Guest Reviews
- Goay keow (2/5): Madam Keow - The bed was so dirty
- Eva (6/5): Fine for the price, but staff couldn't care less - For the price, it was fine. I was surprised at how little the staff knew about the city, and how little they cared. They couldn't be bothered to google a bus schedule for me quickly, for example, and actually told me to go to the wrong bus station (I had a feeling I should double-check, and it's a good thing I did). The location was fine and the price was cheap.
- catherine (8/5): Wonderful. Will come back again - Excellent location as near to Times Berjaya Square and Bukit Tinggi for food and shopping. Safe for walking too.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quite decent
- Ben (2/5): - The entrance of the hotel looked so dodgy as though you were about to be robbed.
The room was very dirty and grungy. The blanket had not been washed as you can see stains underneath it. The bedsheets did not look washed. The pillows looked disgusting. There were stains on the walls. The floor panels were loose. The bathroom had mold all around and was very small.
Overall, I felt very unsafe staying at the hotel. I slept in between the towels because that was the only thing that felt remotely clean. I used my jacket as a pillow. I didn't even sleep well because the bed was quite uncomfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The conditions of the hotel which the pictures had show is totally different.
- novawaty (6/5): Overall ok.. - Overall its ok for budgeting hotel, bcoz it was in the centre area.
- Hussein (4/5): Cheap, affordable, budget room - Walked in, there was a lingering kind of moldy smell, the bed was comfy, toilet was clean, however the floor feels sticky. TV has only one viewable channel that airs Chinese dramas on and on. For the price that I paid, I certainly had no problems with what I got. I had a place to sleep, and that's good enough.
- HY (2/5): Very old hotel located at uppe floor of shoplot - Room got a smell and there is tobacco smoke leftover near window and didn't clean up...
- Yau (8/5): - So poor
- Jovan (2/5): Lousy hotel with best locations - This is the worst hotel that I experience in my life. The only best thing is location near to Times Square mall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The condition of the hotel is terrible.
The bed was dirty and it's noisy at the midnight when I took my rest.
- Verified traveler (2/5): The most terrible hotel victory 2 - I never stay for so terrible hotel. I totally taken 4 room, 2 room intermediate no water supply, 1 room no signal for TV, 1 room no hot water, air con liking water while night. Bad staff services given reason. No technician and all room full.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very small. Room had the 'dirty blanket' smell. Bathroom had no water and was changed room where heater wasn't working. Not so clean. And downstairs looked scary
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Low than what expected. The photos in web is not consistent with the real.
- Janice (2/5): The hotel is not clean - Not good.
- J (6/5): - Small and smelly need to renovate. Staff was helpful
- Kent (8/5): A place close to the city - The hotel room was a nice place to rest my head in, there were plenty of food spots all around. It was only a walking distance to malls and entertainment spots as well. The bed and room was comfortable enough for us. Sadly, the wifi wasn't working when we arrived so we all had to purchase data to spend the night through, other than that, the bathroom door wasn't properly aligned so we couldnt close the door properly and had to force it shut whenever we were bathing
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel not suit for lady .
Look a bit scare . If I not upgrade to family room . I not think I will continue stay .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Noisy, dirty, very old deco. Forget about it, don't choose this hotel.
- peachie (4/5): Just right for the price - The room is not sound proof. There were only 2 TV channels available. The entrance to the bldg and the stairs were terrible. the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very small rooms. Minimal facilities. - Booked 2 rooms. One had no windows. Both had no space for hanging clothes. No table to stand the kettle for making tea or coffee. Towels were to the point of ripping.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Suitable for short trip. - The counter service very good...but pls improve the room cleaniness.tq.
- guntarakorn (10/5): 7point from 10 - Must be have hot water machine
- Mark (8/5): Budget Price; Budget Stay - Given the price you paid for, you would not expect quality to be similar to that of what you can pay up to 10 times more.
Location is ideal for short stay; near to Berjaya Times Square and shopping areas.
- Paul Ann (6/5): - Brief but good and comfy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Moderate - It's budgeted hotel after all but it's located at the very core of the downtown center. It's a first time i was staying in this hotel and the receptionist was nice and friendly to upgrade the room to a deluxe room. That's a bonus. In addition, noticed they came to clean my room everyday.
- Ralphee (6/5): shock - too tired after exhibition. if there is no exhibition, I think it will be very hard to get some sleep
- Verified traveler (4/5): Basic & slightly grubby but good location - This is most definitely a budget hotel, one step up from a hostel. Has air-con, tv and ensuite shower for standard room but very little space. Not particularly clean or well maintained. Also has prices by the hour so you can imagine what use is made of that ;-)
- Verified traveler (2/5): poor - dirty, no soundproof at all, ants on floor
- phil. (8/5): needing a budget hotel in the centre. Easy access -
friendly staff. centre location. near all type of food stalls. room is clean . No table or chair. hard to eat any take away in room. Stay 3 nights only had room cleaned twice. Challenging to live in a long narrow room. Good wi fi,
good tv.
friendly staff
- Unknown (2/5): - The service there is horrible and they charged me even just a little thing.
- lenin (4/5): Hotel location it's ok near to town . - Just fine. Hotel was not great . Room are to small . Toilet even smaller . TV signal very bad . I was really not satisfied with the hotel facilities
- Sim (2/5): Terrible building - When you arrive there it doesn't seems an hotel. Is inside a crumbling building with other enterprises. The room and the toilet, eventhough the photos on the website didn't show you, were smaller that you can immagine, you have just the space for lying and there is no a window . From the website you can imagine a modern hotel...forget it at all!!!
- darren (6/5): good location, tiny room - This Hotel is ideally located, however the rooms are tiny and within very close proximity to one another, bed was all 'springs'!... staff were friendly however, and all amenities within the room worked well..... if you are on a tight budget I would recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): The location is the only redeeming quality - As an experienced budget traveler, I've stayed in some poor hotels before, but this one is a standout. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, hot water is a luxury, the front desk staff harasses guests for CASH deposits, some rooms are located around the block in a different building, elevator buttons are missing, the room is scarcely large enough for a bed, and the list goes on. The location is great, but the staff, building, and rooms leave much to be desired. Combine this with the fact that no one has ever heard of the hotel (i.e. cab drivers) and you've got yourself a headache upon arriving in KL. The sole redeeming factor is the location of the hotel, which is about a ten-minute walk from Bukit Bintang and several awesome malls.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for overnight stay - Hotel is very clean though the room is very small. The ac works very well but it will be better is the air is not coming straight to my head and face. Face and head was very cold whole night. Staff is very nice no matter in night shift or day shift. Will definitely come again and recommend to my friends is they don't care about room size and facilities. Over my expectation.
- happytraveller (8/5): excellent staff ,cheap and clean hotel. - Went to KL and booked this hotel because it was cheap and very close to the all hotspots in the city. When I arrived and saw the hotel from the outside I had second thoughts about the rooms , but the rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful .
If your visiting KL for a couple of days and want a cheap clean hotel then I highly recommend staying at at victory street hotel II.
- Anthony B (8/5): Small but neat and clean - True, the rooms are small, but for single travelers it shouldnt be a problem when you are trying to save a couple of bucks. There is a laundromat across the street, many restaurants including great hawker foods, and Times Square mall all within walking distance.
- Jack (6/5): - walking distance to KL Pavillion along Bt Bintang. Room is simple and good, but i stay 3rd floor water pressure is not good. I stay for 2 night there is no cleaning on room, and change towel.
- Jack (6/5): simple budget hotel near Bt Bintang - no free water provided, stay at 3rd floor water pressure not good enough, nvn help to clean the room after 1 day stay. Location is good, 5-10min walk to reach KL Pavillion.
- chris (8/5): in the centre - hotel was in the centre of things, food courts, shopping, infomation centres, trasport for free buses to the twin towers and the mono rail to the main railway station.
- Michelle (8/5): Pay a hostel's price to have a room to yourself! - This is a great hotel for a budget-minded traveler, but expect it to be what you paid for. For starters, the rooms are small and windowless, the bathroom is tiny, and there's no separator between the toilet and shower (which is common in Asia). The outlet was located in a weird location, which left my phone dangling mid-air while it charged. The walls are also pretty thin, so don't be surprised if you can hear some noise in the hallways from time to time. That said, I found it a great alternative to a hostel and actually liked how space efficient it was. The concierge spoke limited English, but was friendly. The water turned hot quickly, there's a TV, and it's in a good location (fairly close to Petrona Towers and all the shopping areas). I would certainly return again.
- Anthony (8/5): Small but adequate - Small boutique hotel with everything you need for a short stay in KL
- Verified traveler (2/5): Unliveable hotel - We couldn't stay at this hotel. It was unliveable. We did not stay instead stayed at another hotel. There was no window so air ventilation is horrible. Room was dirty. Bathroom was tiny. I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.
- ESR (2/5): This hotel is to be avoided - I went with my wife. I was shocked to see that there is absolutely no ventilation in this room. They packed bedroom and bathroom leaving no room to relax. We learnt the hard way. I would appreciate if Hotels.com cross-checks the amenities claimed by the hotel.
- Jazmond Goh (6/5): BIT NOISY - Reasonable price with good location . No sound proof and you be able to hear noise from the reception and bit noisy. Propose don't stay the same floor where the check in counter ( reception ) located.
- Bobby Sabarwal (2/5): Disappointing N Dreadful Hotel - My God had booked this hotel seeing the reviews and just checked in and checked out of the hotel within few minutes and did not bother to even ask my money for the full day paid in advance. The room size was like a prison. Think even prison would be a better place to stay. The room alloted to me was pegion hole size. Really surprising how the hotel has got such a good review.
- Mark and Leanne (8/5): Budget hotel in great location - Definitelt budget - though very close to town and public transport. Staff lovely and very happy to help.
- Will (6/5): Great Location + Helpfull Staff - It's a cheap hotel so you know what are you getting for the price. It ha pretty clean rooms and it has a great location, it's close from restaurants and malls so I recon it's good. There is a huge but if you like huge rooms you are not going to like since there are pretty small, confortable but small
