Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (8/5): - Great location. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
- Yogeswaran (8/5): - Outside noise can hear from inside room
- NIKLAUS (10/5): - Not the best for grab pick ups. Amazing for your nocturnal needs. Very spacious bathroom and views from the insides (get a higher floor). Soundproofing is not the best but relatively decent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very close to pavillion n in the heart of bukit bintang
Love the cleanliness, hospitality n easy to move around..
- Jason (6/5): - Rooms don’t have a fridge, lighting in the room at night is extremely poor.. you need to have the bathroom light on to see clearly in the room.
They also neglect to mention the large nightclub opposite the hotel that puts a constant “doof doof doof” till 2-3am
Had almost no sleep the 2 nights I was there!!! If you want quiet then don’t stay here!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rooms are very small and if staying more than a few days would get annoying.
Location is excellent, 3 minutes walk to monorail, surrounded by shopping malls and food street/bar areas was less than 10 minutes walk away.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We like the location however we don't really like the environment as it is too deem... Even the room..
- Janet (8/5): - Superb location! Walking distance to Bintang Walk n Pavilion.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Is my second time to stay this hotel. Nice location just walk distance to pavilion, lot 10, sungei wang, Fahrenheit..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Agood servis relevant with a price
- SH (4/5): - Everything in this hotel is great except it is very noisy. Noise is coming from the next door hotel AC which is the great millennial hotel. this noise is constant and annoying so if you are sensitive to noise you should avoid staying in this hotel because you cannot sleep at all :(
- Kay (10/5): - The location was great, walking distance to most malls in Bukit Bintang. However, the room was a little smaller than I'd like, but no major complaints there - it is a boutique hotel after all. Overall, a great stay, and I would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): So So...... - Room lights a bit dim and surrounded area a bit strange. You can hear the loud music midnight as the pub just opposite the property.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty room - Cockroaches in the room, shower everywhere
- Nic (8/5): - I like the location. If possible, ask for higher floor to avoid noise at night ...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location is good, 2 mins walk to the major malls and walking street while not in the middle of it. Next to a night club that might be noisy at night on weekends.
- Samuel (8/5): - Nearby shopping district, traffic noise until early morning
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The plus point is that the place is cleaned up the very next day. However, the room is a little too small despite it being one for 2 people. The soundproofing wasn't good too. We were on the sixth (highest) floor and I could hear whoever was walking past the alley the building is situated next to when they talked.
- Curt (6/5): - Stayed 3 or 4x times in the past 3-4 yrs, most recent is a 5 nights at end of April 2019. 4 stars IF YOU’RE on a tight budget, with some serious negatives noted below. If you can pay a little more, stay elsewhere.
Good - Clean room, friendly staff, great location, 4 mins walk to Pavilion mall, 3 mins walk from MRT station, and less than 5 mins from the Bukit Bintang monorail station. Nice large bathroom (about 1/3 off the room)!
Bad - The room is fine for one person but too small for two people - two feet space around the bed to move around (where to put large suitcase? They give you two hangers on the wall, no closet space).
Other big negative is that there's a bar or disco nearby that plays very very loud music that you can still hear with ear plugs. Their music turns off about 2AM. Ear plugs help but can’t block the noise. I sleep with ear plugs on every night here. Folks who have sleep or noise issues should avoid this hotel. On my last stay, I asked for a room facing away from the music, and I still could hear it ;/
As of April 2019 (my most recent stay) - management made two BAD decisions.
1 - they NO LONGER provide small hand/face towels, you only get the large bath towel! Seriously, that is just penny pinching!
2 - room have NO phones! You must walk to front desk to deal with issues. This is also a safety risks to guests.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Water Heater seemed not working
Shampoo & bath gel was not to my expectation
- P.T. (10/5): - Overall is okay. Clean and nearby the shopping mall. Very convenience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very convenient location. Decent stay for 1 night security level of the property is quite high. Enjoy the stay
- BN (8/5): - Location is great for Bukit Bintang. Public transit so near. Lots of shopping and night life. Price can be good if sale is online. Wifi can be weak. Bring ear plugs because outside can be noisy until 02h. The place is starting to show wear as I’ve stayed there a few times.
- Jennifer (10/5): What a great little place! - We loved our stay at this boutique hotel and would definitely stay there again. Rooms are small so I would suggest upgrading. The entire hotel is stunningly beautiful with subdued lighting.. The location is first class. Right next to shopping malls, Bukit Bintang rail and monorail. 5 minute walk to Jalan Alor, the foodie road.
- Jose Miguel (6/5): All about location - The only really goo thing about this hotel it's that is in the middle of the action for this busy and trendy sector of the city, i think the information regarding this hotel is misleading. The room is super dark, very humid, at least the day we stay they were having a huge party next door until 3 am in the morning, so its very noisy. Also they have a policy of leaving a deposit what makes no sense since they have information of your card and also was not mention anywhere during the booking. No real breakfast, they give you a discount coupon for a restaurant infront of the hotel. So i guess is for people who like to party and just crash into a bed for next day, luckly we book it with a discount because with this type of hotel the full fee its too high for what the real offer is. If i knew what would be i preffer to stay in a hostel.
- G (8/5): - Just behind Grand Millenium, tucked away in the alley next to Bukit Bintang streets. Felt safe to walk in at night as there is late night eatery there. Convenient to walk to all shopping n train stations, all only 5 minutes' walk to reach. Room cleanliness to improve. Saw a small cockroach on the first night and toilet not cleaned properly, with dust.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The air con does not work very well. We stayed in the room for 5+ hrs and even at the lowest temp setting, the air con was not strong enough to cool down the tiny room. We asked to switch rooms which the staff kindly accommodated. The second room's aircon was slightly better but still really warm. The lobby was cooler than our room. The only real light in the room is in the bathroom. I had to use my phone flashlight to look through my luggage, it is very dark inside. We were on flr 1 facing a busy street so it was loud at night. Great location, central and walking distance to everything.
- TEIK CHOOI (8/5): good location - location is great. staff is friendly and helpful. small room with a big bathroom comparable.
- Siew (6/5): Slightly noisy in the room - The room I was staying was very noisy as there are some sort of things happening out there and bars are nearby. The noise was intruding hence it makes the sleep a bit hard. Also, do note the design of the room is dark. Nevertheless, very comfortable room without the noise.
- Tuck Choong (6/5): Decent location with bad sound proofing. - It was a great place to stay if don't mind the hiphop deep bass music from surrounding area till 3am...and people outside shouting happily can be heard clearly from my room. I just could not sleep until 4am. Oh well...
- Lucas (4/5): Nothing special, but the area is perfect. - Hotel is probably a 3-star rather than a 4-star as advertised. Hot water wasn’t working.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Strategic location - Good location at bukit bintang area. Walking distance to Pavilion Mall, mrt/monorail station. There are convinient store nearby and also fastfood (mcd) and restaurant nearby.
- CaiL (8/5): - Nice hotel however the room with one double bed is quite small. Overall, I would like to go back anytime soon!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Stay at Le Apple - a no frill hotel and if you just need a place to stay, it is ok
- Verified traveler (10/5): Boutique hotel near shopping areas - Boutique hotel. Cheap, Good and Clea. It is located behind Millennium KL. Very convenient to all shopping areas in Bukit Bintang. Recommended.
- Hui Hua (6/5): Not so good - Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Bed area is dark as there are only reading lights and no ceiling lights near the beds. Corridors are very dark. We had to change room after Day 1 as the toilet bowl could not flush property even after repairs by the staff. The other bedroom seems okay but each time when we return to our room, there is a stale damp smell as if the ventilation is not working.
- Cai Ying (6/5): Poor soundproof + Located in front of a club - The room was ok however the hallway was very dark as only night use of hallway lights were used in this hotel. There is a club located right in front of this hotel (with poor soundproof system) had caused an unpleasant stay for my family.
- wisit (8/5): Small hotel in a great location - It’s in perfect location in the shopping area and close to monorail station. Very convenient to summits around. The zen single bed room is rather small but it’s ok. Shower area has no curtain so bathroom get wet all over
- CHEW (8/5): ok - very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was fine n calm to get sleep.its just no breakfast for this hotel n no transport to /from airport directly.
- Alfian (4/5): There's only 1 pillow - I'm used to sleeping with firm hard pillow....the pillow that's in the room is so soft and only a pillow. Shouldn't it be 2 pillow instead of 1 eventough if it is a single room? And also had to pay $200 deposit plus $20 tourist tax. Is tourist tax compulsory?
- Ali (8/5): Comfort hotel in city. - Good location, the rooms abit noisy with th club next door, music ends at 2-3 am..
- Jefferson (10/5): - Very convinient location and very good service. If ill go back to KL, ill probably stay there again!
- sophia (8/5): - The overall experience is good. And location is at the central.
- Tip Keng (4/5): Lack of training staff - Overall is ok. But one of the day, the cleaner took away my fitness card that I slot in the card holder to cold down my room while I am out as the room need about 1 hr to cold down. I report to the front table and they ask me to come back on next day morning. Not even apologies and they should train their staff not to take away anything belong to Guess from the room. That is stealing !!
- Ken (4/5): Not reccomended for family - Room too small...booking room with queen bed...no wardrobe...limited space to walk in inside the room...need to paint the room with light colour so that the room will look bigger..too dark n feel so small room because painted wiyh dark colour
- sandra (8/5): Great location for solo travelers. - Great location! Room was small but clean & big enough for solo traveler. Even though I only had 1 night lay over from flight it was well worth the drive.
- nic (10/5): Second stay, same good location and price - Lovely location and staff. Room is clean. Weekday is better because of no loud music at night from the nearby disco!
- nic (8/5): Great location - A bit of noise from the nearby club at night, but overall great simple and convenient hotel
- Debbie (10/5): - Room clean. Staff very friendly. Pleasant stays
- Jenn (6/5): - space too small, felt not comfortable
- Curt (8/5): - This was my 2nd time at Le Apple, staff and room cleanliness continues to be 5 stars excellent! My only complaint is a repeat from a year ago when I last stayed there - the hotel is simply located too close to some bars/clubs so that LOUD music can easily be heard on Fri and Sat night that doesn't stop until about 230AM. I sleep with ear plugs on and still can hear the music sometimes. I got a deluxe room with a queen size bed, all is fine except room size is tight for two people to move around, in addition to luggage that has to go somewhere on the floor space. There's also basically NO place to hang or store your clothes (just leave it in your suitcase and take out as needed).
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointment - i left a few items of great importance and i was rushing to catch a flight. they do not offer courier services for my now lost forever items despite my offer to pay. how hard is it to mail t an address i'm giving?
- Thanut (8/5): Good location - Great thing is the hotel location. Near the pavillion shopping mall and jalan alor.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice, clean, convenient - I had a great stay..comfortable bed , convenient location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I will recommend this hotel to my friend, but i will tell them this hotel no parking.
- Chin Tho (8/5): Comfortable with security in a shopping district - A very good hotel right in the middle of shopping district and night life. Yet the stay was quiet with absolutely no noise disturbance. Very good security where your room card is the security access through the door to the lift. Recommend for those who wants to shop and work at the same time.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible - This Hotel was one of the Worse experience. .everything they say on website is fake ..
The Room is one of the Tiniest smallest cramped up space ....
The Staff was one of the Worse ever ...
Just Not caring for any of your problems and very Rude
No phone
No Fridge
In your too
AC very very poor ...
Made me swear
Room was so small it felt like cramped up cube claustrophobic. ..
All Dark black furnishings
False Pics in Website
U could easily get better hotels right next to it on same rate ....
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice very close to shopping mall and monorail. - Good and very pleasent staff. Easy to go other place with public transport. Near with shopping mall.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Budget hotel in city centre - Overall, I enjoyed my 3 - night stay. On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located next to major shopping malls, eateries, and the monorail and GO KL bus top is just across the road from
the hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful and you are instantly made to feel welcome
the minute you set foot in the hotel.
On the downside, the room was very small but I guess it was to be expected considering I'd booked
a single room and rates were low for the location. The room was also very dark, so much so I couldn't
even see where to insert the key card in the wall slot to turn on the lights!
If you are planning a short stay and don't want to spend too much on a hotel, Le Apple Boutique in BB
is a good choice and I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
- Lenny (8/5): - The room a bit smelly when u open the door, wifi ok, location ok. In front of hotel got food court.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - RM200 deposit for me is to much, anyway its a good hotel
- joel (6/5): It’s noisy - The location is excellent. The room is small simple and sufficient. Hotel staff are friendly.
The only issue, and as many others have pointed out, is the noise from the disco in front of the hotel. I’ve requested a quiet room, which face the back ally, and still you can hear the disco.
Do remember that the hotel takes a 200$ cleaning deposit.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonable price hotel near popular shopping centr - The hotel near popular shopping centre.
But at night, opposite disco is an annoyance until 3am.
- B (8/5): Great location - It's the area I wanted and is a good budget option if you snoop online forr a good deal.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money in excellent location - The hotel was very clean, in excellent location. The only downside was that the room was a bit noise on Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Julia (10/5): Good Stay! - Location is awesome! Just a few steps from Monorail station, GOKL green line (free bus service) and inside Bukit Bintang. The staff were helpful and easy to communicate with. I found the room darker than the usual and the deposit high (RM200), but would stay again as my overall experience was nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Usually I don’t care if the room is small because I don’t stay in the room I just need it to take a shower and sleep, as long as the room is clean I am fine with it. Well, I didn’t think my room was clean, especially the bathroom. Plus, there is a club right across the hotel and of course my room was facing the club, so the loud music didn’t stop til 330am on the weekend. The third nite I booked WOLO which one minute away from this hotel, I paid for the same price but the room is much bigger n nicer then this hotel.
- Lee (8/5): perfect location - For those wanna shop around lo yat, Sg wang, Pavi and jogging at KLCC, travel using MRT n MR. This is a good hotel. Hot shower is good and very reliable. Security is good. However some hotel regulation was ignored due to irresponsible guest. We encounter people smoking inside the room where non-smoking level is.
- Reza (10/5): Cute, Tiny home with awesome location - Location is the best. Staff are very responsive and friendly. Rooms are small but very cute, clean and comfortable. I will go back there on my next trip
- royce (6/5): Near shopping only - No parking lot. Not convenient
Sad on it
Pls keep it up
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Was check in the room .. small and noisy outside . Don't recommend this hotel ..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - small but good enough for a frills free stay. good location from the monorail & new MRT. walking distant to Pavilion mall
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It’s perfect the only down side it’s the Normal room doesn’t come with mini fridge only premium room have fridge...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and comfortable hotel. - No complain everything was okay for me. Check in and the room condition.
- Lein (6/5): - Hotel location is ideal for those who are into shopping, malls like Pavilion, Lot 10, Fahrenheit are just within walking distance!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - You can go to the toilet and have a shower on the same spot . Floor more comfortable than bed
- Jeffrey (6/5): Poor Customer Service (Evening) - I didn't like how I had to pay some kind of hidden "tourism tax" that was presented to me upon arrival. Also, the deposit is another thing that I was not told about in advance. I told the gentleman working in the evening at the reception desk on the second night that I needed a taxi. He said that if he calls one it will cost more than if I just go out to the street. I went out to the street with an escort and we were unable to get a taxi. I came back in the hotel and requested that he call a taxi and he refused. I was almost late getting to the Mid Valley Mall to meet with a friend for dinner. I later found out that I could have taken the metro train. That would have been nice to have been told that by the reception worker. Poor customer service. He also didn't know much about dining options in the area. The gentleman working during the day was excellent and provided exceptional customer service. I travel the world and I always review hotels, restaurants, airports, and even cities. Kuala Lumpur is a great place and this hotel is okay, but they need to be more clear with their guests and also be more competent about local dining, shopping, and transportation options to newcomers. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not bad - No Bar fridge provided. Hotel not located on the main street so less noisy.
- jess (4/5): Cheap, safe but very small rooms - I booked a Deluxe room but when I walked into it, I was shocked. It was like a cubicle. There was not even a wardrobe and not even enough space around the bed to put my bags on the floor.
I had to immediately ask the staff to put me in a better room. Luckily a so called Premium room was available. So I paid extra 100 dollars on the spot to get the premium room for a week. This room was ok. Had a couch, a bar fridge and a comfy bed.
Air-cons are not very powerfull. Had to pump them to full to get some cooling.
Biggest issue was the water usage. The shower just drizzled, just enough for you to get under it and shower yourself.
There is Blue Boy gay club just outside the hotel. So on Friday nights, it gets quite noisy.
- RQ (8/5): close to many malls - The hotel is comfortable and nice. I love the friendly hotel staff who goes all out to help meet our needs and requests. The bed is also very comfortable.
- Mohamed (6/5): Very Near to Monorail Station - Nice location very near to Air Asia-Bukit Bintang Monorail station and near to a lot of shops and restaurants. I booked single room; it's enough for one person, bathroom is good, room have window to open and that good, the problem that there is no closet for clothes and no mini refrigerator. Staff friendly, when the water bottle finished, they provided me with 2 extra ( water free).
- Rhea (8/5): Road trip to KL - location was great-can walk to malls and accessible by train as well, the restaurants and malls at the Bukit Bintan street close till late, but we had parking issues, the room was clean and comfy (for the price we paid it was great).
- shenen (6/5): - Nice boutique hotel with all amenities required for short stay are provided
100m to Pavillion & etc so very lively but can be too noisy at night due to nearby pub/music
- Gary (8/5): Fine for a couple of nights. - Perfect for a short stay. Single room was small with no view but it was good for a couple of nights. Very reasonable rates. In a very busy area but just off the main street so no noise issues.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Best in this budget - Amazing stay
- Angeli (10/5): Very accessible, very near to monorail and malls - Excellent service!
Very clean and cozy room. Good for a short trips accesible to all!
- Alauddin (2/5): I am stonglly discurraging not to stay. - Reservations demand hi sequrity deposit, room is super small, no soap in toilet. Its not a good stay.
- Deb (4/5): Beware 2 hotels with same name in KL - Very small room with no space to unpack and put anything away. Fine as we only there 2 nights but not ideal for any longer.
Location good for mall.
No view/light from windows on lower floors
- Verified traveler (10/5): Easy access transport - Nice stay and easy to go everywhere in Kuala Lumpur
- David (8/5): Great location near eatery. - The phone in the room was not working and the safety deposit was broken. I asked for room changed and the room on second floor was better. Great location for city shopping. Value for money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Convenient but not recommended - Not recommended. The wall is painted with black and the lighting is dim. No proper lighting. Looks like pitch dark in the room. No kettle in the room but have coffee sachet and tea sachet. No refrigerator. Bed is hard and uncomfortable
- Vicky (8/5): Good location - The location is good walking distance to pavilion.. Hotel is new.. But the room is quite small and bathroom is quite big.. One thing feel not comfortable is the interior of the hotel is too dark, and the room have too few light..
- cT (8/5): Convenient
- Very convenient to move around, near to monorail station.
Hotel is near to shopping malls, eg.Pavillion / Berjaya Time Square.
Walkable to KLCC
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's very nice hotel. I feel relax and calm when enter to my room. The staff also friendly and helpfull.
- Benjamin (8/5): Clean and modern. - Have been Hotel hopping for weeks, and this place was my favorite. Small but efficient, modern room. Street noise was a bit of an issue.
- Ahmad Suhaiman (10/5): - Speechless .. No Comments
- Sham (8/5): Center of the city - Easy to go anywhere by walk and monorail. Go to shopping. Sight seeing.
- ALICE (6/5): - The room furnishing & space is bad. The type of floor is tile which is not suitable for hotel. A lot of things started worn out already.
- Iris (8/5): Good value for money for a short stay - I booked 2 nights here and found this place a good value for money. I had a single room which was enough for me, I only came here to sleep. The hotel was easy to find and it's in a great location, walkable distance from most places of interest. I found the hotel staff friendly and approachable. The entire hotel is quite dark, though this didn't bother me as I was only going there to sleep. The bed was comfortable enough, A/C worked, room had a safe, a mug for coffee and a bottle of water (though my water was missing on the first day, there are no water fountains in the hotel as per earlier reviews!) the bathroom/wet room is modern, small toiletry samples were provided. Wifi signal was a bit temperamental and disconnected a few times. Only negative feedback was that I asked for a room on a higher floor in hope of quiet, but there was an A/C unit right outside my window that was on all the time and it was terribly loud. I heard it through earplugs. Apart from this, I chose the place because it was cheap and at a great location and I definitely got my money's worth.
Staff also stored my luggage after checkout for free. Oh, bear in mind there's a 200MYR deposit on arrival that you get back when checking out.
