Guest Reviews
- Anthony (8/5): Enjoyed the old school atmosphere, surprised breakfast was an extra charge. -
- Matthias (8/5): -

- Sandy (4/5): Great location, but just to go there to spend the night - The location is perfect, next to everything in Ljubljana The room door was broken, I couldn’t close the door unless I locked it with keys,
The balcony was dirty,
The bed sheets had some cuts,
There’s no sound proof and it’s gets very noisy
- Joanne (9/5): Cosy and welcoming place to stay - Loved the old fashioned vibe and guest house feel. Nice quiet neighbourhood but still near S and U-Bahn for connection to city center. Would have loved some fruit at breakfast.
- Marco (8/5): Very good -
- Krasimir (4/5): Very dissatisfying experience! - Location There was no WC in my room. I booked a double room with en-suite facilities but was given triple room with no toiled so had to use shared facilities as if I were in a dormitory. The manager didn’t make any effort to make it up while I was still there for 3 nights!
- Gregor (9/5): Perfect charming little Hotel away from all the hussle in a nice neighbood with good restaurants. - It is a lovely over 100 year old Building with loads of charme if you like that. Very friendly owner. It just a lovey cosy little hotel with only 10 rooms. Lovely.
- David (9/5): Superb - Wonderful nostalgic decor. Quiet, even while next to busy main street. Very clean. Friendly staff. WC in hallway was no problem. We had small balcony, which was an extra plus. Breakfast basic, but fine. Recommend!
- Debbi (10/5): Great stay, will be returning for sure! - Fabulous location! Gorgeous building, easy to find, lots to do close by. The owner is wonderful, the breakfast is great and the room is spacious and well appointed. - we loved everything!
- Emmanuel (8/5): Very good -
- Patty_rocha (8/5): Very satisfying. - The location is amazing, close to subway stations, easy to get around town. Breakfast is also very nice, with enough options to start the day with a great meal.
Although the hotel is close to a very busy avenue, the windows have very good sound isolation. The room doesn't have air conditioning and doesn't have any kind of fan. During the more hot days, it can be a little too much.
Also, there's no elevator, so if you have a heavy luggage or a stroller, it can be a bit of a hassle.
- Andrew (8/5): An independent, comfortable and characterful pension/hotel - The location was ideal for us as we were visiting friends and was very near public transport
We liked the characterful interior.
Our room was immaculately clean, comfortable, warm and had an en-suite as requested.
The continental breakfast set us up well for our day.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
A pension gives you independence, as it shares aspects of an Airbnb.
- Valiollah (1/5): Bad -
- Hanno (6/5): Very friendly staff! - Location It was a bit dark in the rooms, poor lights. A proper spring clean would be wonderful
- Lynne (9/5): Wonderful! - The beds are very comfortable! Also, right down the street from the train station.
- Raymond (6/5): A short stay - The staff was very welcoming and helpful minimal choice at breakfast but adequate good wifi connection Had shower and sink in the room but toilet was shared
- Jana (2/5): old and very uncomfortable Pension -
- Mark (8/5): Enjoyed my 4 days in Berlin and would recommend the hotel to others. - The location was close to the metro trains and connector stations which enabled me to travel anywhere throughout Berlin… once I understood how the system worked. It had the charm of a hotel which had been in existence for over 100 years and represented great value. Niina, the manager was informative and friendly and the traditional German breakfast was generous. Once you accept that it is an old building in a residential area, nothing really disappointed me.
- Zayra (9/5): Perfect for weekend trip - Loved the concept, a small old fashioned hotel with a true european feeling. High ceilings, wooden floors & german breakfast in the morning.
The neighborhood was nice with many restaurants and shops at walking distances. The train station was also a very short walk.
- Austin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (7/5): Good - The bedroom was comfortable with good facilities and extremely quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room was cleaned and towels were changed every day.
The location was excellent- very near good shopping areas and train/ bus stations a few minutes away. We arrived at the hotel at 12 30am and opened front door with code given and found a key in a box as arranged.
We were traipsing up and down a wide spiral staircase for a long time wondering what door to try as we thought the whole building was Hotel Pension Senta -as written on the sign outside front door.
We thought this key was just for our bedroom but there was no sign or instructions on the walls to explain anything to us.
It was by trial and error that we opened the door to the 1st floor and found our bedroom on the corridor. To our surprise the one key opened the door to the 1st floor and to our bedroom!
In the bedroom there was a page with all the instructions- it would have helped if those instructions were in the box with the key or on the wall on the ground floor as there is no reception in this hotel.
When we told the lady serving breakfast about our difficulty- she was adamant that there was no need for us to have such difficulty- that it was very clear!
She obviously knows that the guests use 1st floor only but this is not clear to the guests arriving. There is a need for signs on the walls and instructions with the key to avoid any confusion.
The breakfast was poor. I had requested a gluten-free option but there were only rice cakes( no bread, cereal or even fruit)A slice of gluten- free bread would have been nice!- I would have paid extra.
- Kivil22 (9/5): Unique - Owner was very friendly.
Unique vibes of the hostel.
Enough things to do in the vicinity. Old smell in the room.
No toilets in the room.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Sabine (8/5): Very good -
- Davide (4/5): Disappointing - Location No Bathroom in the room!!
- Pablo (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): a convenient & comfortable place for short stays in Berlin - clean quiet comfortable quiet, good bed, no fuss
- פלייסינג (9/5): Superb - everything breakfast could have Been a little more diverse
- Miro (10/5): Excellent value for money. - The room was really big, and nicely decorated.
- Cleiton (8/5): Very good - Staff is amazing and location for my visit was perfect. The Wi-Fi was very slow and breakfast no much choices.
- Erika (8/5): Very good -
- Thorpe (8/5): Excellent service, clean and confortable. Perfect for short stay. - The wifi was quite poor but otherwise excellent service, near a metro and train (Bundenplatz). I would go back Wifi
