• Jill (7/5): Would recommend for a base if you're looking for a good place to explore the city from. - The location was very near to Jordan underground and Temple St Night Market and had lots of amenities nearby including a 'Bread Talk' bakery which made delicious baked goods. The staff were lovely, spoke good English and very helpful with any questions. The view from the room was not the best as it looked over a disused space and there was no bar until 5pm.

• Nigel (7/5): Great location and huge room - The location is pretty convenient with it being located near the MTR Jordan Station and the bus stops with services to TST and the Airport. 7-11 and the supermarket is also within walking distance. The room size is considered large for Hong Kong standards. Cleanliness can be further improved as the carpet and curtains in the room were pretty in need of a deep cleaning. The toilet was rather small too with the shower being in the bathtub (my mistake for not knowing it before booking).

Guest Service Manager Alfred Chow fulfilled my dream of watching a Grasshopper concert in Hong Kong Coliseum! - My stay was sweetened with an upgrade to a premium room on the 26th floor🥰 👍 January 2026 - My desired dates for MADERA were not available at Trip.com and I had to book Wake Concept Hotel at Yau Ma Tei. After a terrible first night, I left. (Do read my detailed Google review on what happened.) - I checked into MADERA at higher rates due to last minute direct booking and was supposed to spend 3N in three different rooms. - On my first night at MADERA, I got a disturbing email from Trip.com about cancelling my other hotel booking. I was so stressed, frustrated and near tears. It was midnight when I went to MADERA reception and spoke with Guest Service Manager Alfred Chow about my predicament. He listened attentively and gave great advice which eventually led to a successful refund via Trip.com - Also, after my one night in a regular room, MADERA upgraded me to a suite on the 27th floor which I was only supposed to get on the last night. The unexpected kind gesture meant less hassle as I didn’t need to change rooms again. It also put me in a more positive mood after a terrible start to my holiday. 👍 January 2025 - It was my first time at MADERA and I booked 4N via an online agent. - After my first night, I wrote down what I needed to be more comfortable as it was winter. - Staff at reception were attending to other guests but when Front Office Manager Fiona Wong looked at me, I passed her the note. After a glance, she nodded and smiled. When I returned to my room later, a heater, a hard pillow and extra blanket have been delivered. A wordless encounter resulted in this outcome and I wasn’t charged extra for these items. It was then I decided MADERA will be my TOP choice going forward.

• Tina (9/5): Couple from New Zealand - Our room was on the 9th floor. Couple Deluxe Queen. Room was great plenty of storage cupboards, draws and space for one of our large suitcases. Plenty of natural light. View was of other buildings but not a biggie. Only one complimentary water, coke & 1 packet of chips on arrival. Coffee/tea refreshed every morning. Daily clean & fresh towels (cleaning staff do an excellent job) Good shower. Air conditioner was good but the fan even at lowest level for us too noisey. Staff helpful when we had minor issues with spa bath, attempted to fix same night but needed extra time to sort which they did the following day after follow up. Didn't have breakfast at Hotel but were still given a cheaper rate to use if we changed our minds. The rooftop view is amazing only downside only open late arvo to midnight I think. Away from traffic so outside noise levels good. Good location for us. MTR 5min or so walk. Lots of food places around and temple street market 25min walk to Avenue of stars which is a nice walk and can use MTR if preferred. Airport bus drop off and pick up not to far from Hotel and we had alot of luggage and managed just fine. Lift. We left luggage on check out to wander around so was very secure. Staff in general, ok. Desk and separate lounger chair. We were still happy overall for second time short visit to beautiful Hong Kong. Thanks Tina & Shane Initially didn't feel overly welcomed on arrival. Would be better if rooftop was more accessible to use to enjoy a morning coffee or eat brought lunch outside with the view. Maybe consider using a pull down secure window so visitors can then access the rooftop and a bin for rubbish. For the price we paid, water to drink in rooms daily would have been appreciated using the reason to cut down on plastic bottles didn't really make sense as we were given cans.

Female staff very helpful and offered assistance to help resolve an issue. No water machines. Lack of USB & Power sockets near bed. Male staff rude, unhelpful and play games on their phones during work time. Gym is in a separate building with limited opening hours and not 24/7.

The check in lady Jennifer was welcoming with a genuine smile, and her recommendations for nearby restaurants were all excellent. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Corning in shower needed repair. Overall lack of attention to detail. Hot water heater looked like a Nespresso machine…. Overly complicated to boil some water. One glass shattered when hot water added. TV setup for Chinese not English speaking people.

The gym was next door and only opened from 730am to 930pm.
• 374elay (10/5): What a amazing experience - I just finished my trip to Hong Kong, and I would like to recommend madera Hotel to you. It is located in the center of Kowloon, close to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, and the price is not as expensive as the Central District. It is close to the subway station, so it is very cheap to take a taxi back to the hotel after a day’s walk. The water temperature and water pressure of the room are strong, and daily necessities such as toothbrushes and cotton swabs are also provided. I am very satisfied with the accommodation experience. Thank you, Miss Elaine at the front desk, for answering many of my questions about Hong Kong and helping me arrange the itinerary. I highly recommend it!!!!!!!

• alexanderwR9553AU (10/5): Exploring in HK with full of love - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at HK as the location is fantastic. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. The Front desk lady Jennifer was incredibly nice and had a genuinely friendly attitude. The staff made it so easy for us to get a taxi whenever we needed one as the assistance was efficient. We will definitely return on our next visit because of the heartfelt service!

• Orator11 (8/5): Will Definitely Be Back - First time here and definitely not the last. The location is great, just off the main Nathan road and with several good food and shopping options around. If you want to get to the busier TST or Mongkok, these are just a few minutes’ walk or a short MTR ride away. The room (1801) was a good size and had all the amenities including a safe and bathrobes. The kingsize bed was comfortable. We were near the lifts at one end of the corridor but it was quiet. The bathroom was divided into sections and featured a bathtub with built-in jacuzzi. Hot water was good but the water pressure did fluctuate a little. The staff are super friendly and efficient. We had just checked out and received a Watsapp minutes after that the missus had left something in the room. We immediately turned the Uber around and they had it waiting at the reception desk.

• KAEDE (9/5): - ・栄えている地域にあり観光に便利 ・大きめのベッドの部屋とシングルサイズのベッドの部屋で寝室が2つあり広々使える ・クローゼットが鏡張りなのでヘアセットなどに便利 ・コンセントの位置が悪くドライヤーする場所に困る (ベッドサイドにUSB タイプCがさせるようになっていたので複数充電したいなどなければ困らないと思う)

• Tiziana Chiara Serafini (6/5): Per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo di più - La posizione vicino metro e in zona centrale Ho pagato per due camere la stessa cifra. Una delle due era più grande e con bagno e vasca idromassaggio. L'altra era più piccola e senza vasca idromassaggio. La prima sera entrando in una delle due camere c'era il riscaldamento acceso e si soffocava di caldo, considerando che non si possono aprire le finestre la prima notte è stata vissuta male. L'altra stanza invece aveva aria condizionata funzionante. Alla reception hanno detto che di notte faceva freddo, evidente invece un guasto in qualcosa. Il personale alla reception e' mal predisposto a chi non conosce bene l'inglese, nessuno sforzo per essere più cordiale e simpatico. Ho notato invece che verso i loro connazionali sono tutt'altro. Sorridono e, probabilmente, vanno maggiormente incontro alle loro richieste

• Giorgia (9/5): Ottima scelta centrale - Bella struttura in posizione centrale con uno staff alla reception davvero gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto un upgrade alla suite che si è rivelata un grande appartamento con due camere da letto, salottino e vista meravigliosa sui grattacieli. La colazione, pagata a parte, non presentava grande scelta: un solo tipo di brioche, niente frutta...
