Great little gym with new equipment which wasn’t busy most of the time, housekeeping everyday and I appreciated the free laundry facilities! Also close to everything, on the main MRT and bus routes to get around easily l. The staff were also very friendly! Nothing!

Ai (8/5): Provided very good customer services - The excellent location, great services from concierge staff like Gilbert, Fatimah & level 3 day cleaner including free use of washer dryer makes it a great place to stay for 2-weeks. The shower cubicle is kinda small. It is a struggle for westerners like my husband, often hitting the shower piece or turning hot water even hotter by accident. Dangerous. The wall TV has a fault, screen flickers all the time but we put up with it throughout the stay then reported to concierge staff when we checked out.

Zina (10/5): Loved Every Minute - What I loved most about this hotel was the incredible staff. Honestly, I cannot even choose a favourite because every single person was so warm, friendly, and genuine. My sister and I were on our very first sister trip, and neither of us had ever travelled alone before, even domestically, let alone a 10 hour flight away from home. I had only ever travelled with my family or my husband, so this was a big step for us, a proper girls trip, and staying here made us feel so safe, welcomed, and cared for from the moment we arrived. It truly felt like home, with real family vibes, and the team were flexible, generous, and went above and beyond in ways that genuinely amazed us. I had stayed at another beautiful hotel in Singapore before with my husband, mostly for the Instagram factor, but this place was on another level for comfort, and I had zero jet lag and slept like an absolute queen. Honestly, I would tell anyone please do not make the same mistake I did with my first hotel, which I only booked for the Instagram views, because this place is affordable and unbelievably comfortable, and we loved it so much that we genuinely did not feel like leaving, and there is not even one single complaint from us. The location is absolutely perfect in my opinion, with Singapura Plaza only about a 5 minute walk away and Orchard Gateway literally just across the road, which was amazing too. At my previous hotel, I had to order Grab whenever I was hungry, but here I could simply walk across the street and get food, which saved money and made everything so easy. The food around the hotel was lovely, and this place truly made my stay so beautiful and wonderful, and especially for my first trip travelling without family or my husband, it made everything feel effortless and safe. The staff were once again incredible and so caring, and the hotel always smelled amazing, which I loved. The cleanliness was next level, with cleaners coming every day and everything being spotless. What I did not like was having to check out and fly back to my country, haha!. I already miss Singapore so much. Honestly, there is nothing else I could fault about this hotel at all. Everything was perfect.

Antoinette (7/5): My room was clean and basic, but the location was great! Overall, the stay was good. - Location was excellent (which was near Orchard Road shopping and the Somerset MRT). The room was very clean. The wifi and charging ports were ideal. The staff was very friendly and helpful! MY room was in the corner with a small window facing the elevator. There was very little light in the room (this was a studio "suite"). Apparently, the Execute Suite would offer a window... I could hear every movement and conversations of others outside the front door.

Philip and Jenny (10/5): Quiet, comfortable apartment in perfect location ... - Excellent location just off Orchard Road - about 5 minutes' walk away from the malls (beautifully decorated in the run-up to Christmas - for any British visitors, the good news is that an M&S food hall isn't too far away for those craving mince pies or hot cross buns as an alternative to Asian food). I was easily able to walk to the Botanic Gardens, Little India, Chinatown and the old colonial area near the river. Dhoby Ghaut MTR station is reasonably close. Very pleasant apartment, serviced daily; everything of good quality and well maintained. Very little exterior or internal noise. Also liked (when rain permitted) the rooftop pool and the view - a good space to relax. Staff incredibly helpful and efficient, and a particular thank you to the young woman who was on duty when I arrived at half past midnight after a long day travelling including a delayed flight from Bangkok; I was made to feel very welcome. Singapore isn't the cheapest destination in the world but I thought that this accommodation represented good value for money ... and it did have a large window, whereas many cheaper rooms in the city don't have windows at all! There is nothing to dislike ...

Pool also felt dirty or unused. Not having a covered entrance or atleast a dedicated off road spot for a taxi to drop/pick guests up was a nuisance. Andrew (10/5): Short walk into Orchard & Somerset with many eateries along Killiney Road. Hence location could not be better, near - The staff are friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Yin Yin and Rahim for their most courteous service. We’ve stayed here previously and rooms are always fresh. Daily cleaning and top ups of Nespresso capsules. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. A slight hitch with tv reception. Hopefully it will be sorted for our next visit in a few months time.

Pearly (10/5): - Despite rocking up hours before the standard 2pm check-in time, Hakim went above and beyond on our first day and lead us to the rooftop pool and communal area personally to decompress and freshen up after our flight. Him and the team also upgraded our room at no additional cost and continued to provide an outstanding experience for the duration of our stay at Lanson Place, greeting always with a huge and sincere smile. Location is excellent, Killiney St offers great food options (the kopitiam was our fave!). Walking distance to Orchard Gateway and the main shopping strip were super convenient. I will definitely be staying here again!!! 👌

From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The facilities were spotless and well maintained, and the location was perfect, close to everything we needed but still peaceful enough to relax after a busy day out. It really felt like a home away from home. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be back next time we’re in Singapore

The cleanliness is an issue. Crumbs were left on sofa when we checked in and floors were quite sticky (not sure due to the soap used or it’s just dirty)
Ling Wei (6/5): Not a hotel but a service apartment experience. Helpful staffs made up for minor room inadequacies - The staffs were very helpful and introduced the facilities on arrival. When I have some feedbacks on the items (safe deposit box, shower door, waste bins), they worked hard and promptly to rectify. I appreciate that they offered a complimentary transfer to the airport for the problems I feedback to them. The floor of the room was not carpeted. The room is also not soundproof. You can hear children in the corridors at night and early morning. The room is also not completely dark when the lights are off due to the gap between the door and the floor and the type of blinds used for the window

Lynne (10/5): Comfortable room, very good facilities, great location, and wonderful staff. Definitely recommend - The location was excellent - 5 mins walk from Somerset metro station & 10mins from Dhoby Ghaut. 5 mins to local supermarket and shopping mall (Orchard Gateway/Central). The staff were superb (especially Ashok on Reception) - friendly, helpful, professional. Allowed me to check in early and took me (and my bags) to my room and explained things. They spoke excellent English and were able to answer all my questions about the local area and getting to places in Singapore. The room had a full-sized fridge (with ice box), kettle, coffee machine and microwave - allowing a degree of self-catering if needed. Cutlery is provided but no plates/bowls. (There is also a fully equipped communal kitchen that guests can use if desired). Modern ensuite with clean towels every day, and tea/coffee supplies replaced every day. Bed was made every day and sheets changed after 3/4 days. The Air-conditioning was invaluable and worked a treat! Secure access via lift and key card. Hotel facilities included a (small but functional) gym with cardio machines and free weights, and a 15x5m swimming pool on the roof. My flight out didn't depart until late evening and although I had to check out of my room by 12noon, the hotel let me leave all my bags with them during the day, and also use the shower/changing rooms at the swimming pool to freshen up (and re-pack) before leaving for the airport. In Summary - comfortable room, very good facilities, great location, and wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend Lanson Place, and will be looking to stay here again if I return to Singapore Some plates/bowls in the room (to supplement the cutlery) would be useful. Some TV channel signals were patchy at times - but generally OK.
Brezilla (10/5): - Absoluty made our week long stay in Singapore a pleasure. The staff are super friendly & went above & beyond for us. The pool, laundry & kitchen facilities made things so convenient! Location is amazing, only a block away from food & shopping centres with a bus stop in their door step but still, very quiet and comfortable rooms. So glad we stayed here, highly recommend Lanson Place!

I loved the swimming pool on the rooftop, the gym room as well. The appartement was small but very accomodating. Bathroom was very well equipped. No view from the appartment with almost no daylight.

Daniel (9/5): Very clean, convenient, personable, practical centrally located apartment, nice atmosphere. - Central location, easy access to Somerset MRT / huge choice of buses, Orchard Road, supermarkets, Killiney Road food centre. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Rooms nicely cared for and very clean. Comfortable bed. Petite but very clean and well appointed bathroom and kitchen (studio apartment). The room servicing was excellent, everything was spotless. Communication during the booking and en route (I had a delay and needed to update) was prompt, courteous and informative. Thanks for a very good stay; I would be very happy to stay again. Although the studios don't have washing machines, there are communal machines free of charge on two different floors, so that's very easy. There was nothing to dislike, but just a couple of things to bear in mind. The studio rooms are internal and have no view, only an internal facing window into the courtyard. If you want daylight / a view, you need a one-bed apartment or bigger. I would have liked a chair in the room, because apart from a high stool at the kitchen counter, there is nowhere to sit other than on the bed. It is probably difficult to provide more seating though, given the studios have to maximise space. Given this, I would have liked to be able to leave the room for some kind of communal area / business area to sit and work - even a small one, with perhaps a coffee machine, and a window.... These are pointers, not complaints, I was very happy and worked around the space - the studio size was my own choice.

Khine (6/5): Not bad but not great. Will not stay again. - Very central location, across from Orchard Central and Somerset MRT station. Washing machine and drying rack available. Provide washing detergent. The pool on the top floor is great. The cleaning staff and the concierge staff are very hard working There is no proper drop off lobby, you have to stop by the road and the facilities are dated. The reception counter staff needs more training. And when we ask for more tissue boxes, never in my life have I ever been asked why I need more tissue boxes. And when I ask about having car park per day, one of the male counter staff told me that it is trouble for them to do it daily. (You have to pay $10 per day for parking). The listing doesn’t feel generous with their services, not rude but just not good enough with what they are charging. In the room upon check in, there are hair in the closet, the sofas are dirty but they did put on bed sheet to cover the sofa. The bed only has one pillow each, the towels are dated. The wallkway to the room is not indoor covered walk way so it’s tricky when it rains. The gym is a small room with and it smells

Kyriacos (10/5): Chilled, professional and great location. - I loved the no nonsense approach to the self serviced apartments. They are friendly, professional and clean. The beds were comfy, the pool was lovely, the gym was too small but good overall. It was also quiet, well managed and I loved the fact that there was a laundrette and dryer inside as I went through a heap of clothes whilst walking and sweating. Lovely place, would stay again. I didn't like that I couldn't turn off the lights outside my door as I like it pitch black to sleep.
Mic (10/5): Everything you ask for: Service, cleanliness, and location. - The level of service and friendliness! Mr. Ashok at the reception together with Suleiha and Hakhim, and Auntie Kim of housekeeping were all amazingly efficient, professional, and attentive... always with a smile. Made my long stressful stay a pleasant and personal one! The location cannot be better. I used to live in the neighborhood, so I knew it would be great, and it was! The room size was very tight. Thought there would be a one-seater coffee table from a photo, but I had to work on a hard high stool on a kitchinette counter.

Please reconsider allowing taxis to gain access up to the frontage - Locatiom along Penang Road diagonally across from 313@Somerset/Orchardgateway was excellent with some eateries along Killiney Road and a bus stop nearby Address states 167 Penang Road but actual access and signage is at Eber Road giving rise to drop-off/pickup issues for taxi drivers not familiar with the area. There isn't a proper drop-off/pickup point outside Lanson Place so taxis can only stop along Eber Road and guests have to walk down to the lobby - not good especially when it rains
