- Philip (9/5): Very enjoyable weekend break - Lovely staff. Hotel in perfect location for us near to relatives. Enjoyed a walk on the common and Sunday market despite the wet weather. Could have done with a magnifying mirror in bathroom to do make-up and a hairdryer
Also there was no milk on the tea/coffee tray
- Anselm (10/5): Wunderbarer Ort für ein Wochenende - Alles sehr gemütlich! Schön eingerichtet! Alles sehr nett! Tolle Atmosphäre! Lüftung/Klimaanlage macht Geräusche (die uns nicht sehr gestört haben). Die Bedienung der Amaturen ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

- Anne (10/5): Lovely stay, would definitely come again. - We stayed for the night to watch a show at the New Theatre which was within perfect walking distance from the show and train station.
Room was lovely, comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Staff very helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again. NA

- Maria Joao (9/5): Nice and cosy hotel with a good quality / price ratio. Keep it up ! - O quarto era grande, confortável e moderno. Cabia uma cama extra. Localização optima, parque estacionamento e last but not least a simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários Não ter uma sala de estar indeendente do Pub.
- Peter (10/5): Excellent - Everyone was friendly and professional. A great vibe at the hotel. Fantastic location. I will book here in 2026 on my next UK visit Nothing to dislike
- Peter (10/5): -
- Anastasia (5/5): - The rooms were clean There is no lobby or lounge. I know it’s a pub hotel but the images on booking were misleading, I expected a small lounge but after 11 pm you can only stay in the room. Also the staff came to our room saying that the checkout WAS 15 mins ago and there is a fee for late checkouts. It sounded like a threat. On their website they claim to offer later checkout than usual. I don’t mind checking out on time but not under a threat of an extra charge.
- Grumpy100 (10/5): Fantastic experience and highly recommended - The main reason that we stay here is the staff. Nicky could not have assembled a better group of people - professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Did I say friendly??! Room is wonderful, breakfast/ dining is warm and friendly Can’t think of a thing
- Jane (8/5): Great spot to stay & eat! - Gorgeous little pub with rooms in the heart of beautiful Wimbledon Village. Cosy rooms, lit with lamps gives a warm ambiance to the rooms. Such a lively atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Nothing
- Mary (10/5): -

- allison (9/5): -
- Susan (9/5): - The staff were brilliant. Even with the lights on our room (12 ) was not very light and we found it difficult to read.
- Hd (10/5): Great atmosphere great food comfortable accommodation and excellent staff - Secure parking
I chose Rose and Crown as the location was perfect for the purpose of the trip See above
- Anu (10/5): - Valtavan iso ja viihtyisä huone. Ihana iso sänky. Moderni kylpyhuone.
Mukava pubi alakerrassa.
- Jackson (10/5): Great - Everything Nothing
- Rupert (9/5): Best place to stay in Wimbledon Village - Comfortable; excellent staff; delicious food Nothing really apart from the shower temperature fluctuates quite a lot
- bob (9/5): - LOCATION/PARKING /FOOD/WINE room was on the top floor
- Richard (10/5): Great hotel, really enjoyed stay. Definitely recommend. - We really enjoyed this hotel. It's location was great in Wimbledon village, steps from the lovely commons. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast and dinner there were quite good. The gal who greeted us was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Loved it's history in the area and will definitely stay again as we will be returning to Wimbledon. Next time we will ask for a room off the main street. Otherwise the room was very quiet.

- DAVID (9/5): Friendly and helpful staff - A varied breakfast menu Nothing worth mentioning
- john (8/5): Been staying at the Rose and Crown many times over the years since 2000 travelling from South Africa originally and then - All except below Price a bit expensive
- Rennee (10/5): - Place a staff were lovely. Would definitely go back
- James (10/5): Trip to the theatre - It's location the room easy ground floor the staff all great All ok
- Andrew (8/5): Overall, a really lovely room and enjoyable stay. - Lovely quiet and clean room, very comfortable mattress. Great location and friendly staff and would definitely stay again. Minor niggles - Bizarre tap in the bathroom- couldn’t work out how to change the water pressure.
The room needs a brighter light.
The toilet itself is very small and very low - very difficult to use if you have a dodgy hip.
The shower head is fixed and could be moveable.
Please provide milk sachets rather than a cute bottle or a mini fridge as the milk goes off.
- Glen (10/5): Excellent hotel, great stay - We stayed as a couple for a wedding. Excellent hotel and pub, lovely room with a large bed and nice furnishings.
Great breakfast the following morning. Decent pub. Would thoroughly recommend
- Morten Holm (10/5): Great Hotel in.Wimbledon - Cosy hotel in the village with very nice and friendly staff

- Deirdre (10/5): Magical - It was very beautiful decorated. Lovely back garden aera. Where you can bring your friendly dogs. Staff are do helpful and you feel comfortable once you arrive. Food was best I have eaten in awhile. Presentation and care in asking if we had any allergies. So thoughtful. TV Would not work . But we did not spend too much time in the room. Nothing else not yo like. Everyone should experience this place.
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (10/5): Highly recommended. Plan to return. - Delightfully situated in Wimbledon Village. Large rooms recently renovated. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the warm and caring staff. No safe in the room.
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent for the common and is a short walk from the tube and train (although up the hill)
Good room size and quiet location. The electronic temperature control for the water made it awkward to get cold water from the tap. Maybe a bit unnecessary?
- Rosemary (9/5): Superb -
- Shellee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martyn (3/5): Rude manager - Location Building work being carried out directly below our room, which started 7.00am and when I spoke to the manager she denied that she had let them in that early!! Then she blamed the cleaners for letting them in, but denied that they were making any noise!! Completely unacceptable!!!
- J (10/5): - Amazing over night stay. Rooms fantastic and the food too. Staff so friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this place and will also come back myself.
- Carolyn (10/5): Happy visitor - On a trip to London we found the half hour on the tube a great alternative to staying more centrally. The Rose & Crown is a pub hotel but the standard of our room was excellent. Everything was 8/10 or above. Comfy bed, air con in the room that worked, large, thick and fluffy towels, fruit and snacks alongside a nice range of teas and coffee.
Staff are kind and friendly. Breakfast was tasty with a range of options to suit most tastes.
Location was good too. After getting off the tube jump on a 93 bus for a ride up the hill to the village. Just loved it. The area is full of interesting shops too.
I would certainly use the Rose & Crown again for trips to London. That little step away from the city centre into a more gentle world on an evening is well worth it. Nothing
- Alison (8/5): Great Stay - Lovely stay in the quaint Wimbledon village. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive apart from the man who checked me in.
- Umair (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Comfortable and very clean - Wry clean and comfortable room with excellent sound proofing, free parking is a bonus but got busy and crowded, very nice cosy pub and restaurant highly recommended. Service was a bit slow at evening meal.
- Marvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valerie (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (9/5): Great friendly Staff, top food & great Pub atmosphere - Staff were great , couldn't be more accommodating. Food was excellent.
Bonus was the Parking The bed & pillows wasn't that comfortable - I am fussy!
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Elisabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (10/5): A great hotel and pub in Wimbledon - A great location we were seeing a show at the Wimbledon Theatre so about a 20 min walk. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful and staff were very friendly.
- Julian (9/5): Superb - Great location, facilities, staff and atmosphere
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb -
