• Krystyna (9/5): - Staff is very friendly, smiling and helpful. Breaffast was unusual with pesto, american pancases, sausages, fresh fruits, vegies as option. Complimentary wine, soda and stroopwaffles at the entrance. Room was small, but everything was in it including desk, coffee maker with cups, and three different kind of very good quality tea. This standard is not oftennoffered by 4star hotels and I appreciate this a lot. Elevator didn't work but I understand that these things are sometimes broken and requires time to fix so no problem at all. Staff took my heavy suitcase up till 1 floor with a smile.

• Ria (8/5): Really convenient, easy peasy stay. - It was in the very lovely area De Pijp with great restaurants all round. The tram system operated right outside for convenience. Comfy room perfect for a 3 night stay. We didn’t opt for the breakfast, but it looked really enticing! Extra coffee pods for the room were in abundance and free to ask. The night staff kept the receptions rooms dark during the early hours of the evening, making it uncomfortable to have a night time coffee or glass of wine before bed.

• Stenclava (10/5): - The staff was extremely nice, very helpful and friendly! The elevator wasn’t working and as a compensation for that the hotel offered free snacks and drinks for the guests. The beds were super soft and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a while.

• Wilson (3/5): Save your money, book another hotel! - It was a central location. The man at the front desk was nice and welcoming. POOR facilities! The shower was COLD. The elevator didn't work, there was a piece on the ground that was loose and broken off, so we tripped quite a few times. The toilet kept leaking. The front desk lady was quite chaotic, poor hospitality. The birthday arrangement I requested was cute but hella expensive for what we received. The phone in the room didn't work. No Netflix on TV. We only stayed for 1 night, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are staying longer.

• Michele (8/5): Good value. Clean and efficient rooms. - The staff was so friendly and helpful. They offer a free mini bar in the lobby with soft drink, beer and wine. This was perfect because our check in was delayed due to water issues. There are quite a few stairs to navigate since their lift is broken but the staff helped with our luggage. It will be excellent when the elevator is fixed and the construction is done.

O café da manhã era maravilhoso, realmente muito bom. Quando chegamos, fomos recebidos com duas cervejas geladas, uma delícia! O hotel tem um bar com vinho, cerveja, água, refrigerante e uns snacks que ficam à disposição para consumo dos hóspedes, foi maravilhoso isso! A localização é ótima, nós fizemos tudo a pé. Até o centro de Amsterdam dá uns 20 minutinhos andando, uma caminhada agradável. (Vou por foto do bar, rs, não tenho do quarto) Nós ficamos hospedados no quarto andar e o hotel não tem elevador. Às vezes andávamos 12km, 15km ao longo do dia, era bem cansativo subir 4 andares. Mas tinham quartos no 1 andar, ou segundo, a Jô que fica tudo bem. E, se isso não for uma questão pra você, o hotel é perfeito. Recomendo demais!

The elevator was out of order and we were not informed in advance, even though the hotel has four floors with steep stairs, which could be very difficult for someone with mobility issues. When we arrived, we were told that the room was ready, however there were still workers inside installing a new TV. They did not clean up afterwards, leaving dust and screws in the room. Additionally, housekeeping was only provided upon request, but we were not informed about this. If we hadn’t asked, the room would not have been cleaned and fresh towels would not have been provided. Overall, it was not worth the money at all.

Staff were fantastic & so helpful. Nothing was a problem. Just a great way to start our adventure. Just bad timing for us, but no lift. Staff carried bags up steep tight stairs, which again was a huge +. Lift being worked on or installed, so will be sorted. In process of upgrading rooms, so a bit of noise & workers, but all happy & gone by 1530.

Nous avons été réveillé plusieurs fois par le bruit à l’extérieur de l’hôtel mais aussi par des bruits venant des couloirs (probablement un employé qui débarrassait les déchets en verre des bouteilles à disposition des clients dans le hall)

• Tom (5/5): Matige prijs-kwaliteit verhouding - Goede ligging (goede verbinding met openbaar vervoer). Vriendelijk personeel. Fijn bed. Handdoeken vies, geen wifibereik wanneer ik mijn laptop op het bureautje zette, koude douche in de ochtend (alleen 2e dag overigens). Overigens zei het personeel wat te doen met mijn klachten over de wifi en de douche. Ik ben benieuwd wanneer dat gedaan wordt. Ik had meer verwacht voor bijna 200 euro per nacht.

Stock und der Fahrstuhl funktionierte nicht- wurden aber darauf hingewiesen- war unsere Entscheidung frisch renoviert im 4. Stock oder noch nicht renoviert im 1. Stock. Das Personal hat uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen, war auch sehr hilfsbereit bei Wünschen. Hat alles super geklappt- auch das Frühstück sehr lecker! Die Lage war doch recht weit außerhalb zu Fuß- die Bahn aber um die Ecke. In der Nähe tolle Restaurants!

• Eleonora (7/5): Our stay was fine, but unlucky during refurbishment - The room where we moved was new (freshly refurbished, you could smell a little bit of paint still). The room was very clean and everything was working properly. Free coffe and tea: a plus. It was quiet, so we could sleep properly. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and breakfast was delicious and with many freshly baked options. Unexpected nice surprise: free drinks (both alcohol free but also wine and beer) in the hall, close to reception! Last but not least: the city center was easy to reach in just about 10-15 min by tram We were unlucky with the first room we got: the floor of the shower was damaged (sort of breaking ). The good thing is that, even if it was evening when we got back and I noticed the damage while having the first shower, the receptionist helped us very quickly to move to another available room. We were not aware that the hotel was being refurbished but luckily we were spending the full day outside, so we were not annoyed by the noise. If we did not have this unexpected issue in the 1st room where we checked-in, I would have given a higher rating to the room and the hotel overall.

Gratis drikkevarer i resepsjonen og en hyggelig balkong fra rommet vårt mot bakgården. Ujevn varmtvann i dusjen, rommene trenger litt oppussing og lunsjen var helt middelmådig. A trebuit să urcăm 4 etaje pt camera noastră cu bagajele pe o scara ireal de îngustă și care era în spirală. Camera foarte mică, fara niciun spatiu unde să îți pui o haină. Era doar un cuier langa pat unde ne puneam prosoapele de la baie pt că în baie nu exista niciun loc pt ele. Camera foarte mică pt 2 oameni și veche, deși ne-au spus că stăm în camerele noi renovate. The room was small-ish and it had NO closet. We never got WiFi in our room throughout our stay and even though the staff told us they fixed it the first day, it wasn't fixed.

Komfortable senger. Ikke lytt mellom rommene(men lytt gjennom døren ut til gangen). Helt stille utenfor vinduet til rommet, føltes ikke ut som om vi var midt i byen i det hele tatt. (hadde vindu mot bakgården) Nyoppusset og stilig interiør. Lite knagger på rommet og badet, men det er nok på grunn av at det er nyoppusset.

De bjöd på vin å öl när man kom. Hotellet låg nära till spårvagn, lugnt område. Restauranger i närhet. I Svårt smal lång trappa upp till vån in gen, de höll just på att installera o bygga hiss. Mycket oväsen. Rummet städades inte varje dag eller byte av handdukar vi bodde 4 dagar. Saknar papperskorg på rummen. Badrummet lukta mögel.

Kambarys nors ir labai mažas,ir su vaizdu į vidinį kiemą-mums tai nesukėlė jokių nepatogumų.Jeigu kada grįšime,tai tikrai drąsiai vėl į šį jaukų viešbutį. Nebuvo kas nepatiko.

• Barbara (5/5): - Brak informacji odnośnie trwającego remontu- niedziałająca winda, ciasna wąska klatka schodowa i konieczność dostania się na 4 piętro po każdym wyjściu z hotelu Przy meldowaniu otrzymaliśmy kartę dostępu do pokoju- po dostaniu się SCHODAMI na 4 piętro okazało się, że recepcjonistka wydała nam kartę, mimo że pokój można było otworzyć jedynie za pomocą KLUCZYKA Niedziałająca słuchawka w prysznicu, możliwość korzystania jedynie z sufitowego natrysku. Po zgłoszeniu usterki otrzymałam jedynie odpowiedź, że w niedzielę nie ma możliwości naprawy- dodam że w poniedziałek rano się wymeldowywaliśmy.
• Barbara (10/5): Tudo perfeito. Adoramos! - O hotel é maravilhoso. Nos sentimos em casa. Todos os funcionários são excelentes, foram muito prestativos e atenciosos. A localização é ótima, trem praticamente na frente do hotel e centro a poucos minutos. Café, refrigerantes, vinho e petiscos/lanchinhos sempre disponíveis na recepção do hotel. Voltaria com certeza! O hotel estava em reformas quando chegamos, então não pudemos usar a sacada para sentar e tomar nosso chimarrão (risos). Mas a instalação de elevadores vai facilitar em muito a estadia.

• Nina (5/5): Ich denke, es gibt bessere Hotels zu diesem Preis. - Das Frühstück, das Familienzimner und der Mitarbeiter, welcher sich um Das Frühstücksbuffett gekümmert hat. Das Hotel wurde renoviert. Als wir um 12:00 Uhr ankamen, war ohrenbetäubender Lärm. Der Fahrstuhl war nicht nutzbar, das Personal am Empfang war grösstenteils eher unfreundlich.

We asked on the booking.com chat for our rooms to be cleaned and this was missed Slug in 1 room flies and a smell of drains in another Extremely steep stairs to the first floor and no assistance given with heavy luggage Other customers smoking cigarettes and nothing was done
• Jonas (6/5): Single room review - Bed was comfortable and aircon worked well. TV didn't work in room, Wifi also didn't work in room only in reception. As a single room it was small and expensive for what you got I wouldn't come back. They are undergoing renovations so you should be aware no lift working and scaffolding outside front of building.
• Caroline (1/5): Niet mogelijk - - Er was een renovatie gaande aan het hotel. Dit was op voorhand niet gecommuniceerd. In het hotel was sprake van veel overlast (boren, lift niet werkzaam, onderhoud aan verschillende kamers/entree etc.). Dit was geen wenselijke situatie voor het verblijf binnen een hotel in Amsterdam.
• Reija (1/5): Hotellin hinta ihan liian korkea tasoon nähden. - Aamiainen oli ihan ok. Sijainti oli hyvä. Hotelli oli remontissa mistä ei ollut mainintaa varatessa. Hissi oli remontin takia pois käytöstä ja portaat olivat vaarallisen jyrkät ja kapeat. Yksi asiakas oli jo pudonnut ja kaatunut portaissa. Henkilökunta oli ammattitaidotonta (paitsi kokki joka teki aamupalan). Huoneet olivat todella vanhanaikaiset ja sotkuiset, huonot sängyt, Todella huono äänieristys.

Café da manhã não é tão variável, mas é uma delícia e super reforçado. Localização maravilhosa, perto de 2 estações de trem. Ao lado da feira Albert Cuyp Nada a declarar
