- Francesco (7/5): - Ottima posizione, struttura pulita.

- Robert (4/5): Great location but very basic and tired - Fantastic location Bathroom facilities were poor
- Antonia (8/5): -

- Tommaso (8/5): - Zona spettacolare, attaccata al Pantheon.
Letto comodo, stanza accogliente e originale.
Self check-in molto comodo e semplice. Netflix assente.
Doccia e lavandino intasati.

- Annaluna (10/5): - Location was great!!!!!! Bathroom was a bit moldy , no exhaust fans .
- Federica (5/5): - Posizione centralissima.
- David (6/5): - Jacuzzi bath Having a shower was a mission
- Fabio (7/5): -
- Monika (2/5): -
- Eric (9/5): It was great - Centrally located Nothing
- john (2/5): - STEER CLEAR!!!! Upon arriving, I found a filthy dirty bathroom without the svcs Expedia mentioned on their site, no desk, no private check in, 1 bottle of water in the minibar, a dirty toilet and sink and no free breakfast.
Management did zero to help mollify the situation.
The hotel was more like a dirty youth hostel. A very bad customer experience that was misrepresented by both RELAIS and EXPEDIA.
- Trevor (2/5): - Very difficult to check in
- Erin (4/5): - This stay was problematic and please contact us for some refund of our payment. The room had mice coming from under the door from the hallway. Also we were promised breakfast I. The advertising and even asked in the instructions for the room to complete breakfast selection but the rude lady at the desk first day said no breakfast is offered.
- Klaudia (7/5): -
- Justine (7/5): - We loved the location! The room was cute and loved the decor. The AC didn’t work too well, but we managed. The AC didn’t work too well.

Tutto perfetto
- Carlos (2/5): - Don’t go to this place. This is not a hotel, is a set of rooms for rent whoI had a long flight and arrived very tired.
- ALESSANDRO (8/5): -
- Rebeccah (10/5): - Really fun location!
One block from pantheon.
Awesome staff.
Well worth the price!
- Sean (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Ligging is top.
- Gerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (8/5): Comfortable b&b in a convenient location and good value for money - Welcome when we got there was very friendly and provided useful info with a map of all the key places to visit and room was prepared earlier than we expected. The hotel is right in the middle of the action near some great restaurants and the Pantheon and within walking distance of a lot of the main attractions. A continental Breakfast was served to the room each morning and offered, toast, croissants, cereal, yoghurts, toaatie, tea or coffee and fruit juices The shower took ages to get warm, had to run it for over ten mins each morning for hot water to come out.
- Deanosh1 (2/5): Steer well clear of this place - Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently, we were allocated the posiden room.
Positives - location is great literally a 1 min walk to the Pantheon
Negatives - Reception closes at 1.pm, you are given phone numbers to ring if you need them, sadly they don’t answer or return calls, and were dismissive when asked about this
One day we literally had no towels in the room, therefore we couldn’t shower, which was a blessing really as we didn’t have any hot or even luke warm water. The shower itself was slow running water as well.
The room itself is tired and needs throughly washing down, repainting. There was mould around the sink, the floor in the bathroom was chipped and the bathroom door had been sprained so didn’t close properly. The walls are also very very thin !!
Overall the only thing good about this property was the location. Steer clear of it there are better hotels around this area which are also in the same price range.
Don’t be fooled in booking when seeing the pictures, this was the worst place I have stayed in for years!

- Shoko (8/5): It was great location and enjoyable stay. - The best location. It was the central of most of attractions! We enjoyed it. The hotel located by less than a minute from the Pantheon and I this it was the party city area. There were a lot of restaurants and bars on the ground floor and people were partying all night. It might disturb your sleep because of the noise.
- Gary (5/5): Great location but overall not good value for money. - The location was very central and a great base for exploring Rome. The maid was very pleasant and the breakfast delivered to our room was much appreciated. Room cleaned each day and fresh linens and towels provided. Bed comfortable and good size. Room overlooked a noisy street full of restaurants but the double glazing provided good sound proofing. Room quality did not meet the "luxury" in the residence title! Bathroom door did not close properly; the drains were smelly and the water did not drain resulting in lots of established mould around shower and sink. Room dated and in need of repairs. Maintenance issues reported to management on first day but little action taken. Accommodation photos online are deceptive - the Poseidon room which we had was very small but the photos appear much larger.
- Lee (7/5): Good - good location no batteries in the t.v remote, cant rearlly have a shower in venus room, coffee is cold in the morning
- Liubov (8/5): We liked the hotel, and probably will stay once again - Location of the hotel is just perfect, if you want to see all Rome in few days this hotel will be perfect for you. We skipped one breakfast because they did not say that you need to fill the form every day. All rest no issues, we are happy with our choice)
- Reece (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nadia (7/5): Good - The body lotion is very smelly, it needs to be changed urgently! :)
- Anthony (6/5): clean and very central location but not worth - comfy bed, excellent location kettle was faulty, difficult to find the property. I was expecting a hotel but this property seemed to be just 4 rooms?
- Leanne (9/5): the bathroom could have been cleaner and this feels more like an apartment than a hotel but for the price and location i - Location, Location, Location!!! breakfast service was prompt and had a great selection. staff were friendly and the overall experience was good.
- Cat (2/5): - If I could give a property under a 1* thos would be it! The property never communication to us. Its pitched itself as a boutique hotel - on entering we found a stack of garbage cans lined up, then we took a set of stairs, entered a code and there was no lobby but a desk type thing.
On the first night we both attempted to take showers, my husband is 6'3
Im 5'6, the protuding lighting over the tub ( there is no shower, only a shower attachment with 2 sides of plexiglass) kept bumping into us. Eventually I perched on the corner of said tub and used the shower attachment. The lights flicked on and off through the night even though we switched them off.
When I went to charge my phone, the exposed wiring scared me so much that I just left it. I instantly contacted Expedia who pretended it was nothing to do with them. I asked for the ££££ back so we could get a new hotel and after Expedia themselves could not contact anyone and sent an email we were told the 'hotel' would not refund the money.
This property is a complete scam!
- Nicolae (9/5): Superb -
- Evan (10/5): - Never have I booked a place so centrally located to so many different attractions! The Vatican was the only one we didn’t walk to, cost 15 euro by taxi.
Walk out the entry door and you are in the midst of restaurants and shops in all directions.
As far as the room, the bed was super comfy and had nice pillows.
The one big downside to this room which they labeled as “VENUS” , frankly I am surprised I didn’t notice when shopping around was, there is no traditional shower.
Just a big soaking tub, which to be fair has a hand held shower head that extends out from the ledge BUT, it makes showering very inconvenient. Also makes a mess as water splashes all over the place. Above the tub are 8 long rods with LED lights on them, in theory it’s pretty cool, but trying to stand under them to shower becomes a hazard as they do not very that much so they limit the space you have to stand in the tub.
If a traditional shower is not a priority to you, then this place is great!
Unfortunately for my girlfriend and I, we would rather have one, so I personally would not rebook this room for us.
- Kristen (10/5): Exceptional - Best location in Roma!! Loved everything! Will be back 100%!
- philip (8/5): - Was a solid place to stay great local my favorite restaurant right outside front door
- Magdy (7/5): was ok overall - in the middle of the old city. a walking distance to many attractions room was too tight and we had to carry the luggage because no elevator or anyone to help after hours
- Magdy (8/5): Very good -
- Soojong (10/5): Nice place - Bath and loacation are good
- aminb933 (4/5): Hospitality is not only about the money - I worked in hospitality for many years and one important aspect of the business is to show flexibility and compassion to guests in exceptional circumstances. I travelled with my wife and two kids (10 and 4). Our airlines company changed our flight from 6 am to 7 pm (night flight for 6 hours). I asked the hotel if they can cancel the last night (48 hours notice) in order for us to catch an earlier flight or at least allow us to stay in the room until 3-4 pm if we keep the same night flight. Hotel refused both requests and asked us to pay 190 euros for staying in a smaller room for few hours after check out time. Of course they are not obliged to help contractually but i kept thinking what would happen to a family with kids if they dont have the money to manage the situation …
- Roxanne (7/5): Good - Lighting in the room and bathroom
- Ravi (8/5): Very good -
- coreyn459 (4/5): Avoid - Photos and Star Rating are Misleading - We spent one night in the Pantheon Relais and it was one night too many. Despite a staff that tried to be helpful when they were around, there were many things that we disliked about the property.
The Good
Breakfast is delivered to your room because there is no communal space to speak of in the hotel. We ordered croissants and cappuccinos, and both were first rate.
The Good/Bad
The location was both good and bad. Good because it was right near the Pantheon (maybe 40 meters away) on a street with lots of restaurants. Unfortunately, the street noise was carried up to our room making it difficult to sleep at night. Also, the street was not accessible by car, which meant that you had to walk with luggage to/from the hotel, albeit not far.
The staff was also both good and bad. The hotel is not staffed full-time, but they tried to be helpful, despite struggling with English.
The Bad
The property was quirky and dingy. The air conditioning couldn't cool the room, the front door of the hotel didn't lock and there was no staff to ensure safety, the windows didn't block street noise, the shower was uncomfortably small, pillows/shampoo/toilet paper were awful, etc.
I looked up requirements for a five-star hotel in Italy and among the requirements: receptionists who can speak at least three languages and reception should be open 24 hours a day. The main receptionist struggled with English and used her phone to communicate. Moreover, the reception desk was not staffed 24 hours a day.
Anyone ovr 30 should really not stay at a property like this. It's relatively inexpensive for a reason.
- Sullivan (5/5): It was ok - Location Bathroom door did not close and no iron available because it was a fire hazard. The statement about a fire hazard did not make me feel safe
- Chakarova (8/5): Great stay - Amazing location as you can walk to all of the major attractions. The Panthelon was literally around the corner.
The size of the room was perfect for 2 people / a cpl.
Bed was very comfortable, and everything that you may need was provided. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend adding the breakfast for convenience. Was served at the requested time to your room, and the menu provided a balanced selection.
Really didn't think that as a guest house, that cleaning service was provided but the room was cleaned every day.
There was fresh water available (water 'fountain') just adjacent to the entrance, which was super convenient.
As there was a heat wave during our stay, the air-conditioning was super needed and made our room temperature comfortable.
The pop-up restaurants were crazy. The view in the pictures tell all It would've been nice to have a shower separate from the tub but not a deal breaker. It was just awkward with the funky lighting fixture hanging so low over the tub.
Although it really doesn't affect your stay and it's just a personal observation, the 'artwork' in the room doesn't suit it at all and just looks off.
- Stephen (7/5): It was ok - Was initially very disappointed with the room, however by the time our week was over and with the excellent location of the place we agreed that whilst the decor was definitely not to our taste we'd been comfortable enough in a perfect location and probably would stay again Decor and lighting, having only a glass screen separating bathroom from bedroom
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Great location. You can walk to any of the must sees In Rome. It really is more of an AirBnB experience than a hotel experience.
- Emma (6/5): Nice place, but strange shower! - The room is Nice! Location is super very good, walking distance to everything! Bathtub/shower situation is weird. Bathtub in the middle of the room. No other place to shower. You could not stand up and shower as the strange lamp was located right above your head and poked you in the head!
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Nice place, decent breakfast. Excellent location. No complaints Nothing
- Kirilova (7/5): Good -
- Pergel (4/5): Don’t say here! Find somewhere better, there’s loads of hotels / bed & breakfast in the same area. - The location was the reason why we give this place some sort of rating. It’s a few steps away from the pantheon, a few minutes away from the trevi fountain with lots of nice restaurants just steps away. This however was unfortunately the only thing we liked about the property. The room really needs upgrading. It’s mouldy and smells really damp.. lighting in the room is terrible, lots of things broken / holding on for their dear life.. I.e mirror / shower gel holder. the bathroom door has no lock and doesn’t close properly, so bare this in mind cause you’ll have to use the toilet with the person you’re with hearing everything. Also, from the bed they can see into the bathroom, right onto the toilet!!
We were in “GEA” which is right by reception so not only was the street busy and noisy, but also, we could hear everyone (staff and other people) every time they were talking / walking through. It’s like our door wasn’t even closed.
The walls are also paper thin.. if the people next door to us sneezed / coughed / spoke we could hear everything.
Now onto the Breakfast… FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
We ordered breakfast the night before on all nights, however when getting the “pastry basket” you get ONE croissant, a tiny glass of juice and that’s it. I would recommend ordering multiple items although then they select what they give you, so perhaps it’s better to just go out to get breakfast. My partner also has a nut allergy and even though we told them, they still bought Nutella filled croissants.
Staff…
We got there just after 12pm and our room was not ready despite check in being from 11am. The 1st thing the receptionist told us was about people stealing etc yet we still had to leave our stuff there for 20minutes and there was no luggage room.
Staff spoke minimal to no English so had to “communicate” through Google translate. Do have to say though, they tried there best and the man who checked us in once our room was ready was nice.
Overall, we would NOT stay here again. Really disappointed and is most definitely NOT “luxury”. The only reason why this isn’t a 1 rating is genuinely because of the location.
- Spyros (9/5): Superb - The locations was great every major sights were within a few minutes walk away if I came back to Rome I’ll sure stay again
Very safe neighborhood
- Lisa (8/5): Perfect place to sleep whilst exploring Rome. - The location was excellent, the check-in very easy, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the windows kept out the noise and the breakfast was nice. The a/c was a bit erratic so we opened the window instead!
- Ashleigh (7/5): Location perfect! - Location is amazing, room was spacious and sound proof. The staff didnt speak English and the room could do with some TLC and thoroughly cleaning
- Michael (7/5): Great location and comfortable stay - Great location for Rome, right in the middle of everything and within walking distance of all attractions. Friendly and informative staff.
- John (9/5): Great location, quirky decor and excellent service for communication and breakfast. - Quirky but lovely big bed and unusual decor. Fantastic location. Not much, a minor issue with sink not draining away but it’s fixed immediately.
- Katarzyna (8/5): One of the best location in Rome we've ever been - The location was perfect. A few steps to the Pantheon. Plenty of great restaurants just outside the front door. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was very small but pleasant with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom door was damaged and did not close, someone should take care of it. Poor lighting in the bedroom. Paper-thin walls, we could hear our neighbour.
- Estava (9/5): We had a lovely time and will probably book again next year. - The location is excellent. Missing bath robes was disappointing and also no shower.
- Sm (4/5): It was only close to the Panteon and that s all. - The hotel was close to the all centers and bus stops to Roma termini. That was not hotel, in fact. It was like an airbnb home. As I meet hotel at 8 pm, there was a locked door with a pasword code to enter. I found a paper with a note on the desk. It was not nice. It was not my choosen hotel that I found through filters on booking. com. wi-fi in the hotel was not usable neither in the room nor at the reception desk. There was no breakfast servic for the last day. The breakfast served other days was underqualified
- Klaus (10/5): If you want location, then this is the best. - Lots to like, but location wins hands down. Walking distance to so many many many attractions.
Wide variety of restaurants.
Room was very comfortable.
In room breakfast was excellent. Nothing to dislike.
- Firna (7/5): The hosts were very friendly and overall great stay. - The location is great, walking distance to most attractions and restaurants right downstairs. Despite booking.com stated children under 12 stays free, we were charged EUR 30/night for a cot that was actually extremely uncomfortable futon which even to sit on it you feel the springs poking.
- John (8/5): did us really well. - nice and quirky in a positive way. can’t think of anything
- Rouba (10/5): Everything was perfect! - Perfect! Highly recommended Maybe the room needs more light
- Jane (5/5): Staff were very helpful and friendly - Location Unusual coloured lighting in room
- Sara (5/5): Passable - The Pantheon Relais was in a great location. The room was large. We liked the bidet in the bathroom. There is new ownership, so they are working out the kinks. The bathroom lighting was lacking in the shower. The shower stall was narrow, and the shower head needed fixing as it sprayed all over, leaking onto the bathroom floor. The hotel was on the 2nd floor with no elevator and no one to help with luggage. After walking around Rome all day, it was hard to walk upstairs to freshen up and go out to eat again.
- Bianco (6/5): Pleasant -
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional - Great room and very convenient central location in the heart of Rome.
- S978SYkarenh (10/5): Everything was great. - Everthing was excellent, great location and great service. We enjoyed a lot our stay.
Great comunication with the recepcionist, we had to leave the room before 7 am and they gave us breakfast early which was great
- Josephine (8/5): nice location, walking distance to Pantheon - the location need more lights
- Vincent (9/5): Superb -
- Oramon (8/5): Very good - Very central and next to the pantheon. Room is clean and spacious. No lift
- LIMom2016 (10/5): Great location and friendly, helpful staff - This location cannot be beat. The hotel is a few steps away from the Pantheon. Important to note that taxis cannot drive right up to it and there are stairs with no lift if you have heavy bags. But the staff are so helpful and the room was very clean and quirky, cute. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served on a tray at a time of your choice to your room which worked great for us!
- Gavin john alan (8/5): - The location is first class . 100 yds to pantheon , 5 min walk to trevi fountain 15 min to Spanish steps . Taxi to Vatican around 10 euros and Same to Colleseum. Great restaurants all around so really close to most landmarks.
- Zachary (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Unclean..false advertising
- Beverly (2/5): Needs improvement not a 5 star or 4 as it shows on sites - Location Can’t get close in car so luggage carried down the street, No personal service, carry bags up stairs to push in a code and see a packet on desk for you. Room with round bed, dollar signs and lips on the wall.
Room needs to be painted and cleaned better. I left a day early
