Our room was cleaned several times a day, clothing ironed daily, everyone did everything they could to make our experience a unique one. Breakfast and the restaurants are also very good quality better than most in the surroundings. Tea time was also something to try here. Overall a great hotel who truly cares about its guests. The Italian, Catch and Azura, with Azura being our children’s favourite. The food was incredible and certainly has the wow factor especially in Catch. The staff are so very friendly and really do go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Special thanks go to Viola for always being so welcoming at breakfast time remembering our order every day. Bhaskar for looking after us at the beach, he was amazing and really made our holiday so special. Victor for also looking after us and being so welcoming. Raj who remembered us from 2 years ago also helped to make our stay even better. In our 22 year olds words “this is the best hotel ever, I don’t want to leave”. The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious. We cannot wait to return thank you to you all.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Best hotel we've ever stayed in - I have never walked into a hotel and immediately felt at home—until I first stepped into the St. Regis Abu Dhabi. My husband and I initially planned to stay just two nights, before finishing our holiday in Dubai. But we loved this hotel so much that our hotel in Dubai (also a St. Regis) felt disappointing, so we decided to return the next day, and spend the rest of our holiday with them. It was pure luxury from start to finish - and having stayed at many Grand Hotels in Europe - this was just on another level. The property is spacious and beautifully designed (I like to think of it as Arabian Art Deco) and immediately feels calming. But the thing that really makes it special is the staff. Everyone was so warm and kind, and genuinely made the experience unlike any other we've had in a hotel. We can't wait to visit again.

- liviu (8/5): Not a st regis worthy stay - My stay was not very good , I received a room on the 49th floor that smelled of cigarette smoke and was very noisy because of AC systems that were on the 50th floor. The water from the shower flowed all over the bathroom , the towels small, old and not fluffy. You can see that is one of the oldest hotels in Abu Dhabi, it has some good parts like the food and the services but for the most part you can feel that is USED.

- MIRAJ (10/5): - We felt the staff were exceptional. Having stayed at the st Regis in India this year, we knew of the exceptional service they have. Particular mention to Vina (butler) and Shiv (concierge) who were exceptional. The rest of the staff were also amazing. I shamefully don’t remember their names. Only downside is the steam room and sauna is not actually in the main hotel but a 10 min walk to the the other side of the road.

- Verified traveler (4/5): I hope you are a VIP - I had a reservation for months prior to my stay, only a few days before arrival I was relocated to another hotel, and was told all reservations were moved that had the same dates as me, however I had other traveling partners keep their reservation. I appear to be picked because I booked through hotels.com and not directly with the hotel. Although the new hotel was not of the same quality, no refund/adjustment was offered, only a free meal. This was for a ~$4k, 5 day booking. They kept saying everyone was moved, but it is not the case!

From the check in, through to the waiters and the pool staff, all were extremely friendly, approachable and very much focused on attending to your needs. Nishal (pool), Vincent and Milan (Cabana) all went above and beyond. Their level of service and hospitality were second to none. We had a late evening flight and the hotel were more than happy extend the late checkout allowing us to spend the majority of the day relaxing at the pool.

Greeted by name upon arrival (still have not quite worked out how they knew it was us) and were shown the upmost kindness, generosity as well as hospitality during our stay. - Parham (8/5): - Some of the staff were amazing! The check in lady was so helpful and kind. As was the lady at the main entrance who always helped us super fast. The gentleman that dealt with taxis and cars outside - the main entrance manager was really rude and did not help at all. The concierge also never got back to us on the questions and help we needed. The room was very clean and service was great. We could not use the ocean for an unknown reason, no comp for that inconvenience. The outdoor pool was not clean, seemed like the filtering system was not working properly. The water was murky and felt untreated. The staff at the pool were exceptional and super helpful. The hotel itself is a little dated, but very clean and organised. For the price it was not worth it, I would recommend hotels in Al Maryah more.

- Niki (6/5): A good location and great hospitality - Butler service was a life saver if working to get a decent coffee, hospitality was next to nothing. Rooms are okay, some wear and tear to carpets and marks to furniture so some tlc is needed, but otherwise it was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic with a lot of variety - only issue is if your on your own they seem to sit you where all the foot traffic is and you get a little forgotten about (aside paying a lot to stay here, don’t forget solo travellers are also important!). Beach and pool is great, spa is small and limited but clean. Great location.
- Mark James (10/5): - A lovely week spent at tue St Regis. The teams at the hotel, terrace restaurant and the beach club were fantastic throughout our stay. Really welcoming and helpful throughout. We stayed half board and my only comment would be to extend this to the italian restaurant which is also in the hotel. This being restricted to the terrace restaurant only is a bit restrictive and despite having dinner included we had dinner one night in the Italian restaurant to break up the monotony. That being said the food in the terrace restaurant was really good and there we an abundance of options. The breakfast was fantastic and the section just for pastries is more than tempting and certain tastes as good as they look. A lovely week, with great food and fantastic service.

Catch and service there was 5star. Best part of trip.

A family member of ours had specific dietary requirements (no dairy or gluten) and all of the restaurants catered for his. Rooms were great, hotel was just wow. If you’re visiting Abu Dhabi, you just stay here!

From the doormen to the butlers (they come with even the base rooms!) there will never be such devoted staff. Namely Mahoni, Aman, Yyah, Abishek, Nokwazi, but the list is endless!! The food on offer (we stayed half board) is of a superb quality and with so many choices, it would be hard not to be impressed!! The pools are glorious and well staffed for towels, water & to serve your every need. I really could not have asked for more.

Every staff member was so very friendly. We were so looked after by the wonderful Vincent and Ankush at the beach. Santosh at the main restaurant who was so very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The ladies that welcomed us every morning at breakfast with such lovely smiles. We really could not fault anything at this wonderful hotel. Very relaxing time was had by all thank you all so very much.

The St Regis brand have a consistently high level of customer service, having stayed at the sister hotel on saadiyat island. It is the beach club that really makes this hotel special, alongside a fantastic location on the Corniche that also gives the buzz of a city centre hotel that is missing from those on Saadiyat, the best of both worlds in our opinion

Very nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing with huge variety. Check in was very fast, but on check there was a small wait as a number of guests were checking out at the same time. The pool was a little crowded as it was the weekend but the beach was very quite.

- John (8/5): - The hotel is in a great location with a good sized white sand beach. We had a sea view room which was very spacious with a very comfortable king bed. It was generally quiet and peaceful. The hotel does have a lot of dark wood furnishings and marble which gives it quite an opulent, but not a very contemporary appearance. The breakfasts are very good and plentiful, but we did not rate the evening buffet nor the Azura restaurant. The prices are high and the food is not great. On check in , the hotel’s policy is to take a 1,000 dirham deposit. This deposit is then topped up , in our case without our knowledge, by another 1,200 Dirhams. Beware using a charge card , rather than a credit card! The staff on the beach are all friendly and very helpful. Nice sun loungers and cabanas. There are some noisy guests. It would be good to have a policy of no music on the beach , as most people want to relax and read a book. The sun loungers are a bit close together, only half of the beach is really used. All in all , a good stay.
