Everything is closeby and in walking distance, and everything you need is in the room, like a frigde and microwave The stairs to the room, its not for the weak. There are 4 flights of stairs to climb up to get to the room, the bathroom was also kinda small

• LIONEL (7/5): - La proximité de la Rambla et des commerces. Bien situé proche du port et de la plage. La kitchenette est pratique même si nous ne l'avons pas utilisé. Trop bruyant, l'appartement était dans une ruelle passante, on entendait le bruit de l'extérieur. Mal isolé. Nous avons mal dormi. La douche est très petite. Couette petite.

I liked the accommodation very much, but as the host pointed out, the narrow stairs could be tricky if you have a large suitcase. I only brought a small bag so it was fine for me : )

• Dániel (9/5): Ár-érték és elhelyezkedés tekintetében nagyon jó - Elsőre ijesztő a környék, de megismerve a lehető legjobb elhelyezkedés. Minden 5-10 perc sétával elérhető. Ár érték arányban nagyon jó. A szoba egy vagy két főre még élhető, de a leírtaknak megfelelően nem nagy. Kb 25m2. A fürdőszoba és a zuhanyzó szűkös, de használható. Pilar (szállásadó) nagyon kedves és segítőkész. Az utca a belvárosi elhelyezkedés miatt zajos időnként éjszaka is. De ez nem a szállás hibája. A folyosó valóban szűk, kb 50cm széles csigalépcső vezet fel, az épület sajátossága, nagy bőrönddel szenvedős lehet a feljutás.
• Christina (8/5): - Das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Es ist einfach gehalten; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, wir lieben die kleinen Gassen im Gotischen Viertel. Trotz verspäteter Ankunft wurde uns der Zugang zu unserem Appartement von einer sehr netten Dame ermöglicht. Wir kommen wieder.

L'appartement pourrait être mieux entretenu et un peu plus propre à mon goût personnel. Un peu plus de vaisselle et d'outils de cuisine serait le bienvenu afin de pouvoir cuisiner dans l'appartement.

• Kristin (8/5): Wir waren im großen und Ganzen zufrieden 😃 - Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral im gotischen Viertel, weitläufig alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Busverbindung/ Metro in der Nähe. Der Strand ist nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Die Wohnung hätte ein klein wenig sauberer sein können, kurze Haare waren im Waschbecken und der Toilette, ebenso wie Haare auf der Bettwäsche und Fußboden. Es ist auch ein Besen und Wischmopp vorhanden, so konnten wir zwischendurch mal durchfegen, bei einer Woche Aufenthalt. Die Matratze war für mich etwas zu hart, aber das ist ja individuell. Sonst hat man alles was man braucht Kühlschrank, Herdplatten, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster. Die Vermieterin hat uns vor Ort in Empfang genommen, alles erklärt und gezeigt, sie war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, wir durften bei Abreise, noch unser Gepäck im Zimmer stehen lassen, da wir noch in die Stadt zum bummeln wollten und mit Gepäck, wäre das weniger angenehm gewesen. Leider ist es nachts sehr laut, da es mitten im Zentrum ist, außerdem wird die Straße mitten in der Nacht sauber gemacht und der Müll wird eingesammelt, dies war leider sehr störend. Im großen und Ganzen waren wir aber zufrieden und es hat uns gut gefallen. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchen 🫶

• David (9/5): En plein cœur du quartier gothique - En plein cœur du quartier gothique, idéal pour visiter en profondeur cette ville culturelle. Un gros problème d'isolation phonique. Les fenêtres ne se ferment pas vraiment et le moindre bruit de la rue qui est tout de même assez fréquentée parvient dans la chambre à un haut niveau.

• ΕΛΕΝΗ ΦΑΤΙΜΑ (9/5): Ευχάριστη διαμονή στο κέντρο - Το κατάλυμα βρισκόταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, δίπλα σε πολλά μαγαζιά και πάντα υπήρχε κόσμος. Ήταν μικρό αλλά ιδανικό για 2 άτομα, καθώς τα περιλάμβανε όλα.Η επικοινωνία με την ιδιοκτήτρια ήταν φιλική και ευχάριστη χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Ήταν μια πολύ ωραία εμπειρία και σίγουρα θα το συνιστούσα!! Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που να μην μας άρεσε.

Oda temizdi internet gayet iyiydi.mutfak gereçleri yeterliydi. Odaya çıkarken merdivenler çok çok dardı bavullarla çıkmak zor oldu. Banyosu küçüktü.sokakta bank olduğu için insanlar sabaha kadar orda sohbet ediyordu bu sebeple biraz fazla gürültü vardı.kahve makinası vardı ama makinaya uygun kahve yoktu.perdeler o kadar kalındı ki aralamak bile çok zordu.(gürültüyü önlemek için yapıldı galiba) ama balkona çıkmak bile zordu perde yüzünden.

• Iris (7/5): - Die Lage Die Küche ist sehr klein und einfach ausgestattet. Es gibt nur einen Mülleimer ohne Deckel und der steht im Bad. Aber wir sind damit zurechtgekommen. .

• Jose Antonio (6/5): Una buena relación calidad/precio no justifica una ausencia de limpieza y desinsectización adecuada. - La atención de la anfitriona que nos esperó hasta tarde para entrar en el apartamento y darnos las explicaciones pertinentes. Fueron noches frías en Barcelona pero con el aire caliente del apartamento no se notaron mucho. El suelo estaba sucio y, sobre todo, debajo de la cama, con bastante polvo. Una noche nos encontramos dos cucarachas correteando por el baño. Se oye mucho a la gente de fiesta por la noche y sobre todo, a gente subiendo y bajando por las escaleras.

• Crystal (9/5): Would stay again - I loved that the apartment was located close to almost everything. It's in the Gothic quarter close to the cathedral and parks and the beach and downtown all within walking distance. Pilar was an amazing host. My flight got in late and she stayed late to let me into the apartment and show me around. I do wish that the apartment would have been cleaner. The floors felt gritty like they hadn't been swept or mopped and the bathroom toilet was nasty so I had to clean it myself. Also the curtains that are hanging up are so heavy we could not open or close them I feel like they need to take those curtains down and put up lighter weighted curtains, as well as the street noise at night is crazy. 1:00 in the morning they're spraying the streets down making a lot of noise and at 3:00 in the morning the trash comes every day and they also make a lot of noise.

Nu am primit nici o informare despre camera desi gazda a trimis mai multe mesaje legat de mai multe subiecte. Bucataria era invadata de furnici.
• Nadi (4/5): If I was only with friends I could stay here but not with elderly parents, kids. - The location is good, and the friendly administrator Pilar is always available but that’s it. Narrow stairs with several flights to carry up and down luggage, one person can fit. We were only informed of this after payment. Dirty laundry, room, no one cleaned for several days. Ants on the floor.
• Lucilla Bellini (7/5): Studio carino nel Barrio Gotico - La posizione é eccellente, in pieno Barrio Gotico, in un antico edificio. L'appartamento é piccolino ma attrezzato benissimo anche per cucinarti qualcosa. Vicinissimo c'é una panetteria buona e vari ristoranti. A pochi minuti camminando ci sono negozi, supermercato e i punti di interesse del barrio. Purtroppo il rumore per le strade del Barrio Gotico non permette di riposare bene anche con le finestre chiuse. Le scale per raggiungere l'appartamento sono strette e ripide (ma questo c'era scritto nell'annuncio e sono normali per un edificio antico, quindi da tenere in considerazione se uno ha problemi di mobilitá o bagagli ingombranti).

Man erreicht den Strand in 10 min, ist mitten im Gothischen Viertel, welches wunderschön ist und kann von hier aus auch wunderbar einfach zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden. Die Besitzerin Pilar ist sehr nett und hat uns noch nette Tipps gegeben. Kleinere Stühle, die unter den Esstisch und evtl. auch auf den Balkon passen, wären super.

• Maxwell (6/5): Will not - I liked the location. The air conditioning works. The check in experience was awful, the lady left me waiting outside for an hour despite telling me she would charge me 150€ if I was late! The stairs are the worst stairs I've ever seen and I spent the entire time terrified of dying in a fire or exhausted from climbing 70 stairs to my room. Literally, you can only have one person on the stairs at a time so if your neighbours are coming in or out you have to wait. The room itself was not like the picture, it was cluttered with broken appliances, stained bed linens, dirty shower curtain etc... I also had to pay 150€ in cash just to get my keys and as yet I have not received this money back. This has to be one of the most unpleasant places I've stayed in Barcelona.

• Ivor (5/5): In general fine since I had no great expectations. Location is great! - Great location, wifi, Netflix, free wc paper. Impossible to shower without water leaking to the floor, curtain is a bad solution in a tiny shower. Too much noise at times outside the window, shady characters everywhere. Fights, arguments, drunks, tourists passing, ambulance, police, cleaners etc. Not for light sleepers. No cleaning cloths, no smal pots for cooking eggs or boiling tea, no dishwashing sponge.

• Maria (9/5): We really enjoy our stay in the studio. - The study was clean and well contained. The location of the study was in a really nice place (Gothic Quarter) which is very lively and near a lot of turistic places. The bathroom was too small but it was clean and in good working order.
• Daniel (7/5): Good - Location is great in centre It was not clean properly, the bed sheet was dirty so we washed in automatic laundry service, and very narrow steps to reach the 5th floor, without an elevator.
• Joseph (1/5): Dreadful. Crammed, uncomfortable and overpriced. - • location is excellent. • bed is fairly comfortable. • many towels provided. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place at all, for the following reasons: - This was one of the most uncomfortable & crammed apartments I have ever have ever stayed in. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait to leave. - The bathroom is way too small, really poorly designed. There’s no room in the shower whatsoever. The shower has the flimsiest of shower curtains (good luck not getting water everywhere). - some cleanliness issues all around the apartment as well. Dusty and cutlery and crockery dirty. - Cooking amenities are atrocious, no cutting knifes, the smallest of pans, everything is as basic and minimal as can be (you’re charging top dollar, spend some money on the staple items. - The narrowest of staircases, so if you’re a big person or have decent size luggage, you’ll really struggle. - The worst of all is the the abrasiveness and rudeness of this host. 1/ Really poor customer service skills and unwillingness to make any attempt to talk in English. Will meet you in person, and then give you all the instructions in Spanish verbally. Bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired too. Should not be doing any client facing at all. 2/ This was the worst of it: after my first night, I woke up to a barrage of messages warning me that my “disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated”. These messages continued throughout the course of the day, and it was only after the 5th or 6th one that it was revealed that that message was not targeted at me specifically. But rather it was a warning to ALL tenants in the building. Apparently one of the tenants made quite a noise the night I arrived and due to the fact they can’t pin point the culprit, they blast the message out to ALL tenants. Absolutely shameful and unacceptable. Even after I pointed this out to her, there was still no apology. - there are much better places out there for less. Skip this property
• Aubrey (10/5): Exceptional - The location is superb. Every possible attraction is within walking distance. Very charming historical building.
• Nicole (1/5): Expensive and a scam! Be careful!!! - An experience to avoid! The price-quality ratio is completely unjustified. When we arrived, the apartment was infested with ants, making the stay unbearable. The space was extremely small, to the point that even one person had trouble fitting into the shower. The owner asked us not to open the balcony or the windows, which made it feel even more confined. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, only accessible via a very narrow and steep staircase. To top it all off, the street where the Airbnb is located smelled strongly of urine, and at night, it was impossible to sleep due to the constant noise, making it feel like we were outside. On top of that, the apartment lacked dishes, there was no toilet paper upon arrival, and there was no washing machine or iron. Communication with the host was a nightmare. She only responded in Spanish, making no effort to communicate in English with us, and most of her messages were in all caps, which made it feel like she was yelling at us. When we arrived, she demanded €150 in cash, and at the end of the stay, she refused to return the deposit, claiming that we made "supposed noise" going up the stairs on the last night, even though we had simply walked up the stairs and went out to smoke on the balcony that evening. Apparently, everything is recorded on video, including sounds, which was never mentioned before. BE CAREFUL. This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially since the host was not helpful, and the floor was poorly cleaned. I strongly advise against this place!

Facilities (fridge, conditioner, stove, teapot, kitchenware) Just because we can't speak Spanish and use mostly English abroad it would be nice to have a paper with all the regulations about check in/staying in/check out processes. We got a lot of messages from hostess, which made no sense to us because of quite ambiguous writing. She was very helpful and kind, but still most of communication can be avoided with a list of instructions in English.

• Beatrice (7/5): Good spot in Barcelona - Good location, we managed to reach all points of interest. The pictures describe the place reliably, it had the appliances and features described. Very welcoming hosts making it a pleasant arrival and beginning of our holiday. The 4 flights of very narrow stairs weren't something we looked forward to every time we'd come back (not a blocker but something to keep in mind), and the shower was very very small. Unfortunately the street was quite loud at night making it hard to sleep.

• Pinar (9/5): a lovely studio to stay just right in the heart of the barcelona, and Pilar is a lovely host, she’ll help you with all y - the location is perfect, you can easily go to the museums or beaches by foot. metro stop is a 5mons walk. there are very lovely cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and a good bakery just across the apartment 👌🏻 only the stairs were tight, it’s quite hard with the suitcases but anything else is just perfect 👍🏻

• Andrea (8/5): Nice little studio in a great location. - The accommodation was located in the gothic quarter, few minutes walk from the beach and really close tot he main streets which made us easy to reach most of the tourist attractions. The area is cosy and lively. The staircase is really narrow and there are steep steps, but it's not bad. The studio is nice, the room is comfortable, the bathroom is tiny, but it served the purpose. Pilar, the host, was very nice and helpful. Overall we were satisfied, we had a great time during our one week stay. The streets in the neighbourhood - including the whole district - were sometimes a bit smelly. But it was still a cool neighbourhood.
• Dominika (8/5): Would recommend, a nice, bright and amazingly located apartment, very good value for money. - Amazing location, in the center of the Gothic district, close to the beach, La Rambla, Cathedral of Barcelona and many more. The apartment is very clean and has all the necessary amenities. It looks like in the pictures. The host lady is very friendly and there was no problem with check-in and check-out. Just remember about the steep stairs and the deposit of 150 EUR in cash - but both things are mentioned in the Booking listing. Generally very good value for money. The only drawback that comes to my mind is a very small bathroom and shower. On the other hand, they are very clean, so it’s not that big of a deal.
