- TessaV (7/5): Great location but the staircase is a doozy - The location was great in Trastevere, and in walking distance of various points of interest as well as places to eat. The room and bathroom were clean though the bathroom could use some updating and better lighting. The staircase is not for the faint hearted or anyone who struggles with stairs in any way (or children) as they are very tall and steep. Thank goodness for the handrail.

- Ulrike (10/5): - Die Wohnung ist so charmant eingerichtet und vermittelt sofort ein Wohlfühlgefühl. Sie liegt in bester Lage....wir konnten fast alles fußläufig erreichen und am Abend war viel los, was herrlich war. Trotzdem konnten wir wunderbar schlafen und bekamen vom Nachtleben nichts mit.

We liked our room with it's quirky decor mixed with original features. The location was amazing for food and drinks and short walks to the main attractions. It was clean and the host was polite and always available. The room was quite small and smaller then we expected, but it was okey and it did the job. The Rome experience is outside and not in the room. But we think it was a bit pricey compared with the size of the room.

- Alexia (6/5): Very lively location, great for bars and restaurants, but therefore noisy. - The location is great for bars and restaurants and is very lively and attractive. The room is clean and has a decent bathroom and good size wardrobe. There are good lamps and bedside tables on each side of the bed. It is noisy till about 1am and is on ground level. Although there were plenty of cushions the pillows were very lumpy and I ended up buying a pillow to ensure a decent night sleep. It does have a rather damp smell. But it

When we arrived, they hadn't set up the additional bed as we had agreed. It is true that they came immediately to fix it. Also, the room's cleanliness was quite poor; I found a toenail under the pillow on the first day. The shower wasn't too great either, and they didn't give us more TP or shower gel than what we had the first day, which was not enough.

Lots of restaurant choices close by. Churches. It was perfect. I know it’s obvious by its name but really narrow staircase. Lol it was a struggle for us carrying 25kg luggages. Abbiamo controllato e pulito noi il filtro del deumidificatore che era veramente sporco. Meglio prestare attenzione a questi dettagli anche perché un filtro sporco non fa bene alla salute
- Orangerot (9/5): Rundum perfekt! - Zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage; perfekt mit den Öffentlichen zu erreichen und alles, was man am Abend braucht, Restaurants, kleine Geschäfte, ist um die Ecke, zudem sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Apartment selbst ist liebevoll gestaltet und bietet auch da alles, was man sich wünschen kann in sehr gutem Zustand. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen! Da fällt uns nix ein :-)

- Rik (6/5): De ligging is prima om Rome te voet te ontdekken, het verblijf is basic - De locatie om Rome op wandelafstand te bezoeken was prima. Er waren ruim voldoende eetgelegenheden in de omgeving. Enkel bij aankomst en als we overdag even binnenkwamen waren de verhuurders aanwezig en kon je iets vragen. Zo hebben we tot de derde dag moeten wachten, voordat een bed werd ververst. Na de incheck en bij afwezigheid van de verhuurder merkten we dat een laken niet proper was, zodat we enkele nachten op een niet zuiver laken hebben moeten slapen. Bij de boeking was ontbijt inbegrepen, ter plaatse stond op de deur dat er geen ontbijt was. Er waren wel zoetigheden, enkele sneetjes brood, zoet beleg (choco, confituur), yoghurt en smeerkaas, koffie en thee aanwezig. Wel moest je elke dag avonturen of deze etenswaren aanwezig waren. Sommige dagen ontbrak wel een of ander product. De hoge trappen om je kamer te bereiken is vermoeiend. De afwezigheid en bereikbaarheid van de verhuurders is niet positief onthaald. Bij het vertrek hebben we de sleutels in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte gelegd omdat we op het ogenblik van uitcheck niemand aanwezig was.

- Fiona (10/5): A fabulous stay - What a wonderful place to stay. Trastevere is beautiful, particularly in the evenings, and you are surrounded by restaurants and bars, while also only a short walk.over the bridge to all the attractions. You can walk to anywhere from here. We stayed in the studio, which we loved. Warm, comfortable, cleaned every day. Breakfast and toiletries restocked as needed too. The daybed was a very comfortable resting place when we got back after wearing our feet out every day! Great correspondence with the owner, super helpful. We had everything we needed, including a very effective heated towel rail fir drying our clothes after a torrentially rainy day! Great value for money, too.

- Lourdes rocio (8/5): Práctico, cómodo y muy buena ubicación - Muy buena ubicación, muy práctico el espacio común de la cocina con los snacks para el desayuno. Las escaleras eran bastantes complicadas de subir más que nada con el peso de las valijas.
- Sharon (10/5): Great B&B in Trastevere - Very charming and rustic property - just what we wanted. Great location right in the middle of Trastevere with all the restaurants. Tram and bus stops close by making it easy to get around. Staff at the property were very friendly and helpful and communication prior to our stay was great. The shared areas were well respected and breakfast pastries were great. Steep steps not suitable for everyone, however not a problem for us. If staying at the front of the property can be noisy due to location.

Nous pouvions prendre notre petit déjeuner et le dîner parfois. Vraiment très bien. A conseiller. Peut-être les marches pour les personnes qui ont des difficultés à monter les escaliers.

- Bourgaud (8/5): - Proximité avec les transports, restaurants. Lucia est très réactive et sympathique, cherche des solutions pour ses hôtes. Très bruyant de part l’emplacement et les voisins. Si vous n’êtes pas sensible au bruit et que vous souhaitez être proche des lieux de vie c’est parfait.

- Ferro (8/5): On reviendra! - L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Rome et passer de bonnes soirées proche du logement. Le lit hyper confortable! La salle de bain. La douche est vraiment petite.

- Harm (8/5): Charmant verblijf - Vanaf de luchthaven kun je met de trein naar station Trastevere. Vanaf het station ga je verder metvde tram en dan is het nog een klein stukje lopen. De locatie was erg fijn. Midden in een leuke buurt met veel restaurants en cafés. De BB ligt in een rustig straatje. Vaticaanstad, het historische centrum liggen allemaal op loopafstand. Het ontbijt ligt voor je klaar en is fijn om de dag mee te starten. Contact met eigenaren verliep via WhatsApp en reactietijd was erg snel; zeer fijn. Wij hadden een ruime badkamer, maar douchecabine was erg krap.
- Dupont (10/5): A gem in the midst of Trastevere! - What a fabulous apartment to come 'home' to at the end of an adventurous day in Rome. We stayed a week, and loved every minute of our comfortable stay at B&B Ventisei Scalini. Not only is the apartment visually inviting; the supplied continental breakfast thoughtful and adequate; the location perfect; the bathroom amenities sufficient; the daily cleaning thorough; and the overall state of the apartment and complex very clean; but the genuinely warm 'bend over backwards' attitude of the staff made our stay even better. Lucia and Miguel shared local knowledge, allowed us to check in a little early, accommodated needs and requests effortlessly; and even gifted us a bag of the cookies they offer for breakfast because we loved them so much. They take pride in their accommodation and service, and do all they can to ensure your stay is an excellent one. Nothing! It was a perfect stay.
