• Agustin (8/5): Muy buena opción para hacer base. - Muy lindo Hotel estrilo colonial ubicado en una zona con vistas a todo Cafayate. Muy linda opción si lo que buscan es estar alejados del ruido y rodeados de vistas hermosas. Si bien está cerca, llegar es un poco tedioso por los caminos desgastados que presenta la geografía.

• Bidart (10/5): - La atención fue excelente, la limpieza, la habitación es grandisima, tuvimos la compañia de Mullulo que durmió con nosotros y nos hizo extrañar menos a nuestro gatuno. Volveríamos sin duda. El desayuno excelente. Y las vistas muy buenas. Nada, fue totalmente todo positivo.

Don’t be fooled by the comments about a “hard and complicated road.” We had a small car and it was perfectly fine. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for everything!

La limitacion del lugar es su ubicacion. El camino es un poco bravo y, por ejemplo, se necesita preveer qué cenar de antemano. El desayuno está ok pero podria estar un poco mejor

Luego de una larga discucion con un empleado logre que me cobraran lo que estipulaba la reserva en booking. Mal momento pero se resolvio. Habitacion sin TV. Desayuno modesto.

• Ben (10/5): Nice hotel with beautiful views - Beautiful views, very relaxing, and friendly hosts. The room was very spacious. Watching sunrise over the valley was special. Breakfast was basic and good. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and well maintained. The road to the hotel was fine, we did not have a 4x4 and were OK. However, it is a little far from downtown and would not recommend walking because of the distance.

• Bastien (9/5): Very spacious room in a lovely area - The room was very spacious, the bed was confortable, and the bathroom was great. The breakfast buffet was also good. I didn't had the opportunity to use the swimming pool or the deck-chairs but it seems to be a great location to have some relaxing time. Even if the hotel is only accessible with a sand path, multiple signs show the direction to take (however, don't try to get there with a sport car!) Given the remoteness of the hotel, it could be nice to have access to a fridge/freezer to buy some pizzas, sandwich, empanadas etc. (and have access to the necessary oven/microwave), this could help people who arrived late or didn't plan a diner

• Donatienne (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing hotel with the most beautiful view on the mountains. The staff is super welcoming, the garden, the pool and the rooms are really nice. Because it’s a bit remote from the city, it is very quiet at night. If you’re looking for a place to relax during your trip, that’s the place to stay at!
• Nina (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel has probably the best views in Cafayate. Many comfortable seating areas inside and outside. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Don’t let the fact that you can only reach the hotel via an unpaved road scare you. We had a small 2x4 car and it was perfectly doable.

• Xavier (10/5): Very nice place to get some rest and to enjoy this wineyard area - Very nice place, large room, very convenient breakfast. The signs, visible night and day, are very good to show the way from the main road to the hotel. People is also providing very nice recommandations in the area. Highly recommended. Entrance of the parking lot could be difficult for large cars.

• Aoife (8/5): Great stay in a beautiful location - We booked Hotel Texas last minute and were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. The room was lovely and suited our needs. The pool was great and the staff were friendly. Beautiful views and very quiet. The breakfast could have been better. Quite basic 'continental' breakfast but made sense as the price was not overly expensive for the night so the breakfast was a bonus for us before a day of travel.

• Keith (7/5): Arrive after dinner and probably leave before breakfast - The bed was comfortable, the room was large, the place was very quiet (due to its remoteness). The views are nice. We expected more for 100USD Like a number of businesses we have dealt with as foreigners in Argentina they added 10% to the price for credit or debit card payment. They emailed us before we arrived (but too late for us) to say they had no card facilities which wasnt true. So don't believe Booking.Com if they say you can pay by card on arrival and that the price includes all charges: not true. As others point out the place is hard to find and involves 2.5 ks of sandy and rocky road from a specific unsignposted point on the highway. Google Maps had what looked like alternative routes but these involved driving through rivers/creeks. And you need to bring your own food and drink as the only food available is breakfast and possibly a bottle of beer. Still no cereal bowls.
