortable. Need to mention that the breakfast was not very extensive but of high quality and very very tasty. Really excellent. Special thanks to the reception staff who were very welcoming and kind but also to the wonderful smiling lady (Burcu) at the breakfast area. The fact that you cannot really access by car and transfer is not very easy.

• Gustavo Alonso (2/5): Difícil creer que éste hotel tenga una evaluación de 8.6 - No me gustó nada. Una habitación muy pequeña, con vista a una pared. Inconfortable. Lo único bueno es que era sólo una noche. Desayuno básico, y una atención desagradable. Te retiraban los platos antes de terminar y sin preguntar, siempre apurados para terminar luego el servicio. Algo muy común en Estambul, el pésimo servicio al cliente. Es mi tercera vez en la ciudad, y ya he logrado dilucidar que la mayoría de las evaluaciones de Booking (por lo menos en Estambul) no son reales... Siempre te tratan de engañar con las evaluaciones. Tengo varias historias para contar sobre eso. Finalmente, hoy domingo tuve que alojarme nuevamente en la zona europea... pero NO CAIGO DE NUEVO. Preferí ir a una cadena de hoteles internacional y sólo pagué un 20% más. Así descansé de verdad.

• Marko (10/5): Clean and quiet hotel in a very good location, great value for the price - The location was really very good. Google Maps was a bit confusing before arrival, because it showed longer and more complicated walking routes from the hotel. But in reality it seems Google Maps does not properly understand the access street, so it sends you around by unnecessary detours. When you use the direct access street, everything is much closer. The ferry terminals, the T1 tram and the F2 historical Tünel are all around 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. You get easily to Kadıköy and Eminönü and via Eminönü you can reach many other parts of Istanbul very well. So it is a really good base for moving around the city. There is also a good minimarket less than 2 minutes away, which was very useful. Around Karaköy, Galata and Galataport there are lots of food spots and places to walk around, so the area felt very central and practical. The room was small but clean, nice and very quiet. For the price, it was very good value. The only thing to know is that “without view” not only means without view but also without daylight. So it is not just a bad view, the room is more like fully dark from the window side. For sleeping this was actually very good, because it was quiet and dark and you can still get fresh air from the window. But if daylight in the room is important for you, you should know this before booking. Also the power sockets in the room were not placed conveniently, better bring an extension cable.

• Begimai (10/5): perfect first impression of Istanbul - it was our first visit to Istanbul, and the location was perfect. all the main must visit places were very close, you can either get on foot, or take tramway which is 200 meters from hotel. room was cozy and clean 👍 very comfy bed, quiet at night and safe around the hotel. too small room, but not so critical. anyway you gonna come back late at night just for showering and sleep, Istanbul is the city for walking all day around 😉

• Aida (7/5): - El hotel está muy bien pero tuvimos mala suerte ya que nos asignaron una habitación extremadamente pequeña. O entraban las maletas o entrabamos nosotros. No se podía ir alrededor de la cama por qué habíamos dejado las maletas en ese espacio entonces había que entrar por los pies. El tercer día pedimos a recepción si era posible el cambio y nos lo hicieron muy amablemente. Pero creemos que la habitación inicial no puede venderse como doble superior y al mismo precio que las demás.

• ALEXANDRA (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Azzap Hotel. First of all, the location is incredibly convenient—just a few steps from the Tünel, tram, and Karaköy port, making it easy to get everywher around the city. We stayed on one room of the upper floor, and was spacious, clean, with nice view and well-equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast area offered an impressive view. The breakfast itself had an adequate variety, and we especially enjoyed the egg dishes. Last but not least, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable—from arranging an early check-in and assisting with taxi communication to helping me organize a surprise for my daughter’s birthday. P.S. As a female traveler with a teenage daughter, I initially had some concerns about the safety of the area after reading a few previous comments. However, I can confidently say that we felt safe everywhere in Istanbul, including around the hotel. -

La décoration est soignée et crée une ambiance très agréable. Quant à l’emplacement, il est tout simplement idéal, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus confortable. Une très belle expérience ! • Theresa (10/5): Modernes, zentral gelegenes Hotel mit freundlichem Service - Ich hatte einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls ausreichend: eine leckere Auswahl vielen Produkten, sodass wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal – sehr zentral, sodass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und wichtige Punkte bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Die Zimmer waren sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt stimmt hier einfach das Gesamtpaket. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!
• Pamela (9/5): A comfortable and well-located stay with great service and a peaceful atmosphere. - I really appreciated how quiet the room was, especially considering the hotel is right in the heart of Istanbul’s tourist area. I was able to rest well with no noise issues. The staff were responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. Breakfast was served buffet-style on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, which was a great way to start the day. I also found the luggage storage after check-out very convenient. Regarding access, I had read that taxis don’t always drop you off right at the door, but this depends a lot on the time of day, during busy hours the street can be quite narrow and congested. Not a major issue, but it would have been more convenient to pay for the airport shuttle by credit card without the additional 20% fee, so cash is the better option.

• Vitalia (10/5): My best sleep - Everything. The staff, the facilities, the mattress, the shower, the view. The staff was so kind to me. I came earlier than my check in and I was so tired. They happily offered me to check in earlier and rest and even made coffee specially for me. I slept like a cat in the sunshine on that soft mattress. The best. I don’t want to stay anywhere else in Istanbul. I honestly have nothing to say here.

La camera era davvero molto piccola, ho avuto la sensazione che fosse una singola, trasformata in doppia per l'occasione. Difficile girare intorno al letto per raggiungere il bagno; impossibile aprire la porta del frigobar; l'armadio veramente striminzito. Inoltre i vetri della camera e anche quelli del terrazzo per la colazione non venivano lavati da troppo tempo: non mi sembrano adeguato ad un hotel che vanta 5 stelle

• Sholpan (10/5): Отличное соотношение цена/качество - Хорошее месторасположение,можно пешком дойти до основных достопримечательностей,таких как Галата башня,Собор Айя София,Голубая Мечеть. Тихая улица. Хорошие завтраки. Очень внимательный персонал. Номер маленький. Было прохладно,кондиционер настроен только на охлаждение. Халатов и чайника сначала не было,но принесли без проблем,когда попросили.

• Daniela (9/5): Das Haus ist jederzeit empfehlenswert, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen! - Ein kleines, aber feines, sehr gut gepflegtes, sehr zentrales aber dennoch wirklich ruhig gelegenes Hotel unterhalb des Galata Turms. Alle zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zu Fuß zu erreichen, genau wie die Fähren. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
