Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location of this property is fantastic and the rooms are wonderfully colourful and thoughtfully decorated
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The toilet was very small and a bit difficult to use but we loved the room decor and the shower was great.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - DON`T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!
This place is an absolute dump. We booked 3 nights and got into our room and it was filthy. The sheets on the bed were ripped and torn up. There was 1 inch of dirt caked in the bottom corners of each wall. The air was musty and room is tiny so we ended up having to book another 3 nights at another hotel.
The hotel did not refund us and refused to look at the problems we were talking about. I HIGHLY recommend not booking at this hotel. You will be thoroughly disappointed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff, good location. Loved the themed rooms. Could do with a bigger lift!
Would definitely go again.
- Z (2/5): - Very bad smell , never been in a hotel smells that bad and if you try to change your room , they have no room ...i don’t like to give bad feedback however this hotel is really bad
- David (10/5): Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour - Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Nicely situated in a quiet street in Montmartre. Plenty of nice cafes and bistro's nearby.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Around the corner to the Cathedral and a great location in Montmartre....
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very small , can hardly move with ease .Does not align itself to a four star as advertised, Just ONE star .Area very run down and Breakfast very very poor.A very POOR HOTEL .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel like we were home. They were quick to help us with anything we needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is lovely boutique style hotel with friendly staff and clean room facilities.
- shaun (10/5): Nice place, friendly staff and great location - Nice place and friendly staff. Very handy for the Sacre Coeur and with some lovely restaurants on the road behind. Funky rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved the decor and setup but room was just too small.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely staff and great location for Montemartre and many bistros and bars nearby, quirky room with backlit wall
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The guest service was absolutely EXCELLENT. They made us feel welcome as if the hotel was our home. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures (larger than the regular size of European rooms). Breakfast was good. The lift is a little bit small (two or three people -at most- can go up and down at the same time). Me and my family would definitely stay again at Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour! Location couldn´t be better too, a few minutes walking from Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The theme rooms are interesting and the love elixir added to the experience
- donna (6/5): - had to sleep with window open unable to cool room off. otherwise small but comfortable on a hill steep walk to bascillica
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved that this hotel is in a neighborhood where you can be immersed in the French culture.
The hotel staff was amazingly friendly and helpful even with all the questions I had on where and how to get places.
My room was excellent, clean and had a window that overlooked the street and cafes. Loved it!!
Breakfast was great and served every morning so you can get an early start to your day if you want.
I just wanted to relax and stroll around the area which I'd been dying to see in person for so long.
Raina and Yan were very patient and extremely friendly. I could not have had a great vacation in Montmartre without them!
I will be coming back as soon as I can.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The themed rooms are a nice touch, thinking of coming back to try out the other ones!
Staff are very friendly and helpful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location was perfect, rooms were clean and charming and the staff were very kind and accommodating. We will
Definitely stay here again.
- Timothy (8/5): Value, style and location - Great location, a real gem in a busy city. A few minutes walk to the metro. Lots of classy restaurants on the hill with a view of the city. The hotel Is well priced with fairly modern rooms and helpful friendly staff. Breakfast is low key with a good variety of choices from bacon, sausage and scrambled egg to cereal, fruit, pancakes & waffles, a selection of cold meats and cheese, yogurt, coffee and fruit juices.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff was excellent, room was a bit small and cramped. Dangerous location at night walking from metro.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never Again - Absolutely horrid staff. Rude, tried to scam me out of more money. I'd rather sleep on the street
- Sallyann (10/5): - The hotel was lovely and the bed was comfy, although in the photos advertising the room it is portrayed as much newer and larger. This wasn't the case but I loved it there and would go back.
- Sandra (8/5): Superior Room - Positives - staff are excellent; beds are good; waterpressure excellent; bathroom very clean (not toilet). Things to consider - in the 18th arr which is up a hill; toilet space was small; so was shower. Classic room really suits a single person or a couple with minimal luggage. Superior room is a better size if you have mid size or larger suitcases.
- Gary (8/5): - This hotel is a great place for a romantic getaway, the decor is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bit disappointed with no kettle or iron in our room but coffees free from the machine in the foyer were good quality. All in all we’d definitely stay here again as even the surrounding area was great with good restaurants.
- Josie (10/5): Cosy and intimate - Sexy atmosphere, cosy and intimate rooms, perfect positioning for the delights of Montmartre. Loved every minute of our stay.
- Douglas (8/5): Great staff - Only here a couple of nights but we loved the location
- Chris (4/5): They try hard... - On 3 out of 4 days our room was no ready by 3.30/4pm. Breakfast is poor with a rubbish coffee machine.
The room, shower, bed and pillows were very small. The lift is tiny also.
Lovely area but very hilly.
The desk staff were friendly but the rest were useless. Tables were never cleared at breakfast time. Food wasn't replenished at all. A poor hotel.
- Jo (8/5): Purple oasis - Quiet hotel with its own atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. It has a vey good location, few minutes from metro and buses. Literally 3 minutes from Sacre Coeur. The rooms are quite small like in most hotels in Paris, but my one was ok.if you don't mind climbing up the hill, it's a peaceful place away from busy streets.
- Marang (10/5): Good hotel - Comfortable hotel, Very helpful staff. Good for solo traveller. Close to tarin station.
- James (10/5): Absolutely amazing experience - For a first time visit to France and considering it was for a special occasion, we couldn’t have been happier that we chose Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour for our stay. Thank you so much to all the staff for being so helpful and welcoming! Will definitely come back if we revisit Paris.
- Anne (2/5): Bed Bugs - This place is infested with bed bugs. I am covered in bed bug bites. I’ve left several messages for the hotel and they have not responded. Do not stay here, you will regret it.
- Chris (10/5): Will definitely be back - Thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend adding breakfast as it was a good start to a day full of sightseeing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location for seeing all the main sights. Perfectly suited a couple exploring Paris for the first time.
- Sam (10/5): - Very friendly staff. They helped us navigate our route in the city every day and were happy to answer any questions we had. The room was beautiful and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect just down the steps from Sacre Coer which was one of our favorite sites in Paris, and the little square of cafes around the hotel was our favorite hang out spot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A terrific stay at this chic Paris hotel; superb staff who were so helpful with Metro and Bus suggestions, restaurant reservations and maps to help you get around. There are bars, cafes and restaurants all within 1-5 minutes walk of the Hotel itself.
The room was lovely, small but this is Paris, with a comfy bed, air con and shower. A lot was packed into a small space with innovative lighting and wall decor.
Breakfast was delicios with a spread of both cooked and continental options, good coffee too!
A special mention to Yann for all his help and attention.
I hope that we can visit again soon.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice stay - Karine was a little angel to make a great stay for me! Thank you!!!!
- Wazeeha (10/5): - A fabulous hotel in a great location. Very romantic and decorated welk.Breakfast was good too.
- Carrie (8/5): Cute design right near Sacre-Coeur - Overall, this hotel was quite nice. The room was very small, although this is not unusual for a hotel in Paris. The room was clean and had a cute theme and design. The neighbourhood is okay, although I wouldn't feel comfortable late at night by myself. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed At - Absolutely horrendous. Hotel was dirty, smelled horrible, and was deceptively small, the size of a closet. Horrible experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location location location - Awesome location and lovely check in staff. The room was very small but comfortable. It was not very clean (in the room or in the hallway) but otherwise very good.
- Kashtan (10/5): Love nest at Montmartre - A nice and cozy place at the foot of the Sacre Couer. 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Good breakfast and friendly staff. All in all, good stay, albeit a bit overpriced. But then again, it's Paris.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not good as expected. - The decorations are ok but the size of bathroom and toilet are too small. And the shower heads were unable to switch. The local area also were dirty and smelling.
- Henry (8/5): - Wonderful location, charming, if compact, décor, very friendly and helpful staff - a magical and memorable stay
- Ryan (8/5): Nice hotel near attractions and metro - The hotel staff were very friendly and the packages included were interesting (good for young couple for a taste of romance). There are two nearby metro stations (Anvers and Barbès - Rochechouart) which can lead you to major tourist attraction sites although you have to walk uphill from metro to the hotel. Walk from Gard de Nord (Eurostar station) to the hotel is around 20 minutes. A few restaurants nearby the hotel.
- Samantha (8/5): - No real service in the hotel. We understand competition from the area but not four star with no real bar. Cleaning could be better top of curtains corners of room carpet. Mould in bathroom ceiling.. for price we excepted better. Nice touch macaroon and sign for your honeymoon. Nice decode and idea. Lovely romantic feel.
- John (8/5): Monmatre hotel - The area around this hotel is fabulous if you want a more relaxed, laid back, but nonetheless beautiful part of Paris. The hotel is boutique and very well presented in the lobby etc. The rooms are tiny for a 6'4" fella with suitcases and not many places to put them. Had a problem with a very slow / non-draining bathroom sink which didn't get fully resolved during the stay there.
- S Hamidi (10/5): Perfect - Perfect and romantic
- Yuriy (8/5): - Good location and comfort, WiFi could be better
- Christian (8/5): Great location - Great location, great decoration! Room is a bit small and shower too..
- Eric (10/5): Cutest little hotel - When I first walked into the room, I bumped into all 4 walls at once. OK, I'm kidding but the rooms are small, but it was super cute. I later then found out all of Paris is tiny.
But when I first researched on expedia, this hotel got my attention by the name, Good marketing!
Anyways, staff was really great in telling me where to go and how to go. Because it was my first trip to Paris. And when I got back from playing tourist, they were all amazed, I walked essentially most of Paris on foot.
I would recommend it again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not for families - This is a Lovers Aka couple hotel. Sex toys for sale in closet! However staff is very nice. I had to stay no cancellations allowed.
- Anthony (6/5): Overrated - Overrated hotel. Breakfast was poor quality, served in a very small dark area. Small poorly designed room, not particularly clean. Don't except a very romantic experience either - thankfully I was there on a business trip. Staff was helpful though.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good location dirty hotel - Although the staff was very friendly and the location is good… This hotel was one of the dirtiest, and tackiest love shack sort of establishments I've ever walked into. I recognize the price was incredibly cheap, but I did not realize that this was really going to be a hotel purely focused on just having casual rendezvous. You didn't want to touch the sofa, and the carpets were filthy
- Barbora (6/5): Amazing location, tacky rooms. - The hotel is definitely a 'love' hotel with perhaps slightly tacky red interior and 360 degree mirrors in the room. The room is very clean however! There is no little bar in the room with refreshments and chocolates, as usually, which makes one wonder where the 4 stars come from. I guess it's the location, as it is fantastic.
On the second night of the stay, I was woken up by a loud fire alarm. Burnt breakfast, they said.
- Verified traveler (6/5): wouldnt stay again - Great location hotel felt cramped and the room was too hot and the fridge didnt work. Didnt sleep well in the hard bed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel is not a 4 star hotel and the room is very small and the bathroom is a joke.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Really nice bohemian area of Paris - Small, but pretty clean rooms unless you upgrade to deluxe. Safe, wonderful area with lots of cafes surrounding. Hotel staff reaaally not a help at all in recommendations or accommodations, I always felt that I was bothering them with any question. Unorganized check out. Overall, an okay experience.
- dominick (10/5): Most bang for the buck - Great location and the price was extremely friendly
- James (10/5): Perfect for Paris - Montmartre mon Amour was amazing. Boutique in every sense, it had great charm and a wonderful staff. We had mentioned to the staff that we were there on our honeymoon, which resulted in great, unexpected personal touches to be left for us in our room. The decor is a bit cheesy, but it's perfect if you're looking for something unique. The area is fantastic and provides relatively easy access to all of the common areas of Paris. Located next to tons of great local bistros and shops that are open late and accommodating to English-speaking tourists. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Paris for a romantic occasion.
- Michael (2/5): So bad we had to leave. - We came into the hotel with high hopes based on the previous reviews. The lobby and the initial service were very nice, but things quickly deteriorated when we reached our room. Our room, as well as the entire floor, smelled terribly of mildew. We opened the windows and attempted to air out the smell, but it did not help. I checked the other floors and they all smelled normal. I then inquired at the front desk about the smell and changing rooms. To my surprise, the hotel was aware of the situation on our floor! There was a recent flood from a shower in another room, and since the entire floor is carpeted, it must have gotten soaked and not been dried out quickly. Unfortunately the entire hotel was booked, so room changing was not possible. The smell was so bad, my wife and I began to feel ill. We contacted hotels.com and they contacted the hotel directly about the situation and obtaining a refund. To my surprise again, the hotel refused to give us our money back, even though in my opinion, the rooms on our floor were not safe to occupy with that much mildew. Fortunately, hotels.com provided us a voucher to partially cover the costs of staying elsewhere. After we returned to the US, the hotel management reached out to us for feedback on our stay. I informed them of the situation and requested a refund, but they have never gotten back to me. I am extremely disappointed with the way the hotel management handled this situation.
- Lee (10/5): Really cool - Perfect for a little romantic get away. Staff were really nice and helpful. Loved the decor. Lovely little area - we had a great time! :-)
- Hendrikus P. (6/5): - It is difficult to find a good hotel in Paris, maybe interesting for lovers I can imagine, but my room was very dark with no street window or view, so felt strange.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing! - Super friendly staff! Will definitely book again in the near future! Great Cafe's around the area! Such a beautiful and charming neighborhood! We absolutely loved it! Everything was walking distance! And a beautiful church just minutes away!
- Rohanna (8/5): Good location, Great Attentive Staffs - I stayed for 3 nights. My first night almost everything went wrong, from airport taxi who take me to a wrong place, tv, phone and wifi in room not working. However, the gentleman who check me in, was politely advise that he can arranged for a taxi for airport departure, offer to change room the next day as that night they were running full. Next day, my room was changed and everything went well. I have enjoyed my stay as the hotel location is accessible to most important area for me to visit. I mobile around by using the Metro which is convenience and cheap. On my last last the lady at the reception assist me with internet connection and arrange for the taxi to the airport. To my surprise I had a limo with the normal rate. The limo driver speak well in English thus we had a good conversation right to the airport. I am a single traveler and I do feel safe. Well done to the great service accorded by the hotel staffs and limo driver. THANK YOU
- Nelly (8/5): - Nice location, very friendly and helpfull staff. Good for couples or singles.
- Dr (10/5): Brilliant location, with wonderful staff - Pros:
Wonderful location at the foot of the sacre coer and a short walk to the metro.
Beautifully clean rooms.
Very comfy bed.
Staff go above and beyond.
Value for money.
Cons:
If only a few feet bigger in each room, but even at 6'2 I managed not to bump into things too much.
Not a huge amount of facilities within the hotel, however you're next door to several bistros and quaint bars and minutes from the pigalle strip or a metro for the town centre.
Overall: a great base for our romantic few nights in Paris.
- Saul (6/5): - difficult access, good restaurants, bring your hiking shoes for the stairs
- Mackenzie (10/5): Absolutely wonderful - This hotel was one of my favorite in the whole world (and I've been around). I came here for the last two days of a trip with my fiancé. The staff all spoke very good english and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I really liked that they allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel, free of charge, 2 days in advance of our stay while we backpacked in Spain. The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre which is filled with lots of fun little shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is adorable - every room is themed with a famous couple. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The hotel offers room service which is a plus. We will definitely stay here again.
- Mark (8/5): Excellent stay - Fantastic hotel for a solo or couple traveling. The room was gorgeous; when we discovered a broken shower door, we were promptly and easily moved to a comparable room. The staff were always helpful. The location could not have been better. You never felt surrounded by tourists. Only downside: the wi-fi connection is bad or at times non-existent, which was unfortunate as I had business to conduct every day and had to struggle to find wi-fi elsewhere.
- Spiritof 68 (10/5): Great location - Lovely break. Great little hotel. What more is there to say. I don't have anything more to add.
- Ollie (6/5): Very small room, but comfortable stay for 2 nights - Upon arrival the hotel staff were very welcoming, informative and polite. We stayed in room 104 on the first floor, which we used the lift to get to (just about big enough for two people with very small suitcases!) the décor in the hallway was bright red all over, which was a bit OTT, but given the hotels 'love' theme we found it rather amusing. Once in the room we were surprised at just how small it was, not really big enough for two people to pass each other at any point around the bed. That said, the bed was comfortable, and unless your planning on spending your time in Paris locked away in your hotel room, it was absolutely fine. The weekend we visited was incredibly hot and humid, which was lovely, but the air con in the room wasn't very good, and there was no fridge/mini-bar to keep bottled water cool. Other than that the hotel was good, and in its own way, quite unique.
- jacquiline (8/5): Romantic hotel for couples only - Booked this not realising it's a romantic hotel style geared to couples . The break was for my daughter and I so a wrong choice for us. It is in a great location , lovely area and just at the bottom of the steps of sacre cover. Coffee shops outside for coffee and croissant and lovely staff there. The hotel itself is very clean but rooms tiny. No coffee making facility in room which was a pain. Transport to places is easy and always use metro. Walk to barbess down the hill ( note chateau rouge closed until summer 2017) and use pink line 4 , from this line you can get off direct at places such as louvre , cite(for Norte dam) , montparnasse or change for another line which is easy. Be aware that with it being Paris and the pound being weak , everything is very expensive , averages for us were 7euro for a glass of wine, 4 euro coffee,5euro coke, onion soup 9euro, small plate of cheese 10euro, evening main course 19euro, beer 5 euro.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely romantic hotel in the center of Montmartre. - My wife and I stayed here recently for two nights in August for our 5th wedding anniversary. Prior to our stay, I contacted the staff for recommendations for local bars, places to eat and also for the best way to get to the hotel from the airport (Orly) I cannot praise the staff enough for their help, and they made us feel so welcome. They were truly fantastic and made such a difference to our stay. We were given a detailed directions, a list of places to eat (The Botak) about 10 meters away is a lovely little place for a drink and a meal. We were also provided with a map of the local area and talked through places to visit and ways to get there. I have to say a huge thank you to Sarah, who works on reception, she is fantastic, very helpful, speaks great English, and is just lovely. The Hotel itself is lovely, and perfectly situated for exploring the fantastic area of Montmartre. As with most Parisienne hotels, space is limited, and our room was not 'spacious' however, it was everything you really need, clean, modern, comfy, quiet and romantic. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone (couples) who want a romantic stay in Montmartre. We had a great time and would definitely go back again.
- Hope (8/5): Well located - Our stay was great. The hotel is very beautiful with very attentive staff members. Very well located. The little centre called la place de tetre is absolutely beautiful with so many artists, small shops, restaurants; the basilique du sacre-cœur de Montmartre is right at the corner.
The rooms have different themes and just well done. Note that for folks who love spacious rooms the standard rooms are really very small , so I would advise you to book the deluxe or superior rooms instead. We had booked the standard room and it was very small for 2 people. We could hardly walk around or even fit our suitcases. There was no mini bar or coffee/tea maker. Also, the wifi was not strong enough. But the next day we asked if we could upgrade and the front desk gentleman was so nice that he got us a room there and then, and we loved it!
- Jennifer (6/5): Mold in Shower - The shower has some mold in the crevices. Did not feel very clean.
- Jack (10/5): Great Hotel with a Great Staff - We had a great experience during my stay at this Hotel. What a Staff!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Romantic, not cheesy - As advertised. Good location. Very nice décor, excellent bed and bedding. Everything was very clean. Very tall or very large people may find the room difficult to navigate.
All staff was attentive, most were also competent and friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a great stay. Great buffet breakfast. Clean comfortable room / bed. Unfortunately internet connect was down during our stay and the TV connections in the bedrooms were down - particularly a shame (for my husband) as it was during Euro 2016.
- Sophie (8/5): Almost a 5 star - My husband and I stayed 6 nights at this hotel. The staff was always very pleasant. The hotel is very small and quite charming. We felt like we were guests in someone's fancy home.
the pros: the staff, free snacks offered daily in the lobby/restaurant, 2 USB plugs in our room, clean room, beautifully decorated. Room temperature can be easily controlled.
Tips for future travelers: staying in Montmartre means you'll climb a lot of stairs, so be prepared. The hotel offers body wash which can double as shampoo, but no conditioner. Like most hotels, it's not soundproof. I'm a light sleeper and I always travel with ear plugs, which always works for me. The wifi connection is not great. You may not be able to FaceTime. We were able to walk (1 hour) to the popular sites Paris has to offer (Louvres...etc).
Both my husband and I loved our stay at this hotel.
- Lloyd (8/5): Great quirky hotel - Perfect place to access the Montmartre area & live the local life like a Parisian
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good area small rooms
- Narran (10/5): Excellent location! Great hotel - Staff were very friendly, one of the few that know what customer service is. Location was fantastic! Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are tiny but that's expected in paris.
- Terence (6/5): Good location . But lots of steps to consider. - Was a wedding anniversary, to a typical French small hotel
- tim (10/5): Great area, very good hotel - Loved the area. Good restaurants & very accessible to downtown sites.
- Tammy (8/5): Nice hotel right next to Sacré Coeur - This hotel was nice enough, albeit a bit kitsch.
We enjoyed our stay here and found the staff very helpful.
Breakfast was pretty comprehensive and included everything you would expect. There was also free afternoon tea (wine and cold cuts) every day.
Location-wise, the hotel is really close to Sacré Coeur but a fair way from other tourist sites in Paris -- but getting around wasn't an issue because the hotel was close to a few metro stops.
The hotel called us a fairly-priced chauffeur service to drive us to the airport on the last day.
- GARY (10/5): - 4 nigh city break good location for seeing Paris. Great breakfast.
- Ian (10/5): Great hotel for couples - This is a great little hotel perfectly located in Montmartre, a stone's-throw away from Sacre-Coeur and just a 5 euro Uber ride from Gare du Nord. The hotel has a love theme and is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with everything from checking in to booking restaurants and recommending places to see. Its location makes it a perfect base for a sightseeing trip of Paris. There are excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance and two or three Metro stations too for getting around the city. The rooms are clean and very comfortable although the basic rooms are very small and lack a desk or tea & coffee making facilities, but to be honest this is Paris - why would you make your own coffee? There is a brilliant cafe restaurant just two doors down at Au Botak - where the food and coffee is excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Exquisite hotel great for a romantic stay - Exquisite hotel. Small problem with room servicing but nothing major. Hence the mark down on cleanliness
- Fr. M & Br. L (10/5): Perfect Little Heaven. - An experience I & My partner will not forget, I wanted to plan a perfect loving weekend for two & the results came far above our expectations!.....Some restaurants did not come top, the weather? who care?....but this little heaven and is Staff we will never forget whatever happen!
- pete (6/5): nice location, much to small for the price. - when we check in to the hotel a piece of the wall trim fall off and hit me on the back of the head. The water fr4om the shower leaked out the back wall and wet the entry way carpet.
- Rob (8/5): Good Hotel, great staff. - We knew the room would be small, but the staff easily made up for that - friendly and helpful, you could not ask for more.
- alison (10/5): Gorgeous boutiue hotel - A must see. A beautiful boutique hotel. Amazing rooms, food and the staff are so fabulous. Hotel is surrounded by lots of traditional cafe, bars and restaurants. Gorgeous place, didnt want to come home ❤️
- Kate T. (10/5): Excellent - My second stay at Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour and I would definitely return for a third stay! Great value for the money. Rooms are very clean. Staff is helpful.
- Sarah (8/5): Lovely hotel in the centre of Montmartre - The only fault I would be able to comment on is the size of the rooms, they are very compact but in a city like Paris space comes at a premium.
Delicious breakfast, brilliant service from the staff.
- Lacy (10/5): Honeymoon in Paris - We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a good choice. Montmartre is a great neighborhood in Paris and this hotel is directly down the steps from Sacre Coeur, which is a great spot. The hotel love theme is perfect for couples and is very cute. The rooms are small, but all hotel rooms in Paris are small. The rooms were very clean, however, the maid kept barging in on us barely knocking before giving us time to announce were still in the room. This happened to us about 3-4 times over the course of our stay. Otherwise a great experience and we would stay here again.
- John (8/5): A pleasant stay in Montmartre. - The room was absolutely silent at night. I enjoyed being steps away from Sacre Coeur. My only disappointment was the very 'sketchy' neighbourhood around the closest Metro station.
- Jonathan (8/5): Comfortable hotel with friendly staff - Room and bathroom clean and comfortable.
Neighborhood a little dodgy at night. Females travelling alone at night should be careful. Daylight is okay.
10-15 mins walk with luggage from Chateau Rouge or Anvers metro stop.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Lift small.
- Lee (10/5): Perfect for Couples - We stayed for one night and had a faultless stay. Staff were very efficient but not robotic, the whole place had a lot of personality. It is aimed at couples primarily, but location near the centre of Montmatre makes it convenient for anyone doing the tourist thing. Access to the rest of Paris is straightforward by Metro, walking distance to the Moulin Rouge and Pigalle. If you have mobility issues Montmatre is very hilly with lots of steps so may not be the best choice, otherwise go for it!
- Verified traveler (6/5): good location terribly small room - I know it's the paris norm but this room was beyond any expectations of smallness! ok if you plan on spending no time at all in the room but as a pregnant woman on my last 'baby moon' I needed somewhere to rest and it was a bit miserable! I also couldn't fit into the shower room!
