Reception - again very warm welcome, always smiling and he made 1 of our rooms available 3hrs before check-in time. We felt he wanted to be as helpful as possible. Outstanding service! Waiting Staff - All were polite, courteous and very helpful. Rooms - very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast - Outstanding, never seen so much choice. All in all the Hyatt House at Stratford is 1 of best hotels we have stayed in. We could not fault anything. Very convenience location, with the whole shopping mall underneath; the kitchenette is great, with everything you need; Spotless clean room (Hyatt standard) and amazing breakfast! (Not having thousands choices but all with quality). Big thank you to Monica from Guest Relations team, she is very helpful, and tried her best to exceed my expectation for my anniversary stay, truly amazing and a great asset for the hotel. - clivehodgetts (10/5): Great Hotel, Friendly and helpful staff, great location for ABBA Voyage and London - Great location for restaurants and shopping. Also very convenient for transport with DLR into London central just a few minutes away. If planning to go to ABBA Voyage, then this is a good hotel. The rooms were a good size, clean, tidy with a fresh feel. Really quiet and housekeeping visited everyday. We included breakfast with our stay which was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again if I was visiting this area of London again.
- anitaprasad999 (10/5): Great location at the mall with kitchen and free laundry. - Amazing location right at the mall. Very comfortable and super clean with a kitchen and free laundry. There is a train station at the mall as well as bus options. Staff were amazing, particularly the concierge staff at the entrance (Ibrahim, Antonio, Aaron, Joshua, Naleef ) who were always ready with a smile and quick to provide assistance. Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency are both in the same building and both are great. If you need a kitchen, Hyatt house is the way to go. Rooms were exceptionally clean and Staff very helpful. Thank you Chaye @reception for all your help with my extended stay. There’s also a free laundry room. For extended stays, I get the one bedroom unit with a kitchen. There are 2 grocery stores in the mall right outside the hotel and a large variety of restaurants and shops steps from the door. I usually stay here when visiting London. It’s been a great stay each time. Looking forward to returning.

Overcharged me a lot - Like the hotel for its location and facilities but they totally put me off when they charged my credit card almost $2000.00 on checkout for a room that was prepaid in full weeks prior. Not a good experience. Getting the money back was not easy and took several frustrating overseas phone calls and a lot of my time.
- sdG5517NK (10/5): A Definite Will Stay Again! - When we came in, a few porters from inside came to collect us and guide us in, in the pouring rain, with umbrellas and a wheelchair for me because I am old and the ground was slick. I wish I had gotten everyone’s name because just this action alone made them absolute superstars in my mind. Daniel and Sudha amongst all the other reception area team were so kind and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Day to day, Naleef, Stanford, Aaron, Anthony (whom had been so helpful from another trip to this Hyatt House), really were phenomenal. I really owe so much gratitude to Naleef, for helping me find the best money conversion rate and a terrific taxi ride for our special circumstances. Naleef even came in early to his shift to make sure our departure went smoothly. Truly above and beyond, and we are beyond grateful to him. He is 100% kind, professional and helpful, he really smoothed out some rough spots when we we needed help. The cafeteria team was also super accommodating and wonderful. The food is always amazing. The house keeping team was phenomenal. We felt very fortunate to stay at Hyatt House London Stafford, which has an all super star team. We loved our stay! How do you do it? How do they manage to make each trip so special for their thousands and thousands of customers? Truly impressed as never before with any other hotel or brand.

Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency are both in the same building and both are great. If you need a kitchen, Hyatt house is the way to go. Rooms were exceptionally clean and Staff very helpful. There’s also a free laundry room. For extended stays, I get the one bedroom unit with a kitchen. Two grocery stores are in the mall right outside the hotel. I usually stay here when visiting London. - julienangelaharris (4/5): Disappointing Stay at Hyatt House Stratford - Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient right next to Stratford Station and only a 15-minute walk to the Copper Box Arena. However, it’s not easy to find as it’s hidden inside Westfield Mall. We arrived early and understood that our room might not be ready. They let us leave our bags with concierge and said they would let us know once a room became available. Fair enough. I returned to check in at 5:30 pm, and although the booking was under my husband’s name, my name had been added to the reservation. The receptionist was extremely slow and quite rude, taking nearly 15 minutes just to locate the booking while making it seem like it didn’t exist. Not the welcome you’d expect from a four-star hotel. The room itself was spacious and included a small kitchen, but the view was just of nearby buildings. Amenities were very minimal, no toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste, no snacks, just basic tea/coffee and two bottles of water. For a four-star London hotel, it felt lacking. Breakfast the next morning was chaotic. Long queues, a flustered staff member rushing people around, and tables not set. It did not feel organised or up to four-star standards. Overall, for the price, the experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t stay here again.

- KeeWee99 (10/5): Staff are the best what a Gem! - From the first moment we were kindly greeted by the front of house who showed us to the lift and directed us to reception. Such a warm welcome! The reception area is elegant and humble at the same time. Staff are so friendly and efficient. They work so hard and provide first class service. We booked 2 rooms for our party, one in Hyatt house and the other in Regency, these were on different floors. The rooms and common areas are clean and tidy and beautifully presented with everything you could need. The breakfast area is busy but well stocked and staff are incredibly attentive to all guests needs, we felt very looked after and felt refreshed. The beds are comfortable, semi firm. The drinks/bar area is nicely lit and the drinks are delicious. Medeea at reception was incredibly helpful, provided exceptional service, was so friendly and professional. Overall the perfect stay!

Have stayed at the Hyatt Regency (in the same building) in the past and loved the location next to the massive Westfield Stratford and also the main train station, hence the reason I came back. Hyatt Place rooms are on the top 3 floors and have a kitchenette, and laundry facilities on the 11th floor. On arrival staff were polite and courteous and checkin was smooth and quick. The room and bathroom decor is contemporary and chic. Everything was spotless. Quite spacious as well. Love love love the room. Aircond nice and cool. Shower pressure good. The kitchenette has everything you need including a dishwasher. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and food was of excellent standard and quality. Would definitely come back again.
- Vacation15985436502 (10/5): Top Tier Hotel Experience - This hotel by far exceeded all expectations. It was truly spectacular! The hotel was clean, modern and felt extremely luxurious. All staff were so attentive and professional. The location was perfect near to a train station and large mall with tons of restaurants. The room was spacious, and the kitchen facilities were a plus. I cannot wait to return!

- christopherpI5369NE (10/5): Stay here in Easr London - Good location in East London next to large shopping mall, stadium, transportation hub, casino, and V&A East Storehouse. It was a direct shot by Elizabeth Line from Heathrow. Some stops on the way but effortless for the most part. The mall is a little confusing to navigate - Stratford Station (Tube, Overground, DLR, etc.) located on 1st level. Stratford International Rail Station is located further away in relation to it and on another level The mall (Westfield Stratford City) is on 4 levels and was packed full of people on the Sunday we arrived so moving about with luggage was a little stressful. No signage telling us where the Hyatt House was (on the level above Stratford Station - taje the escalator up one floor and look for the first left mall side wing as you head deeper into the mall) so we finally had to wriggle our way to the information desk by the Starbucks for directions. Check in for the Hyatt and Hyatt House is on the 3rd floor - take any elevator bank. Once you get your bearings, you use the elevator bank on the right side of the main lobby to access the Hyatt House rooms. Our room was 1118 which had a view of some condo towers, a little glimpse of the stadium, the sunrise, and central London off in the distance. We stayed in a King Studio that had a kitchenette (fridge, hob, dishes, silverware, microwave, dishwasher, detergent for both dishwasher and sink, dish towels, paper towels, pots/pans/cooling utensils, all quite complete),which was perfect for us. Bed was a little too soft and something kept setting off my nose. Possibly pillows? There was a laundry center on our floor - very nice and used twice in our 11 day stay. Detergent pods are sold at the front desk for 50p each. The washers and dryers are free. Soaps were nice. HVAC worked well. Lots of USB ports for charging so we didn't need our travel adapter. Lights took a little getting used to as well as the card key slot you put your room key into to activate your room power. I noticed that housekeeping conveniently left an extra card key in the slot so you wouldn't forget your key (like I did a few times until I got the hang of it). Just leave it in the slot - don't mistake it for your room key or you will end up locked out and having to see the front desk. Wing chair, small cocktail table and standing lamp in the corner were wasted on us as far as I was concerned. An extra chair for the kitchen table would have been much more useful. Other than that, the room was very roomy compared to central London hotels - we liked it. While the location was a bit far from central London where most of the tourist attractions are, there are a few things to keep you occupied and entertained close by - major shopping center, tons of restaurants, subway and train stations that are about 20-30 minutes from central London, 45-55 minutes from Heathrow. We will be back.

- 865garyc (10/5): Perfect hotel for staying in the area - We stayed for one night as my daughter was swimming at the Aquatics Centre, which is a 3 minute walk away. Hotel and room both very spacious, perfect for families. Great that our room had a kitchen and shame we didn't stay longer to take advantage of this. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed that our girls stayed on. They slept through all night, which was a good sign! Breakfast was great and again a shame we didn't have more time as they had so much choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
- df635 (8/5): Great breakfasts, but room sparsely furnished - The Hyatt House Stratford London is a great value. Its location adjacent to a tube and rail station allows you to get to the center of London easily, a bit more than half an hour journey. The hotel is also adjacent to one of the largest shopping malls in Europe. Numerous restaurants are nearby. The rooms include a kitchenette which indicates many guests stay longer than just one night. We stayed 9 nights. The biggest drawback to the hotel room for long term stays is that there is no furniture into which you can unpack your suitcase. Not one chest. In the bathroom, no hooks or racks on which to hang your used towels. I pulled out the ironing board and stacked my clothes on that.

The kitchenettes were both well equipped. Both rooms were very clean, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast was brilliant, there was an excellent spread layed out. The location of the hotel is excellent and you are very near to a whole host of restaurants as well as the food court in Westfield shopping centre. The tube station was very close to the hotel ( 3-4 mins walk), and we were in central London within 20 mins using the tube. This will be our go to Hotel form now on, for whenever we visit London.

We have stayed at the Staybridge, as it was previously named, several times, and it compared well. Our room was very clean, and the staff we encountered, were polite and professional. The breakfast wasn't bad and choice was good. If I was being picky, I would say the fried eggs were not cooked well. Overall, it is in a great location, with Stratford having good links to central London, and with the rooms having kitchenette, it is good if you want to self cater.

- AppreciationTour (10/5): Phenomenal Hotel, Experience, & Staff - Phenomenal Hotel staff. Very clean rooms. The Hotel is also quite new (so that probably helps), but the Hotel cleaning staff does such an amazing job you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference–and when walking through the hallways they greet you and make you feel so welcome. Even the front desk, the team is so stylish and very kind, polite, and beautiful individuals (and I mean that on the inside, not just outside) because the way they treated us was very helpful and warm. I have to highlight this because I notice things like this and the extra effort people put in to this. The breakfast was robust, with a good amount of options. The breakfast staff was kind and friendly as well. Rooms are very big for London Hotels, which is a huge deal. There are fridges in the rooms too–sinks, cooking top, utensils, microwaves, etc. The Hotel is also in a vast mall complex which means you have a ton of options for things to get if you need food, clothes, items during your visit. Lidl & Primark for the basics and all kinds of classic brand type stores for the other things you may want to get. West Ham/London Olympic stadium is a simple walk from the hotel and the Stratford station into the city center is a simple 18 min train ride. Even though the Hotel is in an active mall/sports area filled with people, the windows are sealed in a way where you don't hear the outside activity. See what I mean? The details. This is one of the best located, staffed, dynamic and spacious hotels in London. Will come here often, when coming to London. One small note though, make sure to completely shut the shower door when showering or the water will spill out and puddle on the bathroom floor.

Friendly housekeeping lady as well as Egla at the bar, however, service was seriously lacking elsewhere with 2 rude bar staff and no laundry detergent delivered to room after 3 hours. Duty Manager was incommunicado despite leaving her card in the room with the welcome note - no reply to my issues after 3.5 days. Location is practical for Central London but it’s a very busy shopping centre and didn’t feel like a safe area (I saw a theft in progress one day). Lower rating due to lack of care from management due to no communication at all either during or after my stay.

- krmilstead (10/5): Great Hotel in Wonderful Location - We stayed here for a London stopover in a King studio for 9 days after visiting family elsewhere in Europe. The rooms were as expected: clean with nice kitchenette. Wonderful shower! Location in Westfield Stratford mall is wonderful for shopping and for access to London. The mall is large with two grocery stores (Waitrose & M&S) which makes getting groceries for preparing meals a quick walk within the mall. There are many dining options within and near the mall. We even did take-out a few times during our stay, and it was nice to be able to quickly pop out of the room for a drink or snack. Stratford train station is within the mall and has Underground, National Rail, and DLR service. Elizabeth Line is 10 minutes (2 stops) to Liverpool Street, 15 minutes (4 stops) to Tottenham Court Rd and 20 minutes (6 stops) to Paddington Station. About 45 minutes to Heathrow. This is the perfect location to explore London and even nearby areas by rail - even better connections than some downtown London hotels that require multiple Tube changes to get to the proper station. Quick tip: Since the hotel is within the mall, you cannot order an Uber or cab directly to the hotel. They need to stop at the perimeter which is about a 5 minute walk. Just call the hotel and they will send a porter to meet you with a cart for your bags and do the same for the return trip. It is easy to do but was quite confusing when we first arrived. We will definitely stay here on future trips to London. The only real disadvantage that I can see is that it is way too easy to spend money when you have hundreds of stores just downstairs!

- 441alisonc (10/5): Superb - Dear Hyatt Hotel, Stratford I’d just like to say a huge thank you to all your staff at the hotel during our recent stay over the Dimond League weekend event. We had an absolutely superb stay. Needless to say, the location was fantastic being so close to the stadium, and many restaurants, the hotel itself was just amazing. All the staff on that weekend were a credit to you, I’ve never felt so welcomed at a city hotel before; very professional and so very polite. After a long journey and although our room wasn’t ready upon check in, we were given complimentary drinks whilst we waited in your lovely Elondi Restaurant on the terrace, thank you, much needed after typical GWR rail delays! I have to say that after an hour or so of waiting, how lovely it was to be in our spacious room with a view of the stadium. The room itself was very clean, lovely and bright and so very quiet. The kitchenette was well provided for, all amenities thought of. All immaculately clean. The bed and bedding were sumptuous, the bathroom spacious, also very clean. We couldn’t find fault at all. I’d like to add that the breakfast choices were also very good and of good quality. My only small gripe is that we chose to dine in the restaurant on the Saturday night. Understandably it was very busy to start with and as we hadn’t booked, had to wait what seemed to be an inordinate time to be seated, despite advising that we would wait on the terrace until a table became available. We waited over an hour before I went into the restaurant to ask for one of the now many vacant tables by this point. I think we would have been left outside for the duration if I hadn’t come in to ask. By this time, half the restaurant was available. I have a digestive problem, so I try to avoid eating late so i should have booked really. By the time we were seated, we didn’t finish eating until well after 21.30 so I did suffer from indigestion for the remainder of the night and was slightly let down by what seemed to being ignored or deprioritised; especially as the athletes had a private buffet area and were walking in and out with food piled high on their plates! However, when we did finally get to eat, the food was delicious. In hindsight, perhaps room service would have been a quicker option? Anyhow, I did want to thank you once again for a superb stay and will highly recommend the hotel. Perhaps we will be back again next year in the hope of celebrating my 60th and if we manage to secure tickets for the 2026 Dimond League! Best wishes in the mean time and thank you
- Gary (10/5): - Stayed here for a weekend break, and to see the Athletics. I was very pleased with the room and the facilities. Would be ideal if on a work trip or an extended stay. I didn’t need to use the laundry facilities or the kitchenette as I ate out. The room was very clean, great quality cosmetics in the bathroom and comfortable bed. My only area of negativity, the WiFi was slow and my room didn’t have phone signal so that was frustrating but beyond that no issues. The breakfast restaurant was rich in options, beautifully decorated and staff really attentive. I would have liked to have enjoyed a drink in the bar but there looked to be an event on so went out instead. The convenience for shopping, the underground, sports venues is exceptional. Highly recommended.

- Simon (8/5): Not great for the cost..... - Initial impressions were good, helpful staff, clean communal areas, room spacious and looked clean on arrival. However, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly and needed paint and some attention to detail, not what you expect from a room that's nearly £300 a night. Things got worse when we came back after the show at London Stadium. The area of the hotel is pretty much blocked off when leaving the stadium, no exceptions, so we had one hell of a walk trying to back to the hotel. Probably not the hotels fault, but a warning would have been good. To top it off, the AC was very poor, we called reception, who were pretty unhelpful, no offer of a fan, or room swap and apparently no maintenance available. No apology at any point. Again, not what you expect having paid so much. Breakfast was pretty good the next day, but not good enough to justify the costs and save the stay. Needless to say we won't be back... and that's rare from me...

You will ask for something and will takes ages to come to your room. Cleaning service daily was a joke. After cleaning everything would dirty as before cleaning. I stayed there for 3 months and there breakfast started reducing, seems like they are moving towards some cost cutting. Even omelette preparation was removed from breakfast which I see as a must everywhere. Some staff were really nice and cooperative. Location of the hotel is excellent. Next to Mall and Station.

- Sunl0ver08 (8/5): Fantastic hotel, but mattresses need changing - Me and my partner stayed here for one night. We got offered an upgrade for £15 to a room with a better view. Which was nice - though even more special if a West Ham supporter! Which we aren’t. Room was immaculate, kitchenette perfect with Joseph Joseph utensils! Two gripes to mention that will probably be just an issue with room 901. Bed was quite small. The mattress was very soft and springy, as soon as one of us moved a muscle the other moved too. Like a cheap sofa bed! So unfortunately I don’t sleep well at all. Second issue is the cord for the shower is so rigid and moved the shower head constantly. So that was annoying. Hopefully both those issues get rectified. If I was staying again I’d pay extra and get a room with a super king bed. Breakfast was the best, the lady there was so helpful and got to eat in the sun on the outdoor terrace. Well catered for gluten free too. Location is perfect, just an escalator ride from the Westfields car park. Food downstairs in Mowgli was lush if needed a food suggestion! So apart from the mattress and shower all else was perfect.

It’s located just outside Westfield Shopping Centre and a 5 minute walk from Stratford tube station.

The suite was fine and comfortable. However, there were no cushions for the sofa or desk chair and I had to go to Marks & Spencer to buy two at £17.50 each. Strangely, whilst Hyatt Regency rooms mean you usually have to pay for breakfast separately or as an add-on, in Hyatt House rooms it is included. This does make the House option somewhat more budget-friendly. The breakfast was fine and the service efficient. The gym is fairly basic equipment-wise, but unlike many hotels, it's not locked in a windowless basement (like the Hilton Gantry nearby); in fact, it's on the top floor. Overall, I would say this was 4.5/5, but overall value-for-money for this kind of fairly modest suite in mid February means I should not begrudge the hotel a 5-star review. (Another bugbear avoided - at check-in they only charge a modest hold on your credit card. I was there for 10 nights.)

Fortunately, no noise issues arose, but DOUBLE-CHECK IF YOUR ROOM/SUITE HAS CONNECTING DOORS. The pictures on the website are ambiguous - some deluxe rooms have/don't have. I do not know if all suites have connecting doors - this would be a bizarre design policy, but connecting doors mean significant noise leakage so it's a kind of 'Russian Roulette' as to whom you have as a fellow guest next door. The suite was fine and comfortable. However, there were no cushions for the sofa or desk chair and I had to go to Marks & Spencer to buy two at £17.50 each. Strangely, whilst Hyatt Regency rooms mean you usually have to pay for breakfast separately or as an add-on, in Hyatt House rooms it is included. This does make the House option somewhat more budget-friendly. The breakfast was fine and the service efficient. Gym - fairly basic equipment but on top floor.

Everything you need for a great stay is catered for. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels in Stratford for work and would not stay anywhere else again.
- johnmodesto (10/5): Superb location, comfortable room, delicious breakfast - Excellent location in the huge Westfield Shopping Center, less than a five minute walk to the Stratford train station. Staff were efficient and friendly, the kitchenette was well equipped. The room was large and comfortable. The free breakfast buffet included the traditional English cooked breakfast, and lots of other choices including smoked salmon.

- charlottesX2749UB (6/5): Well Presented Common Areas, Average Room - During my recent business stay, I found the reception, bar, and breakfast areas to be well-presented and inviting. However, the room itself was average at best, not meeting the expectations set by the hotel's public spaces. It was comparable to what one might find in a well-known budget hotel. Additionally, I was surprised that complimentary water was not provided, which is typically standard in hotels of this calibre. Overall, while the common areas were impressive, the room and amenities left room for improvement.
