As I had a long transit n Abu Dhabi, I intentionally booked for 2 nights so we would not have to wait to check in for 2pm as we reaching early morning and provided the Novotel team with our arrival info. Still ended up waiting for the room to be prepped as the staff at Novotel clearly had not read my message. So disappointed in that sense but overall the rooms and hotel is well maintained Hotel itself is clean

- Abhishek (6/5): Avoid at peak times - Very average stay. Reached the hotel at 5pm (check-in time was 2pm) and still waited an hour to be checked in. Eventually was given a People of Determination room which we accepted since we did not have the energy or patience to waste more time. Wifi in the hotel is extremely slow. Taxi are easily available and the hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Not very good customer service, smelly room, horrible pillows, AC was blowing cold air straight into a nose, couldn't change this set up, AC controller was failing apart, found hairs in the bathroom, shower was leaking.

The amenities provided, including free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a coffee maker, added to the convenience of my stay. #reception crew I had a wonderful experience during my stay, thanks to the amazing reception crew .. specially Mr #Sufian .. They were incredibly friendly and respectful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I greatly appreciated their flexibility in accommodating my late check-in, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for your outstanding service! I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

- Angela (6/5): Lovely Hotel but no sun ever on the Pool - The hotel is about 15 mins from the airport and a further 15 mins from Abu Dhabi Centre with nothing else around. This was a negative for us. The hotel check-in took forever, and we were the only ones (pre Paid), although they said it was a new system. The staff throughout were very good, especially the concierge team. We stayed on the 20th floor in a suite, and the space and views were superb. We opted for half board, and we were very pleased with the quality and range of food available. The one major downfall at this hotel is that the pool, although lovely and comfy, it does not get the sun at any time. Our plans for a day by day sightseeing and day by day pool was, therefore, not an option. We enjoyed a magnificent xmas Eve festive dinner outside and must say that we were super impressed. The Belgian Bar provided plenty of TVs for sport and a pool table with the downside of smokers inside (personal choice and so used to the UK laws now). The Italian Restaurant offered a superb selection of Pizzas and Pasta (241) after 6 pm daily. Overall, the hotel is lovely, the staff could not do anything more to help and please, the food was very good and the bar offered plenty. The downside is that the hotel stands alone with nothing around, and the Pool never ever sees the sun due to its position at the rear.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Abdulla from Bahrain - they charged me for the room although i already paid for non refundable booking on hotels.com. i showed them the receipt and they said we didn't receive any amount from hotels.com , this is very bad and a rubbery for any traveler . i don't know whether the issue from hotels or them but what i know is the traveler shouldn't be included in such cases.

- Sudhakar (8/5): Good stay for overnight - transit passenger - Was an overnight stay in transit at the airport. The hotel was 15 min from airport and cost Dhs 40 one way in taxi. Comfortable room for a very good night sleep. Has few restaurant where you could have dinner or lunch.

- Roxane (4/5): Lack of attention to detail - Lack of attention to detail - The attendant put me in a smoking room when I’ve booked for a non-smoking room as I don’t smoke at all and my son was staying with me. She even lied saying it wasn’t a smoking room when I could literally smell the cigarettes and there’s an ashtray inside the room. I had to insist that she change my room.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful hotel, but lazy housekeeping stuff - Wonderful hotel, spacious room, friendly staff, basement parking, but lazy housekeeping service. Room was with closed curtains when I checked in. Even though that has amazing view from 10th floor. Once open curtains, found window dirty from inside the room: oily stains from someone foreheads. Oily hands stains also were found on small table next to bed. And I have found black woman hair on sofa, and I am literally blonde. It seems like this kind of dirt is not visible for housekeeping. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful.

- Zaher (4/5): Room should be cleaned better - Cons: Room was not clean enough as there was some rice scattered on the carpet. There were no bathrobes & only one slipper. No toothpaste or toothbrush. No body lotion. Pros: Checkin & checkout were quick. Late checkout. Nice view

- George (8/5): Average Experience, but definitely decent place - Overall Experience is not bad at all. Some services requirs some enhancing, the receptionist didn't ask for a deposit and accordingly i couldn't place any of my orders on the room which was a Hassel specially when i had to visit the pool. Blackout was very bad actually, poor quality, u can totally see the light. I don't get why we have to ask to fill the minibar though.

- chino (10/5): Excellent - I stayed at this hotel with my family for 7nights over Christmas. We were well received and got an early check in as our flight arrived early morning. Room was super clean and we had an upgrade to a pool view! Everyone is super friendly and cheerful,we felt at home with this hotel. Breakfast was really good with lots of food choices, I think this is the best breakfast I have had in any hotel so far. Facilities are available too: theres a gym and spa facilities, I had a massage and morrocan bath which was so refreshing. Theres a life guard at the pool side. We got a complimentary cake for our anniversary which was so lovely. Thanks to all the staff at this hotel will definitely visit again

- Rhuddhesh (8/5): Descent mid range hotel - Location is a plus point. Though not many F&B options in close vicinity. Reception staff is top class - some names I remember - Mark, Neeraj & John. Room service may need some training. I ordered dinner in room and had card on file - but they insisted to collect payment on spot by cash/card instead of settling on room.

Left the tray out at around 8pm it was still where I left it at 7am A single waitress at a full breakfast room and she was busy doing something on a terminal. Had to go begging to her for coffee cup in hand. Egg station starts at around 7:15 even though the breakfast officially starts at 6:30. I could go on but won’t Oh and the only good thing was the Belgian Cafe

The only down side is that this hotel is the most expensive I’ve ever stayed in. The food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced, and for this reason I’ll be going elsewhere when I return to Abu dhabi.

And Egyptian guy was terrible not welcoming at all. bed is awful it sinks when u sleep in. Red light that u can't switch of while sleeping. Pillows square. Maintenance is terrible shower is broken, some lights are burned. TV doesn't switch on. Didn't like the entering and exiting to the hotel
