• Cherry (6/5): - Great location, right in the heard of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are basic, carpet very worn and no amenities due to it being eco friendly. The hotel has only one elevator which makes for a longer waiting time.

• Wilfred (10/5): - First stay and very happy I found this hotel still available, so close to 2 metro lines, major shopping malls and Ningxia night market, Daiso, and a convenience stores below; the best part, rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, well equipped. Breakfast was interesting and relatively good spread for the price paid. Hotel was flexible when I postponed my trip on departure day and kept my booking intact, even allowed me to add a day to the schedule, staff spoke English. Can't say anything bad except I wish they didn't change the linen everyday and used water dispensers instead of bottled water policy. Looking forward to my next trip already.

• Angela (10/5): - A very convenient location as it is close to main metro lines, food, and shopping. Staff was very welcoming and the room was clean (although small). Contrary to some of the reviews, we didn’t have an issue with sound proofing between rooms but keep in mind you can hear traffic with the windows closed as the hotel is located on a busy road. A big bonus was free luggage storage as check out time was 11am but our flight was at 11:55pm. They also have a nice large seating lounge while we waited for our cab. Would definitely stay here again.

Fits for both my business trips and my own family trips. Staff are very service oriented and dedicated in ensuring you have the best experience with the days you are with them.

(will definitely come back for this reason) Room was OK size for being in the city. The room I stayed was clean and well maintained. Perfect location as minute or two walk from the train station, many shops that's just next door.

• Michael (6/5): - The property is centrally located and convenient to the MRT. However, the value for the money is not there. There are a LOT of hotels within 2 MRT stops of the Main Station with larger rooms and better breakfast in the same price range. The breakfast, in particular, is way below par. We stayed 4 nights and walking through the meager breakfast buffet, I never saw anything I really wanted to eat. The hotel really needs to up their game here given the competition. If staying here, consider not paying for the breakfast buffet.

The hotel was a 30 second walk from the subway station (Zhongshan station) which made things super convenient. Rooms felt soundproof and area was safe and quiet. Would recommend anyone to stay.

• SIN YAN JULIE (10/5): - Nice neighborhood and very convenient to stay as it’s closed to shopping, popular eating places and the MRT. Smart in-room features such as the integrated panel of all kinds of switches especially the e-curtain.
• Lye (10/5): - Boutique hotel in a good location with access to Zhongshan Metro Line (two lines service this location), shopping malls and many dining options. Staying here makes you feel that you are close to the heartbeat of a vibrant, pulsating city, so much so that u wanna go out to join the crowd!
• William (10/5): - Good location, and easy to access everything you need in Taipei when the MRT station is 1 minute's walk away, as well as all the shops. The soundproofing is relatively good from my experience, even when we are living in a room facing the busy street, you rarely hear the noise. I would recommend the hotel to put a plastic mat underneath the desk/chair area as the chair is really hard to move on the carpet and it's blocking the access to the closet so we had to move it frequently.

There is a shopping mall across the street, and subway is very close by. The staff is OUTSTANDING. The one area for improvement is the 'smart' switch use in the rooms. They did not work consistently. • Verified traveler (8/5): Great price, great bathtub, A little tiny room - 가성비가 참 좋은 호텔입니다. 위치가 중산역 3번 출구에서 가까워서 완전 좋습니다. 조식이 무료인데 퀄리티가 괜찮은 편입니다. 약간 한국 정서에 안 맞는 특이한 음식들도 나오기는 하지만, 죽도 있고, 밥도 있고, 하다 못해 외국인들을 위한 식빵 + 잼도 나오기는 합니다. 버터도 있구요. 라운지가 그렇게 널찍한 편은 아니지만, 투숙객 자체가 많은 편은 아니기 때문에 조식하는데 방해가 되지는 않습니다. 객실은 욕조가 너무 넓다보니 방이 상대적으로 작게 느껴지는 아쉬움이 있습니다. 침대는 큰데 방이 좁아서, 이동 동선이 꽤 불편하게 느껴지실 수 있습니다. 특히 옷을 걸어두는 장롱의 위치가 굉장히 이상합니다. 어쨌거나 여러모로 만족하는 호텔입니다. (사진에 첨부한 샌드위치는 배고파서 한 입 베어 문 상태)

Room was very well appointed, but a little over the top with things like the automatic curtains not working (and perhaps not necessary). While the bathroom and the bed were very clean there was a lot of dust in the lamps and up high - perhaps I see it because I am tall.

• Kuo-Tai (10/5): Amazing service hotel that awaits your arrival - This is the best service hotel I had ever stayed so far. I feel like I stayed at 1st class lounge for the past 4 nights stay. There is a unexpected elevator malfunction incident happened during the stay. I stayed on the 7the floor. I was a little bit concerned at beginning but it turned out to be a good exercise for me. The elevator was fixed the 3rd day. The hotel's crisis management is impressed. They offer me the option to stay at other locations of their hotel chain. I like the convenience of the hotel location and therefore I did not move. They continue to apologize the inconvenience caused and ask if anything they can offer. The elevator was fixed one day before my checkout. They offer free taxi to take me to airport. I will definitely stay this hotel again. I like it at beginning for the hotel location, superb high end amenities inside room, delicious breakfast (different dishes each day). Now I am a big fan of their 5 star service. I would recommend this hotel to someone feel as lucky as me in every travel journey.

Space is tight for 2 pax per room, had to improvise to open 2 luggages n make room for supper for 4.. housekeeping is slipshod. Still found leftover rubbish in room upon return. Hotel bf considered decent given price paid. Book it only if u are only traveling via metro and not staying for > 3-4 nights.

• Chelsea (8/5): Hotel in the centre of shopping district - Hotel is really close to exit 3 of zhongshan station. However, at that exit, there are only stairs so if you are carrying bulky luggage, it would be quite a hassle. Just next to the hotel is a watsons store with daily essentials, cosmetics etc. and just about 2 stores away is a souvenir/daily amenities shop selling taiwan goodies, stationery, homeware, accessories etc. Food and shopping is definitely within reach. Ningxia night market is about 10-12minutes walk away selling taiwanese street food. Overall, hotel rooms may be slightly cramped for 2 luggages but i do enjoy the bathroom facilities such as a separate shower and bathtub that comes with a tv screen so that you can soak in the bathtub and watch tv at the same time. Most likely i will choose to stay in this hotel again when i visit taipei due to its centralised location.

I got a flight at 4pm and asked if the check-out has to be done at 2pm instead of 12noon unless I am fine to pay NTD400 per hour extra. I though it was due to room availability but not the case - I would say this hotel does not offer any flexibility at all.

• Koh Hiong (8/5): Tango Taipei - Overall it is ok but as usual Tango's decoration is too dark. The room is very small, so it looks smaller with the dark colour. If 2 persons, will be very uncomfortable. Hotel has been around for awhile, so a bit dated. Breakfast is so so only, very limited choices.
