- Katie (10/5): amazing new experience - great customer service, friendly cats!!

- naoko (10/5): - Lo stilo è retrò anni 1900 , eravamo in tre , ci ha offerto i tre letti, sono molto comodi.i stuff erano molto disponibili, ha portato fino a terzo piano i nostri bagagli.c'era gatto carinissimo Niente di lamentarsi
- Elzbieta (9/5): - Bardzo miła obsługa, bez problemu przechowalni bagaże przed planowanym check in (walizki czekały na nas już w pokoju po przyjściu), jak i po check out.
Udogodnienia takie jak Herbata, cukierki, nici dentystyczne czy nawet gumki do włosów były do dyspozycji gości.
- MOMOKO (10/5): -
- Moritz (8/5): - Sehr gut. Toilette sehr klein
- Josua (7/5): -

- Jo (7/5): Good value, great location with a free-roaming cat; quaint room, small toilet - Great location; easy to get around from Temma station; near plenty of food options. The room was on the second floor just above the cafe and quite well-insulated from the trains; at times, the noise from the street was louder. Homely atmosphere with a free-roaming cat that meowed at the door at 6am one morning to be let in. They let us store our luggage after we checked out. The toilet room was small, even for an average Asian (me).
- Zacharias (8/5): Very good - Our room had a Japanese style toilet which was an experience. However it might be challenging for certain people. The cats were lovely and the noise from the train not an issue.
- Penelope (7/5): Good - Nice and central, they let us store our luggage after check out till mid afternoon which was great. I didn’t realise that there was no window in the room.
- Amethyst (10/5): - Hotel daiki was amazing!! If you are looking for a traditional Japanese stay this is it!!! The staff were respectable and very understanding. Also the cats were so cute!!
- Nathan (9/5): Nice place for a simple stay - Location and simple design Very noisy street
- trevor (8/5): - Room was comfortable the only thing marring it was the slight smell of tobacco smoke in the room despite being non-smoking
- Keiko (10/5): very homey and very friendly staffs. - very good location none
- Debora (9/5): Superb -
- Bree (10/5): Cheap, cheerful, clean, secure traditional hotel with 3 cats - The location was excellent - one street away from the markets and local shopping precinct and a 3 minute walk to the train station. There was also a 7-eleven and Family Mart within a one minute walk. Taxi rank out the front - the location could literally not be better!
There were 3 free range cats that live in the property which was a really lovely thing to see when you are far away from home. The bathroom was provincial but large and the room it's self was very big.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - would 100% stay there again. I was fully aware that it was a smoking hotel but it was a little over powering in the lobby - cafe space.
- Mario (8/5): Good value for money - Staff; good value for money; position Noisy train (but written in the bio); carpet
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Lovely Japanese style hotel. Good breakfast. Great sized room and great location
- Angelika (10/5): Authentic Japanese experience - Authentic Japanese room style, very cute. Well working AC units. Closeness to station and the longest Japanese shopping mall, which was not taken over by international corporates but consisted of hundreds of local small shops where locals go shopping. No window in the room, bread based western breakfast.
- Chiraz (6/5): Pleasant - Staff are friendly, very good location, very close to the metro station, good place for cat lovers as there are 2 kittens in a cage and 1 cat roaming around the rooms 😻 I chose that hotel because I wanted to try the Japanese style but it's a bit different to the pictures, no beds, almost lying on the floor (all my body aches), the carpet they use is too smelly. No variety in the breakfast, only few options for the drinks. The metro station is too close that you feel the train is in the next room.
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kwai Kin (4/5): - No lift, bad wifi
- Sako (9/5): Superb -
- Keiko (10/5): friendly staffs. - yes very good location
- Alex (8/5): Nice, old-school hotel well connected to the main attractions of Osaka. - Staff, connection to subway and train station, cats, smoking inside allowed. Loud due to trains passing nearby, my room had a window opening on a wall so no natural lights could come in.
- Jason (7/5): a great location for a transit to Kansai airport - very friendly staff smoke smell
- Jia-Yun (10/5): - We had a lovely stay! The location is perfectly in between the Nara Park and the shopping streets (and the train stations). The staff were friendly and helpful, explained anything clearly to us and shared cultural knowledge. We got to participate in a Japanese dance workshop and origami folding which both adults and kids enjoyed. The room itself was spacious, clean, and with comfortable bedding. The common kitchen and bath house added convenience and new experience too. We only wish that the TV had some English channels. But with so much to do and see within and outside the hotel, we didn't really need that much TV!
- Gregory (7/5): A fun and friendly place to stay in the hub of Temma for a great price. - This little hotel is located right in the buzz of Temma a few steps from the Osaka loop line station and around the corner from an endless undercover shopping mall. It is close to lots of cheap and tasty restaurants and interesting local shops.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the old style room was very clean and had lots of character. The 2 cats added to the homey atmosphere. Very generous with little extras like toothbrushes, teabags and little sweeties etc The cafe downstairs serves a good coffee but smoking is allowed so the smell of cigarettes seems to permeate the upstairs rooms.
The toilet room is very tiny so a taller/ larger person could find using it a bit of a struggle.
Only one power outlet in the room but we managed with the multi adapter provided.
- Joompon (9/5): Superb - Only toilet is traditional squat type. Other facilities are very good.
- Florestan (8/5): Very good -
- Aunchana (8/5): Very good -
- Nicky (6/5): value for money if you don’t mind the smoke and the noise of the train. - it was very close to the station and the staff were very kind and helpful. the bathroom was great and the breakfast was good too. it was a good size for 3 of us. it is incredibly Smokey, we couldn’t breath, even at breakfast with food people are smoking. also our room was right on the train tracks - felt like we could touch the train.
- Yap (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): So bad, booked a different hotel for 2nd night - The room was adjacent to the subway line, with single-glazed windows. The toilet seat was not attached, one of the window latches was missing, and the room was generally in poor condition. The room was smoking, even though the info on hotels.com made no mention. After booking a new hotel I canceled the 2nd night. The owner refused to give any refund saying, "Its' a cheap hotel." When I said it's false advertising to call it a 2.5-star hotel, the owner claimed he doesn't set the rating.
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Noraizan (10/5): Nice Japanese room style - Japanese style room..very. Comfortable
Near the station.temma station and ogimashi station. So cute and clean.guest should put off the shoes...love it
- Mahesh (10/5): Great overall experience - Good location and reasonable pricing.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome experience - Great location and friendly staffs. We will be back for sure!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel near Temma station - Hotel staff was very nice, accommodating, helpful. Amenities provided was very good and plentiful. Hotel was very close to the station and market. We stayed in a triple room and it was very small, toilet was tiny and hard to get in. Our room window was within about one meter from rail tracks. Noise from trains passing is a bit of down side of this hotel.
- Jacqui (10/5): they have two cats - cafe downstairs on the ground floor and then two upper floors of rooms so be prepared to haul your butt and luggage up those stairs. room was very clean and the hotel was one door down from a convenience store, which was three doors down for the train station. and yeah they have two beautiful cats.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location - Place is perfect walk from temma station just for 3 min very good!
- Verified traveler (2/5): -
- Terry (6/5): Cheap Tatami Rooms with Futons & Private Baths - Atmosphere: Cat toys in cafe entrance indicate that a cat resides in this hotel -cat allergy sufferers beware;
Service: Very warm and friendly staff (I think some English is spoken but I stuck with Japanese for practice) -I think Japan has some of the warmest and friendliest service in the world so long as one is prepared for a potential language barrier;
Cost: Cheap;
Experience: My friend and I came to visit my bartender friend so we only used the room for sleeping. It has tatami-styled rooms with your average futons so take that as you will. The toilet room was claustrophobic, but the bathing room had enough space for washing on a sitting stool (or standing) and relaxing in the nearby tub. I don't think you are supposed to wash in the tub but rather on the stool outside of it. Late at night the cat did make noises as if it was in heat or spoiled enough to get its way but that only lasted for a few minutes. Passing trains are loud but only make noises during operating hours (5 am to midnight), so they actually helped as an alarm clock and didn't bother sleep from visiting a local bar.
- JUAN (10/5): - Great authentic Japanese experience tatami bedroom. Will repeat for sure.
- Dustin (4/5): Just next to subway!!! - This hotel is just next to subway. Someone who needs quiet place may not be suitable to this hotel. But it is a very good place for transportation and shopping.
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Jason (6/5): Close to JR line - Great location, never worried abt being hungry. About railway or train passing by, wasn't an issue to me. Would luv to stay again for next time.
- SHEN -YU (8/5): - Very good place to stay, but a little small toilet
- Yu-Ching (6/5): Not bad - The room is tidy and clean, but sometimes I can hear the noise from the near room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's a hotel located right under Tenma station. It's quite loud during the night. However, the hotel is located near a large number of places to eat as well as the older Osaka district. If you're a heavy sleeper and can endure the trains, hotel daiki may be ideal for you.
- Verified traveler (6/5): no frills but adequate for extending your day trip - We booked on line the day before our trip. It was tricky to find and our room was right under the train tracks. The room was clean and met all our basic needs well including cotton yukata for sleeping in. The sundries were well stocked and high quality, the shower and toilet facilities were outdated, inadequately vented, in general musty and moldy. The staff was kind and went out of their way to help us.
- Rachsuda (4/5): Poor room condition but good neighbourhood - The hotel is next to the shopping mall and train station. Somehow, the hotel was old and not well maintained; the toilet bow didn't flush which was very horrible. The hotel staffs only spoke Japanese but tried to understand and help.
- css (8/5): shopping hotel - very near subway n excellent location just behind a long shopping bazaar with lots of food & shopping. hotel is clean n comfortable n friendly staff. has a nice alfresco table outside for coffee n enjoy the cool weather. highly recommended!!!!
- Freeman (2/5): Close to train station - The room is next to the railway. It just likes earthquake when the train passes. The toilet is terrible. No WiFi.
- twentyplusgal (8/5): Stayed for 2 nights, basic needs met - It's a convenient location since it's very near the Temma JR station, which is also a stop away from Osaka Station. If you're looking for a location near KIX and you're arriving at night, you might want to consider another hotel though.
I do like the fact that there is a 7-11 beside it, which is good in the morning when you're rushing for your first destination and need a quick breakfast. (You have a fridge inside your room where you can keep your water and food if necessary.)
You get your own bathroom. The shower is separated from the toilet. I was surprised I had a squat toilet though as I was expecting a Western one, but I didn't mind at all as I am used to this and I was only there for 2 nights.
I also love the fact that they had 2 sociable cats roaming around the hotel. If you love animals, then it's a plus!
Also, beware of the train noise at night. It didn't bother me so much though since I was always exhausted at night time and I found it easy to sleep.
If you're looking for an affordable place for a short time, located at the Osaka Loop Line, this place may suffice. If you don't speak Japanese, bring a handy dictionary along. Out of the 3 staff members, 1 didn't speak Japanese and whom I encountered upon checkin at night. I was lucky to have a local with me though.
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK hotel - Staff was very accommodating, hotel is next to train station (which means when you look out your hotel window, the train tracks are right there), no wifi, close to shops
