Choose room option for 3 for bigger room and bathroom, can use the 3rd twin bwd to open luggage. Not a fan of having to turn room key into front desk every time we left, they never checked ID when giving keys back. Location, ok, 3 blocks from main train station.

- Jennifer (8/5): - Picked this boutique hotel as it was very close to the meeting location of the Beaches of Normandy tour. It is small, but worked for what we needed. It is close to the metro and major tourist attractions. AC is easily controlled. Only complaint was no stand up shower.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t do it….just don’t - In all honesty, I chose this hotel pretty last minute, as while in London we decided to do a quick 3 day trip to Paris. While the reviews I saw were totally mixed, it was more about the price. Won’t make that mistake again. I think we reserved their smaller room, and small it was. More like tiny. I don’t know what pictures they tried to pass off for the room they advertised, but it was definitely not the same! The door wouldn’t lock, the shower door was broken, one of the toilet flushes didn’t work, paper thin walls as we could hear everything happening in the next room. We couldn’t leave our window open because we didn’t feel safe. I am really disappointed in Hotels.com and the hotel itself. If I could demand a refund I would. We actually only stayed 1 night and booked another hotel for the rest of our stay in Paris. We felt that unsafe and uncomfortable.

The hotel itself is good however the bathroom is small and some rooms could be tricky to get into from the staircase if you have big luggage. The lift is small too so I’d advise this hotel is best for a short stay with smaller luggage. The hotel is in a good area close to metro Argentine and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and I would stay there again for a weekend trip.

- ted (10/5): - This hotel is honestly a bit outdated in terms of its facilities, but since most building are very old in Paris, it’s understandable. However, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were truly kind. Transportation was also convenient, with a metro and bus stop within a 5-minute walk. Perhaps because the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées are right next door, I felt safe even walking around at dawn. There was also a stop for the open tour bus, which was really convenient. I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended!

- Alvin (10/5): Great Hotel. Friendly staff and great location - Great Hotel. Perfect location. Arc de triomphe is 3 mins walk you will see it as soon as you step out the front door. Very clean and They clean your room everyday too. Front desk Akim is very friendly. Great customer service. He is very personable and accommodating. Highly recommended. We didn’t get to say bye to him he’s off on our check out day. We extend our appreciation. Book this hotel and you will be pleased for the experience.

For example- garbage can lid cracked off, buttons on remote worn out, no back on the remote, no place for water( hot or cold), toilet seat loose, bathroom tap loose. Just needs a little TLC.

- Ashley (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Avoid this “hotel”. The so-called “Deluxe Room” had a faulty shower and a loose toilet seat. The place is more like a hostel than a hotel - except that I have stayed in better hostels in Paris than this for half the price. We didn’t like the room or the hotel so we decided to check out early. The management told us we had to contact Expedia to cancel the reservation. When Expedia contacted the hotel they refused to cancel the reservation. Accusing us of simply changing our plans - they are so deluded that they could never accept that the hotel is bad - they kept our money (yes in line with the terms and conditions but if a customer says “I do not like your hotel and want to leave” keeping their money is not a smart move for good customer service). They also refused to refund the city tax for the nights we did not stay, which I consider to be theft. If you want your time in Paris ruined stay here. Otherwise spend half the amount on a hostel. Or stay in a different hotel. That the hotel response to this review will be to deny any problems and blame the customer will prove that what I am saying is true. See the other negative reviews to see what I mean. It is their standard way of dealing with the many complaints that they get.

The place is mall, bathroom is mall to, stairs are small and on curve but have and old lift. Internet conexión internet My first room doesnt existe, then they change me and was good. - James (10/5): Great location and good value - Very pleasant hotel near Arc d’ Triomphe. We wanted a comfortable, clean place at a good location and this hotel is exactly that. No lobby to lounge in and no restaurant but plenty of restaurants and a great bakery nearby. Desk staff was extremely helpful. Will stay here again.
- Cathleen Jing (2/5): - Hotel staff double charged city tax. When I confronted them they charged me tax on top of per room per night plus tax estimation per hotel.com. Staff got very emotional. He claimed the tax per Hotel.com are paid to Expedia which is a lie. First night first stop of me and my two young kids Europe trip. I don't want to risk any things. I have travelled to more than 30 countries. First time ever this happened to me. Be aware!!!

It is a 6 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and very near to the Etoile station, which connects me to a lot of touristy places. There's also various food areas if you're looking for variety. The staff were very nice and there was someone in the front desk at all times. My rooms were thoroughly cleaned everyday. While the space is small, I valued the generally safe and accessible area it was in! I felt safe walking even late at night.

The Air Conditioning work great but it did had some water falling down from it when in use. The bathroom was clean and spacious, the shower needs some fixing but nothing major. The location is great is near the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro Train Station. There are many dining places and super markets near.

- Ruth (10/5): - Our room was very clean & quiet. The hotel is so close to the Metro station & Champ Elysee. There are many restaurants and grocery stores near by. I was able to find a self laundry store nearby for our laundry need. That was a plus. I enjoyed my french breakfast at the nearby restaurant with a view of Arc De Triomphe while waiting for my laundry, so thankful!
- Jim (6/5): - The location is good because it is very near the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro Train Station and accessible to the shopping areas and dining places. However, the facility of the hotel like the shower head (leaking) and toilet seat kept on slipping, were not at all repaired. the staff were very helpful especially the front desk but maintenance of the facility leaves much to be desired.
- MARIA (10/5): - Great location with 3 metro stations very close. Lots of options to eat, and 2 supermarkets just steps away. Shopping area, very close to arc de thriomphe. All the receptionists were very nice. Comfortable room with a great size bathroom. Would stay there again no doubt.

The rooms were very cramped, and the elevator is old and small, accommodating only one person and a small suitcase. Since I had two regular suitcases, I had to take the stairs to reach the tiny room. The bedding was dirty, and there was no outlet in the room to charge my cell phone; the only outlet was in the bathroom. After checking in, I decided to check out just 30 minutes later and move to a different hotel, as I didn't feel comfortable staying there. I would never recommend the Hotel Riviera to anyone in the future.

- Yasmin (6/5): - The property is at a good location, easy walk to the Arc de Triumph. The room was tiny, and the shower had a high step, a little nervous when stepping down. The bathroom was right the bed. Staff was pleasant enough. I reminded me more of a hostel than a hotel, not worth the price.
