- Diana (10/5): - Were staying for 2 weeks ,very accessible for everything like metro and mall. Just the toilet we have is flooding all the time,they fixed it but still flood somewhere leaking.but other than that its good.
- IMRAN ULLAH (4/5): - The staff was cooperative, but the room had many faults. Aircondition was not working properly, room changed after one night. But the other room had a water leak just above the toilet, reported twice but not sorted.

- Safwan (4/5): - I thought this was a 4 star hotel but it did not live up to expectations. Although it wasnt the worst hotel, I give a low rating because it failed to show how its 4 star. There was a loose screw on the floor in our room which is unsafe, the curtain drapes were getting stuck and felt like if we tried to open them, they would fall on us, the vanity unit in the bathroom was dirty, the plug hole in the bidet was blocked, the table lamp was smashed, the duvet wasn't clean, there were missing items like the laundry or lunch list etc.

- Abdi (2/5): The Nightmare at City hotel. - I had a horrible experience in this hotel. I personally on my arrival told them to place me in a quiet room as i was tired and needed a few hours of sleep before my crucial meeting. They never adhered to my request they placed me in a room overlooking the market field which had continuous running noise till 3 AM with a night football match. I was moved very late after complaining. The next day I went to attend a meeting the whole day on return I found my suitcase being tampered with when I asked them they said no one was in my room. I Was sure I closed my suitcase luckily I had lost nothing. I was traumatised and checked out one day earlier.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a 4 star hotel - This hotel is far from being 4 star. Maybe 2 star will be the right rating and in this case I would rate it higher. It is a very old building and everything is worn down. Location is convenient, close to the metro and main bus station. Also free parking is provided which is very convenient for this crowded area.

The downside is that across the road from the hotel there is a night market and they have singers meaning it was very noisy at night. We asked to be moved to the quiet side of the hotel which the staff did quickly and without fuss but it is something to keep in mind if you plan to stay at the Landmark Grand.

- Rhima (2/5): 1 night stay - From check in to the end wasn’t the best hotel experience. Staff not friendly at all and they have no customer service skills. Need to smile and greet guest, had a few issue and didn’t once apologise. Dirty smelly bedding, horrible smell in bedroom. It’s a good job it was 1 night stay only. Breakfast was ok and the staff in restaurant are very helpful and polite.

Person at reception mentioned that I would get a refund, but nothing happened - I also contacted Expedia, sent email to the hotel and still nothing. If i could give it a 0 - i would. I recently booked a stay at the Landmark Grand Hotel through Expedia . Initially I booked 4 nights but I stayed for only 2 hours due to the poor condition of the hotel, which was unacceptable even for a 2-star establishment and this one being 4! Once checked in, I paid for early check in and went to the room that was looking worse than the one I am attaching below. Then, I was given the other room that looked “cleaner” since the previous room was just destroyed. You can see the “cleaner” standard - it was scary to brush teeth in such environment. The issues I encountered included: Dirty toilet and bathtub Ripped and unwashed bedsheets Extremely dusty room Sink making an awful noise These conditions are not acceptable for a four-star hotel and significantly impacted my stay. I have documented these issues with photographs. Once reported and leaving the hotel in 2 hours , the lady on reception told me I would get a refund, but no contact was done ever since, even though reported and contacted.

We found food in the fridge when we arrived, the sheets were dirty and were probably not changed, the bathroom was not very clean and old and needed improvements. Only the location is great (close to Union metro station and many shops around).

The location is really good with a metro station and bus station a few minutes walk away, across the road is a big shopping centre plus there are 100s of restaurants and cafes. - Steve (8/5): - The rooms are nice and big. Decor is dated but it's fine. The flat screen TV's are old and don't have an HDMI port that you could use to extend your computer screen area. There is only one restaurant in the evening, there are sometimes noisy parties in the adjacent room in the evening. Gym is adequate and not busy. Rooftop pool and sunbathing area.

- Sheruan (8/5): Good hotel, but slightly outdated - Hotel itself is good. It was quite clean, apart from some minorities. Location is comfortable, close to airport and metro. Ride to city centre does not take long. It feels a bit outdated in furnishing or bath, but everything works as expected. I think it was a great hotel back in the days, now it is just good.

Our mattress had the springs coming out of it. We reported to reception but they never sorted it out. Our used coffee cups and glasses were never cleaned. Location is good but very unhappy with the service

- richard (2/5): - I was moved 4x the fourth room the sink was leaking they immediately sent a plumber saying that, it’s very dated even the bathrobe got holes the carpet was not hovered properly morsels of food particles can be seen I showed it to the housekeeping which they apologised. Location is excellent, service is there but you must ask for it! It used to be a fantastic Hotel! I Hope the management Will do something about it! It used to be so clean and lovely, now even the towels are really old and rough! You can’t fault the location of this hotel though, very close to 2 metro stations and lots of restaurants just minutes walk away

But it was a bit of disappointment that i got a smoking room that i did not ask for. I could smell it at once i opened the door. With a bit waiting, I got a new room after i ask for it. But still could smell the cigarett smell. I dont know if it is in the room or it is from their airconditioning system.

- Abdulkadir (4/5): Bad customer service - I had overnight flight and I came the hotel at 6:45 AM it’s low season and I knew the rooms were mostly empty instead the check me in he asked money for early check in and I asked is my room now available he said yes but you can only able to check in at 2:00 PM! I refused to pay extra money and I asked to see the manager and when the manager came he agreed with the receptionist! After debate the manager checked me in at 8:30! I wasted two hours I would have sleep. I travel a lot and I remember once I checked arrived Hilton 3:00AM I was allowed to check in starting following night not that night that’s great customer service by Hilton.
