Guest Reviews
- Shamsher (8/5): The heritage Hotel Bangkok in Silom - Hotel and room were immaculate. Breakfast buffet was well worth the added ฿250. The English level is limited but proficient. The hotel is next to the Chong Nonsi rail station. And next to an excellent seafood restaurant also next to the hotel is a 711 and a wonderful arcade of food like a cafeteria with all different types of foods.
Excellent, excellent excellent location
- Ho Yin Henry (2/5): - Lady at reception was rude. I’ve checked out with my family with two rooms then will stay again with one other companion after at a balcony room, then lady “reminded” that there can only be two in a room. So she assumed I might squeeze 4 people in this room? When life just checked out from two rooms?
Balcony sliding doors cannot be locked, shower screen door was missing causing a mess. Decided to change back to my previous room which was cheaper. But it didn’t end there. At check out a lady not responsible for reception ask us to wait shortly but then asked if we have deposit receipt and room card, then asked if we wanted to store luggage, all at a not-so-good attitude, we had to tell her that we find her rude and that we’re happy to wait for reception.
- Ajoy (10/5): Bangkok Silom - Great location. Right next to the Chong Nonsi BTS. Tons of places to eat and drink around the area. Simple, functional rooms. Nothing fancy, but welcoming and comfortable.
- Mike992 (6/5): Never again - I stayed for 5 nights here and it will be my last time. The pool was filthy as it looked a very deep brown color the entire time. When I asked about it I was told it would be ok but tomorrow never came, and the front desk acted like it was not big deal although it was in the mid to high 90's my entire stay. I paid for breakfast and they will not cook your eggs to your liking, you get a fried egg or nothing, no special requests. Housekeeping was fine but they also do not provide any soap for the bathroom sink, only for the shower.
- Richard (4/5): - The location of the hotel is fantastic, the hotel is very old needs update him, mould problems in the shower. Air conditioning is noisy, the beds are not comfortable.
- shaunlss (2/5): The hotel that I paid to run away from - I first stayed at this hotel in 2017 and my experience was superb, which is the reason why I chose to book this hotel for my Bangkok trip in Dec 2024. This time round (in Dec 2024), I was surprisingly proven wrong. Let’s me just list the issues:
1) Air conditioning was not working
2) Air conditioning was leaking
3) Air conditioning filters was extremely dirty and full of dust
4) The room floor was dusty upon first check in
5) The shower screen door is missing
6) Toilet amenities is bare to non-existence. No toothbrush, hand soap, face towels. When call to the housekeeping, its confirm that the hotel policy does not provide these.
7) Housekeeping department closes at night. If you want something after they close, you will have to wait for next morning.
8) Engineering department closes at night. If anything is in need of urgent repairs, you will have to wait until next morning. In my case, my air conditioning was not working, and the staff say have to wait until next morning when the engineering departments opens.
9) The night shift staff is, to my best guess is only 1 person manning everything. This staff is really rude and not customer minded. In my case, when the air conditioning issue arise, I was so called "blamed" by the night shift reception for not reporting the issue in in the morning when I was going out and only raising the issue when I come back to the hotel at night.
You be your own judge based on the items I listed above. When the air conditioning issue (which was the main issue because it affected the sleep as it will be stuffy and hot in the room) was raised, i insisted that a new room to be changed since there is no one that could come fix the issue at night. After much heated verbal exchanges with that night shift staff, he changed my room, but low and behold, the new room also have the same air condition issue and the rest of the issue similar to what I listed above. I then endured the night in displeasure.
In fact, the experience and situation was so bad that I was wondering if I should change to another hotel as I have fully paid for this one. At last, I decided that I do not want to spoil my new year’s celebration and holiday. I booked another hotel at full price and moved out the same day after just staying 2 out of 5 nights. To be honest, I was extremely happy I did move out.
After this experience, I swear that I will not book this Heritage Hotel Silom ever again, no matter the price.
- Q551IPjeromet (2/5): Stay away ! - I arrived on the 5th, the reception could not find my booking, I had to wait for 15min until they manage to find a room for my confirmed booking. Receptionist forgot to give my passport back and ask to bellboy to go get it for me. I got to my room and was really thirsty. The hotel supposed to provide free water so asked reception for a bottle of water. Same guy replied, housekeeping is gone by now but you have 7/11 by the street. I saw bottle of water behind him and he replied this is for the staff only … what a service.
The receptionists are constantly on their phone, no good morning no good night, they don’t know anything about where to go for laundry, which rooftop to go to, or anything about nearby attraction.
Concerning the room and the facilities :
safe was broken
Window curtains and shower curtain super dirty
Poor room condition
Swimming pool is broken and so dirty, has not been cleaned even once while I was there.
Windows are dirty
Swimming pool deck is so old and dangerous
Old gym and cockroach in the toilet.
I left earlier than expected as I couldn’t stay in this hotel and of course the great customer service refused to refund my money.
Stay away, one of the worse hotel experience I ever had and I not a picky guy !
- T6297OFbrettb (2/5): A health hazard - 3.2
“A health hazard”
This hotel was one of the most disgustingly dirty, dated and all round awful places I’ve ever stayed. After checking in with staff who barely look up as they bark 1000 deposit, cash only at you, you make your way to the room. You enter to be assaulted by the unbearable stench of urine and god knows what else, your room is dated and filthy. You’ll never shower alone knowing the mould all around you is thriving. Time to go out? There’s a safe that can store your valuables… just a few catches: it’s not attached to the wall and you can’t change the combination from 0000. If you like being woken up by the tranquil sound of a waterfall, you’ll love the rooms built in water feature, which also doubles as a barely functioning AC. Go to check out three days early and the staff almost pretend to care, but just shrug and stare blankly at you.
- Viengxai (8/5): - It is very close to center, easy access to BTS Sky train, the room is large with good rooftop swimming pool.
- josefaa530 (2/5): Unprofessional Operator Service Especially For Foreigners - To the hotel manager team,
I would like to file a complaint about the operator team who answered our call today, July 12, 2024, around 11:00 - 11:10 AM. They were very unprofessional and seemed untrained in providing operator services. Our hospital called to politely ask if we could speak with our patient who is checked in at your hotel. The operator responded that our patient had already checked out. When we asked what time the patient checked out, because our pick-up van was on the way to the hotel, the operator said they did not know the time. For everyone's information, hotel operators or staff should know when a client checks out for security purposes. Your operator staff should not respond that they do not know, and when asked for their name, they should not abruptly hang up the phone. This behavior is highly unprofessional.
We hope that next time you change the inappropriate behavior of your operator because you are receiving international clients.
Thank you.
- Fearless33752036056 (2/5): Avoid this hotel - Theft in room. The safe was not working and I had to leave cash in my luggage. They stole partial of it and when I reported to the front office, they said they will investigate. To and fro, nothing good came back. Don't expect good follow up from this hotel. They priced it low to entice travellers to stay with them. Be aware. Do not leave valuables or cash in the room.
- J1082CUjerrys (2/5): BUYER BEWARE OF THE HERITAGE SILOM HOTEL - BUYER BEWARE OF THE HERITAGE
We have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok since 1998. This hotel has to rank as one of the worst hotels. The photos are so deceptive that there are no actual words to descript how miss leading the photos are. Upon arriving at the hotel, we asked for two key cards, since we travel together but do different actvities. We were told that "no hotel in Bangkok gives two key cards." I know for a fact this is a lie. Many hotels that use actual "keys" don't give two physical keys, but when it comes to key cards, I have never been refused a second key card for the other person staying in the room when the room is registered to two people. Even with physical keys, we have been on occasion been given two keys. Our room was to be a COMFORT DOUBLE ROOM. I suppose everyone has a different definition of the word COMFORT. For me, comfort in a hotel room would mean the bed would have more than just one pillow per person. I suffer from Acid Reflux and need to sleep with my showers elevated. When I went to the front desk to request an additional pillow. I was told it would cost an additional 100THB per night for the use of the pillow. For me, comfort would mean the bathroom would have at least one towel bar to hang wet towels on to dry, especially given the fact the hotel has put a sign in the bathroom asking guests to hang towels in order to use the towels more than just once. For me, comfort would mean the bathroom would have a toilet paper holder so the toilet paper didn't have to sit on the floor, or vanity, or back of the toilet, or in "your lap". Finally, as for the bathroom, ordinarily a guest would expect a bar of soap or wash clothes on the vanity. At the Heritage, this doesn't seem to be something that is considered to be necessary in a COMFORT room. (I think you get the idea of my definition of comfort.) The closet only has 2 hangers for two people. One evening at 6:15PM, we decided to make a trip to the pool. When the lift door opened, the hall and the area leading to the pool were in total darkness. I can appreciate saving energy when a facility isn't being used, yet I would expect a motion sensor switch to turn on the lights when guests enter the pool area. After finding our way to the pool, the lounge chairs had large holes in them. You couldn't sit down for fear the chair would give way. We swam in a dark pool, hoping we wouldn't encounter something that we might regret health-wise in a few days. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is poor once you get past the lobby area. BUYER BEWARE!
- aas148 (4/5): Bad second visit - I was here 8 years ago. There had been made no investment at al in these years and the privé has doubled. Made a poor impression and feit like the investering just wants to cash till the hotel closes. Beds at the pool were all broken en there was even een hole in the terras
- Verified traveler (4/5): A very basic hotel in town. Dont expect much. - [Room 701]
Good location, but lack of room amenities and average room condition. Check-in process was seamless and rather fast, but only 1 key card was given. Room wifi comnection is unstable, i get kicked out very often. No tissue papers provided in the room. Room telephone is not working.
- alancR7397NB (2/5): Negligent - Abysmally maintained; beds mouldy, TV hanging off the wall, signal frequently lost, all gym equipment long since broken, all sun loungers broken, water pouring from Aircon four days in a row, sundeck flooring missing, broken or raised...a one foot gap in the barrier on the sundeck 9 floors up..a child running around or somebody who slips while getting out of the pool or an enthusiastic photographer getting too close to the edge could easily fall - gross negligence. Loose wiring and missing fire switches, perishing wood fittings, filthy air extraction. The only advantage of this place is its location... but there are countless hotels in this location and so stay in them.
- weif0ngs (2/5): Filthy kettle - Rude staff. Filthy kettle. Staff not helpful. When I talk to the staff she answers sarcastically and tells me to be quiet. Doesn't seem interested to solve the problem nor apologetic just tells me to be quiet.
- LonnieStone (2/5): Room no power socket - There was no power outlet at the bed side nor at the front table. Only power sockets available were hidden in the cupboard. I called receptionist and told her that there's no power sockets. She sends someone to check on air-conditioning. I told her that the problem was no sockets. She sends electrician to check on electrical problems. I told him not electrical problem but he ignores me. I go downstairs to the receptionist and told her loudly why I have to explain 3 times to which she rudely told me to keep quiet and that it is not her fault. Some older lady goes with me and checks the room and finds no socket and just tells me that it's not her problem and that she cannot do everything for me. I have stayed at this hotel many times and this is how they treat me.
- 499melindat (2/5): Avoid - Awful hotel. Dirty. Staff rude. What more can i say. Pool, you wouldn't put your pet fish in. It eas disgusting. The A/C in the room kept us awake it was so noisy. Would not recommend. If I could give it 0 stars, it definitely deserves it
- Voyager00798840991 (2/5): Wow just wow - Avoid like the plague. There is nothing good about this hotel. Reception staff were rude on arrival. The room not clean there were chips and a used condom wrapper under my bed. The mattress like concrete. The aircon the noisiest I've ever Come across. Location was the only upside. So glad to only have only had the displeasure of only staying here for 2 sleepless nights. Would give 0 stars but not allowed
- gavinxyz (10/5): Still a nice place to stay at Bkk - Near to ChongNonSi BTS, 2-3 walk to reach. Many eating places and convenient shops around the hotel. Breakfast is simple, but nice. Swimming pool at top floor with nice view.
Room is not new, but still nice. It was refurbished some parts not long ago. It is worth to stay.
Check in is strict at 2pm, not able to check in earlier but you can leave your luggages.
- BEE HOON (6/5): - Noisy aircon compressor,
Leaking water from ceiling,
Dusty.
Lack of maintenance.
Only Good point is near BTS.
- Seng Tat (2/5): - Lift spoiled, just using 1 lift. And the access card just giving 1, it’s very inconvenient for 2 person staying. Pillow only giving 2 for 2 person, had request for more, but rejected. My bad experience for staying this hotel, and I won’t stay again future.
- SIM (6/5): Uncomfortable Stay - The air conditioning fan is too strong and cold, then the temperature become higher, it seem like the temperature setting not constant.
The room tv cannot watch any program, asked the staff also don’t know how to fix it. And the funny thing is, the room phone has not wire Lol 😂
- ONG SOON (8/5): - Near bts , food & market nearby. The room air conditioner too cold.
- Rayner C P (4/5): - Alwsys having problem with the door key.
The bed mattress is uneven and you can the spring when you ley down.
dusty and the floor in room crack can easily hurt oneself .
- Adam (2/5): - Bad
- Charin (6/5): - The location is very good, conveniently connects you to pretty much everywhere having BTS right next door.
The place is not in a good condition. And you have to send Expedia confirmation to them by e-mail!! Weird
disclaimer; experiences are subjective to an individual. Do not credit other people's opinions over facts.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked the balconies, however with two people to a room you need two chairs to sit on the balcony
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I forgot to take picture of ac compreser which were next to my bed. 3 ac compreser of different rooms.
Lot of noise due to which i couldn't sleep whole night.
- Brandon (10/5): Convenient comfortable secure budget friendly - Perfect location just steps from bts. 711 close by Cube across the street. Rather quiet stretch. Cafe attached is convenient. Would stay here again no doubt.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - All was good.
We get upgrade to family room.
Staff helpful.
- Loi (10/5): - U stay happy n feel safe always.
- Daren (2/5): Rude reception - Horrible rude reception. Two days in a row on 10 Jan 2020 evening shift (a guy) and 11 Jan 2020 (a lady). They should not be sited at the front line.
There are many hotels in Silom that's very nice. So for those considering staying here why even bother or to save a few dollars and ruin you night(s) with rude reception.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Upgraded from comfort to panorama room. Big rooms and great shower, super powerful. Perfect location, bit old but good value rates. Aircon is loud but it's OK for me.
Only worst thing is someone opened the 2-level-locked door when I was still in bed at 7:25 AM, but I had a chair blocking the door so it made noise. Only a key card can unlocked 2-level-locked door. So terrible.
- UKTraveler (10/5): - Big rooms and great shower, super powerful. Perfect location, bit old but good value rates.
- Eduardo (6/5): You pay for everything - The location is great just a stone throw away from a BTS station and a lot of affordable restaurants outside. The only problem we had was when we needed basic stuff like an extra pillow, the charge for everything. We were two people and my friend could not sleep with one pillow so we requested one and they charged us 100 baht/pillow/DAY!!! I never stayed in that kind of hotel. Will definitely not come back. Stay away if you want comfort and if youre staying for more than a night. The staff were great though very helpful. They also had a pricelist for when you break something like if you break the sheets, 2000baht, destroy dresser 15000 baht. I was so scared I took pictures of already broken things in the room just in case it was a scam. But thankfully no additional charge from broken things inside the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The noise of air conditioner was terrible. If people are sensible can not sleep.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Short Stay - Overall the room was good size, bed was good. Only downside air conditioning stopped working just before I checked out. Staff very helpful and always polite.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Downtown area, convenient location, near sky train station.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms are very dated. Aircon is loud as an airplane, it's really hard to sleep with it on. The balcony door would not lock. There is close to zero lighting (love hotel feeling), if you have a mosquito in your room it will feed on you forever because there is no way to catch it. You only get a small shower gel and shampoo for 2 people, which is ridiculous for the amount of money you pay. The newest issue is that you cannot get 2 keycards for 2 people because they have a "shortage".
The location is very close to BTS, has free car park and not expensive compared to other hotels in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good condition clean close to transport staff very friendly
- LEE (2/5): - Poor maintenance, old facilities and dirty! Would not stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good central area. However, the room was dark and I couldn’t get a room with a double bed. Fitness facilities were rather limited.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Theme of my room was neon pink, and everything is pink. Just felt like the room is designed for other purpose. Also the air condition is insanely cold(even when you adjust the temp etc) and the blanket is thin, which basically serve no purpose in keeping us warm. But nevertheless despite the above mentioned, staff last were friendly, room is clean. Just have to remind guest to bring their own sweat pants and jacket.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Facilities are ok. Rooms are ok. Aircon sucks, tskesvery long to cool the room.Minibar is just a name. Only 2 water snd 2 coke is the minibar.
- Effendi (4/5): - Friendly staff
Rooms were dirty (bed, curtains, bathroom) and run down.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location good very near BTS,room comfort and clean but the shower room no proper soap frame case or shampoo to put ,nearby have 7-11,food court and market, walking distance to Silom, only morning breakfast no change almost the same everyday but taste ok ,nice swiming pool ,we will come back in the future
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property is very close to the sky train station which is a main mean of transportation, and just a five min. walk to the night open market.
- R (6/5): Tired but convenient - The staff are always lovely here, and I have been coming for 10 yrs. Unfortunately I don't think the Hotel has ever been upgraded or maintained during that period, it's looking very tired.
- Barry (4/5): Not stay again - Air condition was not working well, no towels even after I asked to them. Breakfast was minimal. I used to stay here before - every time the standard has gone down.
- Wei Min (2/5): - Hotel getting run-down, aircon compressor breakdown in midnight...
- VC (6/5): - Good location but the room is old and soundproof but bad.
- cdawson (6/5): - staff quite helpful and friendly
- Anonymous (8/5): - I personally think that the bed mattress is a bit too hard to sleep with.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Pool is closer for renovations. Hotel did not inform us. They blamed cheaptickets.com. We checked out early as bangkok without a pool is not a great place to be
- Tony (8/5): - Great location. Close to BTS station and 7-11
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Our room was very dark. Only 1 light was working in the toilet. I reported it on my 1st night but no action. Then on second day I reported again and still no action. I decided to change room. But second room the aircon was not so cold. We were given 2 pillows and there was charge for extra pillow. Housekeeping service close at 4pm on Saturday where we checkin at 3pm plus. I thought housekeeping should be 24hrs. No toothbrush provided too.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The swimming pool was closed for renovation without notice in advance.
- JoWee (6/5): - Best part that this hotel is within mins away from Chong Nonsi BTS Station; has a massage place right below the hotel and a 7-11 nearby.
Condition of the room was below average. Do not expect much since we had heard before quite a few reviews on it. Only given 1 access card which wasn’t much of an issue. The towels was tattered and bathroom ceiling was peeling. However, bed was decent and comfy. Decent place just to sleep if you are out most of the day.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Electric conditions not always good. I need to change the room because light was not working good in my original room.
Cleanliness should be improved.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I really like the location next to the sky train. The hotel needs several things to be fixed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient and staff is very friendly. Overall comfortable. Probably better with more lights as room is pretty dim.
- Panpan (6/5): - Average, one step to BTS Chong Nonsri which is the best part.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - the room that i got did not look like the one in the pictures, it was clear that they only renovated only certain rooms because i got a dirtier and older carpeted pink and white room whereas my friend shot the wooden newer looking ones. The service was excellent and everything was going well until the last night (3am till we checked out) where my tap water was actually cloudy white so we didn’t dare to brush our teeth or boil water.
- I CHIN (2/5): 這是什麼飯店!外面晴空萬里,房裡滴答滴答下雨! - 這不是我在hotel.com 訂過最便宜的房間但是我訂到最最最最爛的房間。
This is not the cheapest price for a hotel room that I have booked on hotels.cm but it is the worst ever and ever hotel that I have ever stayed from hotels.com! EVER!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely pool on roof. Hotel generally excellent, room really spacious. Lovely staff all very helpfull. Right next to MTS station. Plenty of small restaurants nearby. Needs a small amount of sprucing up, but certainly does not detract from this being a very good stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The good thing about this hotel is convenience because the hotel close to BTS but the room was old and not clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Friendly staff. Shabby hotel. Room not clean and run down. Windows in the whole place haven’t been cleaned in a looong time.
Cafeteria for breakfast not clean either. Breakfast lukewarm, dried out, horrible coffee.
Overall very disappointing, the star rating should be ** at a maximum.
- Garry (8/5): - Great location near Bts pool on roof is nice. Gym is dated. Booked two beds but got one was only disappointment
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Use to be a nice hotel. But things are changing.
Very noisy AC, bed was hard as a stone!
Breakfast wasn't good.
One small piece of soap for room for two nights.
One shampoo for two nights for two people.
Hotel staff didn't act friendly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - SUPER DIRTY
NO SERVICE MIND
LYING A LOT TO THE CUSTOMER
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel staff are much friendlier and more professional than last time we stayed here (last year). Room are old and shows significant signs of deterioration. We come back here because of location and price, but are starting to look elsewhere because the comforts of the beds and general room comforts have really gotten worse.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Our first impression, the lobby smells weird, maybe it was tiger balm. The second day, morning, they got no water at all, they said that they got some issues with the water system and they solved it in several hours. The restaurant for breakfast smells bad. Everuthing okay until the last day, the key card was not functioned, and i asked them to fix it and they told me they got the problem with the key card machine, so for the last day everytime i wanted to open my room I must asked the room service to open it. The best thing is the location, near to the Chong Nonsi BTS Station.
- Thow Hua (6/5): Location is great. That’s about it I guess... - Cleanliness especially bathroom or toilet can be improved. Breakfast buffet can be boring after 2 nights of stay. But, location near to Chong Nonsi BTS station is excellent.
- Ed (4/5): - They have no iron, no extra pillow, no tooth brush !
And the Aircon are so noisy. Carpet is dusty, floor is dirty.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Get location for transport.the staff friendly and helpful. This is my second time at this hotel. The only things breakfast not the best would be better to go out fir breakfast.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Looked really good in the photos but the actual hotel was shabby. The hotel was not able to provide an international adaptor. There was no cable television as advertised only a few local channels in grainy quality. Mistakenly opened two bottles of water in the fridge that I had to pay for because the complimentary bottles were hidden somewhere obscure. Bathroom was mildewed in certain spots and fixtures were rusty. Main consolation was that the hotel was right at the doorstep of the BTS, and the amazing massage place - Lek's - at the ground floor.
- Dee (10/5): - Great hotel for solo travelers. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. Clean room. Location is very near to BTS and lots of restaurants nearby.
- Roger (6/5): - Great location , staff was nice. For the price it’s fine. Colors of the room ie lime green bathroom were off putting.
- Marc (10/5): - Location was PERFECT
Surroundings EQUIPPED with AMENITIES
VALUE for money
Great comfortable room
Highly recommended
- Pk (6/5): - Friendly staffs, however, need more improvements on the room conditions and cleanliness.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok but not more than that - Everything was fine except the hotel really was in disrepair. Our room only had minor issues but my dads room all of the facet handles were broken
- Hikki (10/5): - 1mins walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station and 7-11 . Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Room is okay, please pay a bit more to stay better room , don’t try standard room. :)
- Verified traveler (4/5): Stay elsewhere if you can. - This poor hotel is pretty run down. The lobby is updated and beautiful, but the rooms are old and showing lots of patch work repairs.
I was most annoyed that they charged us $15 usd to USE an extra blanket for one night. I didn't want to keep it!
Wifi was really bad in the rooms. If we wanted to use it we had to go to the lobby and hope there was no one there, otherwise, that was crap too.
The pool was old and grungy, there was even a cockroach chillin' at the pool.
We won't return to this hotel, but we loved the area and would go back to the area.
- PT (6/5): - Very good location since it is only 5 mins walk from BTS Chong Nonsi station
- Verified traveler (6/5): Corridor Has Smell - It was pleasant. Buy hotel can change its rusty water pipes and put pandan leaves or fragrance/aromatheraphy at lift lobbies.
- HUY (10/5): Good and convenient hotel. - Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Good location, just about 30 meters walk to Chongnonsi BTS station.
- SY (6/5): Good location, lacks facilities and hotel services - Located near various cafes, making it convenienf for brunch.
For the room we stayed in, the chair was slightly stained. We wanted to borrow an iron for ironing the clothes to wear to a wedding but its wasnt available, neither was ironing service. Also, toothbrushes were not available upon request. Having said that, staffs were friendly and helpful.
- Dale (6/5): Overrated Hotel low 3 star - It was passable . There is no premium channels in fact no channel actually was clear . Very basic toiletries and only coffee provided no tea bags at all . One room card for room even though I paid for two guests and they wanted 500 baht for the second . Card !
Some staff were helpful while girl on main reception was rude , rooms not cleaned properly and in 3 days not once mopped so floor was dirty . Breakfast was very basic . Good location was the one good thing
- Andrew (4/5): Very disappointing! - Hotel had obviously been renovated recently, which means some parts are ok and some are bad. The finish is not good: big gaps in the floor in the bedroom where the new/old didn’t meet properly.
Bed very soft, not comfortable. THEY CHARGE 100THB PER NIGHT FOR AN EXTRA PILLOW, which is completely unreasonable. The staff claim this is a mysterious policy but don’t show it written anywhere, so I think it goes straight in their pockets.
If you get a room facing the back, you’ll be disturbed all night by the aircon units that shudder and shake and explode, over and over all night long. Not recommended.
This place should be a 2 star, nowhere near what is widely accepted as a 4 star hotel. If you’re considering staying here, find one of the local hostages instead, which look cleaner and less hassle than this supposed 4 star hotel is.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Aircon not working
Drain tap defect
Showing have to be hand held
Tap is loose and go round and round
Generally ok but not high standard
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Noisy Chinese guest in early morning hours and in dining room.
Good price and location.
- Wong (8/5): Near to BTS station - Near to BTS station,Chong Nongsi, which makes it very convienient for travel
- Douglas (6/5): Easy Hotel next to BTS, 3 stops away from Siam - The first room provided to me looks nice, but the AC compressor installation was not good and make big noise when running as they are installed at the balcony. Complained to the front desk and they told me it was fixed when I was out in an hour. I just doubt, and checked, yes, IT IS NOT FIXED!!
Using another 30 mins to tell the staff and ask them come over, and the staff was helpful and switched me to an other room. very responsive. they are helpful, but need some improvement for the Engineering team.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable distance from both airport - Staff need training to greet smile with customers. And surely some English crash course would help a lot.
- MARK ANGELO (2/5): - Awful service. Just really a place to sleep. No iron. My room 701 was no hot shower. Very annoying service. Will never go back. Instead go to Havent Met You hotel. Its new
- Xinh (8/5): Great Location! - Our room was not the same as the pictures on the website. Interior could use some updating. We had lime green furniture which I found odd, otherwise no issues with this hotel. Location is great, staff is friendly.
- T (2/5): Horrible experience - Due to my flight delay, I became the last guest to check-in at 3am, however the hotel room which I booked for was under maintenance, and the hotel was assigning another hotel room for me from the same hotel group.
But the hotel room which arranged was terrible, full of dust, with insect in the room, no hot water. Finally I have to move back to the original hotel building, wait for their early guest check out, then cleaning up me. At the end I got my room at 5am.
Horrible hotel, terrible experience.
- Michael (4/5): - Even change other room, most of M&E provisions are working with unhealthy condition including follows:-
1. Lighting is flicking.
2, No hot water supply.
3. Inside surface of water kettle is extremely dirty.
4. Guest room floor is dirty.
- Kris (4/5): Disappointing - Extremely disappointed. The fact that Heritage Hotel Bangkok advertises itself as a 4-star hotel makes me feel extremely shortchanged. I've had better experiences in 3-star hotels.
- Staff are neither welcoming nor friendly.
- Hotel charges guests for bringing food into the room.
- No toothbrush provided. That's a basic amenity that all hotels have.
- No slippers provided, unlike what's mentioned in their website. This is also a basic amenity that all hotels have.
- There was no balcony, unlike what's mentioned in their website.
- Cupboard below the sink was spoilt and displaced. Extremely unsightly especially when you just got to your room after checking in. Was never fixed.
- Toilet door had a huge chunk which was damaged.
- The lone pillow provided was extremely thin and uncomfortable.
- Bedside lights are inconsistent. One has warm light and the other has a cooler light. This isn't a hotel feature because I had two rooms and the other room had constant lighting all throughout.
- Closet door was spoilt. A light automatically turns on inside the closet when the closet door is opened. But the sensor had something wrong and the light is always on. Big problem if the closet door is made of glass and is in clear view from the bed. Basically, good luck sleeping with that light on.
- WiFi was terribly slow. Keeps disconnecting too.
