Guest Reviews
- Louise (10/5): - Convenient location, great helpful staff, cafe/restaurant available and 24 hour help desk. Would recommend
- Scott (8/5): - Clean room, no frills but just what you need for a place to lay your head.
- Adam (6/5): - Smallest room ever - was essentially a large cupboard. Room just fits a double bed.
- Adam (8/5): Good Solution Near to Paddington Station - I needed a small room with no frills to keep me close to the Express to Heathrow early in the morning. This location fit the bill perfectly. There isn't a ton around the location, but I found a nice pub called The Heron with some awesome Thai food nearby and a pint.
The room is tight but it's air conditioned which I appreciated as a room without windows could get very stuffy very quickly. That wasn't a problem here. I did hear the subway going by in my room reguarly until about midnight which could be a problem for some people, but I always carry ear plugs when I travel now.
The reception and check in was super friendly. Kudos to the hotel for hiring friendly staff which made me feel very welcome. If you need a close hotel to Paddington Station at a value price, this hotel should fit the bill.
- Richard (10/5): 2 night business trip - Received a warm welcome from staff and a friendly personal goodbye on check out.
Nice pastries for breakfast.
5 min walk from Paddington and edgeware road stations for ease of travel. I would stay again.
- Michael (10/5): - Fantastic time at this hotel in Paddington! Close to Paddington station, giving you access to multiple tube/transport lines. So many food options and restaurants close by too.
The room was very modern and clean! The bed was really comfortable.
Staff were very helpful always greeting you with a hello good night. We included the breakfast and it was really nice. Plenty of options available. My only recommendation would be if toast or scrambled eggs were made available but that’s my own personal preference.
Purchased coffee at the hotel each evening and it was deliciously prepared at a reasonable price!
If returning to London, I would definitely consider staying here again! 10/10!
- Sandra (10/5): - Staff was very helpful, but could use a guest accessible icemaker.
- Timothy (6/5): Beware of the basement! - This place is normally alright but I had a basement room this time… I could hear the Tube rumbling loudly. I’ve raised this with the hotel but no response to date…. If you get an upstairs room it’s probably ok for a night but if you end up in the basement don’t expect a good nights sleep.
- Florine (6/5): - TV did not work well. Could not turn it on and then did not turn off. TV ended up on all night because I did not want someone in my room after midnight.
Toilet flusher button was broken and it was a battle to use it.
- Bonita (10/5): - The staff, Sam in particular, were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a couple of nights and although you could feel the underground trains, everything else was excellent for the price. Breakfast had a grab and go option which was great.
- Michael (6/5): - This was an OK hotel quite pricey for what you get…v small room and tiny bathroom and the hotel itself all felt a bit of a squeeze…so really difficult to move around, shower wasn’t great either and you get lots of sirens through the night on the min road. Just fine, nothing special but for the price I paid would expect more
- Philip (10/5): - Great location, lots of nearby restaurants.
- Steven (10/5): - I stayed for one night and felt safe. Rooms were clean and recently renovated, bed was comfortable and air con was efficient. Convenient location for Paddington, 5 min walk, and relatively quiet. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a Tesco (currently closed), M&S and independent grocers. No kettle in the room but the the staff made hot water available. I would stay here again.
- Martin (8/5): Quick overnight stay - very convenient with quick access to mass transit - walked to Covenant gardens, Piccadilly. Room was clean and beds comfortable
- Mark (8/5): - Great location, reasonable price, and a helpful staff
- Tao (10/5): - Great location to train station, shopping and restaurants. Friendly and helpfully front desk, thanks for the professional service!
- So Hing Wendy (8/5): - Best location, clear room, only thing I would like to have a kettle for hot water in my room.
- Gulfiya (10/5): - Nice hotel, close to underground and trains, helpful staff
- Alistair (2/5): - Unfortunately there was building work next door which woke us up with drilling at 7.30am and also this hotel fails to tell you that you can hear the tube trains rumble underneath you all night . They failed to warn us about the work next door so the worst nights sleep in years
- Samantha (10/5): - The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning.
We had the continental breakfast which had plenty of choice. The staff ensured there was a continuous flow of food.
It is in a great location to explore London. The underground was only a 5 minute walk away.
- Ethan (8/5): - Very good. Friendly staff. My only disappointment was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Little Gem - Central location, ideal for a short stay, shopping, nightlife etc
- Robert (6/5): - The good first. Very central location. Super easy to get from Heathrow to Paddington Station. Close to Kensington Gardens and much more. The Edgware Station (very close) is 3 Tube stops away from Euston Station. The breakfast is AWESOME, all that one would want. Great coffee machine too, Lattes and more. The staff are also super nice and helpful. The slightly negative things. I could not for the life of me figure out the air system, it was either freezing cold or Off, which made it get really stuffy in the room. The other negative, I arrived at 1pm knowing that check in was at 3. For me to check in early they charged me $15 pounds. My thinking, is my room clean available, yes? Let me in early, don't take it as an opportunity to charge more. I of course paid because I just arrived from an 11 hour flight.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A rude awakening! - Good location, clean, simple rooms. Bed lacked pillows, just one each that was very thin. Got woken up by a knock on the door at 0845 from housekeeping asking what time we were checking out, which was not appreciated!!
- Amanda (8/5): Great hotel - Lovely hotel and very friendly
- Lauren (10/5): - We loved this place! The staff were awesome and very helpful with everything we needed and it was very clean
- clive (10/5): - Close to Paddington mainline and underground and therefore all of London.
Easy to get on Heathrow Express to go to airport.
- Angela (10/5): - The location is great, walking distance to Paddington train/tube station and is surrounded by different dining options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice with good A/C just that a little dirt on the duvet and in bathroom; shower can be a bit stronger.
- Grant (10/5): - The room was comfortable.
There were lots of restaurants in the area & the staff had some good suggestions, which we checked out and really enjoyed.
The hotel is easily walkable from the tube or bus lines and allows you to get to all the major areas easily.
- Claire (8/5): Clean and modern hotel - Good hotel and convenient location. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your bag
- Sheryl (8/5): Point-A Paddington - The hotel is walking distances from Paddington Station which was ideal. The staff at the check in counter were very nice and helpful. They do however charge to hold your bags if your room isn’t ready. I reserved a larger 2 twin room and what we received was a very cozy 2 twin room but I think it is the larger of the two rooms. Everything worked in the room so no complaints there. The bathroom was very petite but did the job. Overall it is a nice hotel in the area we wanted to be in. The bus routes pick up directly across the street so very convenient.
- Christ Junnet (10/5): - Comfortable bed and very approachable staff.
Thank you very much, we will surely come back…
- Carly (8/5): - Greta one night stay, very helpful staff
- David (2/5): - Staff doesn’t clean the rooms, no coffee machine in room, staff not knowledgeable of area, recommended the Top View Bus and it was terrible
- Oliver (10/5): - Great spot near Paddington station
- YANGTSE (8/5): - ok
- Anna (10/5): Excellent - Conveniently located between two tube stations, adjacent to major street with shops, cafes and eateries. The room was more spacious than I had expected and the breakfast was ample. Bonus, Little Venice just a short walk away.
- Nicole (10/5): - Close to tube stations! Makes a perfect base. Rooms are small but have all you need and are very clean and modern. We will stay again next time we’re in London! Thankyou
- Kim (8/5): - Lovely hotel, lovely staff, comfy bed, quiet considering the location, nice and central.
Only negatives were that housekeeping walked into the room without knocking 2 hours before check out (I was still asleep and she woke me) and the lights randomly turned on at 2am on the first night. Would defo stay again
- Leanne (10/5): Good hotel - some small issues - Great location, had issue with shower not staying on wall - requested fix but maintenance not available on weekend. Had to use shower in friends room. Also charge for storage of bags upon checkout! Never had that in any hotel
- Clive (10/5): Recommend for London stay. - Concierge very friendly, Compact, Clean, Comfortable, Central location, good breakfast - overall very good experience and great value.
I plan to stay there again.
- Alex (8/5): - Easy access to Paddington
- Andrew (8/5): - Great little hotel, only thing that let it down was the size of the bathroom. Appreciate London hotel rooms are small so space is limited but it felt just a little too tight in the bathroom
- Carlos Gabriel (10/5): - The hotel is located just a few meters from Paddington Station, which offers direct connections to Heathrow Airport. There are bus stops on the street, and the underground station is inside Paddington. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The room has a comfortable bed, although it is small
- Gavin (10/5): - Good location with easy access to both Paddington and Edgware Road. Room was small with minimal storage, but fine for a couple of nights.
- Morgan Ervin (10/5): - Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room.
- Zeiad F. S. (10/5): - The location and lobby are fantastic, and all the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. I don’t recall everyone’s names, but I do remember Ali, as it’s an easy name for me—he was very polite, just like the rest of the team. Their hospitality truly made my stay enjoyable.
- Suvig (10/5): - Small interior room perfect if needing to access the train. Quite noisy with the train nearby however. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
- Bronwyn (10/5): - We had a great stay. Quiet and clean!
- George (4/5): - Would not choose again.
- Marcos (8/5): - The rooms are too small, no closet, they clean the room every three days.
- Matthew (8/5): - Great location for Hyde Park concert. Room is small but you’re paying for the location and it’s very affordable, recommend!
- Amy (10/5): Great option for Hyde Park concerts - Very clean, comfortable bed and great aircon - would definitely stay again
- Kyle (6/5): - Lack of plugs, very small bathroom (barely functional), clean and basic. I’d be inclined to pay a little more for comfort
- Salisu (10/5): - The staff and service were excellent! Will definitely stay here again.
- Nadia (10/5): - Great location for transport connections.
Walking distance of Hyde Park and Oxford Street
Very clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would stay again.
- Lesley (8/5): Very clean & friendly - Our room and the lobby was very clean.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- James (10/5): - Friendly staff and great location, close to Paddington station. Room was small but comfortable.
- Carla (10/5): - Hotel is in a great location for access to the tube and close to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Whilst basic, the hotel offers good sized, clean rooms and is very quiet for a great night sleep. Staff were professional and friendly. Proactively offered luggage storage on our check-out & use of facilities upon collection before our journey home. Would definitely stay again & recommend to anyone for a short stay.
- Paul (10/5): - Room was spotless, hotel ideally located for our trip
- chris (8/5): - Great location and nice hotel. Only problem is the building shakes and the noise from the underground trains.
- Bridget (10/5): - Good location to explore the neighborhod. Very friendly staff.
- Lisa (8/5): - The rooms are fairly basic, but are comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good.
- Jennie (10/5): - Really lovely place, clean and easy to get to. The staff were great, Sam was really friendly as well as Chris (I think was his name. He was on in the evening around 11pm).
We went to a concert in Hyde Park which was just a 20 minute walk away. And was close to the underground to get back to the train station, so made the trip a lot easier.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was my room was next to a cleaning cupboard, so every time they went in there in the morning the door kept slamming.
But overall I was really happy with my stay.
- erin (10/5): - Absolutely amazing for the first stay here! So central and everything is close nearby, Paddington station is a 10 minute walk away and there’s lots of restaurants and bars nearby! Also quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
- Gabriela (8/5): - The cozy room is small, but comfortable. For a few days and small bags is good. Clean, very good location - close to 2 subway stations. Also there’s a Tesco Express 24h that’s quite handy. We haven’t tried the breakfast at the hotel.
- john (6/5): - tired hotel, needs renovating
- George (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect!
Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff were warm and attentive, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!
- Joe (8/5): - Clean and tidy but don't stay in the basement unless you like your room shaking with the passing underground trains
- Ron (10/5): - They where very helpful and nice front desk
- Josh (10/5): - Spent 1 night here whilst seeing a concert in Hyde Park, great room, location and staff, excellent value for money.
- Katy (10/5): Two night stay. - I stayed with my sister for two nights for a concert and it was amazing. So easy to get to from Hyde park, tube station just outside the hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful and make us feel so welcome. We had to leave early in the morning for our flight home and staff were at reception.
- Jason (10/5): BST pit stop - Perfect for BST in Hyde Park!
- Peter (8/5): - Room/bathroom wasn’t big but it was very clean and in very good condition. No hand towels in bathroom, just a large bath towel each. Staff were excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice, clean and friendly - Nice stay, very friendly staff and a fast check in process. The rooms aren't massive, but fine for a short stay and we'll maintained. Stayed a few times and will stay again.
- Natalie (10/5): - Hotel is in a great location. Rooms are clean and not absolutely tiny like a lot of hotels. Air conditioning is great. Staff are brilliant and were amazing getting lost property back to me!
- veronica (10/5): - Great service !!!
- touria (2/5): - Terribly small rooms! There was no space to even open our suitcase. And they do not even clean the rooms if your stay is less than 3 days.
- Valerie (8/5): - I liked: located at 3 minutes from an MS food hall, Starbucks, pharmacy, and the Edgware subway station (which is more accessible than Paddington station). Hotel is clean and good-looking. My room was clean (probably newly made or remodeled), and I didn’t mind that the service was only provided every 3 days (was there 3 nights anyway), so that I didn’t have to care about leaving the room messy. A/C was very efficient during the major heat wave, but too scented (see below). The WIFI is included and fast (I could work on my laptop with no interruption). The staff is very helpful and friendly. The shower was powerful and clean. The bed was comfy. I had great blackout curtains. Breakfast goes up to 11 am, and it costs 13 pounds (if not included), and you can decide on the day if you want it or not (as opposed to committing to it at the beginning of the stay).
I didn’t like: This part of Paddington is not very interesting and not very classy. The street can be noisy at night (homeless, police sirens…). My room was small for the price. There is no drawer or table. You have to open the suitcase on the ground (roomy countertop in the bathroom, though).
Bad: the A/C blew a strong scent of air freshener, gave me a headache, and prevented a good sleep. I am concerned when exposed to chemicals found in air fresheners.
- David (10/5): - Great hotel
Modern comfortable rooms
Good breakfast
- Susan (8/5): - The breakfast presentation was really nice. Clean, colorful and organized. Looked so go, we paid for every day of our stay.
Air conditioning really didn't cool the room. We kept the window open for air and it was noisy.
Shower could use a grab bar for safety.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great very central location, clean and comfortable rooms , friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast.
- Reniel (8/5): - The hotel is very conveniently located 10 minutes walking from Paddington stadium. Hitel staff were also nice.
I didnt appreciate that even though they say no room service until checkout, someone actually went in and serviced the room. Thats normally ok, but I prefer not to as I dont want any risk of people going through my staff.
I also found it ridiculous, that after paying over $800, they charge to store bags if you arrive early or need to hold bags when a flight out is hours after checkout. Ive traveled a lot, and never encountered this.
Rooms was also TINY. It was difficult to move around in the room.
Overall, I dont think this hotel is worth the price.
- Jacob (10/5): - Great property
- Patricia (6/5): - the hotel is well located close to Paddington Station and waling distance to most central London neighborhoods. the room is very small, they want to save in everything, so no closet, no ironing board, and just one towel per person, no hand towels.
- Joseph (10/5): - This hotel is well run and everybody is very friendly and helpful. In the middle of everything been easy to get to wherever you want to go in London. I do recommend this place for its comfort and it's pricing. :-)
- Nordex (10/5): - Lovely comfy hotel, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are compact, had what we needed for 1 night business trip, the beds were really comfy, and had a good nights sleep. Plenty of choice for the continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
- Dominique (2/5): - I only stayed 2 of the 6 days I paid for because the subway train can be heard and felt all night. I couldn’t sleep. And they don’t allow refunds so I’m out of money I spent.
- David (10/5): - The hotel is very modern and clean and tidy. I stayed in a small double room which was perfect for my overnight stay, it has everything you need for an overnight stay. Security is very good and whilst I didn’t have it the buffet breakfast looked very good and plentiful. I couldn’t find any areas for improvement.
- Angie (8/5): - Pillows too big couldn’t use them … rooms not bright enough to get ready showerhead couldn’t be moved so couldn’t shower without getting hair wet otherwise a pleasant stay
- Claudia (10/5): - It’s a very nice hotel. Affordable and conveniently located. The room was clean and comfortable. I would go back.
- Pauline (10/5): - Arrival was quick and easy but i do do my ore check in information
Location to Paddington station was perfect.
Staff welcoming and friendly.
Room clean comfortable.
Decent shower.
No complaints
- Niurka (10/5): - Os stay here again
Clean
Nice customer service
Good coffee machine
Clean and confortables
My only complaint the vegan body soap but this is a personal preference
- Christopher (10/5): - Excellent
- Dan (6/5): - It was okay, small rooms but this can be expected in city hotels. Walls paper thin so was awoken by housekeeping in the room next door vacuuming. Also can hear/feel the nearby tube line.
Not all bad though, was pretty clean, relatively central with short walks to tube stations. Staff friendly too!
- Aya (10/5): - The room was good but the area was quite noisy. It was Saturday evening in London, so perhaps expected? Also, the room did not have tea/coffee set, which was rather disappointing. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
- Vincenzo (10/5): - Staff was incredibly kind and friendly.
- Kay (8/5): - Friendly staff, good breakfast, conveniently located near two Tube stations and bus stops, clean room, budget-friendly.
We had an accessible room, which was spacious. One drawback, however, was that the shower stall had a large chair taking up most of the space, and it did NOT flip out of the way if not needed. FYI no washcloths or hand towels were provided; no closet in room.
Also note that hotel is across from a hospital, so there is some noise from sirens and busy street. Generally quiet after 10 pm, though.
Good take-out food options nearby, including Tesco, M&S Food, and Pret a Manger; fresh fruit from neighborhood groceries; a coin laundry is around the corner (one large load costs £16-21, takes cc swipes).
- Donella (8/5): - Loved this place. Friendly staff, fab continental breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for this team.
- Leslea (10/5): - Close to station and affordable, thanks.
