• kennethr587 (8/5): Hotel Taj gets 4 stars - We stayed at the hotel Taj resorts in Agra for three nights. We found the accommodations nice and the service excellent. We were somewhat disappointed because there was no hot water in the showers which the management was not able to fix. Downstairs there’s a art gallery where you can watch marble being carved in the fashion used at the Taj Mahal. Very interesting. The rooftop restaurant is wonderful. We loved it. Breakfast was just OK and for American taste not so good. The hotel is very centrally located in Agra and that made it a wonderful place from which to launch out for our visit to the Taj Mahal. We’re glad we’re glad we came to stay at the hotel
• peytonw888 (2/5): SCAM, Do Not Book - They cut off responses when I needed my refund. This is a scam, do not book. There are many other places in Agra that have great views of the Taj Mahal and are reputable. Please do not stay here or you will be scammed.

• DelaineJ4 (10/5): Raj Cafe is the Best! - Raj Cafe attached to the Hotel which we didn't stay in, was everything you'd like in Agra. The Host is a treat.. so typically Muslim, friendly and helpful.. The atmosphere of the cafe/restaurant is classic, simple but warm.. He sells the BEST masala chai spices and gives the best masala chai in town.. he doesn't put any sugar in his masala chairs.. only externally offers it separately. I'd thoroughly recommend this restaurant for the real deal. Prices are great too. His cafe is also close to the TAJ.

• ole-olesandra (10/5): Amazing atmosphere - I was staying here at this September and I just wanted to thank you for the Mr Prashant he is menager there and amazing Mr Jimmy thay really know how to make special charm around and I really felt myself like at home. The construction it's not too funcy but atmosphere is such a great. The price is not too high like in other places and this hotel situated just like 7 minutes away from the Taj Mahal so that more than awesome . Those guys halped me with the tickets to Jaipur and Udaipur, with souvenirs by the normal price and advises about all the city Agra. For sure I'll come back here for the next time. Thank you guys you made my stay extremely wonderful!!!

• thomastravelsaround (6/5): Decent place to stay - Perfect location directly at the South Gate of Taj Mahal. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Could get us every information we needed without trying to sell anything or sending us to a ‘friend’. It’s cheap: 1’000INR per night for two to three people AC room. Unfortunately the hotel has had better times. It is completely used down and falls apart. The covers are stained, the pillows are hard and the mattress thin. The bathroom was broken (yes, nothing worked properly). If you need a cheap place to sleep and helpful information: Go there! There is no better place in that price range. If you are picky regarding hygiene: Look around for more expensive places.
• Daniel (4/5): - Horrible property, VERY dirty. Book a car and they only gave half of what we paid to the driver so driver took the longest route just to save some toll money. People taking advantage of others shouldnt be in the hospitality business.
• bananomeridiano (6/5): Run-down and overpriced but nice staff - I will start saying the young guy at the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful with us. Among other nice gestures, he woke up at 5 am to give us breakfast because our train was leaving early. I am giving a not bad review just because of him. On the hand, the building is old and not well maintained. The whole place needs some painting and cleaning work. The bathroom was dirty and looked like 50 years old. Wifi only works in the reception area :( Still they charged us 800 INR for the AC room which is a lot considering the hotel lousy condition. They should seriously consider investing some time and work in improving and brightening up the whole place.
• mkvudz (2/5): The worst hotel stay of my life! - I was there for one night stay with my friend and had made payment online already. I had booked executive room which had clearly mentioned AC room with free water bottle on Agoda website by hotel. after reaching hotel they gave me different standard fan room with broken non working AC. I showed my online booking confirmation for executive room with AC to reception guy but he just said that he can't help in that matter and can only provide non AC room for that booking! since I had already made online payment so had no choice but to stay in that room. In the night time hundred of mosquito came inside room because that broken AC on wall had big open space around it for them to come in! after waking up in middle night went to use bathroom and there was no water running! I was running like crazy around lobby to find hotel staff to complain about no water in bathroom but could not find anyone. so basically it was one of the worst hotel stay experience in my lifetime! And yes not to forget dirty bathroom as well of this hotel! Ihave even stayed in hotel rooms of 100rs as well in India and even they were better than this hotel! All I can say is don't just book hotel room here blindfolded because of location! you can find many nice hotel for same price in nearby locality and save your hard earned money. staying in Raj bread and breakfast hotel was a mental harrasment of self! never ever going to book there again!

• Munish (2/5): Worst hotel evn see in my life - AC was not cooling. Cold drinking water not available. Nothing to eat except Dal in dinner. BF was complementry but served only 1 parantha. We asked for early breakfast but they denied by saying that cook will come at 8 and you will get BF at 8.30 only. Staff was not good. Overall, we faced a lot of problems during this stay. Will not recommend to anyone.
• rheecab (10/5): awesomeness of owner - nice and clean rooms very friendly owner Mr. rishikesh from delhi running this hotel they have a small and nice restaurant downstairs with kind oof choices tasty food it is around 2 minute walk though the taj enterance gate.
• 37averyh (2/5): Worst Hotel Ever. - Way overpriced for what we got. Dirty rooms, stains on the bed and pillows. Only given one blanket (no sheets) and one dirty pillow. Also given towels with brown spots (looked fresh). Manager was nice but other staff wasn't.

• Maike_doll (10/5): Real nice place - We stayed for three nights. It was an excellent place, friendly staff, tasty food and only 50 meters from Taj Mahal. Anything we asked for was immediately arranged. There is a quite rooftop place with a view of the south gate and part of the Tay Mahal. I would recommend this to anyone.
• sunilrohit1980 (2/5): Sunil Singh - Terrible hotel they only cheat there guests as there are no superior or suite rooms in this hotel they are just bluffing people. Please see the attached actual photos of the so called superior room. I booked it through Goibibo and even on complaining they too did not responded, for future would completely avoid Goibibo for any bookings. In all the rooms there is no cable or WiFi supply as claimed, the toilets and rooms are smelling like municipal toilets, no telephone in room even they do not respond on continues calling for water towel or any thing. Request all sites to please avoid this hotel in your list.
• Atri_Kundu (6/5): It is OK... - The biggest advantage this hotel has - proximity to the South gate (opens at 8 AM) of Taj. Rooms are OK, bathroom is tiny. Service is slow (asked for towels and it took more than an hour with three repetitive requests). You can not go to the roof, because there are monkeys and they would attack you, moment you step in. Wifi was with OK speed. Food is very bad and very expensive - sample this, a plain omelet costs 60 bucks. If you just want to see Taj, in the morning, stay here.
• Florence (4/5): - Hotel very basic.Room dirty.Shower did not work properly. Great location. 3 minutes walk to South Gate of Taj Mahal. Staff friendly and helpful.

• 575kate_inas (8/5): Good choice - Very good location, nice stuff. especially Prashan Yadau the receptionist was VERY helpful. Tasty food and comfortable rooms with AC. Reasonable price. Nice roofview but DO NOT go there with food. There are MEAN monkeys. :)
• Abdul Hadi As ad (6/5): The Most Near Hotel To Taj Mahal. - This hotel is very near to South Gate of Taj Mahal, just 25 meter. The service was good but the facility in the room a little disappointed. The cable TV was not functioned and the water in the bathroom was so rusted with no toiletries given. For breakfast it quite good. For short time, it recommended but not for long stay.
• ＫＯＨＪＩ (8/5): タージマハルが目の前のスタッフが最高のホテル - タージマハルの南門入場チケットまで１００ｍ以内の好立地ホテルです。自分は朝食付き１泊役２０００円の部屋に泊まりました。チェックインより早い１３時ごろの到着でしたが部屋に通してくれ、荷物を置くことができました。部屋の施設は正直言ってひどいです。１２月の年末年始に行きましたが、部屋内は寒くブランケット２枚しか支給されませんでした。風呂のシャワーはお湯が出ません。ほぼ水のぬるま湯が出てきたのでお湯かと聞いたらそうだといわれたのであきらめました。併設されているレストランは値段も高くもなく、安くもないですがおいしいです。ホテルスタッフが全員親切で日本並みのサービスをしてくれます。おかわりやお勧めお土産、観光の注意点やトゥクトゥクの手配など手厚く歓迎してくれました。特にジミーという親しみやすいおじさんと若いマネージャーはすばらしかったです。夜行列車が遅れた際も、最新列車情報やトゥクトゥクの手配など深夜２時まで一緒に対応してくれました
• sumeet (2/5): worst experience ever - Hotels.com excutive did booking in taj galaxy for me n whn I visited hotel they said they dont hve booking by my name.after a hour your staff relocated me to the worst ever hotel I have seen in my entire life.after charging 2000rs how can u relocate me to any property u like.bcoz of your staff I have to return delhi at the same night.it was a blunder to trust your company because of wht me n my family lost a precious evening and money as well.
• 한상훈 (2/5): 호텔 전체가 엉망 - 호텔캄의 예약 가격과 당일의 숙박요금이 차이가 많고 화장실의 수도가 새어 밤새 물소리가 나고 습한데다가 추워서 감기가 흠뻑 들었어요. 게다가 세탁요금도 일반 가게보다 맣이 받는 등, 모든 게 혼돈의 상태라 그 이후의 예약된 호텔을 취소하게 되었어요.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The experience was not good. I booked this hotel for 21st and 22nd Dec. But my train was late for 22 hrs due to heavy fog. I reached there on 22nd 5 PM though I have to pay two days room rent. I was promised for free pick up from Agra Fort station. But they charged me for pick up even though I intimated about the timing.
• Alex (4/5): Not as described but close to Taj Mahal - We paid extra than we normally would for a room because we expected to have an 'Executive Room' with ensuite bathroom with bathtub, large room with sofa, kettle, and other conveniences as advertised online. The room was not as described at all. It was a standard room, a bit dirty, but comfortable enough for us. We were disappointed as it was our anniversary and wanted somethings special so we complained but were offered a room that was almost identical except this new one had a leaky shower. We refused and decided to put up with it for the last couple of nights we booked.Service was ok, but would not put trust in management as they are keen to just take money from the regular tourists without giving what is offered. It is however, 30 seconds away from Taj Mahal South Gate. View from rooftop is blocked by the gate. You can get better views from nearby hotels and restaurants.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Visitor to Agra - The hotel location is superb for someone visiting Taj Mahal. However few enhancements would add lot of value to the hotel such as entrance cleaning and bed sheet cleaning.
