• Lucy (3/5): We will not be back - Location Hotel facility is old and dated, the air conditioning broke during our stay, we slept in 80 degree room, beds were too stiff, dirty looking paint job in hallway. Not worth the amount we paid.

Närheten till tunnelbana är skönt. Trevlig personal. Ett härligt område med närheten till Chinatown och Little Italy samt gångavstånd till 9/11 Memorial. AC krånglade en dag/natt, men den fixade dom efter påpekande.

• Dmytro (2/5): Never again - Guys on reseption nice. The hotel has no soundproofing. It is impossible to sleep. You will hear everything from the street (the hotel is located at the intersection of two streets with a lot of cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc.) and from inside - there is a huge distance under the door to the room, through which you can even hear what is happening in the neighboring rooms. The food for breakfast is terrible - only scrambled eggs and bacon. No vegetables. No cappuccino or latte. In the middle of the night, the pipes in the bathroom start to make terrible sounds. As the staff said, "Maybe the air in the pipes is coming out." I highly do not recommend staying here if you want to get enough sleep, have a normal breakfast, and be productive during the day.

Special thanks to the upper floor barman for nice cocktails and a friendly conversation! The breakfast was OK but a bit basic. The hotel staff were helpful and efficient, but some of them seemed to be in a bad mood.

Персонал не признал своей вины и обвинили во всем booking. Нам было все-равно кто прав, кто виноват в этой ситуации, но отпуск был испорчен, так как ,единственно, почему я забронировала этот отель - высокий этаж и вид, в итоге не получила ни того, ни другого. Кто там в отзывах писал, что завтраки разнообразные это полный бред, мы были 3 дня и все 3 дня было одно и тоже. А еще забыла, тараканы в номере, как дополнение и в последнюю ночь нашего пребывания в номере кондиционер перестал работать на тепло, а как раз на улице похолодало, и единственно, что нам сказали на ресепшене "Включите на холод". Это гениально, с учетом того, что нам нужно было согреться.

• Brian (7/5): Basic and reasonable cost - The location was good for where we wanted to be. To describe the property as FOUR star I would consider to be very much overstated. The property is definitely tired and run down, in need of some updating and refurbishment. I would consider it to be more on a par with a TWO star, or even, a Hostal type property in Spain. I would not consider the use of cardboard crockery for breakfast as being anywhere near FOUR star, however the food offered was quite reasonable. Do not expect bell boys or such-like, it’s very much diy. The bed was large and comfortable enough, no problem with noise at night either. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, when asked for directions and eating recommendations. Luggage storage was available after checking out at no cost.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, especially considering the size of our group. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of, and that level of hospitality truly stood out. What impressed us most was how the team handled unexpected challenges. When our flight was canceled, the staff stepped up immediately and assisted with last-minute accommodations seamlessly and with a positive attitude. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled with care, flexibility, and genuine concern for our group. This hotel truly understands customer service. A big thank-you to the entire team for making our stay such a positive experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Wyndham Garden Chinatown to anyone traveling to New York City—especially groups.

Es gab immer frisches Obst und wenn was leer war, wurde es rasch aufgefüllt. Klar, über Einweggeschirr lässt sich streiten. Das ist aber kein Problem des Hotels, das ist in den USA einfach so. Also, wir haben uns in der kompletten Woche sehr wohl gefühlt und wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Die Lage war auch super. Schnell war man zum Beispiel in Soho oder an der nächsten U-Bahn-Station. Das Empire State Building kann man vom Hotel aus gut sehen. Einmal sind wir bis dorthin gelaufen und wieder zurück. Viele Schritte, aber absolut machbar.

A la hora de hacer el checking nos querían alojar en una habitación para 2 personas, si bien habíamos reservado una habitación para 4 personas. La primera noche nos alojamos los 4 en una habitación de 2 personas. A partir de la segunda noche nos alojaron en una habitación familiar para 4 personas.

La ubicación muy buena. Teníamos cerca el subte por si querías volver de esta manera. Solo tengo para quejarme el desayuno y el lugar en el que se servia. El lugar en el que se servía era muy feo, oscuro y sin luz. Nosotros estuvimos en época de frío. Afuera estaba haciendo unos -20° y sinceramente teníamos que bajar al desayunador con la misma cantidad de ropa que con la que saliamos a caminar. No tenia variedad de comida. Todos los días comías lo mismo porque no había mas nada que probar.

There is a restaurant onsite at lobby level, and breakfast in the basement. I had a high floor with a view, which was spectacular. The bed was really comfortable. The Asian gentleman who supervised the breakfast was really lovely and polite. A special shout out to him! There was no ramp at the entrance for wheelchairs or people struggling with heavy luggage If there was, and I didn't see it, it wasn't pointed out to me as I struggled with my suitcase. Only 1 bottle of water per room per stay was a little mean. The soundproofing between the rooms wasn't great.

• whitebeart (10/5): CHINESE NEW YEAR 2026 - This is our second Chinese New Year stay at Wyndham Garden Chinatown. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, and the Cafe are wonderful. We were always happily greeted and my kids felt like V.I.P.s. The Cafe personnel (Steve & Pedro) were very helpful and made my kids feel like family. Perfect location for me to go and participate in my Lion Dances and all the Chinese New Year parties we need to attend

Every time I stay here, I am reminded what genuine hospitality is supposed to feel like. From the moment I arrive, Claudia Fernandez welcomes me with professionalism, warmth, and sincerity. Shana Martinez is equally incredible — attentive, kind, and consistently making sure every detail of my stay is seamless. Zhane is always such a bright light, especially during my early morning walks with my service dog. We’ve shared conversations about life, business, and our dogs, and those moments reflect the true sense of community this hotel creates. As a service dog traveler, feeling welcomed and respected is essential, and the entire team treats both me and my service dog with dignity, kindness, and genuine care. That level of awareness and compassion means everything. During my most recent stay, I was upgraded to the 16th floor, and the view of New York City and the Empire State Building was absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean, peaceful, and beautifully prepared. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom felt modern and luxurious. It created the perfect space for me to rest, recharge, and focus as an entrepreneur. What makes this property even more remarkable is the value. Being able to stay in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by culture, community, and opportunity, at such a fair and consistent rate is something I deeply appreciate.
