• Kristen (6/5): Convenient location but basic - If your goal is to be close to a metro station then this is a great option. However, if you have luggage, there is literally no room for it in these rooms. Nowhere to unpack, nowhere to put your suit cases, just a few hangers but no drawers or shelves or space. Also worth noting, this was the only hotel on my 4 city trip without a coffee maker in the room. The hotel is directly next to the metro station though which was quite handy and there are plenty of stores and restaurants close by.

• Alicia (10/5): - The rooms were clean and modern, and the hotel itself was the same! Luggage storage is available in the hotel as well which was helpful for me when my flight for in very early. The underground is right across the street from the hotel so it is very convenient to get anywhere in the city. Would absolutely stay here again!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Would stay there again. - Very clean, comfortable bed. Street noise minimal, but can hear the showers in adjacent rooms, which woke me up too early. Easy access to most tourist attractions by public transport. Train station next door has good selection of stores (drugstore, grocery, chocolate, clothes) and casual dining. Area not charming but I felt safe. One day there was a weird smell coming from the shower drain, it went away when I covered it with a damp towel. Nice room to relax in in the evenings. If there was a teakettle it would be almost perfect. Overall, considering everything, especially the reasonable price, I would stay there again.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappoiting long check - in - I booked a room for a friend with special notes which a front desk could not find at all, so the front desk needed my ID for this room reservation. I can't imagine what would happen to us if I didn't accompany my friend for check in! Why could't the hotel n the front desk take care of my notes well in advance?

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel but somehow budget hotel - The hotel room were nice and location quite convenient. Only negative point is that you have to pay and get a voucher before having breakfast. They don't seem to allow anything to go on your room bill which is a bit odd especially if you are with business colleagues. We ended having bills for the bars, for the breakfast, etc... Instead of all being centralised on your room bill. Apart from that, all ok.

• Annie (10/5): Excellent location with reasonable price - I took Westbahn train from Salzburg to Wien then leave Wien to airport, this hotel’s location is perfectly fit my need. Just adjacent to 2 metro lines and train, airport bus right at the entrance, plus a well-equipped shopping mall that can find all you need very conveniently. Dining areas nearby and supermarket around too. Travellers will need to bring their own amenities, as hotel only provide organic shampoo & body wash (2 in 1), plus hand wash and plastic cups only. It will be best if there has a mini-fridge in room, so that I can keep my cold drinks.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel for a reasonable price. - The room was immaculate and looked brand new. An extremely comfortable bed and quiet air conditioning. I would recommend the breakfast! Overall, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Great breakfest and the staff is very friendly and helpfull, I was able to get my room for early check in no problem. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and the bed and bathroom are very good! All on all a great experience highly recommended.

U need to call the hotel it’s ur mobile phone if u need any service. Room is a bit small, but clean. Location is excellent since it’s literally on top of the west train station.

• Mojca (10/5): A great experience! - It was great! A room was just big enough for a family of four with a stroller and a crib. It was also very quiet despite the location (we were facing main street and tram station and with the exception of ambulance we haven't heard a thing). Everyone was very nice and helpful, they helped us with paring directions and provided a crib for a little one. And a location is just amazing - few steps from u3 and u6, trams, trains, ... Inside train station is big food court, few shops with groceries and much more. And main shopping street is also just around the corner. We will definitely come back!

Breakfast provided a very good selection of food. We found the duvet overwhelmingly hot - but that would suit some people.
• Ali Ural (8/5): Advantages of staying at the heart of Vienna. - Location of the hotel is perfect. There is a underground station besides the hotel. By U3 , you can reach many important points of Vienna like Volksteatr, Stephansdom,etc. Motel-One is at the end of the famous shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse. If you like walking, you can be at the old city in half an hour.

We were on the fourth floor and were woken up at 8am on the Monday morning with drilling from the floor above. Reception told us there were offices above and they had been refurbishing for some time. Pity they did not tell us when we checked in, we would have asked for a room on a lower floor.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Motel One's are basic, not a lot of amenities, but I don't need amenities. Price was good. Large shopping area near Westbahnhof was very convenient, as was the mall in the station. Great spot for getting anywhere in Vienna fast.

The mall inside had a wide variety of stores including an excellent grocery store. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. • Marta (10/5): excellent location for Westbahnhof - I stayed in this hotel for 1 night only to catch an early train from Westbahnhof, the hotel is literally right next to the station, modern, very clean, no frills in the room, however everything you need for a short stay, very clean and new/well maintained, great fast wifi, nice lobby/bar area where you can relax with a really good coffee or a drink, breakfast was a good continental selection. The staff were all very professional, everything was dealt with in a smooth, efficient manner. For a short stopover it is a very good place to stay.

• Ian (10/5): Efficient,clean,modern,convenient Viennese hotel - I think that the Motel One chain is what you get if a seriously advanced computer mind designed a hotel. The service efficiency was outstanding. Check-out was greatly facilitated by being made to pay upon checkin. As there was no mini-bar to tempt you to add up your bill, all you had to do was drop off your key and leave! Wifi was quite decent. The location of the Motel One at Westbanhoff was outstanding. You literally walk of of the WestbanHoff front entrance and turn left! For the weary traveller, this is a godsend. And getting access to other parts of Vienna is a snap as the U-Bahnstation is literally right across the street. The neighborhood around the Wien Westbanhoff station is also very clean and not sketchy at all. If you want to stroll to the heart of many Viennese attractions vs. taking the train, the MariaHilferStrasse is steps away and walking down it will inject you right into the middle of the main musuem quarter of Vienna. The windows in my room mine faced a busy street but there must be soundproofing because once I closed the window, I barely heard anything. The room I reserved is probably one of their smaller ones but if you are a traveller staying only for a few nights, all you need is a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. If I am ever in Vienna again, I can guarantee you that I am staying at a Motel-One. Note: There was one night where the Wif-Fi gave out but it was after 2am and not super critical. It was back in fine condition by the morning.

• Daniel (6/5): privacy? - Motel one Westbahnhof in Vienna is a nice hotel, centrally located, clean and convenient. I stayed in room 5107 for one night on July 18, and enjoyed a quiet night and a nice breakfast. However, at 10 am the next morning the lady cleaning the rooms at the 5th floor entered my room without knocking at the door and in spite of the fact that the sign "please do not disturb!" was displayed on the outer side of the room door. She just wanted to know when I am leaving, telling me that the official checkout time is 12am. This intrusion to the room is unacceptable - but also unavoidable by the guests because the rooms cannot be safely locked.

• Kathryn (8/5): Perfect for exploring - I was staying as part of a short trop and it was perfect airport bus right outside, could get anywhere in vienna with a 24hr ticket for the tram and underground, and plenty of shops and food nearby especially in the train dtation and open quite late
• Sze Nok (10/5): Chic and modern hotel - We just take it because of its location RIGHT NEXT TO the west station but it comes to our surprise the hotel is very new and modern. I love their turquoise brand colour. Make everything just so stylish. Good nice budget hotel but will surprise you by their great quality.

Not much has changed, although I will remark that the Internet service was much spottier, and the breakfast areas tended to get overcrowded. Outside of that, a generally uneventful stay. The property is well situated for strategic access to regional and local transport.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Little comfort, breakfast of poor quality - If you have little luggage and want to have good transport connections, then this hotel is to recommend. Otherweise expect to find: no wardrobe (only 3 shelves), small room and small bathroom, ONE hard chair for 2 people, absolutely no possibility to make coffee/tea in the room, no locker, poor breakfast for € 9.50, long queue to check-in, staff not always friendly.

Room size is just enough for those not planning to spend much time in room. Location is excellent being adjacent to the rail station, and provides easy access to metro and tram. • Verified traveler (6/5): Budget hotel close to West bahnhof station_ - Good breakfast, friendly staff and good location. On the downside, WiFi problems in room and a shower that leaked onto bathroom floor, and the family room was a bit cramped. Not sure the aircon was very effective.
