• Bart (1/5): No sleep till I’m out of here - No It smelled bad, bed was uncomfortable, it wasn’t clean at all, in the establishment rules it says not to use phones after 10pm but apparently at 7am is acceptable?! The first night I was there, a big party was happening outside and so no sleep obviously.

• Oyedele (4/5): Disgusting. - Absolutely nothing. There was absolutely nothing to like about the place. It was a shitty place with a very poor hygiene. The entire place was smelly and disgusting. The room also had a terribly bad odour. I will never ever stay in a place like that again or ever recommend a place like that to anyone. Disgusting, disappointing, displeasing to say the least. No sane person should ever stay in a place like that. Terribly shocking.

• 217marec (2/5): Worst hostel I've been - By far the worst hostel I've slept in. Floor was creaking, beds were terrible and worst of all: people didn't give a sht ab being silent. Many old men sleep here. One had their ringtone on max volum that kept going off the entire night. One woman was loudly calling for like 2 hours straight at night. I'm pretty sure we heard 3 men loudly masturbating. This place for not feel safe for us at all.

• Michael (1/5): Verste opplevelsen noen gang. Ekstrem støyet og skitten. - Absolutt ingenting. Obs! Kriminell utleier som har narkofest med ekstrem høy musikk nede i eget bygg. Ekstremt støyet gjennom hele natta, ingen i bygget sov den natta. Eieren var med på festen, løy om når de skulle slutte og hadde svært truende gjester på festen. Aldri opplevd noe lignende. I tillegg totalt nedslitt bygg, ikke vann på kvelden, seng med flekker og ødelagt. Må absolutt fjernes fra Booking.com.

La gente no respetaba las hora y hablaban por telefono a altas horas de la noche encendiendo las luces. Los baños no estaban especialmente limpios, aunque mejor que la cama. En la cama la cortina que se supone que te cerraba estaba totalmente caída. Me tocó abajo de una litera de tres personas y solo podía pensar en que eso no aguantaba el peso…

• Alina (10/5): Stay at single room! That’s a great place! - My single room was super comfy, especially bed) good internet, big window, fan and heater, big mirror, place to keep clothes, tv…. Very nice room! Operating by door codes, it’s amazing coz no keys🤩 location good also! And biiiiggg value for money 🤩 You still have to use communal shower and toilet, they are ok, but lack of privacy

• noelle (7/5): Great spot for Deptford! - The manager helped upgrade me out of a dorm where a guest was bullying me. The “kitchen” is just a microwave and for some reason they put a chair in front of it so guests will sit there eating awkwardly like it’s a table making it hard to access for anyone else.
• Aoife (4/5): Was cheap and the location suited me but not very clean, with minimal facilities and no security for each room. - Good location, walkable from Deptford. The staff were nice. Bed had plenty of charging ports, a light, shelf and curtain. I booked a female dorm but the key code for this room was the same as the code for the whole hostel so assume all rooms have the same key code. The facilities weren’t great, the toilets and showers were all just cubicles without walls and wasn’t much sink space for brushing teeth etc. there was no communal area or even basic kitchen facilities. The bed was clean but the room and all other spaces didn’t feel very clean. On the first night (Fri) there was a party in the pub that had really loud speakers and went into the early hours of the morning. I was on the second floor and couldn’t sleep so must have been much worse on the floor below, as I felt the vibrations of the bass in bed. This seems to be irregular though as the pub was very quiet on the other 2 nights (sat & sun).

• Sightseer59755820497 (2/5): BAD HOSTEL THE ROYAL STANDARD - We stayed at the book of bed hostel in Deptford, London. It is also known as the Royal Standard. My son had over 74 bed bug bites on him. They were all over his body. I will not go there again. The lockers do not contain your things in an effective manner they're either broken or in bad shape. Pay the extra money and go to an airbnb. We actually left early from there and got a airbnb the last 3 nights of our stay in London

It’s crazy dirty no safe and weird people stay in there . This place should be closed ! I booked 2 weeks I stayed 4 days

• Julian (2/5): Desilusionado - La cama es cómoda, la habitación está bien y estaba cerca del new cross inn, que iba a un concierto allí. Tienen reglas de no hacer ruido durante la noche, sin embargo, había un señor en el hall de al lado de mi habitación, haciendo una videollamada literalmente gritando enfadado que se escuchaba desde mi habitación de 2 a 5 de la mañana, por lo que era bastante desagradable. En las duchas estuve tiempo girando la temperatura de un lado para otro y nunca salió caliente, por lo que tuve que meter la cabeza 10 segundos en el agua congelada y otra vez para enjuagarme.

• Tom (7/5): - Beds half comfortable, good value for money if you just need a place to rest your head Annoying app to check in, rooms very worn down and window was broken but good value and if you just need a place to sleep at the end of the night then perfect, definitely not a weekend hotel and not a place you'd bring the mrs. Toilets are in a weird corridor so if you happen to get one of the rooms adjacent then unfortunate. Luckily we didn't.

• CECILIA (1/5): No volvería, no merece la pena con el dinero que pagué - Esta muy cerca del centro y desde depford hay varios supermercados en los cuales puedes comprar algo a la vuelta al hostal. Si tienes habitación privada, tienes una toalla/persona. Hay una airfriyer, un calentador de agua y un microondas. El hostal está situado en una zona de Council States, no nos pasó nada pero volvíamos con preocupación. El hostal en sí está poco mantenido, las duchas están muy sucias y con demasiada acumulación de cal, solo la primera ducha tenía agua caliente. Los baños al ser mixtos y compartidos solían estar muy sucios, al igual que las duchas. Durante la noche hubo una persona gritando de 3-4 am, no pude pegar ojo. Si coges habitación privada, se escucha mucho el baño y en la habitación 13 la calefacción siempre estaba apagada o muy templada. Todo se siente muy extraño en esa estancia. Podría mejorar el estado de las camas....
• Agapi (1/5): Worst experience in hostel. DO NOT RECOMMEND - The concept of the pub downstairs was okay First impression: I walked in the building and it was super smelly, really old. There are no showers to my surprise, I didn’t know I had to check if a hostel had a shower. The toilets were super dirty with stains of pee all over. The beds are made of paper, with the slightest movement you feel like there’s a huge earthquake. No space for you to change clothes (if you don’t want your clothes smelling like pee). Bad lighting in the rooms. It took me about 15 mins to check in, in the dark in the middle of nowhere. I was scared that someone would come up and steal my phone or something. I left the next morning and never came back for the rest of my stay. I suggest you pay a little bit more and stay at a place with dignity, showers and a feeling of safety.

• ericmava (1/5): Aviso, NO PONGAN UN PIE ALLÍ! - Nada en absoluto. NO vayan! Ni sé les ocurra poner un pié allí. Parece más bien un albergue para indigentes. En mi caso, me tocó soportar una peste brutal y ruidos continuos ya que nadie respeta nada. El de la cama de abajo tenía basura de comida y latas acumuladas en su cama, asqueroso. Es horrible, ni para pasar una noche! Comento esto considerando que soy una persona que se adapta a cualquier situación y no soy muy refinada precisamente. Para más inri, no existe zona común, por lo que solo tienes la cama para descansar, eso sí te dejan los vecinos...
