The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Very bare-bones experience overall. The bathroom amenities were minimal — just the basics (towels, shower gel, shampoo, and soap) with nothing beyond the essentials. Don’t expect any frills or extra touches.

The air condition unit was in the room and you could adjust it cooler or warmer. The property had an elevator but you need to take your luggage up 4 or 5 stairs to enter the hotel. Then you have to go down a short flight of stairs to reach the elevator from the front desk and the elevator stops between floors meaning you may have to take your luggage up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room. More stairs than expected at a hotel with an elevator.

I decided to book this hotel after confirmed there's lift. However, lift locates at half floor. I had to move 2 heavy luggage from steps at the entrance, from reception to lift on G/F, then from lift on 2/F to my room on second floor.

- Fiona (2/5): je ne le conseille pas du tout. - proximité gare King's cross et st pancras la chambre était au dessus des rails de train et toutes les 5 minutes un train y passait , le lit tremblait legerement, le bruit des trains étaient fort. Il n'y avait pas de trains entre 1h du matin et 5h du matin. La télécommande était si dégoutant , sale, que j'ai utilisé deux lingettes désinfectantes pour enlever la saleté , et encore, il y en avait encore dans les creux autour des boutons. les rideaux étaient très sales avec les tâches bizarres. Le sol n'est pas en parquet mais lino, avec le saleté dans les endroits où le lino n'est pas collé. La chambre donne sur un passage étroit bétonné et pas du tout un cours intérieur. Murs de la chambre pas isolants et on entend tous ce qui se passe dans le couloir.

Bed was comfy The bedroom door had a gap where you could see into the corridor. Window was rotten and was open when we got there as there was a slight smell in the room

- Mare (1/5): very cold experience - like sleeping on the street :) - Room window was broken and the temperature was same as on the street 2 … also bathroom door was widely open and broken so all the cold wind what came in went directly over me to the bathroom and out from there … I was sick (quite high temperature) about one week after that one night and it ruined my holiday totaly … Italian restaurant was good - one warm place where to sit and good coffe and good food :) sleeping practically on the street … two weeks later that window was broken already. So be careful … reception refused to change my room

- scot (5/5): If all you need is a bed close to the station this is ideal. You get what you pay! - Great location opposite Kings Cross Station. The shower was excellent... It was extremely cheap for central London and you get what you pay for. Extremely tired and dated hotel. My lower ground floor room with bars on the windows made it feel like I was in the dungeon! Tap not fixed to the wall, curtains hanging off the rail.

- Martin (7/5): A good place to stop for a night before getting the Eurostar - A great location for access to Kings Cross / St. Pancras stations We booked a twin room and we’re given a triple room, which was fine, but beds were narrow: 2ft 6in wide, I think. The corridors are narrow and a bit difficult to negotiate with luggage. Although there is a lift you still need to go up and down some steps.

- Richard (6/5): Handy stay when arriving by Eurostar - The location across the road from St Pancras and Kings Cross was the reason we chose it. The room was comfortable with an air conditioner, and the room we used had views to the stations. The main negative is that the lift to the third floor was fine, but there is steps from the reception to get luggage down to the lift and steps to get to the 3rd floor, so lugging bags was difficult, but it is an old building. There is no breakfast available in the hotel.

- Kathryn (6/5): I’d stay somewhere else next time - Proximity to St Pancras Station There was water dripping from the door frame in the bathroom to the floor and a towel was in the doorway collecting the dripping water. The floor creaked every time you moved; the bed was not comfortable.
