- Mark (6/5): Sufficient for the one night we needed. - Maybe close to the airport as the crow flies, but it is at the other side of the the runway as the terminal building and in a so-so neighborhood. The place can use an update. Old, soulless building with old equipment and not the best A/C. Would not book it again. But was sufficient for the one night we needed.

Vriendelijke mensen, hotel ligt in een buitenwijk, op loopafstand van winkels en drukke straat, echter lopen is riskant ivm het verkeer motors en brommers en is dus eg uitkijken zelfs als er al een stoep is wordt deze benut door al het verkeer.

- Verified traveler (6/5): No air-con - There was no air conditioner in the room, there is a fan but when it's 30 degrees at night it doesn't do much. Room and hotel was clean. When we checked in the lady at reception was a little rude. Although at check out the two ladies were lovely. It's relatively close to the airport about 20 minutes which costed 80-90 baht. It's okay for a night stay but I wouldn't recommend it for any longer.

- David (6/5): Pleasant stay at the Thanapamansion Don Muang - The Hotel was located a short walk from the main road,When on the main road you will find plenty of places to eat and also shops are plenty. Our over night stay was enjoyable and we found the staff very helpful and we will stay there again, when ever we are flying from Don Muang airport.

We were greeted with a cup of tea, welcome sign, and personalized postcards in our room, not to mention beautiful swan towels which rivaled any cruise towel animals! Beds were comfortable, bedding was clean. Staff was very friendly.

- VALENTINA (2/5): Ничего особенного, но полный кошмар - О ужас! Нам нужно было всего 2 ночи пережить в этом отеле, чтобы потом из До Муанга улетать на остров. Встретили нас ужасно. Был только охранник, который не говорит на английском. Несмотря на предоставленные документы по бронированию, паспорта, он не мог нас опознать и найти в своих списках. Это жесть! Стояли, ждали как дурачки. А спать то хочется - полночь была. Потом он позвал хозяина, того самого, о котором писали, что он чудесный человек. Ни фига подобного! Заспанный вышел и недовольный, даже не поздоровавшись. И уж тем более без улыбки. Так и общался с нами последующие 2 дня. Оказывается, нужно было вносить сразу же депозит 500 бат - имейте ввиду! У нас были только доллары. Они не хотели их брать, был долгий неприятный разговор. Все время проживания в отеле шел ремонт - рабочие лазили по лесам, стучали, приходилось закрывать окна и двери, но без проветривания просто жесть как жарко! Вентилятор направлен прямо вам в голову, когда вы спите и поменять его направление никак нельзя - заделан намертво! Наслаждайтесь! Нам пришлось спать ногами к изголовью - этакая ретроспектива. В шкафу пыль, запаситесь влажными салфетками. Горячей воды нет. Лучше выберите другой отель. Удачи всем путешественникам!
- GORDON (2/5): Give this place a miss - Dreadful- Taxi driver unable to find it even on GPS due to road closure- it is up a tiny side street... Grubby room like a sauna, bathroom door would not stay closed, one tiny window, no elevator. Not a word of English, spent 30 min convincing reception I had booked and paid on line despite showing him my booking on my laptop. Could not buy a cold drink because they could not change a 100Baht note (!!), nearest shop 400m away. A third-world DUMP. Worst "hotel" ever.
- Winnie (6/5): Great Service mediocre facilities - My partner and I stayed one night in a 1 double bed room with fan at Thanapa Mansion because we had to catch an early flight the next day. To this end it served its purpose well being about 20-30minutes away from DMK by taxi. Despite the ungodly hour the staff called us a cab ahead of time making the process as painless as possible. As for the room itself, the fan was loud so without earplugs nearly impossible to sleep. We found one cockroach but as soon as we told the staff about it they sent someone to kill it for us.

- ANDREW (4/5): One night stopover - Stayed as a one night stopover as we had an early flight the next morning. The hotel staff were helpful enough arranging a taxi for the morning. The neighbourhood is quiet but there is a shopping mall and 7 eleven within walking distance. Okay for one night but wouldn't stay longer and the room was quite hot. We had a fan room though.

Спускаюсь - такси нет, рецепшионист садится на велосипед и едет искать такси . В 8-05 он приезжает и за ним едет такси. До аэропорта с пробками 35 мин. И 120 батов. Из аэропорта без пробок вечером 91 бат.
- Rajat (6/5): stay at Thanapa Mansion - Overall the hotel's not bad, the staff quite friendly & helpful. Location can be a problem if you need to get to bangkok city, a bit time consuming. Also no restaurant facilities....but eating joints plenty within walking distance. Convenient for transit passengers as close to domestic airport.

The place is dated but they do their best to make up for it in service. I highly recommend this place if you want to get real with the locals.
- Viktor (8/5): Удобный отель на одну ночь рядом с Дон муанг. - Останавливались на одну ночь, т.к. отель близко к аэропорту Дон Муанг, а мы прилетели поздно. На такси получилось около десяти минут. Номер небольшой, одна кровать, шкаф, интернет работал хорошо, вентиляр на потолке, душ без водонагревателя (с утра бодрит:)) Лифта нет. На первом этаже есть кухня, есть чай-кофе-печеньки. Персонал очень дружелюбный и приветливый. Как и было обещано, утром получили бесплатный кофе и улыбки :)) Настоящие искренние тайские улыбки :)) На ресепшен вызывают taxi-meter, т.к. многие тут останавливаются именно перед перелетом с Дон Муанга, прямо в карточке регистрации есть отдельная строка, где можно указать когда нужно подать такси. Также есть рукописный плакат с примерными ценами на такси, чтобы туристов не разводили:))
- Brian (8/5): They aim to please - I am giving a pretty good review for this place. They really do try to make the place very comfortable. The place is quite dated but the service was fantastic. They will call a cab or anything else you require. It is off the better path but close to the airport and services. Roads are quite narrow, but that's Bangkok almost anywhere. As long as you don't expect 5 star turn down services, this works well for the budget and a place to sleep.

Quite bright in the room from the hallway lights and a bit sewage smelly but good service checking in with us being very late and in helping get a taxi in the morning. It took a lot longer to get to the airport in the morning from what we expected (1hr to go the 2.6mi. With no traffic it was 15 min). Since the price was right I would consider staying again unless I could splurge for more expensive accommodation even closer to airport.

- Debbie (6/5): Clean enough for a 1 night stay - We stayed here on 18 Nov 2014. Our room was clean enough for a 1 night stay. There's all day free coffee/tea at the waiting room in the lobby. The staff were pleasant. Our room was a non-ac room. We had two long red silky curtains as bedcovers. A rotating wall fan was fixed on the ceiling with not enough breeze. We had a very sweaty and uncomfortable night. 48Ville Hotel is just round the corner so we booked our return stay from Vietnam there.

Assolutamente sconsigliato

Location is 15 mins from the airport but if you want to go patpong took 45 min in the taxi but was reasonable. Overall a plea sent stay for the money I paid.
- hannara (4/5): 글쎄요... - 팬있는 싱글룸을 이용했습니다. 더워서 잠을 제대로 못잤습니다. 침대는 푹 꺼져있고 이불이 그렇게 깨끗한건 아니었습니다. 화장실에 온수도 안나오구요. 와이파이는 잘 터져요. 직원이 친절하긴하나... 돈므앙공항과 가깝다는 장점밖에는 없네요.

- Анна (8/5): Удобный транзит - Заселение быстрое, номер скромный но чистый, вода в душе прохладная, две бутылки воды и два полотенца, кровать удобная, ночью тишина. Четкий заказ такси, утром в 7.00 стояло как заказали с вечера. Очень приятный портье, с ним все время контактировали хотя он не говорит по английски. При транзите на одну ночь отель замечательный. Обязательно воспользуюсь при случае.

I was more than happy with all facilities etc during my stay I found staff to be very friendly and helpful and the surrounding area to be well equipped to supply any taste in food etc. hotel is well situated for access to Don Mueang airport. About 20 min by taxi. Overall very pleased with stay.

- Ken (8/5): Closer to the Thai people - I had a great experience during the stay here and found that with limited facilities, their friendliness exceeded my expectation, the family members tried they very best to assist their guests, for a tourist who do not know Thai, not even a little, it helped a great deal. - Phil (8/5): nice place to stay on transit - Simply put this is a nice little place to stay on an overnight transit at Don Muang. Its a great price, and about 10 minutes in a taxi to the airport. Great option to some of the more expensive places around the area. Great wifi, and the the tea and coffee is a nice touch in the mornings. They will also book a taxi for you for your transfer
- pah (4/5): veryyyyyy basic hotel.... - Had the room with the fan....no bedsheet....just an itchy bedsheet that had been used by many previous guests. So bring your own. Room was a bit too hot for me. Booked this hotel to be close to don muang airport but it ffeels pretty far.
- james (4/5): Very bad - I have chosen this hotel because the distance to Airport says 3.9Km. But it take 20 minutes by taxi even early in the morning. I think information about this mansion is completely wrong. Even worse, I couldn't commincate at all because there was only one guard in the entrance who can not speak English at all.
- shrutimkrishnan (2/5): Horrible service, unclear features when booking - We're on a 3 week trip in Thailand and this is the worst of our stays. The normal rooms in this hotel do not include hot water (not something you normally check for when booking and this is how they make money by asking you to upgrade once you're there). When we did upgrade the standard room was full of mosquitoes and the water flowed minimally so can't really shower properly. The service was even worse because they were not in the least bit interested in providing any help as we tried to call a cab etc. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.. even in desperate situations rethink before booking this place
- DaveK (10/5): Served its Purpose - Very Impressive - I only booked one night as I was transferring between Survarnabumi and Don Mueng. I arrived at 2am in the morning and the security guard was a great help. I was booked and show to my room which clean and comfortable. The security guard asked what time I had to leave for the airport in the morning, and in the morning, there was a taxi waiting. Excellent service. Not a long term hotel but ideal for the situation and very good. There are many 'airport' hotels around the world who could learn a lot from this hotel.

Quick check-in and then straight to the room, which was clean, with clean bedding and towels. The security guard had also asked what time I needed a taxi and when I got to reception in the morning, the taxi was already waiting. Standard quality of room, but excellent value for money and the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Glad I chose it.

- Pj (6/5): Decent cheap hotel by don mueng airport - Hotel was in a weird place, off a Main Street kind of in a residential area. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was clean. Stayed there to be close to airport. Simple, shower room was entire bathroom kind of place. Would not stay for more than 1 night. Did not want to put the complimentary slippers on my feet. They did have a taxi ready for us to go to the airport when we asked. Had a 5 am flight.

- Suzana (4/5): Far from airport, very simple walk-up rooms, no AC - Booked because I had a very early flight but took 40min to come from the airport on the previous day so I gave up on my stay because didn't want to drive all the way back to the airport on next morning. I don't recommend during warm days because without AC the room gets really hot. And be mindful that there is no elevator on the building so if you have big luggage and get a 4th floor room like me, will have to carry everything up. Otherwise it is a simple, cheap and clean hotel, so maybe ok if you want to stay in this neighborhood for other reasons.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good - A little hard to find the hotel. We just stayed over night because we had early flight the next day. This hotel is the nearest budget hotel. We nearly missed our flight because our alarm didn't work, but luckily this hotel offered morning call(even though we didn't request) pick up to DMK airport service. Moreover, the room is very comfortable, which is more like home. Highly recommend if you need to catch early flight at DMK airport.
- Verified traveler (4/5): A long way from the airport - Despite its description this hotel is a very long way from the international airport, hard to find and in an area without any attractions. It's also quite far from downtown Bangkok. The staff were very nice, but overall it's definitely not the kind of place that most travellers would want to stay.
- Pim (10/5): Great people great place great price !! - After 2 months travelling Asia and seeing many hotels and rooms this place and staff where probably the best so far. When we saw the price we didn't expect much but we where really pleasantly surprised. Little details like coin-operated washing machines !! Great stay and YES we recommend this place with its lovely family.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good choice for an overnight stay. - For a one night stop closer to the airport this is a good choice. It appears to be more of a long term stay hotel in a residential area. Taxi had some difficulty finding the hotel which is down a Soi off the main road. Very quiet and clean.
