- Nermina (9/5): - Warm welcome from the service, clean room, near the center, for the amount of money 10/10. Breakfast is not the best. Near to the train track and you feel and hear all the time when the train is there. I was missing towel or slippers from the service room or the trash was not removed, every day one of these. These are details, overall picture is good.

- Wright (7/5): Great location and wonderful staff, just a couple niggles! - Great location, easy walk to get to main attractions. Staff were super lovely and helpful. Laundry is $4 a kilo which was used and turned around quickly which we really appreciated!! Our only issues were the bed and sound proofing. Bed was super hard, with hard pillows also, the duvet was also too small for the bed so ended up using it long ways which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Room was also not very soundproofed, could hear next door and into the corridor.

- Nicolai (10/5): Excellent. - Room was clean and comfortable. It was my first time in Istanbul and it is walking distance to the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar etc.). Good restaurant options nearby. Wi-fi worked fine. No complaints.

- Mladen (10/5): - Odlična lokacija, naročito za nekog ko dolazi automobilom. Blizina centra grada. Objekat je čist, sve je udobno, moderno. Prilaz je slepa ulica i bila je blokirana 12h usled obližbjeg grasilišta. Iako prigradski voz prolazi odmah pored hotela, sve stanice prevoza zahtevaju barem 5min hoda, dok ni jedna linija ne vodi ka centru (što prosto nije greška objekta, takva je lokacija). U blizini nema prodavnica, sve je namenjeno turistima. (nema veze sa objektom). I da dodam - lokacija hotela prema mapi na Booking-u je 50m dalje od stvarne lokacije. Bolje tražiti hotel direktno na mapama.

Très proche ( en marchant) de Sainte Sophie "mosquée bleue" etc et du tram pour aller vers la Corne d'or. Chambre sympa, salle de bain bien équipée. Juste un petit manque dans ma chambre une source lumineuse au dessus du lit.

Beds could have an extra layer of protection as they only had a single sheet. There was some noise in the room, potentially due to the aircon, but it did not bother me. Although it is technically a central location, the location is a tourist trap with not as many good or cheap restaurants, which is a shame, because the hotel is nice. (This is obviously not the hotel's fault)

- JohnLG33 (4/5): A week in istanbul - Came here with family. Very good service from staff. Room kept tidy usually. Very basic provisions though. Location was lovely. But next to a railway line. A 10 minute uphill walk to the blue mosque only. There was building happening next door which was a nightmare. We had sick children for a few days and sleep was impossible. Also room smelt of smoke despite it being non smoking. Terrible breakfast. But super cheap. Dont do it. Short walk to the sea and amazing views.

Особенно понравилась большая ванная комната, душ был очень мощный и горячая вода🥰номер убирали раз в два дня, полотенца меняли каждый день и убирали мусор. Персонал супер приятный и вежливый. Очень отзывчивый и реагировали на все просьбы и пожелания. Расположение очень удобное- 10 минут до Султанахмет, рядом социальная столовая с прекрасным видом на залив. Сам отель находиться в отдалении от шума. Плотные шторы на окнах создавали возможность выспаться в затемнении после длительных прогулок по городу. В целом отель стоит своих денег по всем параметрам. Большое спасибо за комфортное пребывание. Были вопросы по постельному белью- не всегда хорошем состоянии полотенца и наволочки. Но после просьбы заменить, все всегда сразу заменяли.

- Azina (6/5): Would not recommend this place. - The location There was a lot of noises coming from train rail road next to the hotel and the construction in front of the hotel. The staff were not helpful as they accepted our request to check in early online but once we were onsite, they told us that they accepted the request by mistake. We lost the first day of our trip and everything we planned in advance due to such mistakes.

Parking place was available. I got an upgraded big room with balcony, because it was not busy. I can recommend and would come back again. The fridge was not working, but for just one night-sleep it didn't bother me.

No kettle in room, they have a coffee machine which gives half paper cups of coffee for £1 each. A bit far from everything,have to go up stairs, over a railway bridge then a few steep hills before you reach the central area by the Blue Mosque. It’s not an easy walk. Can hear the train from bedroom. No lift. On the last day some of the electricity went so no air con, but they couldn’t give us fans in the hot rooms as said they didn’t have any. So we struggled for hours. No offer of water or asked if we were ok. Bed sheets didn’t fit the bed, so were just laid on the mattress as too short to tuck under the mattress. The cleaners were ok but never vacuumed the room.

I landed up paying 10% extra just because I was out of cash.Manager said it is the conversion rate we charge also its the euro from pound so the extra charges for room stay and for cruise.The Taxi driver which I booked from hotel to the airport was very unprofessional.He kept smoking all the way.He was on phone all the time chatting and making calls. when I reached airport he put double the price in euros from the actual price which was agreed. He said there was lot of traffic and I have managed to get you on time. when I refused to pay he got angry said something which I dint understood. I just left with very bad experience.

We did not use breakfast neither housekeeping. Staff was friendly, feeling like home :) I like hard matress but maybe it was a bit too hard, although i felt asleep beacuse we were tired.

- Ilia (9/5): Superb - Traveled with my mom and brother, and we really enjoyed everything. Upon arrival, we were given a different room — with a balcony and a sea view — at no extra charge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If something was missing from the room, they brought it right away without any issues. The room itself was very spacious. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, but the staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. The location is perfect — right in the city center, but quiet, with very few tourists around. There's a metro line nearby, but you can barely hear it from the hotel.

Location – Perfectly Placed in the Heart of Istanbul Hotel Lalinn is in a very strategic location — just a short walk from Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the metro station, and Gulhane Park. It’s ideal for exploring Istanbul’s most famous sites on foot. Everything you need is close by, yet the hotel stays peaceful and calm. Cleanliness – Spotless and Comfortable Our room was always very clean and well-kept. The bathroom was in perfect condition, with hot water running smoothly and everything working properly, including the toilet. It was really comfortable coming back to such a clean and tidy space every day. Safety and Accessibility – No Worries at All I would often return to the hotel late, around midnight, and I never had a single issue. The hotel felt very safe and welcoming no matter the time of day. Access was always easy, and I appreciated the calm, secure environment. Staff and Service – Warm, Helpful, and Always Available The real highlight of this hotel is the amazing team. They’re friendly, respectful, and always ready to listen to your needs. A huge thank you to Mr. Zakaria, the “big boss,” who was incredibly helpful and gave me great advice throughout my stay. Also, a special mention to Fadlan, who kindly helped me in the kitchen — truly appreciated! Overall Experience – I Will Definitely Return This was my first time at Hotel Lalinn, and it definitely won’t be the last. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. - Tatiana (1/5): thieves - On the last day of our stay, a precious ring was stolen from our room during the day while we were away. When we returned to the room and discovered the loss, the receptionist replied that we had lost it ourselves. At the same time, personal belongings were clearly open, and the window in the room was also completely open. Half an hour later, the same employee returned the ring and said that he had found it in one of the garbage bags, without even opening them. We lived in the room for 5 days, and the bags had clearly accumulated. In our opinion, the managers themselves are involved in the theft of valuables from the rooms. We do not recommend this hotel.

However if travelling with young children be aware that there is a bridge with steps to cross to get to all the major attractions so with a pushchair it is very difficult. not the fault of the hotel at all as they were excellent. Just something to be aware of if booking with young children. Hotel staff were very good. Vintage hotel.
