• Birgül (8/5): Top Lage, aber nichts für Ruhesuchende - Die Unterkunft punktet mit ihrer unschlagbaren Lage im Zentrum. Bars, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Leider hat die zentrale Lage ihren Preis: Es war nachts und bis in die frühen Morgenstunden extrem laut. Neben dem Lärm betrunkener Passanten auf der Straße gab es im Haus selbst massive Störungen durch andere Gäste (Partys, laute Streitigkeiten und Übelkeit im Flur). Für Familien mit Kindern ist die Unterkunft aufgrund des hohen Lärmpegels nicht zu empfehlen.

The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable living: kitchenware, appliances, clean towels, etc. The bed was exceptionally comfortable — I had a great night’s sleep every day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d happily stay here again!

• Clasing (8/5): A lovely stay in the gothic quarter that could be excellent with a few tweaks. - Location and staff were great. It was nice and big with lots of room and close to everything we needed. Beautifully decorated and loved the open air from the French doors. Elevator was a plus for bags given the 4th floor location. We also felt very safe and comfortable. The property could have been cleaned better or have items for us to clean better. There were fingerprints all over the doors and kitchen. Hair in the bathrooms. Dusty floors. We also felt that the towels were lackluster. We got one bath towel and one hand towel per person for a week. No washcloth and the state of the towels were not great. Upgraded bath towels would go a long way in making the stay excellent. Additionally, the rooftop was only open 11-6 which didn’t provide a lot of time to enjoy it as most days were spent enjoying the city. Morning and/or evening access would have been great.

• Bart (1/5): Nooit meer naar dit verblijf - Op zich een goede locatie afgezien van het lawaai s nachts Slechte service. Geen warmwater in de badkamer. 2 ochtenden niet kunnen douchen. Zou gecompenseerd worden maar na ruim 2 maanden nog geen compensatie ontvangen.

• Brook (9/5): - We loved the location and the size was perfect for a family of 6. Our only complaint was the noise from the street at night. Even with all the doors closed it was still quite loud until early morning like 4-5 am. In the back bedroom this wasn’t an issue.

• Elisabeth (5/5): Aber trotzdem ein wunderschöner Urlaub - Die Lage in der Altstadt von Barcelona, die Freundlichkeit beim Check in. Das Apartment im ersten Stock besteht aus zwei Wohnungen, die zur Straße raus ist sauber, stylisch und gepflegt, aber die rückwertige Wohnung hat nur Fenster in winzige Innenhöfe 1x1m, und ist sehr dunkel, man hätte die hintere Wohnug anders aufwerten können. Im Badezimmer gibt es viel Schimmel, aber nur in der hinteren Wohnung, Im Vorraus wurde versprochen, dass wir die Koffer beim Check out bis zum Flug einstellen können, aber am Abreisetag war niemand mehr auffindbar und alles verschlossen

• Zala (4/5): - Location! Apartment is not realy clean. Standards in EU are usualy higher for this price. Kitchen is not very equiped. There is one cooking pot for seven people, on demand we got one more. However, this kitchen is not meant to prepare real meals for whole family. The staff is hard to get on phone in the evening. We wait more than 30 minutes in front of the building before kind guy arrived and opened the apartment.

Kein Charme. Keine Willkommensflasche. Leerer Kühlschrank. Das geht auch ganz anders. Daran merkt man, das der Vermieter eine Firma ist.

• Donald (9/5): Spacious property which should be considered. - Very large and it was wonderful to have two spacious bathrooms. While the property was overall clean, we thought the bathrooms could use some deep cleaning. The location was convenient to many restaurants. It was about a 5-10 walk to the metro lines so it was fairly easy get to the sites around Barcelona. We found it difficult to find our way around in the narrow winding streets even using GPS.

The location couldn't be better – close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing local tips and making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. It really made a difference in our experience. The accommodation itself clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space for our two families. Everything we needed was provided, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families looking for a safe, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay in Barcelona. We'd definitely come back!

• Phil Hobson (8/5): great locatioin - The location is great and the apartment is roomy and well fitted out. The front rooms were airy and enabled a good view of the gothic quarter below. The rooms were dark (little natural light and this was to be expected give its location, but this wasnt compensated for with lighting). The towels were worn and need to be updated, the sink was blocked and very slow to drain and need some maintenance. The neighbor was very noisy however after one night the property manager spoke with them and it was no longer an issue. These were mainly small issues that can be rectified with some attention to the details.

The beds were super comfy, the rooms spacious, and the rates very affordable for the quality offered. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations — highly recommended! Not having a self check in, since you will be waiting and plenty of bugs inside the apt

• Kristina (10/5): - The complete staff were amazing from the time of check in to check out. They even allowed us to use there rooftop amenities after 5pm because our flight was not until 10:30pm. They gave us fresh towels to use and they allowed us to keep our stuff in their office locked safely until we were ready to leave for the airport. We had a pleasant stay with them and would definitely recommend and stay with them again ! I would give 10 stars if possible.

Would definitely return - Modern, clean, very comfortable beds, we had an issue with our washing machine that was dealt with quickly which was very much appreciated. • Karin (8/5): Heerlijk appartement! - De ligging is heel erg centraal en in een relatief rustig steegje. Het appartement is super ruim met allemaal voorzieningen zoals airco (hele fijne!), een koelkast, vriezer, maar zelfs een wasmachine. We werden heel netjes ontvangen, communicatie liep goed. Het appartement zelfs is wel heel gehorig. En het was netjes, maar had wel wat schoner gemogen. Het dakterras was voor gezamenlijk gebruik en niet de hele dag / avond open, dat hadden wij niet zo begrepen vooraf.

Na szczęście okna na tyle szczelne, że pozwalały odciąć się od nocnych imprez. W zasadzie w ciągu 20 minut można było dotrzeć do takich miejsc, jak metro, targ, place. Dla rodzin z dziećmi dużym minusem był brak zmywarki, zmiotki i szufelki oraz środków czystości takich jak płyn do mycia naczyń, gąbeczka. W przypadku braku urządzenia do zmywania warto zapewnić takie rzeczy.

• Elaine (9/5): Great family trip to celebrate my Sons 18th & 21st birthdays! The apartment was perfect for our family with a Mum &a - Lovely apartment, centrally located in the Gothic Quarter. Close enough to beach & main areas of Barcelona. Air con worked great which helped in the heatwave! Had everything we needed including decent hairdryers, good toiletries from Rituals, nice towels & crisp clean white bedding. Loved the configuration of the apartment as it had a master bedroom then a 2nd twin bedroom with en-suite & separate lounge area with sofa beds off it. The main lounge is open plan with small well equipped kitchen & dining table. French doors which open onto street so not an apartment with views, although well appointed. Would be perfect for families or groups of girls/boys. Not much not to like! We had a couple of minor issues but the hosts did their best to sort what they could during our stay - the safe wasn’t working & didn’t get fixed during our stay even though we reported it upon arrival. However, this wasn’t an issue as the property had great double locks so we felt safe enough. Also, be aware, there’s nowhere to leave your luggage if you need a late check out if the hosts can’t accommodate it. The hosts sent us a booking link for a site to leave our luggage however, we booked & paid for the closest to the apartment only to find it was all boarded up when we came to depart & leave our luggage! We got a refund from the left luggage company but this was inconvenient & meant we almost missed a booking slot for another attraction due to having to source an alternative & walk there. I’d recommend booking Locker Barcelona instead of using the link from the hosts as it’s cheaper & is a 15 min walk if you need a left luggage service.

• Mia (9/5): Great stay! - The apartment has an excellent location in the Gothic Quarter. Very spacious with all the amenities you need. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The balconies are very nice. The towels given were very small and not enough... and had seen better days...but the problem was sorted when we requested more towels wich they provided a day later. Scissors in the kitchen would be nice.

There is not enough light in - Apartment location I ask guests to write reviews so that people understand and don't make mistakes. The apartment needs repairs, good cleaning, dirty floor, dust, need dry cleaning of sofas and painting of walls. It is very dark, in the photo all lightened, live like in the basement, especially the bedroom with 2 beds. You can hear the entrance, when at night people walk from walks on the stairs, as if to your apartment. You can hear the street. If you like silence and light, the apartment will not suit you.

The location was right in the heart of old town and short walk down to beach. The most comfortable beds & pillows ever, 2 separate lounge areas with TV’s, big kitchen, 2 big bathrooms, washer/dryer for clothes. Great communication with easy check in. Highly recommend!

• Lorna (10/5): Beautiful spacious apartment in perfect location - The location was perfect, easily accessible, walking distance to the beach and lots of nice shops, restaurants and a little corner shop for essentials close by. The communication from the host was also perfect. The apartment itself was way bigger than we expected too which was lovely. Also love when places provide simple things like body wash and extra toilet roll. It was pretty faultless, the only improvement would have been to provide salt, pepper, oil and maybe a little something else to supplement the full kitchen.

It seemed that they often didn't read or take into account the things already in the messages. They asked the same thing several times. They promised that we could leave our luggage there if we arrived earlier, but when I asked about it a few days before our arrival, they said it wasn't possible. They should have at least informed me! The shower in one of the bathrooms didn't work properly from the start. After two days it became unusable, we wrote to them about this, they didn't answer anything!

• Elizabeth (6/5): - We found the apartment spacious & we felt safe once inside. We arrived late afternoon and it was starting to get dark. The alley was quite creepy. Lots of sketchy people walking by. Apartment was surface cleaned. Not deep cleaned. There was mould in bathroom shower. While I could tell the beds had freshly washed sheets, pillowcases and blankets it just felt that overall the room wasn’t sparkled. The curtains were old and musty. The couches were not vacuumed. It honestly felt like a spacious hostel. We asked for more towels on our second day & were told there was a charge for that. Towels themselves were thin and very old (washed obviously, but used too many times) Great location close to Ramblas, but don’t walk alone at night.
