It’s filled with a large variety of art that’s colorful, interesting, and pleasing to the eye. The breakfast delicious, the staff warm and helpful. Nothing. It’s well located and a welcoming place to stay.

The location is also good, a few blocks away from the U-Bahn (metro) station. Hotel is not far from Berlin train central station. Nice view over the Spree from the breakfast room. - R7648VEsandram (10/5): Warm and comfortable hotel, pleasant staff, excellent location, great breakfast. - This was our first visit to Berlin and the guidebooks advised us to stay in Berlin Mitte, but we liked the look of this hotel. We definitely made the right choice. It lies just west of the large Tiergarten Park which stretches to the Brandenburg Gate. It is located in a building from the late 19th/early 20th century with a marble hall and beautiful plaster ceilings in the entrance, dining room and sitting room. The hotel dining room looks out over the river. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the bathroom was quite new. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent. The hotel is only a short walk (5 mins) from the Tiergarten S Bahn station and in two stops, about 6 minutes, you are right in the centre of Berlin. We have already recommended this hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again on a future visit. A tip, we bought the Berlin Welcome Card for public transport, which also gives you a 20% reduction on some tourist attractions. If you are visiting lots of museums it is also worth buying the Berlin Museums Card.

- Hergen (8/5): Wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. - Das Frühstück ist vielseitig, frisch und lecker. Die Zimmer haben den Charme des Hauses, es ist eben ein Altbau. Die Lage war für mich perfekt, aber eben auch sehr ruhig. Die S-Bahn ist aber in der Nähe. Es war alles OK, nur das die Dusche war nicht gut gereinigt. Das habe ich vor Ort aber auch mitgeteilt

- Susanne (8/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt und gute Anbindung an Berlin Mitte - Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, Rezeption stets besetzt, persönliches Ein- und Auschecken, ruhige Lage, gutes Frühstück. Angenehmes Hotel mit Charme. Aufzug. Die Inlays der Oberbetten müssten dringend erneuert werden, da die nicht mehr wärmen. Wir haben auf diesen Umstand hingewiesen und erhielten sofort zusätzliche Oberbetten. Und man wollte sich darum bald kümmern, diese auszutauschen gegen neuere. :-)) Die Beleuchtung im Bad flackert ungewöhnlich lange, bis das Licht richtig angeht. Leider keine Heizung im Badezimmer.

- Antje (9/5): Hotel mit Charakter ideal für einen Kurzaufenthalt. - Das Hotel hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter, weicht von den üblichen „Hotels von der Stange“ ab. Die Lage ist sehr gut, zentrumsnah und doch ruhig direkt an der Spree. Es ist sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar und sehr gut ausgeschildert. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter*innen sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Nichts.

- Miroslava (5/5): Great location but also great dissapointment in accomodation and treatment - The location is great, very near Tiergarten S-Bahn station and Spree river. The breakfast was delicious and cofee was good. Very quiet neighbourhood. I booked standard room, the hotel pre-authorized my credit card prior to our arrival, but there was no clue on the website or in other guests’ comments that it would be on the ground floor-almost beyond the street level! If I knew that such rooms even existed I would never choose such a hotel!The bed was uncomfortable, the blanket was shabby. Blinds didn’t work. Above all, our room was not cleaned properly for 4 days upon our arrival, towels were changed only after I have complained-after 4 days! No toiletries, shower caps etc. in the bathroom. I understand that the crisis hit Germany, too, but I did not expect such “savings” at the expense of the guests. Like we were in DDR😄.

Ideen für Spaziergang/Jogging. Wasser und Tee auf dem Zimmer. Schreibtisch mit genügend Steckdosen. Kein Lärm nachts, da in einer Seitenstrasse mit Wohgegendcharakter. Frühstücken wie zu Hause.

- Jan (3/5): Inte prisvärt. Ha låga förväntningar. - Boendet låg nära S-Bahn. En tjej i personalen var trevlig. Eftersom jag betalade 130 € natten blir bedömningen därefter. Boendet borde kosta ca 80 €. Ägarna verkar ha köpt ett bostadshus och byggt några rum. Inredningen är trött vilket genomsyrar hela boendet. Gammal standard, sliten och smutsig wc och en trist frukost. Personalen går runt i slitna och hängiga jeans. Ha låga förväntningar om ni ändå väljer detta boende.
- Gemma (8/5): Berlin Stay - Great location. Managed to walk around to most places we wanted to see in Berlin. The restaurant beside the Tiergarten station was also great. Loved the chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was also solid and the staff were incredibly kind. Was great that they where there 24/7 so we could check in/out whenever. Lift was broken so we had to walk up the stairs which was fine for us but might be a problem for some.
