Isolde (10/5): Great little hotel with super nice staff - We really liked this hotel. The staff is super nice and that made a great experience for us. Please note if you are handicapped there is no elevator and quite a bit of stairs to navigate. The hotel is small and clean and in an area with quite a few restaurants although we really didn’t eat around the hotel much. Room was cleaned daily although we did not have our towels changed daily per our request. I cannot think of anything negative to say. Mosquitos made it impossible to enjoy the jacuzzi and the subway station was down for repairs however that is not the fault of the hotels so just check on the subway close to the hotel before you go, think it is back running in April or May. Loved the staff, very kind.

Our room was excellent - really comfy bed and pillows. The staff made it - all of them without exception, super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and will stay here when next in BA

CATTHERNE (10/5): - This is about the 4th time I’ve stayed at this hotel. It is a small hotel that is convenient to a variety of great restaurants and shops. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It feels like home!
Justine (2/5): - When I booked online for Hotel Finisterra in Buenos Aires, the website stated it had “one room left.” It didn’t say where this room was located, but I discovered it was on the second floor, directly over-looking the street. After five nights at Hotel Finisterra, I cannot state emphatically enough that - unless you are completely immune to excessively loud street noise - do not book any rooms at this hotel that face the street. Otherwise, you will be kept up until 4am every morning.

Laura (10/5): - This hotel is in the Las Cañitas district of Palermo, known for the abundance of restaurants. We stayed a total of 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute! Despite the bustling nightlife right outside the front door, the rooms are in the back and silent for a perfect night's sleep. They provide a delicious continental breakfast for a small additional fee. Rooms are airconditioned and tv and wifi provided. Looking forward to returning!

Adam (10/5): - Great little hotel very near the regional AEP airport but still in a nice location with lots of walkable restaurants and cafes. The people working the desk were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. They offered me a complimentary continental breakfast since my reservation had not included it, which was greatly appreciated since I had to eat quick and get to the airport the next morning.
Sarah (8/5): Friendly staff, not mobility accessible - The front desk staff is very nice, and available to let you in and out of the locked front door 24/7 if you ring the bell. Breakfast was good- a Continental breakfast of cold things, but they will also make you eggs. The room is basic, which is exactly what I paid for and expected. The one important thing to know in advance is that this hotel is not handicapped accessible. There is no elevator and all rooms are up at least one flight of stairs.

Harold (10/5): Comfortablehotel in the heart of Palermo district - This is a comfortable unassuming hotel in the Palmera district. I describe it as "old school"; the rooms make you feel that you're in your grandmother's home. Entrance is a doorway between two cafes; you'll miss it if you're not looking. Reception staff were friendly and courteous. Be prepared for stairs; I didn't see an elevator. There are loads of cafes, bistros, restaurants, groceries in the surrounding blocks.

Breakfast fare seemed like first come first serve as not much left for us although it wasn't end of breakfast period. Neighbourhood requires taxi or transit to visit outside immediate streets because neighbouring areas are not easily walkable.

It in a great location for bars and restaurants. We didn’t have breakfast as there’s two great places a short walk away. Lovely garden at the rear and staff/owners so helpful.

The location is very safe and convenient - close to transport with an array of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. The Hotel itself is a well-designed oasis of calm in a busy city and the staff are always available, helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

Michael&Yvonne (6/5): - The front desk staff were very helpful and it is a handy hotel for the airport. However don't bother with the breakfast. It supposedly started at 7 am, however most of the buffet did not come out until closer to 8 am. We thought it was just a buffet until noticing that other guests were having eggs cooked to order. It took a while to get but we did manage to get our order in. The shocker though was the price for said breakfast. It was 750 pesos (over CAD $15) each which was too much for what was on offer as a dinner costs 500 to 700 pesos per plate. So fine hotel but pass on the breakfast.

The room is small but clean and comfy. It is on a street with lots of restaurant choices. Pretty area. The hotel has a little outside roof terrace which looked lovely- it also has a little bar. We arrived late and left early but we were happy with everything and would stay again. The only issue was a loud air con unit in our room.

Service was friendly and efficient, the room was comfortable if not luxurious, and the neighborhood is quite interesting--an upscale location reminiscent of New York's SoHo. There are convenient restaurants nearby and I did not find it a noisy area. I would be quite pleased to stay there again.

Earplugs didn't even help and I ended up getting 4 hours of intermittent sleep, even after being awake for 28 hours straight! I asked the gal at the desk what the noise was and she said it was a "machine of the roof of the restaurant next door". Bummer, because everything else was wonderful! Nice patio with hot tub, air conditioner, wifi, Friendly staff, very close to the domestic AEP airport.

It is perfect if you are out sightseeing during the day and are only going to sleep at night in the hotel because the hotel is simple. There is not much to do at the hotel. Renata Lopes (4/5): Very noisy neighborhood and not 2 Km from airport - I have booked the hotel just to stay for 5 hours during the night, since we were connecting to another flight very early in the morning. The first surprise was the distance to the airport. It is not 2Km to aeroporque, it is like 15 minutes by taxi without traffic. It is localed in a area full of bars. As we had a room that was just in front of the hotel, it was impossible to sleep due to the noise.
Philip Baron (10/5): Great hotel, Great location. - Small beautiful boutique hotel near Palermo. Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Location was great and staff was very helpful.
Matias (10/5): Great hotel, avoid rooms facing the street - Great place with lots of nice restaurants near by. Clean and fast WIFI. Just avoid the room facing the street as it can be loud due to noise from all the restaurant patrons on the street and traffic.
Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasing Very Short Stay - We only stayed one night, arrived late and left very early, so we didn't explore the hotel facilities. It is in a good location, with a few restaurants and takeaway food shops nearby. The hotel staff organised a taxi for us and followed up to make sure it was coming when it was supposed to, which was nice. The only issue I can think of is that the airconditioner (heating) was a bit loud, but it was hardly needed so we turned it off.
abby (8/5): great location, loud at night - Hotel Finisterra, Is a great small hotel in Buenos Aires. Problem is, it looks quaint and the street it is on is amazing, but it gets loud at night and the rooms in the front on the street are terribly noisy. If you plan on staying out it's great, but if you are looking for some rest, it is probably better to stay in a back room or somewhere else.
