• Joshua (5/5): It could be better but it's doable. - Bathroom is decent. The bed is too stiff and Hotel says they provided iron but no iron is provided. The facts that it requires 200 dollars cash only deposit. I wish it was listed before I booked it.
• Malaire (1/5): Terrible. Would never stay again. - Nothing. Absolutely nothing. At all. The roof had two bad leaks. soaked our belongings, douffle bag, clothes ect. Also in the bathroom, soaked our stuff on the counter. Didn’t realize leak until morning when we woke up. Notified staff. They didn’t seem to care at all. No sorry. No concern. Nothing. Just oh, ok.

• Laszlo (5/5): Passable but hardly - Location not too bad 1) After arrival I wanted to use my debit card for payment. The staff took my card and insisted on giving them my PIN number - this is the first thing your bank tells you never to give out. I said I would type the PIN number in myself, but the lady said the terminal won’t reach the desk physically where I was. I told her I would go into the office then only to type in my PIN which she said I cannot do. As for a solution she told me to rather cancel my booking on Booking.com by calling them on the phone, as she cannot even do the cancellation herself. Unbelievable to me, I have never experienced something like this before! 2) Room had a bad smell 3) Very noisy - there is a construction just next to the accommodation where workers start drilling early in the morning.

• Gregory (10/5): - With this hotel I knew what I was getting. It seems to be a family-run operation, and they were helpful and accommodating. If you are expecting a five-star hotel, you will be disappointed. I used ear plugs, and white noise because I was expecting it to be noisy. I once woke up in the middle of the night to find that the floor above creaks when someone walks. Because of my earplugs, however, I was never woken up by noise. I read a poor review about cleanliness. My room was fine. I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. I was surprised by the $200 cash-only deposit. The man at the desk said that it was in the listing, and he was correct-- if you actually click on the "hotel policies" link to find it. I only had $100, so I had to pay an exorbitant fee at their ATM in order to pay the $200. I was not very happy about that one. You had to dig to find it. The lighting is harsh, but adequate. There is currently major construction going on next door during the daytime. (3/15/26)

• Daniel (10/5): Great value for the price. - I’ve stayed here multiple times. Amazing value for the price. The rooms have a TV you can hook up to with an HDMI cable, microwave, and refrigerator. Walking distance to lots of venues.

In order to pay with a credit card, the owner insisted that I verbally provide him with my credit card PIN because his machine is behind security glass. I obviously refused that ridiculous request, and was told he would “wait 15 minutes” while I went to find a bank machine to get cash.

• Erick (1/5): Terrible experience – not recommended at all. - Nothing Terrible experience – not recommended at all. The customer service is awful, with zero professionalism and zero interest in guests. The staff shows no courtesy, no proper presentation, and no sense of service. The rooms smelled strongly of mold, the carpet was in very poor condition, and everything felt dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, a very unpleasant stay. I would never return and do not recommend this place to anyone.

• Brent (1/5): Don’t stay here! - Dirty and unclean rooms The staff treats you like shift from Check in to check out. The night lady who checked me in could learn manners and better customer service. She also tried to keep my 200 cash only deposit because I didn’t turn my key in I left in the room

• Francisco (10/5): Prime location to do fun and cool things! - The check in was a breeze and the front desk clerk was very cordial and offered great customer service. The room was very spacious and clean. I had copious amounts of towels that were changed every day, without asking. I loved how close everything was. I was able to go to my yoga classes, go hiking up near Runyon, and able to walk to Hollywood BLVD for some food and snacks. There's definitely noise around, but this is LA -- there's noise everywhere, especially at a prime location like this one. This is an older building, but they have definitely done some renovations. For the price, it's actually quite good. OH, and I had private parking. I felt safe and secure. Thank you. There was a towel that was stained, so it would be great to make sure those towels aren't re-used.

• Marta Sroczyńska (5/5): - Prosty motel w świetnej lokalizacji jeśli chce się pobyć w Hollywood. Budowa bezpośrednio przylegająca do motelu - od 6.00 rano hałas zrzucania gruzu- wrażenie jakby się przebywało na placu budowy. Koszmar.
• Mayte (10/5): - Me encanta la ubicación, la habitación es super cómoda al contar con baño privado, refrigerador, microondas, televisor pero lo que más me gustó es la limpieza, la cama super confortable, las toallas y ropa de cama huelen a limpio y se sienten limpias. Recomiendo totalmente Hollywood Palms Inns & Suites. No tengo ninguna queja! Totalmente satisfecha.

• Jill (10/5): - Outside does not compare to the actual room. Outside does not look so wonderful, but once inside the room, it was very clean, looks new, great bed. Had refer and microwave, nice shower. Very comfortable. The construction across the street, started early.
• Valerie (1/5): Did not stay at the hotel - Came back to check in at 2am after telling the receptionist I would be back at 11pm and she was not there. I rang the bell many times, I called 3 times and no one answered so I had to leave. I did not check-in to my hotel room. I have checked into La Quinta at 1:30am and the receptionist was there to check me in, but this hotel did not. Heads up on check in times, let me know ahead of time everyone needs an ID to check-in.

Staff is not always available and when you need something it's thru a tiny window like at the bank, feels really shady. They require $200(refundable) deposit in CASH which is weird.

• Miguel (10/5): Pleasant stay - Easy check in, nice parking and close to everything. I was able to walk a couple of blocks to concert hall. Plenty of food options around the neighborhood.
