- Voyage592618 (8/5): Wonderful staff, location, and value - We enjoyed much about our stay at Anahi: the staff were lovely and so helpful with suggestions; the location is fantastic; breakfast was both a good value and an opulent experience, as it was across the street at a storied five-star hotel. In response to my request for a quiet room, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to the Apartment, a few doors down. It was indeed quiet and included all the necessary conveniences and comfort (including a balcony!), but since it wasn't actually in the hotel, I can't really judge the experience of staying in the hotel itself, roomwise. One caution: if you're captivated by the photos of the rooms' decor, and if their appeal is what prompted your reservation, then don't accept the Apartment as a substitute--it's 360 degrees different: white and minimalist, with scarcely any decorative accents. I was crestfallen upon being shown to it, though I know that the staff meant it as a kindness. And of course, if that kind of clean, Ikea vibe is your thing, you'll be delighted! We would stay at Anahi again, having been so happy with the staff and the location (and breakfast!), but next time I'd specify that I wanted a room in the hotel.

The bed was really comfy, rooms were clean and stylish and the staff were superb. I highly recommend Daniele and Debora on the front desk, who were SO friendly and professional. They recommended great places to eat, particularly Negresco just down the street.

The aircon wasn't working due to the time of year but we couldn't open the windows due to the noise. There was no alternate such as a fan. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling. The curtains are much too long and a tripping hazard. The way they are hung doesn't prevent light from coming in. Outlets are too low on the walls and inconveniently placed.

- Stephen (9/5): A great choice for a family stay in Rome, especially during the festive season. - Our family of five (2 bedrooms) stayed at Boutique Hotel Anahi at the end of December and had a very pleasant stay. The location was fantastic — perfectly positioned for exploring Rome on foot, with major sights, shops and restaurants all close by. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and made us feel well looked after during a very busy time of year. Their warmth and attentiveness really added to our experience.

A few steps from piazza del Popolo, close to Borghese Gardens and Spanish steps. We walked to the Roman Forum and Colloseum ( farthest of all the attractions we visited - around one hour), also to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. San Angelo and Vatican were also relatively close (around 30 min walk all the way to Vatican) and a trip we took all the way to St Peter's Basilica at sunset was amazing. Lots of restaurants, on the expensive side in piazza del Popolo, but go on the other side of the arch and you'll find reasonably priced restaurants with delicious food.

- Catherine (10/5): An absolute treat - This hotel is in a great location for the attractions of Rome. It is a real boutique hotel. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. We had the terrace suite which was lovely. It had a kettle and a little fridge. The staff are lovely. The man who checked us in ( I didn't get his name) and the two lovely staff ( Damiano and Deborah) who checked us out, were helpful, courteous and professional. We opted for breakfast at the Hotel Locarno across the street. At 16€, the Italian breakfast was an absolute treat, which we ate leisurely in gorgeous surroundings. For an extra 10€ you can opt for the intercontinental including a full menu of cooked to order dishes, which looked delicious. However we were happy with our Italian breakfast which was plentiful and high quality. After check out, we left our luggage and did some more site seeing. On return, we took advantage of the little lounge to relax for 15 minutes with a coffee made by Dimiano from the coffee machine in reception. Deborah offered us cake too.

Piccolo boutique hotel di charme. Il Wi-Fi funziona male, è instabile. Anche la tv nella mia stanza non funzionava bene. Stanze e bagni avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata.

- Carol (10/5): Great stay in Rome - Great location near to Metro station with easy transport links to colleseum and Vatican areas. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and quiet. Had kettle, fridge and minibar. Plenty of restaurants in area and option to purchase breakfast in hotel opposite. Would definitely stay again and recommend. I thought it was good value for Rome. N/A

- Sylvain (7/5): Pratique mais un peu vieillot. - Personnel très sympa et chambre plutôt agréable. L'emplacement permet d'aller, avec 20-30 min de marche, dans beaucoup de lieux touristiques. C'est un peu vieux à l'intérieur. La salle de bain n'est pas super. Les lits sont deux matelas collés. Les prises électriques fonctionnent mal.

- Canning (9/5): Charming small townhouse hotel near the Spanish Steps - Great location in a quiet street near the Tiber but a short walk to the Spanish Steps. Metro stop is near. Charming small townhouse hotel, with an old-school feel. English-speaking staff. Easy walking distance to many major sites, museums, etc.
- Jason (4/5): Overpriced for what you get. - Good location and the terrace for the suite was nice. Air condition was insufficient for the room. It failed to cool the room below 26 degrees Celsius and the staff was left then helpful in remedying the situation. Bathroom was small with little shelf space. Staff was not very hospitality focused - especially the two young men. The one young lady was very friendly. Bed was hard and there were limited power outlets.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help us with a late check out when my husband was unwell. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Very friendly English-speaking staff. Old-school style, within easy walking distance of many of the great historic sites, museums, restaurants, etc.

- Mirjana (7/5): Overall, while the location was great, the room itself did not meet the expectations set by the listing. - The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance of Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. The room description stated that the window overlooked an inner courtyard, but in reality the view was directly onto the wall of the neighboring building, only about two meters away. As a result, there was almost no natural daylight in the room. Additionally, the cleanliness was not at a satisfactory level—there was quite a lot of dust under the bed and behind the furniture. The TV also didn’t work properly and only had three available channels. Overall, the room did not meet the expectations set by the listing.

- m0nalisaj (10/5): Excellent experience! - The hotel is in a very nice location close to great restaurants and shops. Everything looked good and clean. We were able to walk to some of the monuments and felt safe walking at night in the surrounding areas. We also enjoyed very much breakfast across the street at the Hotel Locarno. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Our daughter got sick and we really appreciated their concern and efforts to help us out. The staff also coordinated transportation for us from the hotel to the train station and that also went smoothly. Their staff made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our time at this little hotel.

Tutti, davvero tutti, gentilissimi cordiali e molto professionali. La posizione è eccellente, a due passi a piedi dalle più rinomate strade di Roma (via del Corso, via del Babbuino, ecc).
