Guest Reviews
- Scenic64803786189 (2/5): BAD EXPERIENCE - THE WORST STAY EXPERIENCE. the aircond is not cold, and the room is dusty. the blanket is not wrapped well. tidak berjahit! and also WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! we went to the counter to ask for mineral water because that day we did not ask for make up room but the guy said cannot , have to ask again tomorrow like WHAT THE HELL?? i kept asking but he still insisting not giving us the bottle water. its just a water bro. we stayed for 3 days and yet it was a waste of money!! think 10 times before coming here la.
- Otane75 (2/5): would not stay there another night ever - The rooms are dirty, hair on the blanket, AC is not possible to close or adapt temperature, breakfast is a joke for such a big hotel, no internet in the room, noisy depending the room. Security staff screeming at me that I have to leave the room, even I had permission from reception staff to extend until 2pm. Staff not answering emails and whatsapp. Stay away from this awful hotel, you could easily find a nice and cheap room in a small guesthouse for better condition.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Overall we didn't like the place. What shown in pucture is 360 degree oposite. We will never ever stay thwre again.
- Roz (8/5): - I like bcoz comfotable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The toilet cannot flushing. Seems damage is so long already but the hotel didn't fix it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy to access public transport. AC not that good. Unable to control. Breakfast buffet is not within standard.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - toilet after flush one time, it takes more than 10 minutes to refill the water flush again. found hairs on the bed, requested to switch other room they always said NO.
- ZHEN (6/5): - STAFF NOT FRIENDLY, said
not found my book even i already book this hotel with 10 room using difrent app...take time 40 minit to find my book..
then the staff said i must wait for check in becouse not arrange yet to check in. when i ask how manay long , she said not conform yet.. finally i wait until 5.00 o clock to check in my room.. do you think deserve pay with high price and i get this service??
- Andi Winna octaviana (8/5): - warm stay. But hotel picture in hotels.com is different.Pls update
- siti aishah (6/5): Parking limited for oku - Bilik ok, tapi aircond medium dan tidak boleh dikawal. Tidak mesra oku, agak sukar untuk oku bergerak dari tempat parking kereta
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Perkeje kurang baik
- Verified traveler (2/5): - FOR STARTERS LET ME SUGGEST THAT THE HOTEL CONSIDER RENAMING THE PROPERTY TO GRAND-MA HOTEL INSTEAD OF GRAND PACIFIC.
WE CAME IN AT ABOUT 7PM. CARPARK WAS BADLY LIT AND ROOFS WERE LEAKING, CHECK IN WAS OK. THE ROOM WAS JUST A TOTAL MESS. IT WAS AS IF I ENTERED A ROOM FROM THE 1980'S BUT NOT IN A GOOD WAY. IT WAS A HORRIBLE!!
THEY DID NOT HAVE COMFORTERS, JUST NORMAL LINEN AS BLANKETS AND IT WAS SUPER COLD IN THE NIGHT. THE CARPET WAS DUSTY, IT HAD COBWEBS. I WOKE UP WITH MY SINUS INFECTED NEXT MORNING BECAUSE OF THE DUST. THE PILLOWS WERE PAPER THIN. THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY, THERE WAS MOLD ON THE SINK, THE TOILET BOWL HAD STAINS AND MOLDS, THE TOILET SEAT WAS DIRTY.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't for this one - Not clean. Wifi only available in the lobby but not in the room. The washbasin was clogged. Staff not so cooperative.
- Gairik_Mukherjee (6/5): Neither too good nor too bad - It's a peaceful hotel which is well connected to most places in the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a centralized AC facility and there's no provision for you to control the room temperature. The rooms were clean. The front desk people are too lazy to act. The hotel has a beautiful and neatly-maintained restaurant (Pacifica cafe) but nothing (except tea and coffee) is available there. On the whole, my stay there was sort of okay.
- Cik (6/5): - The location very good.
They provide only body soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no tooth brush.
Only cold water come out from the shower.
- Mohd (10/5): - Semua ok.maybe akan datang menginap lagi.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Silent area - Silent area around the hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Breakfast is good. Staff didn't allow to fill water bottle and security guard was too much rude. Toilet seat was broken and very uncomfortable to use. Even there is not enough toilet roll in toilet. Shower head also broken and not able to use it. They didn't change even dust bin during our stay. They didn't come to do room service like changing linen and bed sheet. In other hand, one of the security gurad and receptionist helped us well.
- maldivesinsider (6/5): close to PWTC and Sunway Putra Mall - Just a short walk from Sunway Putra Mall and also close to RapidKL PWTC station. Also there are a number of restaurants and shopping areas in the surrounding areas with a short walk from the hotel. Hotel is a bit run down and need renovation.
- Ramesh Devan (4/5): - Centralised Air-Con unable to lower or adjust highier,Receptionist Malay Girl on night shift unfriendly, requested for extra pillow & Blanket she replied "Dah Habis".Shower in Bathroom not in proper condition water from shower spray very bad.Tv channel limited, lights in the room very dim not bright at all,
- paul (4/5): - 1. The aircon cannot be adjusted - its the same for each and every room. I caught a flu due to the icy condition of the room. 2. The reception staff have a nonchalant attitude to their jobs. 3. Internet connectivity is a huge issue, despite my room being close to a router. 4. The room has an issue with mould Although the price is not extortionate, I am unlikely to stay again
- 594adilt (6/5): Overall Good - Hotel is on main road which connect whole city and all major tourist place in Kuala Lumpur and not to get room facing toward road at night sound of moving vehicle disturbed sleep, Hotel really need to be renovation with all modern amenity Staff all front desk were polite and breakfast so ok this all that i can say about this place Here i cant say value for money
- SIMON (6/5): - CONVENIENTTO HAVE FOOD, EASY BOOKING FROM EXPEDIA.COM.MY, CENTER OF THE TOWN
- yuhenzr (2/5): Worst hotel service I've ever experienced...... - FRONTDESK IS THE WORST AMONG ALL OTHER MATTERS......Impolite service by the receptionist(morning shift) which is a Indian lady who looks like a man.....Please don't compromise with her as she thinks she is the most busiest receptionist in the world....
Overall the rooms and the frontdesk SUCKS
- Farid (6/5): - Good for no money...
- josephdavid2805 (6/5): Just OK - This hotel has been around for a long time. My first stay was in 1986.
Now it looks dated and service is sloppy. Room was ok but the shower was pathetic.
Overall it's just a place to check-in, lie on the bed and sleep. Keep your eyes open and you'll see what I mean.
- zee (6/5): - The kitchen lady around her 35 plus was so rude..not a welcoming face with her. Not even a smile...should appoint a better staff than her
- sivananthamn (6/5): Don’t expect too much. Grand is just in name. - There was a book release function here over the weekend for which I was invited. Had to stay one night.
Perhaps the name ‘grand’ pacific had set some high expectations in me. But in fact there is nothing grand about the Hotel.
I’m not sure whether the Hotel can be given any stars. May be 2-star at the best.
Main problem was that I found the rooms, furnitures and beds were dirty. Perhaps living in Singapore has spoilt me so much that no matter what kind of Hotel the cleanliness is a minimum requirement for whatever the little money paid.
Hot water supply in bathroom was continues and morning breakfast was not bad. I only found these two things in favor of the Hotel. There is a 7-11 shop very close by. May be that’s another one.
During the book launch function (function hall in L1) there was some food buffet place at one side. While I was helping myself, I smelled something very bad. I thought other side of the wall had some broken drainage pipe!
Overall - avoid this place.
- jwarwick2017 (4/5): Unhelpful front desk and dirty - There was hair in the bed which had been cleaned!!??? Gross. Mug was chipped. Sofa torn. Bathroom grossly moldy. Toilet seat browny...eeew. Sheets a grey color.. When we asked N at front desk she firmly said hotel was fully booked and no rooms available.. not helpful or apologetic at all.. didnt even bother.. take or leave it attitude. Went straight to Manager and lo and behold he found a "cleaner room" for us. Thank you to him. New room cleaner but still not to standard... pillows had stains!!!!! We asked for them to be changed. Hygeine is an issue. Buffet breakfast average.. sambal for ittali had gone off.. when we pointed it out to staff..no apology. It was removed..thank goodness. Only good thing was pool and cafe staff girls.. very polite and helpful.. furniture old fashioned.. needs refurbishing to bring it into 2017 standards. Sorry but I wont be recommending this hotel or staying here again.
- ABHISEKKUMARS (2/5): Very Rude Behavior by hotel staffs - Not at all a good hotel. Hotel staffs very rude. No one picks the phone for house keeping. Wifi not working. AC control not in your hand, if u complain then also use. Room service very poor. Not worth living
- Guneet10 (6/5): Ok stay ! - The stay in this hotel was not that good but not that even !
They charged us 70RM for early check in the hotel which was disappointing because your rooms were already booked !
Rest everything at the hotel was just fine.
- Lahirucm (6/5): Ok stay - It was a ok stay. Everything is average. We were charged 50rm for early check in and another 50rm for late check out(per room). Had disturbances in the night because the couple in the next room was fighting. Hotel is average but bit old fashioned. Located area is not bit dirty.
- Aanumtaa (4/5): Was confused with service: - Me and my familly was traveling to Kualalmpur, on 4th January 2017. The expereance was not so plasuent to say anything good about this hotel. As first we reach at Hotel lobby between 10am, The person who was at reception was not so plasent and ask 60 ringgit for eirly checkin before 2pm. we were so tried with late night flight so no other option. Second: The breakfast was no so good say anything good about it? The wifi was not working at the room. The aircondition was no control for temperature contron, so, It was not plasesent late night.
Room Was clean but not sasisfactory up to the mark.
Train station was close within 10 minites of walk.
It was't a plasuesent stay.

- Aaardhi (4/5): awful - 80's style of room are under my expectation, smoking room full of smell and dusty. Compare with name and its brand
Hospitality upgrade should be urgently need for saving the business....no more to say....
- sivanib2016 (2/5): Eerie hotel, unfriendly staff, awful location, not cheap!!! - Still unsure as to why we booked this place as our starting point in KL.
The staff that greeted us were not friends day at all. We were made to sort out our own bags. Room was not particularly clean. Sheets not washed for sure. Lack of working sockets. Small bathroom. No toiletries. Towels were very old and torn. Breakfast was bland and not exciting.
Location is also awful. Right next to the crossing of two main roads so the sound of cars is constant.
Would not recommend.
- naziha (6/5): Fair hotel - Not so good
- createamit1GMAILCOM (2/5): Avoid at any cost - We were supposed to stay for 02 nights but decided to stay for one night only since we all were very tired after a long hectic day of touring. The AC was not working, insufficient lights in the room, stained bed sheets & pillow covers made our life horrible.
Even the towels were in terrible condition, torn out & patchy at places. The breakfast was also equally rubbish. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.
- Upul2563 (8/5): stay and hosting KL - We were stay at this hotel for 10 days..it is was destination for Kl city supermarket s..and club areas at bukit bintang..we used monorail in station titiwaza..100m away from the hotel..using monorail..u can visit..chia twon ...city center etc.safe environment. Foodok.. Near by money exchange and also taxi available..
- LoveTraveller1234 (2/5): Worst Hotel - Never Stay - My tour agent book this hotel for me, the worst hotel i have ever stay in my life.
- AC ( You can't control. If you have KID you will have to keep them under bedsheets for whole day)
- No toilet shower ( You will provided with a plastic cup)
- No shampoo or conditioners / body wash ( there was sending some thing, you don;t see what inside and it has bad smell)
- No Parking ( You will have to get down in the road. They don't have facility to park a single car)
- Lobby ( You will not be able to stay more than 5 min on it, no A/C)
- House Keeping ( Never pick the phone, you need to call reception)
- ( until at 7 P.M they don't clean the room)
- Breakfirst ( Same menu served in 365 days.) Nothing to select, eat what they have given
there are 100 of bad about them, So, never stay
- faf (2/5): hot room - rom hot. report to lobby but no action. no syar for this hotel n will kot come back
- sachindilan (6/5): Good hotel for a low budget - We stayed for three days in this hotel. There are some problems with the rooms. But you get what you paid for. Since this is a low budget hotel can't complain much. If you are on a budget I would highly recommend this hotel, else better to find another. Receptionists aren't helpful at all but we met some good people people who are working there who were very nice and helpful to us, especially room service people.
- shalininethicumara (4/5): Holiday Tour to Malaysia - Location & rooms were good. But the staff & the service is not acceptable.at the Reception Ms. Haryana was helpful but the others were very rude & negligent.
Service was awful. There is nothing GRAND about it only thing was the rooms were nice and spacious.
- Kwong Yee (6/5): 接受價格之外,其他較次條件也同時接受 - 傢俬殘舊,床單,氈都多年未換。房友見了沖涼毛巾馬上拒絕使用
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok - Bearable
- Mohammad Afiz (6/5): - Satisfied
- MUHAMMAD KHALIL (6/5): - So far so good. Service provided acceptable with its rate. Parking space need improvement.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfy Stays - It was pleasant and I feel comfortable staying there
- Verified traveler (4/5): Iron board - Iron board should be outside the room
- Verified traveler (2/5): Grand Pacific Hotel is the worst hotel - The staff are rude to the customer. The hotel conditions are very bad, got stains at the bed sheet and not properly maintain
- kok hoe (4/5): Hotel dated - hotel is dated Its got a musky smell along corridor and rooms.
Breakfast was basic noodle and rice only.Plus sign is that the family room was big.
Ok if just a one night stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good Hotel for low budget stay - The Hotel is comfortable for low budget holiday goers. The downside was the centralized air-condition whereby the occupant unable to vary the setting
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pakir - Kurang memuasakan kerana tiada disediakan pakir kerete
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just average - Old hotel but great location. The room very big, its good for family with young children. Hotel provide simple buffet breakfast.
- Munusamy (6/5): Hygiene improvement required - The 2 single bed room rate was good with good housekeeping. But the hygiene of certain things nor really in good situation I.e carpet, ventilation in hall and room very dusty, the blanket with holes and the bed sheet got hairs during check in. Room No.205

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!
- Gary58 (10/5): Location is good - I have stayed at this hotel many years ago and they have done some renovation. The location is in an older part of Kuala Lumpur, however there are many good places to eat.
The staff is very polite and accommodating.
- TourSEasia (10/5): Awesome value. Great location. - 5 min walk from KL Monorail. 5 stops gets you to Bukit Bitang.
Kids loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was good mix of Indian, Malay. Only complaints were the Coffee was awful and wireless was not free. Would definitely stay there again for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): All bar business office. - Internet charges are too expensive.
One staff member extremely rude and unhelpful. Rooms clean and meals very good.
