Important Information
Towels are not included but can be rented on site for a surcharge of EUR 5 per towel. Alternatively, guests can bring their own.
Any reservaion for 10 or more people per night, is considered a group booking with different Terms and Conditions. Group bookings can only be made through the property's reservations team. Otherwise, Generator reserves the right to cancel it.
The property can only allow Dogs with a maximum weight of 75lbs./ 34kg.
PAYMENT: For Advance Purchase rates/Non Refundable rates, we require the payment card used for booking to be presented upon check in.
AGE RESTRICTIONS: In Germany unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancelation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

- Natalia (9/5): - The staff is wonderful, I don't speak German but the guy at the reception was great at explaining everything, the bed was clean, it was comfortable to sleep, I had a room in the women's dorm, and the only downside was that the girls were too loud when they left, but that's not the hostel's fault, and they left hair in the bathroom after themselves; you go into the restroom and there it is all over the floor in the sink, untidy, Overall I liked everything and will definitely come back☺️

Además no es un hotel pensado en descanso pienso q deberían aclarar su público objetivo ya que mucho adolescente o muy jóvenes las habitaciones que obviamente no se saben comportar hacen bulla a la madrugada entonces para personas mayores eso no es agradable

- Bianca (8/5): - Ótima localização, perto de vários pontos turísticos e de vários meios de transporte. Tudo bem limpinho, os quartos são arrumados todo dia. As instalações são modernas e tudo funciona direitinho. Minhas únicas questões foram o box do banheiro, que não tem espaço pra colocar suas coisas direito, então você fica entre levar as coisas pro box e molhar tudo ou se vestir sem muita privacidade. E também senti que por ser um hostel grande, acaba que não tem tanta socialização entre os hóspedes (mas posso ter tido azar com a época que fiquei).

We couldn’t have the bathroom door open without gagging. When we asked for them to fix it they did scrub it and made it cleaner and the smell was reduced until we had to use the shower again and it got worse

- Michelle Park (8/5): Nice "Party Hostel" - It is a "Party Hostel". If you like it calm, go to Wombats or Meininger. If you like to party, get drunk and do whatever, this is the right place for you. It is clean and staff is nice. Well organized, just like most Germans hostels. Was mostly all fine. I just did not expect a "Party Hostel". I arrived in at 10pm and was not sure if it was the right entrance, cause it looked like a Bar or Club to me, with all these people standing outside. But it is nothing negative. It is a nice clean hostel with friendly staff. You just need to know what to expect. You won't get bored here though.

No pueden permitir esas condiciones higiénicas/sanitarias, ya que el daño que se nos ha causado no se va a ver compensado, así que traten de acabar con los insectos para la próxima estancia.

- Jesus (8/5): Terrible receptionist, Cleanliness has declined. - Good location When I made the reservation, I requested the bottom bunk bed.During check-in, the receptionist (a girl with glasses) assigned me the top bunk and claimed that there were no bottom bunks available. When I got to the room, I saw that the bottom bunk was empty, and I spoke with a girl in the room who confirmed that it was indeed vacant. I went back downstairs, and the receptionist told me that the bed had been reserved since the previous day and would remain reserved for the next few days. Two days later, a guy arrived in the room and took that bed. I asked him about it, and he confirmed that he had just checked in and had been assigned that bed. I am very dissatisfied with that receptionist, whose attitude clearly shows that she cares very little about her job. I also noticed that the quality of the accommodation has declined in terms of cleanliness and the condition of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. In four days, they did not clean the bathroom even once (they only replaced the toilet paper), and they simply removed the used bed linen to put a new set on the bed for the next guest.

Há festas no térreo, que ecoam pela janela, nos quartos acima. Muitos adolescentes, que chegam de baladas de madrugada, gritando pelos corredores constantemente. O hotel não parece se preocupar muito com isso. Teve uma noite que meu marido precisou sair e pedir a adolescentes no corredor que parassem de gritar. Valeu pela localização. Mas preço exorbitante pelo que é entregue. Certamente deve haver opções mais agradáveis ao redor.

- Élio (9/5): Would come back - 15 years as digital nomad experiencing hostels because of its atmosphere, meeting new people and having fun after a day exploring the city. The Generator Hostel was a great choice, well located, clean, full of games and entertainment, staffs were 100% friendly. It’s a 16euros hostel, so no point to complaint about shared bathrooms, about night noise from street (city center). I do recommend it and I would stay again, if not the Generator in Berlin, in the others Generator in other main town. Key card never failed, shower with nice temperature of water and no need of taping. The luggage room it’s a paid locker.

- Kanayeva (8/5): - Все было хорошо: персонал, кухня, чистота. Расположение отличное. Было бы хорошо, если бы персонал знал др. языки. Очень много ездят туристы из Казахстана.

- Laura (7/5): Prima hotel, eenvoudig maar goede prijs/ kwaliteit - Prima hotel, meeste personeel was vriendelijk, alles zag er redelijk fris uit , de sfeer was goed en vanaf deze locatie kan je makkelijk berlijn in. Het hotel is erg gehorig, zware deuren die veel lawaai maken. Op het moment dat wij er waren was er ook veel jongelui die bij anderen op de.deuren gingen bonzen voor.de grap. Maar dat ligt meer aan de kinderen en hun ouders dan aan het hotel. Het ontbijt is zeer karig, Maar oké. Verder was het jammer dat je ' s avonds geen warm drinken meer kan bestellen. Dus een kopje thee of warme chocolademelk zat er niet in.
