- Kevin M. (6/5): - The hotel is decent, but perhaps overpriced for what you are getting. It is generally clean, but not very clean. Please note that there are two nightclubs inside the hotel - one Filipino and the other Thai. (The neighborhood around the hotel is full of Filipino, Thai, Nepalese, Pakistani and other Asian workers who drive the economy in Dubai.) While generally sound proof, you can hear still hear some music thumping late into the night. They close at 4am. So if you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. There is lots of good, inexpensive shopping nearby, but for the brand names, you need to go to the malls. There is a 24 hour grocery store a few meters from the hotel. Note that there are no microwaves in the rooms and the hotel will not allow you to heat up food in any of the restaurants. Dubai Mall (and Burj Kalifa) is about a 10 minute cab ride. Dubai Marina as well. Airport took less than 15 minutes. Walking to the nearest metro stop (Max Fashion) is feasible, but is about a mile away, so I generally took an Uber or Bolt taxi. The staff is friendly. The area around the hotel is very safe. Everywhere is safe in Dubai.

I found a dead bug in my bed. And the duzzy CON - NOISE at night. There is a night club on the 1st floor that goes 9 PM - 2 AM Monday to Tuesday , till 4AM on Wednesday to Thur and weekends! From start at 9pm till 2 AM (to 4 AM nights) you can hear and feel the music while in your room/bed. Absolute torcher when you’re trying to rest for an early start. The hotel has 7 floors, lobby is on floor 0.

- Paul (8/5): Used to be better - I've stayed here a few times but it was better when it was managed by Rydges. Chelsea have spoilt it, especially the bars and pool area. They have put a massive screen for sports channels by the swimming pool. Also, the noise from the nightclub goes on well into the night.

And i ask for new room and they said no, no Fan to atleast sub for the AC. Nothing. Its a horrible stay.

The walls were dirty, and the bathroom cabinet had something growing in there as well. Loud music from the club downstrairs played pretty much all night. Lighting in the room was very dim.

I arrived late 2am and it was close to the airport and had everything I needed for a one night stay. Good selection of bars and nightclubs too. Would stay again for a short stay given the great price.

- Faraz (10/5): - There is a standing shower and a bath tub facility. Excellent hot water throughout. Towels and bedsheets were very clean. Free large bottle of water was provided everyday. Close proximity to shopping, grocery and bus stops.
- Faraz (10/5): Comfortable stay - Room was very spacious. Metro train os very far , about 23 minutes walk. But buses are two to 4 minutes walk and you would find buses for all the major malls and attractions. Inside the room yoi would find an iron and board , hot water kettle with tea coffee facility. Bedsheets and towels are always clean and chnaged daily with all the other essential amenities. TV is large in size and many good channels are available. My room 305 was quiet , but also because of COVID corona virus , all the night clubs and pubs in the hotel were closed. Thats why there was no noise. All the restaurants and shops are just a 5 mins walk. Daily they used to replenish a large bottle of water as well.

Not sure why that confusion was at the first place. Chk in, TV and wifi doesn't work. They changed the TV i used my data. There was loud music all night until 4 morning like the speakers are next to my bed. Horrible experience. Bad bedding and smelly room. Don't even want to talk about the toilet. Paid for 2 nights but i chkd out the next morning. And best part no one cares. I stayed at a friends place the other night. Overall experience was nothing less than a nightmare. Im still in shock. Staff are super rude.

- MIRAli (4/5): Won't recommend it at all - The reception and check in was good and comfortable (the valet parking instead of in place parking made it easier). Although the room and the hotel overall was not what I expected. Non smoking room smelled not very nice and there was no way to open a window! I found two nail cuts on the carpets! The iron surface was not clean and the iron board either! The water pressure was terrible and my usual 5 minutes shower took 15 minutes because if that and water temperature! And worst than anything else the hotel had a nightclub which was on untill 3 am and I was in a room on the seventh floor and even with earplugs I woke up many times in the middle of the night. I highly recommend the hotel owners put the comfort of their guests first!

If staying for longer than a few days, be aware that although they can do personal laundry, there is a charge for it depending on the garment. No way to cook your own food, or reheat food from outside restaurants. They do have room service available for a price as well.

If I’m honest, I was a little nervous to stay at this hotel after reading some of the comments, but it is was overall great! Although it is in need of some updates (in the bathroom especially), it was clean, VERY spacious, in an AMAZING location, had wonderful staff, and a great price. Also, it wasn’t as noisy as other people have written in their reviews. We could hear music from the bars/pubs slightly, but we could still sleep with no problems.

Surprised by the facilities that were at the hotel for the price. Overall I’m very happy with the stay, the staff were accommodating even though we arrived at 5am. They organised a tour for us within 20 mins of asking. Would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again if I was to return to Dubai.

Our room was clean and spacious the bathroom is rather old and needs some upgrade sink knobs and shower was a bit nasty, both had black mold the shower was the worse around the door it looked like it had not been clean for sometime and when someone finally did clean it the mold had already embedded into the shower walls. The hotel itself is not bad just really need better cleaning products especially for the shower, please keep in mind my issues were with the bathroom more specifically the shower and the sink knobs were really nasty. I would recommend.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad smell and high noise levels - We were there for only 8hrs, within that time we had to move rooms due to bad smell, conditions & no internet access. After being moved, we could not sleep due to loud noise from the in-house night club and another guest playing loud music upto and including the time we left (6am) although a number of requests were made to reception complaining of the noise issues nothing was done. The worst stay ever in all the countries I've been to.

- Nicolle (10/5): Chelsea plaza! (Sorry I forgot to take pics) - My father and I stayed in this hotel from the 13th-17th December, it was great value for money, breakfast, valet service and wifii was all free throughout our stay. We were allocated a room on the 4th floor which was really cosey,and had a view in the direction of Sheikh Zayed Road. The hotel staff at reception are friendly and allowed us to check in early. We were so grateful for this. Every morning a Hot Buffet breakfast was served, baked beans, eggs, pancakes , spring rolls, hot bread rolls, a combination of chicken,sausage and pork sausage, roasted potatoes, and much more,such a wide variety that left us stuffed. We were very pleased with the gym and all the equipment it contained, the pool was a good size too, however the temperature of the water could have been a little bit more warmer. The women’s changing area had a sauna and steam room which was also kept very clean. House cleaning freshened up the room for us every morning when we had left out, which was really nice. At night time this hotel has so much entertainment and play great music. One night we watched 3 live belly dancers perform in the bar in the lobby. There is also a club on the 9th floor and a couple of other pubs Near the lobby with pool and snooker tables. Another bonus about staying in this hotel is the location, everything is on your doorstep. In Satwa you can buy so many great bargains, I baught an S8 phone case for my dad for only 10 dirhams! There are also many eateries to choose from :)

U will have headache during night from the voice of the music as if it is in ur room. So terrible donot advise for family or for anyone need to reset or need some quites. Terrible and unacceptable noise started from 7:00 pm till 3:00 am . Unbelievable.. Donot advise

But not recommended for families with kids, or business people as the hotel contains low class crowd bars/clubs also the music is too loud that I could hear the music lyrics from my 4th floor room. The following items was not for free: dental kit & slippers. No toilet seat shower, and bottled water is free on 1st day only.

- Nelly (4/5): I wouldn't recommend this hotel - When we arrived to this hotel we arrived an hour early before the actual check in time (2:00pm) we were told we would be notified when a room was available the person that told us he would call us when a room became available went home, honestly I found the extremely disrespectful because we weere just waiting in the lobby's like fools. Besides that whole situation when we wanted to go to the pool (which was open) the front desk informed us that we couldn't use the facilities even though we had a reservation there. i wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone travelling with kids or doesnt like smoking because from when we walked in the room stunk like smoke and there even was holes in the towels. The towels are outdated, the washroom is falling apart, the room smells musty, they didn't want to give us complimentary water bottles because we didn't want them to clean their room. Honestly the only good thing I could say about this hotel is the location, it's close to all the stores, food, western union etc but other than that I wouldn't even put my dog to stay in this hotel.

The staff moved me to a new room and also reimbursed me with meals on the house. Overall, a very good experience!
- Neil (8/5): Chelsea Plaza 2017 - The Chelsea Plaza is in a great location for the WTC Exhibition hall and offers excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and efficient. The local area has some great local restaurants. There is one nightclub in the hotel which is loud, but it didn't stop me sleeping.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 10/10 would not recommend - Not great. Wifi didn't work very well. I was in a non-smoking room that reeked of old smoke. During my whole time in Dubai I only went to the hotel to sleep and whenever I was there it was miserable. The lighting in the rooms are horrible which makes me feel like they are trying to hide that it's dirty. You had to jiggle the toilet handle to make it flush and it's located in a VERY noisy area which isn't good if you're a light sleeper (fortunately I'm not). I definitely wouldn't ever stay here again especially given the price I paid for two nights. You're better off staying in a holiday inn.
- mujda (2/5): noisy and unpleasant stay - i did stay for 10 days in the hotel i can say it was the worst experience i have in my life the location is really far from the metro you need to take taxi to go the station. its is very noisy the night club downstairs starts music from 9 pm till am every day i stayed in level 4 but the sound was like its next door, very old , smelly , it should be rated -10 you can hear the cars in the street

- IK (6/5): Nice room but not so good service. - The room is very nice, the shower is great. I was give a code to use the internet for free up to 3 devices. Only one device was working at a time. So I called and asked for another code. The front desk staff told me she will send me the code with a person to my room. I waited and waited no one showed up. I then called and told them to forget it because I was going to sleep. The staff are not very cooperative and and should be nicer to guests. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is really nice. I would give this hotel a 4 or even 5 if the staff had a better more accommodating attitude.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Noisey hotel. - This was an unfortunate booking on my part. The hotel staff are really friendly & helpful. The biggest problem with this hotel is the fact that it has an in house club situated in the middle of the hotel. The sound is unbearable and I hardly slept (the club closes at 3am). Upon complaining to reception, they moved me to another room. However the noise was worse. There is also a bar in the reception that one can hear from the lower floor rooms (also closes at 3am). If a good night's sleep is important to you, avoid this hotel.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - I have stayed at the Chelsea before and always enjoy it as the location is great, but they need to fix the water situation. Its hard to get the water temp right in the shower with the two knobs. Its either unbearably hot or chilly.
- Frank Tom (6/5): An old Hotel I've used many times before. - In the 80's my family and I lived just a few blocks away from the location of the Plaza hotel. So I have gone back to this hotel possibly 15 to 20 times over the past years. Unfortunately on this one night stay I was quite disappointed by the state of repair of the hotel. The desk clerk took twice as long as other hotels to check us in and out of the hotel. The plumbing in the bathroom was beginning to fall apart and the water pressure was low. The room was clean and comfortable otherwise. I see that Chelsea now has 4 properties in Dubai and it appears they are allowing the Plaza to decline while possibly investing more in other properties.

- Ioana (8/5): Good Value for the Money - Overall we had a great time. Basic breakfast. Free WiFi. Nice pool area which included a jacuzzi, billiard table, gym, stream room/sauna and spa. All needed a bit of dusting and fixing. The room was nicely decorated with old style furniture like in the pictures. It has a minibar, LCD TV and daily free bottles of water. The bathroom comes with amenities and it needs a bit of fixing. If you are a light sleeper, we do not recommend to book a room at a higher level because of the nightclubs. It gets very noisy due to the music that lasts until 3-4 am. Our room view was towards the Satwa roundabout which has a nicely lighted fountain in the middle. We could see the panoramic city view with Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. The hotel has a good Italian restaurant at the ground floor with relaxing ambiance and tasty selections of food and wines. The lift/elevator works with the room card only which is a plus for the safety of the hotel and their guests. The check in staff disappoints thou because of their lack of enthusiasm towards the customers but helpful when asked. Housekeeping was good. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and assistive when needed. The place has so much potential of being a more than a good hotel but it needs to be revived by the personnel. We recommend this hotel for its location and cost benefits.

It's in an area of the city that is quite cheap, we walked and shopped near the hotel and everything was inexpensive. The hotel was clean, let us store our luggage, friendly. We had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable.

- Dewain (8/5): Surprisingly Nice Hotel - Location is centrally located in walking distant from some great food restaurants, a grocery store, and pharmacy. Hotel service was fast and friendly. The room was exactly like the pictures posted online. Clean and up to date. There was some noise from the club located in the hotel but it wasn't bad enough to be an issue. I had a very pleasant stay and this hotel will be added to my approved list for future bookings.

Actually the hotel had a couple of restaurant on site I can attest for the Italian cuisine which was great. The only downside the I can said is the noise level. My room was facing the front of the hotel which provided a great view of the fountain but I can hear everything from outside. Even though I was on the third floor I can still hear the load music from the nightclub located downstairs.

The C1 bus takes you to the airport and also to Al Fahidi station, close to Dubai Museum, Fort, Meena Bazaar. The hotel is clean and very busy. I had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The pool is heated and there is a sauna. The room is very large, with lots of storage space, large bathroom, a desk and a sofa. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

- marlin (2/5): horribly noisy hotel. - A combination of a really busy and noisy road right outside and a shockingly loud nightclub thatbgetsngoing at 9.30 every night meant anterior 4 nights. Hotel is old and tired as well. Staff ok but pretty low grade - but then it's a cheap hotel!

- Lynne (10/5): Very nice hotel, close to local shopping - We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Chelsea Plaza. my husband and I were travelling with our daughter and 3yo grand daughter. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help us at any time. Our rooms were beautiful and cleaned daily, even waiting until late in the day if we were in. Clean sheets and towels every day! We walked around the local shops and purchased children's clothing, shoes, handbags and gifts in a more relaxed atmosphere than the huge malls, which we visited as well. Air conditioning worked wonderfully which welcome in Dubai's heat. Taxi's were called for us, trips booked for us, we could not have wanted for anything more
