• Haroon (10/5): - Our family of 4 stayed at this place for a full week in end of April 2025. Three guys at the front desk are fluent in English, are very friendly, cordial and responsive, and assisted us a lot in planning our days. I spoke with owner even before we got there, and he presented different airport transfer option. Then the front desk staff arranged for rides of our choice both ways, Daily breakfast on roof top with views was good with a variety of options to choose from. The nice lady who manages the kitchen does not speak English, but she was very easy to connect to through other staff or online translations. Room had attached bathroom, and had views of water and even some of city. Room was cleaned daily and beds were comfortable. Overall, a positive experience. Owner and staff keep up the good work!

• Guneet (10/5): - We loved our stay at Sea House Suites! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with booking tours and giving directions. Breakfast options were limited but the food was good and the view is unmatched! The bathroom was a bit smaller than expected but very clean. Most of the things to see (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar) are all within a 10 mins walk and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance so definitely worth the stay!

• Assel (10/5): Highly recommended! - Our stay in this hotel was amazing from the beginning till check-out, and even after! The room was clean and comfortable, and had a miracle view (the same view also on terrace where was breakfast served). Employees Mr.Iyed and Mr.Tursun are very polite, helpfull and the MOST important - Perfect speaking english! The Suites are also close from all touristic places: 12 min walk to Sultan Akhmet Mosque etc. I can highly recommed this place to stay, cause the service and location were the best if compare to other places we've stayed.

Larger TVs in rooms are needed, checks on tv remotes needed , improvement on the very limited breakfast provided by introducing new items and removing other unnecessary items which won’t cost the owners any extra money and will reflect positively on guests’ stays.

• Candice L (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the sea views can't be beat. The hotel is a little old, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast every morning was lovely and we definitely got our fill before we went on our day. Perfect location as well, super close to all the sights in the old town. Would def stay again!

The bathroom was not very clean, the fridge was not emptied before we checked in, and had leftover milk which likely belonged to previous guests. There were no trashcans available in room which was very inconvenient. The primary disappointment was our experience in breakfast. There were very few options, and very little space to sit and eat. Most of the tables were out in the terrace where it was too cold to sit. There are plenty of better hotels in the area for a similar price so I expected a bit more here.

• Ramadan Salem (2/5): Cheated me with taxi - I had bad experience with one of the receptionists the day we left I asked him to book us a taxi but he cheated us , he said he looked up in the internet and found out that due to the rain the taxi company has increased the meter rate by 30% , I know usually taxi from sultanahmet to Sabiha airport would not be more than 180 Turkish lira , I told him that this is odd how can a taxi company increase their rate so suddenly , but he mentioned the taxi company is asking 230 Turkish lira to drop us in Sabiha , I told him I prefer meter as I had bad experience before with the yellow taxi in Istanbul as most of them are scammers and do their best to ask more than the usual meter rate , the receptionist tirkced me by saying ok you can ask him to put the meter but donot pay him more than 230 , I agreed and thought the taxi driver won't trick me this time but after I ride the taxi with my wife I mistakenly thought the meter was on but that was not the meter it was the clock display on the mirror in digital , when the taxi moved after few minutes I realized and I spoke to him asking to switch on the taxi meter , he pretend not to speak English and connected me to the hotel who insisted that he informed earlier and that I have accepted , I had no choice to cancel the trip as it was raining and I wanted to reach the airport , so I just surrendered , obviously the hotel receptionist had aggrement with the driver to half the extra 70 or 80 lira he overcharged us .

The only problem that I had was about the size of the room. Family room is suitable just for three people not 4 specifically for sleeping. For extra bed you have to pay 10 tl daily which is not a lot. Very nice breakfast. beautiful view and the place has located in a very nice area. We had a very good time. Enjoy ur trip.
