• Caroline (10/5): - The location was great. Despite the busy location, the flat was very quiet. The stairs are steep, so if you're not agile and travelling with small bags this could be tricky to manage.
• Mire (4/5): - La ubicación El apartamento es muy pequeño para mi familia de 3 personas adultas. El toilet es muy pequeño, ubicado a un lado de la cocina y sin espejo o ventana. El alojamiento de la ducha es más amplio y bueno, pero ubicado dentro del sector del dormitorio, por lo que la persona que duerme en el sofá cama del comedor tiene que entrar a ese dormitorio para bañarse. Y, finalmente, durante una mañana en la que salimos a pasear, al volver descubrimos que una persona había entrado al apartamento sin pedirnos permiso ni avisar previamente. Eso nos hizo sentir inseguros. Cuando lo reclamamos, nos dijeron que efectivamente no debió ocurrir y como compensación nos ofrecen un descuento para cuando volvamos. La verdad es que, dada esta experiencia, no volveremos.

• Rosamaria (5/5): Tutto sommato l appartamento per starci pochi giorni è abbastanza comodo lo consiglierei - L appartamento era molto carino e la posizione ottima Impossibilità di comunicare con lo staff Volevamo altre cialde X la macchina del caffè e delle asciugamani pulite…. Impossibile ! La scala scomoda di suo resa ancora più scomoda dalla presenza di tre cesti piazzati sulla scala che rendevano quasi impossibile il passaggio e l aspirapolvere fissa sui primi gradini!

• Belen lorenzo (9/5): Muy buena experiencia. - La ubicación, las camas muy cómodas y muy limpio. Con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. La bañera es muy alta, yo soy bajita y me costaba entrar y salir. A lo mejor poner un peldaño o un taburete ayudaría 😉

• Mauro Carlo (6/5): - La posizione davvero ottima, a 10 minuti a piedi dai musei più celebri, in una zona tranquilla e ricca di negozi e supermercati. Zona servita benissimo con i mezzi pubblici e collegata direttamente dalla stazione di Amsterdam. La pulizia della stanza lascia a desiderare. Spero sia stato un caso, purtroppo toccato a noi, ma sotto al letto abbiamo trovato fazzoletti usati e una bottiglia di vino vuota. Cosa almeno positiva che comunicato al personale si sono offerti di fare una pulizia extra, e ci hanno offerto un voucher di sconto per il prossimo soggiorno. Purtroppo era il nostro ultimo giorno e sarebbe stasto comunque inutile una pulizia supplementare . Peccato!
• Lindsay (10/5): Location, views and kitchen made for a wonderful visit. - Great location with the convenience of having a kitchen and washer. Comfortable bed with air conditioning in the bedroom. Beautiful views! The 4 flights of stairs are a challenge to climb carrying luggage. The top floor gets very warm especially with the server cabinet next to the door, but the many windows helped cool it off. Having appliance manuals (or link to pdf) would be helpful. It was a bit noisy with construction next door.

• Lora (10/5): Comfortable and clean apartment - The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and the location was very good, not far away from the center of Amsterdam. The transport was near too, which made it easier to go places. I was really satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

• Nadia (1/5): YAYS cancelled our booking as we were travelling - The morning we were travelling, they cancelled our booking. They offered alternative accommodation the other side of the city but as I was literally travelling at that point I couldn’t check it and had to accept it. We arrived to a dark apartment in a very quiet location with little amenities or restaurants etc nearby - the opposite of what we had booked. They had offered ‘extra treats’ to compensate and found 2 waters - they had forgotten those too. After numerous stressful calls including one to get the internet as there was no reception in the apartment, I managed to get a full refund as we would have missed the tours we had booked from Vondelpark if we had waited til the morning. We stayed at Melrose Hotel and had a lovely time after that.
• Lauren (9/5): No frills, but very comfortable - Bed was comfortable, it was a king size bed. We had our 3-year with us and she just slept in the bed with us, though the pull-out couch was already made up for us which was nice. We were on the 2nd floor so we had a washer/dryer which was especially convenient. Kitchen with small fridge and dishwasher and stove. Small balcony. Place was quiet. I could hear every step of the people the floor above, though, so if that's important to you, request the top floor. Very steep stairs and at times it was stinky from I am assuming the trash? I kept opening the stairwell windows to vent it out. Otherwise, very comfortable spot. No frills, but very comfortable. I really liked how the toilet was separate from the shower/vanity. Very convenient if traveling with a small child. Something was very stinky in the stairwell.

• Luciano (3/5): Not coming back, don't use this company. - Location and that's it. It was dusty LIKE A LOT! The stair was filty dirt and the accommodation was bad. The apartment we got was the only one that did not show the bathroom on the booking pictures. It end up being bad, bathtub was with low water pressure, access to it was bad even for a tall guy like me. I contacted the service people and got the awesome standard reply: "thank you for your feedback. Good luck"
• Zohra (7/5): Good location but some issues with the property - Location is very accessible to the city centre Main entrance door did not lock - told the host as soon as we arrived and nothing was done to fix it throughout our stay. The room we were given was different to the images. The Netflix in the room did not work. We were told luggage storage was free and then told we had to pay. The toilet is very small, it’s actually quite succinctly to sit on the seat and opens into the living room so there is a smell transfer.
• Claire (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for exploring the city and the apartment is clean and has good air con and kitchen is nice with coffee machine Please note if you are considering staying here - 1. Construction is currently happening next to the building and very loud drilling from 7am every morning. 2. The building is on a main road and the bed shakes from the trams once they begin to run every morning, it is very loud and difficult to sleep past 7am if you are a light sleeper. 3. The narrow Amsterdam style stairs are very hard to get cases up to the top floor - we did not realise this and it would be worth the property to mention that it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. With that being said we did enjoy the apartment overall and would recommend it but maybe in a year once the construction has been completed next door

• Waleed (7/5): Good - Location Close to Tram stations and easy access If you are having kids and bags, you will struggle with high steep staircase. Carrying my stuff and going to the apartment was a nightmare.

Television stations bare minimum, practically useless. I needed to ask someone in another apartment what the Wi-Fi and password were.

• Мартин (9/5): Superb - The apartment was very close to the old city and any transport connections. It was good enough for a family of 4 persons. We did not like that despite our initial request made 2 weeks earlier for check-in, there was no reaction and no willingness to provide a solution for it, even to let our baggage. As we have seen, there are 3 other apartments, which were free, and we could let suitcases there until we were ready.

• Saul (7/5): Poor-average customer service, but I'd probably stay again because the property/location were great - The attic apartment was really lovely and the property was in a great location (really nice area just outside of the main city centre). YAYS was a bit cheap in a few places, which really brought down the guest experience. For example, they charge a 50 EUR fee for early check in and don't provide enough toilet paper etc for longer stays. It's a shame because if they were more generous in a few small ways (e.g. leaving the very basics like salt and pepper in the kitchen which really wouldnt cost much), they could make it a 10/10 stay.

As we stay at the top of the building we enjoy the view, (not something special) but we don't have something to Obstructs the view The negative in this... Is the 5 floor steps need to Go up and down only on foot So keep it.... If you don't like the Daily Exercise.. Electronic check in /out... The housekeeping staff very Annoying and intrusive

Dirty bath, rug and had to ask for extra pillows, though the staff were pretty quick to supply. They wanted to charge us €10 per pillow but as we were already disappointed about having no washing machine they through it in for free :)
