Guest Reviews
- Hoa Xuân (10/5): - Khách sạn mới, sạch sẽ. Nhân viên rất dễ thương. Mình còn được khách sạn tặng trái cây 😊
- Cu?ng (10/5): - Phòng sạch sẽ va nhân viên phục vụ chuyên nghiệp. Đặc biệt vi trí trung tâm rất tiện lợi di chuyển
- FOLLOW MEE - BINO (10/5): - Phòng mới và decor rất đẹp. Vị trí thuận lời, gần chợ Bến Thành và ga tàu Metro.
- James (4/5): - I no stay the hotel and check out immediately because it so dirty, shower cannot use, ant around and I ask for refund.. Waiting for reply from hotel. Picture and room so much different.
- Erik Mario Marcel (2/5): Stay away from this crap - Worst accommodation we experienced ever. Room dirty airo cools 2 degrees on the max only hot water when the sun is shining. And so on and so on. We stayed 3 days and did not see the room service. We asked several times to change towels and begged for toilet paper. Expedia must quit to work with hotels like this.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Ser mycket bättre ut på bilderna än i verkligheten. Ofräscht och slitet, luktade rök och gammalt boende i rummet
- Chris (2/5): - the master bed room small and low roofing even you can reach your hand on , bath room toilet old and easy to make noice. the room unbreathable and smell, overall not recommend for tourists
- Anh V (4/5): - Cũ kỹ, dịch vụ yếu
- Uyen (6/5): Not good - Room was not too clean and didnt look anything like in the app so be aware of that. The AC remote didnt work and there was no phone to call down to service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Why do you force me to add more please delete this window or I will never reply again I detest being forced into answering things I don't want to answer
- Thi Hong Nhung (2/5): bad service - Very bad service. The hotel lost guests' luggage
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff, checked in very late at night and helped out settled in
- SanT (10/5): - well kept and staff are excilent , except need improve on bell boys need to hepl out guest .
for the rate and the location is very very good .
- Russell (2/5): Shabby, old, decrepit. - In all honesty it deserves a level lower than one star.
Bed is old pillows terrible.
I have nothing good to say
I left my charger in Hotel and could not communicate by email or phone as they dont speak english or reply.
The street is a better option
- Verified traveler (4/5):
- Verified traveler (8/5): Correct - Relatively cheap for Saigon with a good situation.
Need to improve the rooms and facilities, it's like a old hostel. Staff is great.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Average - The furniture look old and almost broken. Room so small.
- Jeffrey (4/5): Bla - So so. Would not stay there again but I wouldn’t go to Saigon again either.
- harris (10/5): - Just okay
- Verified traveler (4/5): You get what you pay for! - We booked it based on previous reviews but should have known better. It’s a budget hotel so you get what you paid for.
Our room was the standard no window. The AC was making noises all night, the washroom was moldy and leaking a little from a hole in the ceiling.
There were little roaches in the washroom and near our bed area. So don’t bring any type of food or sweet drinks back to your room! They will surround it within minutes!
This is my only bad review that I’ve had to write for any hotel and I’ve been traveling Asia for 5 months now.
It was a good location thou!
- Eddie (6/5): It's central tho. - Exactly everything we needed - somewhere small, central and private to keep our stuff and explore Saigon. Wouldn't stay here if you needed an actual hotel room and its facilities.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value - Nice little hotel. Worth the money. Great location.
- Jiangxun (4/5): Disappointing stay - check in with hotel.com receipt but was told no more room and had to move to another hotel, Mai Phai 209 pham ngu lao D1. Very small old looking room and not clean. No towel was provided until requested for it. Would rather top up another few hundred thousand dong to stay better room.
- Peter Fraser (8/5): fantastic little family run hotel - I moved into the sen hotel after staying in a dirty hotel nearby, And I'm so glad I did.
The Sen hotel, although being a basic hotel, was very comfortable and clean, and the staff are fantastically helpful and friendly, they also provide tour guide help from within the hotel which is great, I didn't need to use the tour service as I was visiting a friend in Vietnam who was taking me around, but it's great to know that the service is right there in your hotel if you need it.
I will definitely be staying here again when I come back.
Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.
- John (10/5): Nice Hotel in Saigon - Staff was wonderful- very polite and very friendly- very very cheap, and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Vietnam.
- yew hoon (4/5): Unfriendly Staff - Hotel overbooked and was transfer to another horrible hotel 1 km away. On the return trip from upcountry, check in Sen Hotel again around 1.30pm and this time room A/C not working. Counter staff refused to change room, instead they wanted us to wait for 3 hours for them to fix it. Room has not window so we just had to roam the street with our tired body and soul.
- Stephen (6/5): Nice staff, clean, good location - Nice staff, clean hotel, good location close to the backpacker area
- JAEMIN (6/5): Just a private room to rest. - Just wanted to rest for few days after 45Days of Border hoping that started from HCMC: Phnom Penh - Sihanouk vill - Papaya - Bankok - Vientiene - Vang Vieng - Pakse - Gia Lai - HCMC. That is just what I got staying in a small room window less (not so much of the busy street noise)
- Phat (4/5): Need more improvement - Nothing special with that.
- Renate (6/5): The location is the best feature.
- The shower was rusty and didn't look appealing. The TV didn't have a remote control and when I asked for one it didn't work. The computer in the lobby had a keyboard with hand painted letters to replace the broken ones. Shabby. The room was small, hardly room to put the 2 suitcases I had BUT the price was right.
- Naomi (2/5): Do not stay here! - I would not recommend staying here. Although the location is good the staff are not and the cleaners are thieves!
We has money stolen from our bags, both Vietnamese dong and UK pound (1 million dong and £10). We told the front desk, who phoned the manager and we then were told we could watch the CCTV. We sat for two hours watching to discover the only people who had been in our room were the cleaners. The lady at the front desk said she would tell the manager, who would be at the hotel later and would come and see us. The manager never came to see us. To the hotels credit on the day we checked out we received an envelope with 500 dong as a token of good will.
I would not risk staying here. In a way, we were lucky as we only had money stolen and not something more valuable like a camera or passport.
It's such a dissapointnrnt as this hotel is in a great location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great value - Nice rooms, great locations and helpful staff.
- Eikka (6/5): basic hotel, basic services - WiFi didnt work very baddly. Sometimes hours offline sometimes online only 5min or so
- Tapio (6/5): Nice little hotel in a good location - The rooms were small and without windows, but they were clean and well equiped and functional. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Most of them spoke very good english. There were hundreds of restaurants nearby and you could walk to the centrum and museums, etc...
- Tapio (6/5): Nice little hotel in a good location - The rooms were little and without windows but they were functional and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Nearby there are hundreds of restaurants and the center is within walking distance.
- steel3456 (4/5): Felt weird and lacking security - There was no safe in the rooms. The reception insisted on me and my friend (in another room) to turn all the power off which is really weird and never been asked of. Its a hotel i paided my fees i can leave the aircon on if i want right? Anyways i would leave all the power on and come back to my room and everythings off, same thing happen to my friend so i assume someone goes into the rooms to check everythings off. They also insisted leaving passports at the reception which i have neve done but i did this time because there was no safe in the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budjet hotel - Its is in the very heart of Dist 1 and well connected with ones needs
A good budjet hotel, small room thou..but clean and comfortable
- Mathew (4/5): Try finding another hotel - The only good thing was the prime location, everything else was bad. Bad wifi connection, the toilet and rooms were not clean, shower head and toilet door were spoilt. Service is not that good either. Tour offered by hotel is alot expensive.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Good location for price but ended up be more expensive then you think. For the staff will rob you when you go out in the town. Kept on missing $$ everyday I leave to go out and about. Kinda my fault for trusting to leave my $$ in the room
- Julie (6/5): Good value for the location - This hotel has a great location in the city center. However, the room without a window is really small (meaning about 2 feet next to the bed and that's it). The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. They give fresh towels everyday but the sink, the toilet and the shower were never cleaned in the week we stayed. Also, there was black mould in the shower and the bathroom's ceiling was constantly covered with drops of water. Overall, it was ok considering the value.
- Fredrik (10/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. I have stayed at this hotel twice and would not hesitate to return. Some rooms lack windows, but thats very common in Vietnamese cities, so no big deal about that. Windowless rooms are much more quiet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - it is greatfull .thankyou very much enjoyed with holiday comfortable and convenience location.and great of price.wishing your company with New Year all the best Wishes.
- Yveydyves (8/5): Friendly staff & clean comfortable accommodation - Stayed 4 nights in Sen Hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms have lovely decor and they supply full toiletries, complimentary water etc. Good value for money and great location - just down the road from a beautiful park and the main tourist hub of HCM City. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A Hotel Feel Like A Home.. - My 5 days 4 nights stay in Sen Saigon hotel was a pleasant one..I was greeted by a friendly lady who happens to be the boss there..She speaks very good English and she is friendly and approachable..The receptionist and the bellboy served me with a nice smile..The hotel location is near to some of the places of interest.. (e.g Ben Thanh Market, Museum of Fine Arts and Reunification Palace) The room is always kept tidy and neat whenever we come back to the hotel.. Afterall, i like the hotel very much and will stay in that hotel again if i happen to go Vietnam again.. :)
- Verified traveler (2/5): ewwww - dirty, dark, smelly, doesn't look like the photos online at all. not worth the 1/2 price advertisement being sold.
it's the quality of an $8 youth hostel
